Abstract

Employee's performance is not optimal due to several factors, including compensation, motivation and organizational culture. PT. Nasmoco Pemuda is an enterprise engaged in commerce or services. In its development, the volume of sales from year to year has been fluctuating and declining employee performance. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the influence of compensation, motivation and organizational culture on employee performance. Type of research is explanatory research. The hypothesis is that the compensation (X1), motivation (X2), organizational culture (X3) have a significant impact on employee performance (Y). The conclusion of this study is compensation, motivation, and organizational culture at PT. Nasmoco Pemuda classified as good. The test results show that compensation, motivation, and organizational culture have a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

High competition is increasing in the marketing sphere specifically in the context of banking products. It determines the increase marketing activity therefore it is able either to maintain or to increase banking customer. The acts is by feature in quality of service and increase in qualityof customer satisfication’s rate. There is fluctuation  in the amount of customer Bank Mandiri Semarang in Branch-Pandanaran from 2005-2010. The goals of this inquiry is to find out the influence of equality of service and customer satification on customer loyality. The amount of population is 7517 people as customer and the sample of this inquiry is taken in 100 people based on purposive sampling technic. The data be analysed quanitatively and qualitatively using validity test, reability test, cross tab, and simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression, correlation test, F-test, and also utility determination’s correlation with SPSS software. Statistic data calculation shows that equation of simple linier regression between quality of service toward loyality of customer is Y = 1.078 + 0.255X1. Equation of simple linier regression between quality of service towards loyality of customer is Y = 0.549 + 0.565X2.. Equity of simple linier regression between quality of service towards customer’s satisfication is Z = 3.656 + 0.420X. From each of the equity, it can be found out that there is positif determination/influence partially in between variables X  towards variables Y. As multiple linear regression showed Y = 0.259 + 0.161X + 0.224Z, therefore can be found out that both of variables X have positif determination  towards variable Y. Hypothesis test shows that variable quality of service and customer’s satisfication have positif determination towards variable customer’s loyality. This refer to tcalculation all of variables is bigger than ttabel that is 1,661. Variable of quality of service has tcalculation 11.944. Variable of satisfication’s customer has tcalculation 11.549. Whereas from F-test can be acquired Fcalculation 75.505. All variables be tested with signification rate 5 %. Therefore the hypothesis can be accepted. From this inquiry, conclusion can be gotten that quality of service and customer’s satisfication is good enough. In order to increase loyality of customer Bank Mandiri in Branch- Pandanaran, its necessary to maintain and increase rate of cleanness both either in waiting room or toilet, to increase security level waiting room, and also to give clarity of information to customers about security’s quarantee of fundary of customer in Bank Mandiri in Branch- Pandanaran.

Abstract

Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia (KPRI) “Mardisantosa” is one entity that aims to improve the welfare of its members in Kebumen, its activities include the areas of loan, shops and photocopy services. Management tried to achieve a return in line with expectations, for that management needs to take proper discretion in investing the funds available so that they can achieve the expected liquidity and profitability, and ultimately be able to improve the efficiency of working capital. but in reality KPRI “Mardisantosa” have not been able to manage their finances efficiently. Based on these conditions, then conducted research on ratio analysis of liquidity, profitability and working capital efficiency at KPRI "Mardisantosa" period 2006-2010. Research objective is to determine the level of liquidity, profitability and efficiency of working capital at KPRI "Mardisantosa". The method used descriptive analysis of data retrieval in time series of the consolidated balance sheet income statement in the period 2006 to 2010, and the Annual Members Meeting report KPRI "Mardisantosa". Techniques of data collection is through secondary data and documentation. Other sources of data acquired from the KPRI "Mardisantosa". Data were analyzed quantitatively by using the liquidity ratio, profitability, working capital turnover ratio and working capital efficiency. Results showed that the ratios for five-year cooperative liquidity is relatively high. Achieved the highest liquidity ratio is 383.33% Current Ratio, Quick Ratio 314.33%, and Net Working to Total Assets amounted to 68.56%. Cooperative profitability ratio is relatively low over the past five years, the highest rate of return is achieved ROE of 6.84% and ROA of 3.41%, while the lowest is at 3.34% ROE and ROA of 1.83%. Net Working Capital Turnover cooperatives tend to be very low, for five years of Net Working Capital Turnover reached the highest cooperatives times are 1.37 and 0.55 times the lowest. There is excess working capital during the study period. During the five-year working capital turnover is relatively low and has a working capital surplus that indicate inefficient use of working capital. The conclusion of this study is that for five years the cooperative has a working capital surplus, or inefficient use of working capital. Liquidity during the five-year relative good enough so in adequate condition, in relatively low profitability and working capital turnover is relatively low so that the maximum profit is less cooperative and there have not been empowered working capital efficiently. The advice given is KPRI "Mardisantosa" need to seek working capital as required, control spending or operating expenses to gain more leverage.

