Abstract

A unique technique is needed for some people to memorize the Qur'an, especially children who struggle emotionally. Certain techniques designed for Qur'anic memorization are inapplicable to children with impairments. Therefore, understanding the Qur'an requires a unique approach, just as it does for children in general. Ainul Yakin Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta gives children with disabilities a special method to be applied in memorizing the Qur'an called the "Fasih Al-Qur'an" method. This study aimed to find out the "Fasih Al-Qur'an" method to learn the Qur'an for students with emotional disorders at the Ainul Yakin Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. This research is field research with qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques with three steps observation, interview, and documentation. Field qualitative data processing and analysis techniques using four methods data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this paper show that the method of memorizing the Qur'an for children with disabilities, the "Fasih Al-Qur'an" method is proof of the ease of remembering the Qur'an because the Qur'an is for all humans without any differences, especially children with emotional disorders. Habitual learning in boarding schools makes children accustomed to memorizing the Qur'an, and negative behavior will be reduced

Abstract

In history, the term qitāl has existed for a long time, even long before the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his message in the form of the Qur'an. Then Islam came to complement the previous teachings. However, in this recent era, lafazh qitāl, which is often interpreted as a war between two camps or groups, has given rise to a negative view of Islam. Namely, there are accusations regarding terrorist and radical teachings in the Islamic religion, this is due to a misunderstanding of understanding this lafazh. Then a question arises, Are the accusations made against Islam true? So this research aims to examine in more depth the meaning of lafazh qitāl from time to time using semantic theory so that it can refute existing accusations regarding Islamic teachings. To answer this question, this research uses a descriptive-analytical method related to the meaning of qitāl pronunciation from the perspective of Toshihiko Izutsu's semantic theory, thus this research produces that qitāl pronunciation from this era has experienced development. Namely, it can be seen that in pre-Qur'anic times this meant killing, then in the Koranic era, it meant war that was defensive or defensive, after the revelation of the commandment verse for war this word developed into attack to control or be offensive, and following existing boundaries. Then in the end, this form of war does not always mean taking up arms so that bloodshed occurs, but means war with ideology that divides Muslims

Abstract

There is disagreement among scholars since the word "Qur'an" has multiple meanings. The Qur'anic phrases "Al-Hawa" and "Al-Syahwah" are examples of pairs of synonymous sentences. At first glance, from the perspective of the second language, the lafadz has almost the same meaning, namely love or pleasure. But the Qur'an gives different meanings from the two lafazh. This study aims to find out the original meaning of lafazh Al-Hawa and Al-Syahwah, find out the difference in meaning by examining the contextual meaning of lafazh Al-Hawa and Al-Syahwah in the Qur'an, to reveal the wisdom contained in the Qur'an as a whole. To examine the differences between the words Al-Hawa and Al-Syahwah in the Qur'an, the author uses a descriptive-analysis method and a semantic approach, namely by examining the words Al-Hawa and Al-Syahwah in terms of linguistic differences. From linguistic differences, it can be concluded that al-Hawa is more inclined to opinions or beliefs that are inclined to negative traits because they neglect the perpetrators. While al-Syahwah is more inclined to the senses that have no effect on the body but affect psychological pleasure that is praiseworthy at one time and can be reprehensible at another time

Abstract

This study, Metaphor between Al-Rumani and Sayyid Qutb in the Holy Qur'an: A Comparative Study, compared Sayyid Qutb, a well-known modern writer, with Al-Rumani, an older writer, in order to emphasize the metaphor technique. The study's approach will be twofold: first, it will define the terms "statement" and "metaphor," and then it will adopt an analytical approach by analyzing the metaphor used in the Holy Quran by Al-Ramani and Sayyid Qutb. The study's conclusions and their differences indicate that these two scholars agree that rhetoric—and metaphor in particular—is a crucial component of miracles in the Holy Qur'an. They use various methods and passages from the Holy Qur'an to explain metaphors in different ways

Abstract

Gender equality is a Western concept that is well applied in its culture to humanize women, for the dark history experienced by women during the middle ages which had an impact on traumatic attitudes towards men and religious statements, and with this sensitive nature, feminist groups oppose statements that are valued gender bias, especially in the holy texts, by adhering to the concept of 'gender equality' which means equal as a whole. However, the results of applying the concept of gender equality to the Qur'an state that the statement of the Qur'an and the interpretation of previous scholars' values ​​is gender bias, especially in Q.S An Nisa': 34 regarding male leadership in the household, which is then responded by many Muslim leaders and even contemporary mufassir, one of them with the 'concept of gender harmony'. Therefore, this research will discuss how the application of the concept of gender equality to Q.S An Nisa': 34 and the response of Muslim leaders and commentators do they agree with 'gender equality', or are they against it? To answer this question, this research used a descriptive method. analysis related to the interpretation of Quraish Shihab who is a contemporary mufassir and critical thinker, thus in this study the results were obtained that in relations between men and women cannot be equalized as a whole as the concept of 'gender equality', because both have differences in nature which turns out to have been adjusted with their respective tasks such as discussing the concept of 'gender harmony'

