Adultery is a very bad deed and a big sin for the Adulterer in Islam. However, In this modern era, many muslims still do it. Nevertheles, Muslims know about the prohibition of adultery. This paper is aimed to explore further the interpretation of adultery according to Ash-Shabuni in the tafsir book of Shafwatu Tafasir. This study used a library research method. The data collection method is based on literature from scientific books related to the problem of adultery. The results of the research according to Ash-Shabuni revealed that Adultery for unmarried adulterers (ghairu muhsan) were beaten a hundred times and exiled for a year while adultery for married offenders (muhsan) was stoned to death.

Quran, as the main source of Islam and the last revelation of Allah, contains countless knowledge and solutions of any creature’s problems. Quran explains most of matter with general terms and condition then Prophet Muhammad came with specific explanation. It signifies that any problem mentioned in Quran, whether generally or specifically, such a big problem of any creature. One of it is khamr. Khamr is an Arabic terms which is usually identified as intoxicating drinks or alcohol. Quran mentions word khamr in several verses in different Surah. It mentions with diverse word forms and patterns. Some of them are written in Arabic general form (nakirah) and others are in specific form (ma’rifah). Therefore, this diversity must create various meanings of the word. This paper aims to discuss the several of term khamr in Quran due to the distinct patterns of the words. It is focused on the Arabic linguistic study for issuing the basic meaning of khamr. Therefore, common people and moslem scholar may know what the true meaning of khamr. This research find that not all Khamr mentioned in pertain to unlawful thing, for only that which is written in specific form (ma’rifah) or with (ال) pertains to it.

This study is to investigate The Verses of Mutasyabihat,. It was one element of the al-Qur'ân which Contains various, miraculous and interesting aspects, the kind of this verse is mutashabihat lafziyyah. These verses have similar reduction but these have different meaning. Hence, every verse has its own purpose, different with each other such the story of the Prophet Ibrahim. It was because that there are repetition word that contain different meanings that can be understood by semantical analysis.This study revealed that the Mutashabihat verses in the story of the Prophet Ibrahim, have semantical aspects. The first deduction and addition in word Bal in the verse 70-73 of al-Syu’ara’ and deduction in the verse 52-53 of al-Anbiya’. The second is al-Ta’rif wa al-Tankir in the world al-Balad in the verse 126 of al-Baqarah and in the word balad in the verse 35 of Ibrahim. The third is al-Taqdim wa al-Ta’khir in the word al-Awwah and al-Halim in the verse 114 of al-Taubah and its opposite in the verse 75 of Hud. The forth is altering the words with another words, such as the word al-Halim in the verse 101 of al-Shoffat and the word al-‘Alim in the verse 26 of al-Dzuriyyat and in the verse 53 of al-Hijr.

This research is aimed to investigate the selection of words and sentences in the 25th verse from Surah Maryam (wa huzzy ilayki bi jidz’I al-nakhlati tusâqith ‘alaiki ruthaban janiyya) of the Qur'an. It seems to examine the hidden meaning of words and sentences in verses of the Qur’an in order to discover its linguistic miracle (al-I’jaz al-lughawi). This research used descriptive analytic method to investigate the meaning of the verse from the linguistic point of view. This study found two important points. The first, the verse mention that Maryam who is pregnant and giving birth was commanded by Allah to swing the date palm until the date falls and she can eat from it. To expressit, al-Qur’an articulates it with the word huzzy rather than ḥaraky. It was because that the verse wants to say that in order to achieve his goal, one should work hard. The second is that the Qur’an has similar view with that of the modern discoveries pertaining to the benefit of ruthab for pregnant women. Therefore, it is ruthab that has mentioned in this verse as the meal for Maryam who is pregnant. In addition, ruthab contains lots of sucrose which can make pregnant women easier to give birth beside the fact that it is also good for fetal development.