Abstract

Work discipline and leadership are factors supporting factor for achieving good performance. PT. Pustaka Rizki Putra Semarang is a company engaged in printing, always providing the best in order to compete. Therefore, it is need of human resources with good performance. In the course of its business activities can not be separated from the problem pinangkatan employee performance by increasing work discipline and leadership. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and leadership on employee performance. Type of research is explanatory. In the study population there were 30 people and all samples used by census. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, literature study. Data analysis method used is correlation, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The conclusion of this research is the discipline of work and leadership at PT. Pustaka Rizki Putra Semarang is good. Test results with SPSS shows that discipline and leadership have a significant impact on employee performance either simultaneously or partially. Suggestions can be submitted is working discipline should be more attention to the company should be increased. The conclusion of this study is compensation, work environment, workload and leadership on the Main PT Windika quite good. SPSS test result shows that the compensation, work environment, workload and leadership significantly influence job satisfaction either simultaneously or partially. The suggestion that the company should be given more attention is the level of employee discipline. For example, by giving rewards both tangible and intangible for employees to improve disciplin.

Abstract

There are many factors affecting consumer before they decide to purchase something at store. The factors are coming from outside dan inside of consumer which are common known as external factors and internal factors. There are kind of external factors such as location, product, price, service quality and promotion come from the store or seller. The Top Brand Award achievement to Gramedia Bookstore on last three years are showing that Gramedia Bookstore is the top of mind bookstore in Indonesia. This achievement be a self motivation to Gramedia Bookstrore to keep it from the competitors, including at Semarang. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors affecting purchase decision of Gramedia Bookstore consumer in Semarang. Type of this research is explanatory research. The sample of this research are 150 people. The sampling technique is using a purposesive sampling. The data were collected by using the questioner which are spread to three Gramedia Bookstore in Semarang. There were 50 poeple every bookstore. The data obtained were analyzed using analytical tools such as simple linear regression, linear regression testing and statistical test using t test and F test by using the SPSS 19 program. The research conclusions obtained indicated that factors such as location, product, price, service quality, promotion are simultaneously significant affecting the purchase decision of consumer at Gramedia Pandanaran and Pemuda. But aren’t simultaneously significant at Gramedia Java Supermall. The most dominant factors affecting purchase decision at Gramedia Pandanaran and Java Supermall is service quality. At Gramedia Pemuda, product is the most dominant factors affecting purchase desicion.

Abstract

The development of business transportation is increasing rapidly. It means the company to compete in providing the best service to achieve the satisfaction of passangers. The research was carried out at PT. Cipaganti Citra Graha Otojasa Semarang with object Shuttle & Travel. From the data of visitors Cipaganti been no complaints of visitors related to vehicles, facilities, and services. This study aims to determine the level of passenger satisfaction for the quality of service Shuttle & Travel Cipaganti, consisting of attributes reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. Type the study is a descriptive analytic. The data used in this study is primary data obtained using data collection instruments such as questionnaires and guiding Question. The population in this study were all passengers Shuttle & Travel Semarang, the sample of 100 respondents who used the technique purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used in this study is the Importance and Performance Analysis (Analysis of Importance and Performance / Satisfaction). Based on the Importance and Performance Analysis, it could be concluded that the average total for the dimensions of service quality are included in the category compatible. This shows performance service of Cipaganti that have been in compatible with the expectation of passengers. Advice can be given to the company is to improve service performance Cipaganti deemed important by visitors but still received less attention than the company as a driver order, speed of service, ease of contacting officers, and officers in communication skills.

Abstract

Bank as a company have their health assessed to determine the condition of the bank. Least healthy financial performance of banks can be seen through the performance of the bank's profitability. The ratio is important for bank profitability is return on assets (ROA). Data from the period 2009-2010 the average ROA bank has shown a good value with a standard sound bank is above 1.5%. However, the ROA between the bank and the private limited company visible difference, namely the value of the bank's ROA persero higher than private banks. ROA is the high and low values ​​are caused by several factors such as differences in the ratio of the associated CAR, NPL, and the LDR. The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), non-performing loans (NPL), and the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) to the Return On Asset (ROA) of the National Private Banks Foreign exchange go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period research from 2009 to 2010. The analytical method used is a simple regression test to test partially the significance test using t test and regression test to simultaneously test for the significance test using the F test, which previously made ​​the assumption of classical test analysis techniques first. Object of this study is a national private commercial bank foreign exchange 2009-2010. Number of samples used were 24 banks in the sample. With certain criteria that companies belonging to banking in commercial banks to go public and has published its financial statements in the year 2009-2010. Results and discussion indicate that the NPL variables significantly influence the ROA, while the CAR and the LDR variable is not significant to the ROA. While based on the results of simultaneous hypothesis tests (F test) showed that the CAR, NPL, and the LDR has a significant effect on ROA with a significance level of 0.000. Adjusted R2 values ​​obtained in the regression model of 0.835. This suggests that the major influence of the independent variable is CAR, NPL, and the LDR of the dependent variable (ROA) of 83.5% while the remaining 16.5% influenced by other factors. In addition the value of R2 is the R2 value of 0.835 indicates if it is getting closer to a variable - the independent variable (CAR, NPL, and LDR) the stronger influence in explaining the dependent variable (ROA). Overall conclusions of the independent variables studied, the ratio of the greatest influence on the dependent variable is the ratio of NPLs at 82.6% and showed a significant effect of t -14.597 0.000 with significance. It means that the greater the ratio of Non Performing Loan (NPL) cause Return On Asset (ROA) is getting smaller at a bank. Proposed research should better supervise banking companies and credit funds in order to monitor the use of non-performing loans ratio remained at a healthy category so as to avoid the problem of bad loans.

