Abstract

The household should ideally be a safe environment for every family member; however, in reality, it often becomes a setting for domestic violence. This study aims to analyze gender bias in Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence using a library research method with a qualitative approach. Although enacted as an instrument of protection, the law is considered to still contain partialities that may potentially result in legal injustice. The findings indicate the presence of gender bias in five main aspects: the definition of domestic violence, protection obligations, criminal sanctions for perpetrators, victim handling mechanisms, as well as aspects of education and socialization. The law tends to focus primarily on the protection of women, thereby overlooking the protection rights of men or other family members who may also potentially become victims. In addition, the lack of adequate socialization programs hinders the elimination of gender bias in society. Therefore, legal reform that is more inclusive and equitable is necessary so that the legal framework can provide comprehensive protection for all family members without gender discrimination.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' character, particularly at Bakti Nusantara Health Vocational School. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at this school uses the Independent Curriculum, which allows teachers the freedom to adapt learning to suit their students' characteristics. Although the lecture method is still used, this method is often ineffective in maintaining student attention and participation. Therefore, Cooperative Learning methods are implemented, specifically the Group Investigation method, to increase student engagement and understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) material. This study aims to explore the application of Cooperative Learning methods in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and its impact on student motivation and understanding of the material. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the Cooperative Learning method successfully increased student engagement in learning. Students were more involved in discussions, sharing knowledge, and completing assignments together, which can deepen their understanding of religious values.

Abstract

Qur'an learning for early childhood requires methods that are in accordance with the characteristics of child development, which tend to need a gradual, repetitive, and enjoyable learning process, yet in practice, less than optimal learning is still found. This study aims to explore the implementation of the sequential method in Qur'an learning for early childhood at TPQ Assalam Belik, Pemalang, as well as to identify its effectiveness in improving reading skills and instilling religious character. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, with research subjects including educators, students, and institution managers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques, which include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the sequential method is applied in stages, starting from the introduction of hijaiyah letters, pronunciation exercises, up to reading simple Qur’an, and is considered effective because it suits the learning needs of early childhood. This method not only improves reading skills but also supports the formation of religious attitudes through habituation of religious values, with a high level of student involvement, thereby creating an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. However, there are obstacles such as limited facilities, suboptimal learning planning, and lack of family support. Thus, the sequential method can be an effective approach in early childhood Qur’an learning, provided there is optimal support from educators, facilities, and parental involvement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of learning the Quran from an early age as a foundation for reading fluently, fluently, and in accordance with the rules of tajweed. Early childhood is a golden period of development, so appropriate, engaging learning methods are needed that are tailored to the child's characteristics. This study aims to determine the application of the Qiro'ah method in Quran learning and its effectiveness in improving children's reading skills. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with subjects including TPQ administrators, teachers, parents, and students. The object of the study was the process of learning the Quran through the Qiro'ah method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques to obtain a comprehensive picture. The results indicate that the Qiro'ah method has significant potential for gradually improving children's Quran reading skills, particularly in aspects of pronunciation, fluency, and beauty of recitation. This method is effective because it is implemented regularly and repeatedly, and is tailored to the learning needs of early childhood, which requires a concrete, fun, and interactive approach. Besides being a basic method, Qiro'ah is also used as a follow-up to the Iqro method to improve reading fluency and embellishment. However, several obstacles exist, such as limited teaching staff, lack of teacher training, differences in student abilities, and economic factors affecting textbook availability. Other challenges stem from the low interest in learning among older children and the influence of gadgets. Despite this, learning continues to progress thanks to teacher creativity, parental support, and a conducive learning environment. The Qiro'ah method has the potential to be an effective strategy if supported optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the phenomenon of authority fragmentation in educational leadership and reconstruct the role of educational leaders toward a network-based and pre-adaptive leadership model in the early phase of digital disruption. The transformation occurring around 2016–2019 indicates a significant shift from hierarchical leadership structures to more open, collaborative, and network-oriented systems. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research by analyzing relevant academic literature. The findings reveal that digitalization has accelerated the fragmentation of authority, where influence and decision-making are no longer centralized but distributed across multiple network nodes. This condition requires a transformation from authority-based leadership to influence-based, collaborative, and connective leadership. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the importance of pre-adaptive leadership, which not only responds to change but also anticipates and prepares organizations for future uncertainties. The reconstruction of educational leadership roles includes functioning as network connectors, innovation facilitators, sense-makers, and change navigators. Therefore, leadership in the early digital disruption era is no longer defined by formal power but by the ability to build relationships, manage complexity, and drive collective change.

Abstract

This article explores the development of adaptive capacity in educational leadership as a strategic response to the accelerating forces of digital disruption and globalization. In an era characterized by rapid technological advancement, shifting knowledge paradigms, and increasing global interconnectivity, educational leaders are required to move beyond traditional administrative roles toward more dynamic, flexible, and responsive leadership practices. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptive leadership competencies, including digital literacy, strategic foresight, collaborative decision-making, and innovation-driven management in educational institutions. Using a conceptual approach based on literature review, this paper synthesizes key theories of educational leadership, digital transformation, and globalization to construct an integrated framework for adaptive leadership capacity. The findings suggest that effective educational leadership in the contemporary era depends on the ability to continuously learn, reconfigure institutional practices, and foster a culture of innovation and resilience within educational organizations. Furthermore, the article highlights that globalization intensifies the complexity of educational governance by introducing cross-cultural dynamics, policy shifts, and competitive knowledge economies. In response, adaptive educational leaders must act as change agents who bridge local educational values with global standards and technological advancements. The study concludes that strengthening adaptive capacity is essential for ensuring the sustainability and relevance of education systems in the digital-global era.