Abstract

This study allude to the story of the discovery of the Pharaoh's mummy as informed in the Qur'an. The discovery of Pharaoh's mummy can be investigated in modern discoveries or research, as was done by Maurice Buceille who found traces of salt in Pharaoh's mummy. Before research on Pharaoh's mummies, archaeologist Loret made the initial finding of this mummy. Elliot Smith then carried out research and discovered Pharaoh's body, which was still intact. Pharaoh indeed perished in the sea. This work poses the topic of how to interpret Quraish Shihab's view of the Qur'anic tale and how to explain it. Yunus [10]: 92, How accurate is Maurice Buceille's account of finding a mummy of a Pharaoh and converting to Islam as a result? This paper examines library research, using qualitative methods. The goal of this study is to highlight the opinions of Quraish Shihab in Al-interpretation Mishbah as an Indonesian interpreter who provides in-depth explanations of the pharaoh's mummy that were discovered after centuries. As well as explaining the inspiring story that converted to Islam after his research on the mummy of the Pharaoh named Maurice Bucaille which is also presented in Tafsir Al-Mishbah

Abstract

The problem in the learning process is that it is difficult to understand and memorize lessons, this is due to reduced concentration so as to slow down the comprehension and make memory decrease, to overcome this problem there is a practice carried out in Madrasah Aliyah Ash-Syafi'iyyah Sidoarjo, namely routinely reading the Qur'an surah al-Mulk before starting the learning process. Surah al-Mulk itself is believed to have content related to learning, such as seeking knowledge, forming attitudes and behaviors, and instilling skills. To know the application of Living Qur'an. Researchers want to analyze how the practice of reading surah al-Mulk in Madrasah Aliyah Ash-Syafi'iyyah Sidoarjo and what is the impact of reading surah al-Mulk in Madrasah Aliyah Ash-Syafi'iyyah Sidoarjo. This research is a field research using descriptive methods and qualitative approaches, which aims to make descriptions, drawings or paintings systematically. By taking data from school principals, teachers, and also students. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the analysis, the researcher concluded that; The activity of recitation of surah al-Mulk is practiced together and followed by all students every day before starting the lesson with the aim of expecting blessings and intercession from surah al-Mulk itself. This activity has an impact that students feel more relaxed and calm before starting learning and make them more focused, easy to understand and memorize lessons.

Abstract

Allah has created everything by His power, One of His greatness is the creation of water which is needed by living things on this earth. Water is a very important element for the life of living things. Like plants need water to grow. There are many verses that talk about water in the Quran. In Arabic, water is called the word “al-maa”. This research was conducted to find out the meaning and nature of water in the Qur'an from a scientific perspective and the methods of the mufassirs in interpreting the Kauniyyah verses. This research is library research using the thematic interpretation method (thematic), namely collecting verses of the Qur’an related to water, conducting an analysis with the interpretation of tahlili, and then drawing conclusions. The results obtained in this study are water in Arabic is called the word “al-maa’” it turns out that water is mentioned in the Qur'an 63 times in 41 surahs, and has different kinds according to the type and benefits. The method used by the mufassir to interpret the Kauniyyah verses is to pay attention to linguistic rules, verse correlation, established scientific facts, and use a thematic approach.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the selection of words and pronunciations that have a very subtle difference between the words that are similar and that correspond to the meaning in the holy book Al-Quran Al-Karim and to explore the secrets of the selection of these pronunciations in terms of the study of I'jaz lughowi and I'jaz bayani. Every word used in the Quran carries a certain meaning that cannot be fulfilled by other words and has special features from the point of view of the science of bayan and the science of meaning. With this study, we can study the Quran so that we can experience the greatness of the Quran and the pleasure of interacting with the verses of Allah. This study compares two figures of different eras who were famous in the debate on the science of balaghah, namely, Khattabi and A'isyah Abdulrahman. Khattabi and A'isyah Abdulrahman think that eloquence and language style are miracles of the Quran. . Balaghah is the appropriateness of eloquent and clear words to a person's situation and condition and being able to express it with a beautiful arrangement as well as giving the influence of the soul to it. Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن منهج الترجيح بالسنة في تفسير ابن كثير من خلال دراسة لنماذج من الجزء الثلاثين، وذلك عن طريق تتبع الآيات التي فسرها ابن كثير، ثم النظر إلى اختياراته وترجيحاته فيها، وحتى يتعرف الباحث على منهج ابن كثير في هذه المسألة استخدم المنهج الاستقرائي لاستقصاء الآيات، وجمع المواد العلمية المتعلقة بهذا الجانب، ثم استخدم المنهج التحليلي لتحليل الآيات السابقة، والكشف عن منهج الترجيح المتعلق بالسنة فيها، حيث تبين بعد ذلك أن من مناهج الترجيح بالسنة عند ابن كثير اعتماده على ما ورد عن رسول الله r ثم اعتماده على السنة الصحيحة، ثم الترجيح بالحديث وإن كان فيه ضعفٌ شريطة أن تقويها أمورٌ أخرى كالشواهد والمتابعات، أو دلالة السياق القرآني.