Abstract

Customers buying behavior of a product is influenced by many factors. Every individual has the desire and taste different. Product quality is a factor that is very influential on purchase decisions, other than that there are many more factors that influence the buying behavior. This study aims to how much influence product quality, price, and promotion of their product purchasing decisions Yamaha Mio motorcycle and know the variables that have a dominant influence on purchase decisions Yamaha Mio motorcycle products to the public in the area of Semarang.Type is the type of research that used explanatory research. Samples were taken at 98 respondents that consumers who use Yamaha Mio motorcycle and make purchases at Harpindo Jaya branch of Majapahit. Determination of the sample with accidental sampling technique. Mechanical analysis of the data using linear regression analysis. Based on these results it can be concluded that: (a) there is a positive and significant effect on the variable quality of the product, (b) there is a positive and significant effect on the price variables, (c) there is a positive and significant impact on the promotion of the purchase decision variables Yamaha Mio. And who has the greatest influence is variable product quality. Hypothesis testing shows that the influence of product quality, price, and promotion of their purchasing decisions Yamaha Mio. The coefficient of determination for the variable quality of the product (X1), price (X2), and Promotion (X3) is 85.4% to the buying decision, while 14.6% Harpindo Jaya influenced other factors.PT. Harpindo Jaya should further enhance the promotion through electronic media and print media so that consumers always remember the product being offered. Prices were terjagkau and still maintain the quality must be maintained in order to remain in the interest of consumers.

Abstract

: PT Pertamina (Persero) Unit Pemasaran IV merupakan BUMN yang bergerak di bidang usaha minyak dan gas bumi, serta kegiatan usaha lain yang terkait dengan tujuan profit. Kinerja karyawan merupakan salah satu ukuran yang sering dipakai dalam menentukan efektivitas organisasi. Sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan tidak akan dapat berkembang apabila kinerja karyawannya juga tidak mengalami peningkatan apalagi dengan semakin tingginya tingkat persaingan yang ada dalam dunia bisnis. Motivasi dan pelatihan kerja mempunyai pengaruh dalam peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu kedua hal tersebut perlu diperhatikan oleh perusahaan dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja karyawannya. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT PERTAMINA (Persero) UPms IV Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan explanatory research terhadap 57 responden yang diambil dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasar hasil analisis diketahui ada pengaruh positif antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja, dengan koefisiensi determinasi sebesar 71,8%. Ada pengaruh positif antara pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 63,5%. Ada pengaruh positif antara motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 78,6%. Semakin tinggi tingkat motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

BPR Restu Artha Makmur is one of the companies that provide banking services. In order to achieve better corporate goals, management companies need to increase employee productivity. One aspect that can be done is by providing a fair and adequate compensation to all employees and providing a work environment that supports. Although the company has provided good compensation and good working environment, but employee productivity has not maximized yet. Problems in this study were decreased employee productivity seen from the employee's performance appraisal data does not match the target has accepted by the company. Research purposes to determine the effect of compensation and working environment on the productivity of employees. This type of research is explanatory research with a sample of 40 respondents taken by using saturated sampling techniques. Measurement scale with a Likert scale. Data was collected by interview using questionnaires. In the analysis of test data using simple linear regression test and multiple regression test with SPSS 16.0 program. While hypothesis testing using t and F test. The results explain that the compensation provided by corporate was enough good, work environment by corporate was enough good, and work productivity of employees was good. But there are few respondents who said that compensation and working environment that is not good. Compensation has a positive influence to work productivity of employees with a correlation coefficient of 0.683 and coefficient of determination of 46.7%, and the work environment has a positive influence to work productivity of employees with a correlation coefficient of 0.713 and coefficient of determination of 50.9%. Both compensation and work environment together have a significant influence to work productivity of employees with a correlation coefficient of 0.797 and coefficient of determination of 63.5% with the equation Y = 3.942 + 0.541X1 + 0.274X2. Conclusion, compensation and work environment have a positive effect on employee work productivity. There are few employees who claim that the application of the provision of compensation and work environment is poor. Suggestions for the company, should improve good and right providing appropriate compensation and working environment to the employees work productivity better than before.
