Abstract

One of the organizations in Aceh that deals with religious instruction and learning is Dayah DMA. Students who pursue higher education and are enrolled in religious education institutions are known as mahasantri, and they are thought to possess greater physical and psychological development than students in regular schools. No doubt learning in two distinct locations has different job demands, which could put more strain on Mahasantri's mind. This study aims to determine the causes of high mental load on mahasantri and investigate potential disparities in mental burden according to gender, status, and class levels. Purposive sampling is used in this study to handle primary data from 56 mahasantri respondents who completed questionnaires as part of a quantitative approach. According to the research that was done, 50% of mahasantri, or 28, report having a significant level of mental strain. Physical demand has the highest impact on mahasantri's mental burden, accounting for 18.35% of the total. Subsequently, an independent sample t-test conducted with SPSS version 26 was employed to statistically evaluate the average mental burden score to ascertain whether mental burden varied according to gender, status, and class level categories. The burden for gender and status categories did not differ, according to the results. But in terms of mental load, there was a notable variation for the class level category

Abstract

Based on initial observations, information from green clam shell collectors that the production of green clams in Kampung Kerang Hijau, Cilincing, North Jakarta, can reach 5 tons/day when the condition of the clams is abundant and can reach 1 ton/day when the condition of the clams is declining. Based on this number, until now green mussels are only used for their meat to be consumed by the community and the waste accumulates in landfills and causes an unhealthy environment for the surrounding community. Based on this background, as an effort to reduce green clam shell waste, improvements need to be made. The purpose of this study is to be able to determine the optimal formulation/composition of green clam shell powder in the manufacture of bricks and to determine the characteristics/properties of bricks produced through testing rules. The method used in this study is an experimental method, carried out by making samples, testing samples, and drawing conclusions with comparative techniques against standards. The results obtained in this study are the optimal composition to produce good quality bricks, namely by using a mixture of 10% fine shell powder on sand. The characteristics or properties of the resulting bricks are with a compressive strength value of 10.26 N/mm2, water absorption of 16.45%, and resistance to nails (not broken or cracked)

Abstract

Globalization has become the main driver for the wave of information and technological innovation, stimulating the transformation of consumers to become more sensitive to quality standards and the value of the products offered. This research aims not only to explore how quality control utilizes sophisticated statistical tools in curbing the level of product defects in the corporate environment, but also as an important milestone in understanding the dynamics of change in an increasingly connected era of globalization. This research uses the Statistical Process Chart method. In an effort to control quality, statistical analysis becomes the main weapon, with check sheets and histograms acting as navigation that leads to understanding complex data. The control chart p becomes a sentinel that monitors the traces of defective products, keeping them within the desired statistical control limits. However, it is not enough to simply observe; The next step is to explore the root of the problem, which is depicted through a cause-and-effect diagram that details the factors of materials, labor, machines and production methods as the main determinants of the success or failure of a product. The analysis results show that even within control limits, real challenges arise from factors that are the main triggers for product damage, such as remaining pieces which cause damage of 29,160 grams, followed by damage due to crushing of 2,900 grams. From here, conclusions and recommendations develop, guiding improvement steps to ensure quality standards are maintained, in line with increasingly stringent and diverse global market demands

Abstract

Academic institutions' libraries contribute significantly to students' success by giving them access to the information resources they need. Sentiment analysis of library services is crucial in the current digital era to comprehend student perspectives and enhance service quality. The purpose of this study is to assess how XYZ University students feel about the library services thereby applying the Support Vector Machine (SVM) technique. Data obtained through a survey utilizing a Google Form is used in this study to analyze sentiment using the SVM algorithm. Preprocessing steps include data cleaning, normalization, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming. Eighty percent of the data were used to train the SVM model, while twenty percent of the data were used to test it. The evaluation findings demonstrated that the SVM model could classify sentiment with a 90% accuracy level. This result was confirmed using an accuracy, precision, recall, and F-measure metrics confusion matrix. The sentiment analysis's findings revealed that most students had a favorable opinion of the library's services, particularly when it came to the staff's effectiveness and the facilities' cleanliness. But there are still certain areas that require work, including managing noise and adding more pertinent book selections. To increase overall library user happiness, it is advised to put in place a program that focuses on enhancing the quality of a quieter learning environment and providing a selection of books that meet the needs of students

Abstract

Farmers are forced to water each crop individually or wait to switch off the water pump. to avoid this, water management needs to be optimized—that is, it needs to be done on schedule, in the appropriate quantity, and throughout a wide area in an effective manner. That is hybrid communication between online and offline communication. To run this system will use 3 nodes, for details 1 node in the irrigation section, 1 node in the monitoring section of land and soil quality, and 1 node in the section to control data or can be said to be a semi-server to give commands to 2 nodes offline. To see if the system still communicates with each other and runs according to the block diagram that has been designed, an Android application will be made to monitor the system. Where if there is a failed data update or data change in the results of the automation system, a notification will come out to check the system as a whole. To support this research, several sensor calibrations were carried out which resulted in an average accuracy level above 90 percent. For the overall system test, 10 experiments were carried out at different times to see the reliability of the system

Abstract

The internet is developing rapidly, especially in education (e-learning). Google Classroom is an e-learning platform that has been widely used for online learning. Google Classroom gets an average rating of 3.5 out of 5 on Google Play, so it is necessary to research to increase the application's rating based on user reviews with text mining. The data used in this study was 77,454 user reviews from Google Play. Data processing uses the Textblob and Naïve Bayes Classifier methods to determine user sentiment. The sentiment analysis results with a 70/30 split data yield an accuracy of 92.39%. Data with negative sentiments is then processed with the Association Rules method to find words used as problem keywords, which include keywords' assignment', 'upload,' 'submit,' 'file,' 'class,' 'notification,' and 'dark.' The word is then analyzed using a fishbone diagram to find the root cause. The root of the problems includes problems uploading files that are integrated with Google Drive, there is no setting to change the display to 'dark mode,' The user has a good internet connection, but the file upload process is slow, and so on. The recommendations for improvements are synchronizing file integration with Google Drive, changing the display to dark mode according to user preferences, and updating the application server so that the file upload process can be done more quickly.
