Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) through cross-subject projects in building students’ character at MAN 3 Tanah Datar. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The population comprised all teachers and students directly involved in P5 implementation. A total sampling technique was applied to teachers, while purposive sampling was used for students, resulting in 100 student respondents actively participating in P5 activities. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale to capture respondents’ perceptions of planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes of P5. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical techniques. The findings indicate that P5 implementation at MAN 3 Tanah Datar has been generally well-executed across planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. P5 contributes positively to strengthening students’ independence, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and internalization of Pancasila values. However, variations in perceptions regarding the development of a positive school culture suggest the need for more consistent and sustainable implementation. Overall, the study highlights the potential of cross-subject P5 as an effective pedagogical approach for holistic character development and recommends strengthening stakeholder collaboration and continuity strategies for future practice.

Abstract

This study focuses on the variables of Islamic financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, and perceived ease of use that influence financial management behavior among Generation Z Paylater users in Tulungagung Regency, mediated by intention. This study presents a new innovation to discuss financial literascy, juxtaposed with Islamic principles in the implementation of Paylater and this idea is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior as its core theoretical foundation. In this study, there were 125 Generation Z respondents who were Paylater users residing in Tulungagung Regency. Questionnaire responses were analyzed utilizing the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach through the SmartPLS software. The findings indicate a connection between Islamic financial literacy and financial self-efficacy facilitated by an intermediary process and both positively influence intentions and financial management behaviors. Conversely, perceived ease of use shows no meaningful mediating effect and is associated with a negative relationship toward intention and financial management behavior.

Abstract

This research evaluates how the work atmosphere and job training influence employee retention in the restaurant sector in Malang City, with job satisfaction as a mediator and intrinsic motivation as a moderator. Adopting a quantitative explanatory design, the study employs the SEM-PLS analysis technique via SmartPLS 4. Primary data were gathered through questionnaires distributed to 149 employees chosen using a proportional stratified random sampling method. The findings indicate that the work atmosphere does not significantly affect employee retention, whereas job training does. Furthermore, job satisfaction serves as a mediator linking both work atmosphere and training to employee retention. Conversely, intrinsic motivation did not moderate the relationship between training and retention. Consequently, the study highlights the need to foster a supportive work environment, implement practical training, and boost job satisfaction to enhance staff retention in the restaurant service industry.

Abstract

This study addresses the research problem of fluctuating company value in the manufacturing sector amidst the post-pandemic recovery, specifically examining whether internal governance shifts and financial pressures influence investor perception. The research objective is to analyze the impact of management turnover and financial distress on company value, with auditor switching as a moderating variable. Using a purposive sampling method, 32 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange were selected, resulting in 160 observations over the 2020-2024 period. The analytical method employed was panel data regression using the Random Effect Model (REM), preceded by Chow, Hausman, and classical assumption tests. The key empirical results indicate that management turnover has no significant effect on company value. Conversely, financial distress and auditor switching exhibit a significant positive impact independently. These findings suggest that the market interprets distress as a "turnaround signal," where successful recovery triggers a significant upward price correction. However, auditor switching fails to moderate the relationship between the independent variables and company value. The research contribution lies in reinforcing Signalling Theory by demonstrating that transparency mechanisms and proactive crisis management are more valued by investors than leadership rotation. Practically, management is advised to prioritize operational recovery and strategic audit transparency to restore market confidence.

Abstract

This research objectives to examine the influence of Islamic intellectual capital and zakat funds on the firm value of Islamic banks in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with panel data of 16 Islamic banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period (80 observations), the analysis was conducted through panel data regression with model selection using the Chow and Hausman tests. The results showed that the best model was the Fixed Effect Model. Empirical findings reveal that Islamic intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on firm value, in line with the Resource-Based View perspective which emphasizes the importance of human capital, structural capital, and relational capital in creating competitive advantage. Zakat funds are also proven to have a significant positive effect on firm value, supporting the principle of Sharia Enterprise Theory that zakat accountability reflects the fulfillment of the principles of welfare, death, and benefit (maslahah) which are the basis for the operations of Islamic financial institutions. Simultaneously, both variables contribute 54.10% to the variation in firm value. These findings confirm that strengthening Sharia-based intellectual capacity and transparent zakat management play a role in increasing firm value and the competitiveness of Islamic banks. This research provides an important influence for Islamic bank management and regulators in developing policies to increase the value and sustainability of Islamic financial institutions.
