Abstract

The type of research conducted is quantitative. Determination of the research sample uses the Slovin formula for sampling. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires about service quality and customer satisfaction to 45 respondents using a Likert scale. It can be seen that service quality is a very important factor in ensuring customer satisfaction. Based on the concept of marketing and service management, service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, meaning that the better the quality of service provided by BRI Tobelo Branch (seen from the speed of service, friendliness of officers, accuracy of transactions, adequate facilities, and ease of access), the higher the level of customer satisfaction. On the other hand, a decrease in service quality will decrease customer satisfaction. Based on these positive influences, the implications are: Standardization of Service SOPs ensures that all frontliners have consistent service standards, Improving Employee Competence through communication training, complaint handling, and bank product literacy, Optimization of Physical & Digital Facilities improves the comfort of waiting rooms, speeds up queues, and improves the quality of e-banking services, Implementation of a Feedback System regularly measures customer satisfaction to detect areas that need improvement, Strengthening the Culture of Excellent Service builds the mindset of all employees that customer satisfaction is the main priority.

Abstract

Fermented pineapple juice beverage is a biotechnology product obtained through a natural fermentation process. This study aims to determine the effect of varying additions of mung bean sprout extract (tauge) on the organoleptic quality of fermented pineapple juice, including color, aroma, taste, and overall preference. The method used was a quantitative experimental design with four treatments: P0 (control, 1000 ml pineapple juice), P1 (750 ml pineapple juice + 250 ml sprout extract), P2 (500 ml pineapple juice + 500 ml sprout extract), and P3 (250 ml pineapple juice + 750 ml sprout extract). Organoleptic tests were conducted by 20 panelists using a 1–4 hedonic scale. The analysis results showed that treatment P3 received the highest scores for color (2.85) and aroma (2.00), indicating a slightly bright yellow color and an aroma still resembling pineapple. For taste and overall preference, treatment P1 received the highest scores with a taste score of 2.75 (moderately sweet to sweet) and a preference score of 3.15 (liked). It can be concluded that the addition of mung bean sprout extract (tauge) affects the organoleptic quality of fermented pineapple juice. Treatment P1 provided the best balance of aroma, taste, and panelist preference. The results suggest that a 3:1 ratio of pineapple juice to mung bean sprout extract (P1) can be recommended as the optimal formulation to enhance the nutritional value and flavor of fermented pineapple beverages.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to evaluate the level of public service responsiveness at the Class IIA State Detention Center (Rutan) in Ambon by examining five key aspects: speed, accuracy, satisfaction, precision, and accessibility of services. Responsiveness is a crucial indicator in assessing how well public services meet the needs and expectations of inmates and external stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner. The research was conducted at the Class IIA Detention Center in Ambon from February to April 2025. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with officers and inmates, direct observation of service processes, and a review of relevant administrative documents and internal policies. The data were analyzed using the interactive model, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that service responsiveness still faces several challenges. Officers are not yet able to fully respond to inmates’ requests quickly and in a timely manner, leading to delays in meeting their needs. While some inmates expressed satisfaction, complaints persist regarding limited facilities and long waiting times. Inaccuracies in the delivery of information and service execution continue to affect the overall quality of service. Additionally, access to services remains inadequate, particularly for external stakeholders. This study recommends optimizing digital-based service systems, enhancing the capacity and competence of service personnel, and strengthening supervision of service procedures. These efforts are expected to improve the quality of public services to be more responsive, accurate, and aligned with the needs of service users.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of preventing election vulnerability by the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) based on the provisions of Article 94 paragraph (1) of Law Number 7/2017 concerning Elections. Election vulnerability is an instrument of early detection of potential disturbances that can hinder the implementation of elections that are luber (direct, general, free, secret) and jurdil (honest and fair). This vulnerability includes various forms of violations such as money politics, SARA campaigns, intimidation, data manipulation, and non-neutrality of state apparatus. In the context of public organizations, strategy is understood as a structured and adaptive long-term plan, designed to effectively face external challenges. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the role and implementation of Bawaslu's duties in the context under study. By using the Bawaslu chairperson as the key informant and Bawaslu members as additional informants, this research was able to comprehensively explore information from sources who have authority and direct experience in the implementation of election supervision. The data collection methods used, namely observation, interviews and documentation, provide strong data triangulation to increase the validity of the research results. The results showed that through civil society involvement, political education, and cross-sector cooperation, the prevention strategy implemented by Bawaslu is expected to minimize the potential for violations and strengthen participatory democracy. Thus, Bawaslu plays a strategic role in realizing quality elections that are free from various forms of vulnerability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented of the Yogyakarta Regional Police in preventing disciplinary violations, particularly in the context of law enforcement duties. Disciplinary violations committed by police officers not only cause internal harm to the institution but also negatively impact the public image of the police and diminish public trust in the law enforcement system. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a normative-empirical method. The findings indicate that the Yogyakarta Regional Police have implemented several preventive strategies, including mental and religious development programs, enhancement of internal supervision, personnel rotation, and the strict enforcement of disciplinary sanctions. Although these strategies have contributed to a decline in the number of violations in recent years, their implementation still faces several challenges, such as limited human resources, suboptimal hierarchical supervision, and inconsistent enforcement of sanctions. This study recommends strengthening technology-based supervision systems, enhancing the capacity of supervisory personnel, and encouraging active leadership involvement in fostering a sustainable culture of discipline and professionalism.

Abstract

The breakdown of cooperation between regional leaders is one of the problems in the direct election system in the era of regional autonomy. This is not only evident at the provincial level, involving governors and their deputies, but also at the regency and city levels, involving regents and their deputies, as well as mayors and their deputies. The most reasonable explanation for this breakdown of cooperation is the struggle for influence between regional leaders and their deputies. Both claim to have contributed to winning the election. Another factor that influenced Djohermansyah Johan's report in mediaindonesia.com was that of the 244 regional elections held in 2010, 862 or 94% of regional head and deputy regional head pairs elected in the regional elections broke up. Only 6.15% or 52 pairs of regional heads and deputy regional heads remained harmonious and returned for a second term. This indicates that the results of the regional elections have not produced solid and qualified leaders. Pairs running in the second term of the Pilkada include those in North Maluku. There are three pairs of regional heads and deputy regional heads, including the Regent and Deputy Regent of North Halmahera. The results of the study show that the regional heads and deputies in North Halmahera Regency were able to maintain harmonious governance until the second term because they were able to maintain the boundaries of their authority and the social capital possessed by each candidate pair.
