Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Content Marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth on Purchase Decisions, using Customer Engagement as a mediating variable. The type of research used is a quantitative method with a causal approach. The population in this study is the entire community in Padang City who have shopped on the Blibli Platform and consumers who have seen information content or offers displayed on the Blibli Platform, with an unknown population size. The sample size in this study was 100 respondents using purposive sampling. The research instrument was measured using a 1-5 Likert scale. Data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, data verification, and data analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. Validity was assessed through convergent and discriminant validity, while reliability was measured using Alpha and Cronbach's Composite Reliability. The results of the study show that all direct and indirect hypotheses have a significant effect. These findings confirm that improving the quality of marketing content and positive e-WOM management, along with efforts to build sustainable consumer engagement, are effective strategies for increasing purchase decisions on the Blibli platform.

Abstract

This study examines the extent to which academic resilience and student engagement predict students’ learning outcomes in a vocational education context. Despite increasing attention to these factors, prior research has largely examined them separately and has focused more on general or higher education settings, leaving their combined role in vocational secondary education, particularly in developing countries, underexplored. Addressing this gap, this study adopts a quantitative approach with an explanatory design and was conducted at SMKN 1 Painan, West Sumatra, Indonesia. A total of 190 eleventh-grade students were selected from a population of 359 using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and school records and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that academic resilience and student engagement significantly predict students’ learning outcomes, both individually and simultaneously, explaining 37.9% of the variance. This study offers a distinct contribution by examining persistence in facing academic challenges and active participation in learning within a single analytical framework in a vocational education context. These findings imply that strengthening students’ persistence and promoting active involvement through interactive and practice-oriented learning strategies are essential for improving academic performance.

Abstract

The contractual status of Banpol PP personnel in Pariaman City inevitably triggers complex psychological work dynamics. This study aims to evaluate how job insecurity, additional income, and quality of work life collectively and individually determine employee performance. Employing a quantitative approach, this research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis with a total sample of 94 respondents. Findings: The empirical results indicate that all three variables exert a significant influence on performance. Interestingly, job insecurity uniquely functions as a challenge stressor that stimulates, rather than hinders, individual productivity. A strategic synergy between financial incentives and a supportive work atmosphere serves as an effective mechanism to mitigate the psychological strain caused by employment instability among personnel.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the determinants of access to financing among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Sumatra, with a particular focus on the roles of human resource capacity, business networking, and financial competence of MSMEs. Drawing on the Resource-Based View (RBV), this study positions human resource capacity and business networking as strategic resources, while financial competence is conceptualized as a strategic capability that enhances access to financial resources. This study employs a quantitative approach using a causal research design, with data collected from 120 culinary MSME actors in West Sumatra and analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that human resource capacity and business networking significantly influence financial competence and ease of access to financing. Furthermore, financial competence partially mediates the relationships between human resource capacity, business networking, and financing access. These findings highlight that improving human resource quality, strengthening business networking, and enhancing financial competence are important factors in increasing MSMEs’ access to financing.

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital gaming industry, particularly in the MOBA genre, has intensified competition and highlighted the importance of building long-term user loyalty. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand experience, engagement interaction, and impression on brand trust, brand love, and brand loyalty among Generation Z. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design through a survey of 150 respondents, analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that engagement interaction and impression have a significant effect on brand trust, while brand trust strongly influences brand love, which in turn drives brand loyalty. Although brand experience contributes to emotional attachment, this variable does not have a direct effect on trust. The study concludes that loyalty in the digital gaming industry is shaped by psychological and relational factors, particularly trust and emotional attachment, rather than solely by functional experience.