This article aims to discuss the interpretation of the Khilafah as the opposition to secularization of politics according Sayyid Quthb. The proponents of secularism assume that state law cannot be put together with the religious law because of the absence of a relation. In addition, secularism tries to destroy the Khilafah Islamiyyah and the Sultanate of Ottoman Turkey in the 19th while the sultanate was led by Musthofa Kemal who attempts to affect the country and to destroy Islam as religion in the country. Rasullullah as the first khalifah of Islam has shown that a country can be built by following the Qur’an and Sunnah. That can be proven with the formation of the state in Medina and the Medina Charter as the law of this country. Based on this background, the Author Attempts to study thematically the problem of Khilafah in the Qur’an according to Sayyid Quthb in his Tafsir in order to discover how he opposes secularism through proposing his concept of Khilafah. In addition, the Author also uses Socio literature approach to describe sociological aspect of the interpretation of the Qur’an pertaining to the problem of Khilafah. Sayyid Quthb suggested that state law cannot be separated from Islamic law. It was because that appointing man to be a khalifah in the earth has been declared initially before the creating of Adam that has been equipped with the intellect the benefit of which is for scrutinizing all laws of Allah, having been recorded in the verses of Qur’an. This law will help human being to perform their obligations as khilafatu al-ardhi Therefore, if the state keeps the laws of Islam instead of the laws of country, it will cause muslim community keeps away from the sharia and put forward their thought and passion.

The essence of dakwah and its implementation is a form in the study of dakwah which is still relevant to be raised and to be discussed at this time. The main consideration is because that the dakwah problem theoretically is continuosly being studied and developed. However, it was the fact that there is something that has not been revealed from the study result of its scientists. Providing earnings in dakwah activities is often found in daily lives. There were arguments that showed pro and contras to respond this phenomenon. This qualitative study aimed to describe the presumption of the preachers ( da’i) about this problem. The study proved that providing earnings in dakwah activity appears reasonable as a guarantee for the cost of accomodation and transportation in its implementation.

This research explains the characteristic model of rasm in copying Mushaf al-Qur'an Pesantren Tebuireng collection. The object of this research is Surat Yasin. This Research will try to see the use of rasm in copying based on the rules described by Imam al-Suyuti in his temple al-Itqan. This study concluded that the copying of the Mushaf al-Qur'an collection of Pondok Tebuireng used Imla'i form in hazf rules or remove letters. However, in other rules, the rule of rasm usmani part ziyadah, hamz, badl, al-Fasl wa al-Wasl, and qiraat were using the form of a rasm usmani.

This study discusses hermeneutics in terms of its history and its use as a method of analysis as well as its comparison with the ta’wîl method in the interpretation of texts. This study used a qualilative method with a literature review approach and comparative analysis. Hermeneutics was originally a study of text interpretation in the Bible whereas ta’wîl was a study of interpretations of the Quran particularly for verses that have inner meanings. Until their scientific development, there are resemblances Both of two studies, but there are also differences in the fundamental principles between them.Thi study almed to show the comparison between two studies it appears that there are several comparisons in the usage history, in the requirement in explaning the verses. Then the technique in using those methods.

This Article discusses the arguments that announced by Imam al-Baqillani to deny the existance of saja’ in the Holy qur’an. Imam al-Baqillani stated four arguments in this regard. The first, saja’ is created by shaman. Saja’ is one of human speech type that means relied on the word. Saja’ has unperfect measure. The second, the writer discusses the issue of saja’ in the holy Quran. It assumed that shaman’s creation are compositional and faked. However, the principle of saja’ in Al qur’an is on the contrary. It was because that the decree of Allah is not human saying.It was miracle in words and meaning. Saja’, in Al-Qur’an, rhetorically,aimed to strengthen the meaning carried. This character is definitely different with the arabic poetry with the unperfect saja’.

The word of As-Sahab is the types of object in which is assumed as a sign of rain because most of the context which explained As-Sahab in Al-Qur’an is followed by rain. However, in the other verses, As-Sahab is interpreted as a cloud that cover the sunlight without followed by rain. After examine the word “Cloud” in Al Quran, there are several possibilities. Several cloud has water content. In addition, “cloud” has diverse nature which has explained in Al Qur’an with diffferent word. Therefore, what is the meaning of As-Sahab in arabic term? What is the characteristic of word As-Sahab as a Cloud in the other explanation? This study aimed to describe the meaning of As-Sahab and several words that have similar meaning so that it will find the exactly word. It also will be known each features in Interpretation of Al-Qur’an. It is revealed that As-Sahab is Sahabah in plural form. The other meaning is Ghaym. However. The word ‘Cloud” in Al-Qur’an has many features such Cloud which float in the sky,The heavy cloud, the piled up cloud. Allah has distinguished cloud base on its movement. While, Ghamam is interpreted as a cloud which cover sunlight. This cloud is assumed without followed by rain. Rakham is the type of Piled up cloud followed by rain. Muzni means collect. It means that there are water content in cloud. The last, Mu’sirat is the feature of cloud which produce rain after collected.