Abstract

Despite the significant potential of Islamic philanthropy, a structural gap persists in its integration into global economic reconstruction policies. This study aims to synthesize a contemporary framework of Islamic philanthropy that synergizes Sharia distributive principles with modern digital efficiency. Following PRISMA guidelines, an initial 17,858 Scopus-indexed records (2021–2026) were filtered down to a metadata framework of 1,044 core documents. Bibliometric analysis was executed via VOSviewer using full-counting keyword co-occurrence to construct network and density visualizations. To ensure deep contextual relevance for qualitative synthesis, a rigorous full-text screening based on strict exclusion criteria filtered the sample to a final 24 high-quality articles. Moving beyond descriptive analysis, the primary contribution of this study is the development of the 4ER Model (Economic Rescue, Recovery, Reinforcement, and Resilience). The model’s novelty lies in its structural, multi-phase operational design that dynamically transitions marginalized beneficiaries (mustahik) into socio-economic contributors (muzakki). The findings demonstrate that integrating ZISWAF with digital innovations like AI and fintech optimizes distribution transparency and quality control. Ultimately, this study contributes a systemic framework proving that sustainable economic reconstruction depends on utilizing Islamic social finance as a fundamental, non-conventional stabilizer to bridge the global SDG financing gap.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education should be understood not only as a means of building a business, but also as a transformative educational process. Therefore, this systematic review aims to examine entrepreneurship education in Indonesia: What is currently known? A systematic literature review of trends, research focuses, and research agendas. This paper adopts a systematic literature review in the ScienceDirect and Semantic Scholar databases from 2021 to 2026, using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA). Based on predetermined inclusion criteria, a total of 16 articles published between 2021 and 2026 were analyzed in-depth and systematically. This is because only 16 articles from that period aligned with the scope of this study on entrepreneurship education. The review’s findings indicate that entrepreneurship education plays a central role in shaping entrepreneurial competencies, intentions, and behaviors among students at various educational levels. The research findings confirm that experience-based pedagogical approaches, institutional support, and the integration of digital technology are key factors in enhancing the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education. This study is expected to contribute to fostering entrepreneurial intentions in developing competencies, innovative mindsets, and creating economic value in entrepreneurship education in Indonesia in the long term.

Abstract

The fast growth of the halal business has heightened interest in the factors influencing halal consumption behavior among Muslim costumers. This study examines the impact of religion, halal knowledge, attitudes and lifestyle on halal consumption behavior among Muslim students at Universitas Baitturrahmah who consistently utilize halal cosmetics items. A cross-sectional study, involving 250-woman students as respondents was conducted in Baiturrahmah university Padang, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using partial least square structural equating modeling (PLS-SEM) in Smart PLS, encompassing measurement evaluation and bootstrapped hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that religiosity, attitudes and lifestyle positively influence halal consumption behavior, suggesting that internalized religious commitment fosters consistent halal- oriented actions, favorable perceptions of halal cosmetics result in actual consumption, and value aligned daily routines promote halal purchasing. In contrast, halal knowledge does not exert a substantial direct influence on behavior. Indicating a knowledge-behavior gap when comprehension is not paired with reinforcing beliefs and practice. The research offers behavior framework and elucidates the significance of primary psychological, lifestyle, and religious influences in an Islamic university setting in a developing market.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Own-Source Revenue (PAD) and General Allocation Fund (DAU) on Capital Expenditure, and examines the Flypaper Effect phenomenon in districts/cities of West Sumatra Province during 2020–2024. Using a quantitative associative approach with panel data regression, the study covers 19 districts/cities (95 observations). Secondary data were obtained from BPS and DJPK. Model selection through Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests confirmed the Random Effects Model (REM) as the best estimator. Results show that: (1) PAD and DAU simultaneously have a significant effect on Capital Expenditure; (2) PAD partially has no significant effect; (3) DAU has a positive and significant effect; and (4) the Flypaper Effect is confirmed, as the DAU coefficient (1.073457) exceeds the PAD coefficient (0.003460) with PAD being insignificant. The model explains 52.34% of Capital Expenditure variation (Adjusted R² = 0.5234). These findings indicate that capital expenditures respond more to central government transfers than to Own-Source Revenue, reflecting strong fiscal dependence that is not yet aligned with fiscal decentralization goals. Local governments need to intensify tax collection, regional levies, and asset management to achieve sustainable fiscal self-reliance.
