Abstract

The success of an organization in achieving the objectives that have been set are determined by the quality of the people who work in it or that we call with top management, middle management, and line management as well as the usual non managerial we call with employees. In an organization or company, we often hear the term job satisfaction, work discipline in which both these factors is one of the causes of poor performance or deciding whether an employee's work. The question in this research is whether there are effects of job satisfaction of Accomplishment Work, is there any influence of the discipline of work against the Working Achievements, as well as whether there are effects of job satisfaction and Work towards the Accomplishment of work Discipline. Type this research is explanatory research that is research that observing the relationship between variables and test the hypothesis that has been formulated. The technique of collecting data use sampling saturates ( census ) with the population is all the employees CV. Jaya Motor Semarang of 45 people. Test the validity of, using data analysis test reliabilities, linear regression simple, worship of idols, linear regression a coefficient determination, test t, test f, with the help of program SPSS for windows version 17. The result of the research is as follows: There is a significant positive influence between satisfaction work on work performance where t count as much as ( 10.972 ) > t a table ( 1,680 ), and there is a significant positive influence between discipline work on work performance where t count as much as ( 7.454 ) > t a table ( 1,680 ). There is a significant positive influence between satisfaction of work and discipline work on work performance where f count ( 70.579 ) > f a table ( 3.220 ). A coefficient determination to variable satisfaction work ( X1 ) and discipline work ( X2 ) accounts for as much as 77.1 % for the work performance while 22.9 % influenced by other factors. Based on the research inconclusive satisfaction of work and discipline work have leverage significantly to work performance so that hypothesis accepted. Means if satisfaction of work and discipline work offered better, then work performance will increase. While companies to set satisfaction work is more like to fit the purchasing power of consumers. Advice given to CV. Jaya Motor Semarang is in giving maximum service to consumers, should increase response will complaints, so can increase consumer confidence to business. Company can also provides opportunities to employees to in education and exercises about service the car, held by inside and outside country.

Abstract

To ensure the continuity of business, a company should attempt to maintain customer's loyalty. maintaining customer's loyatly is not as easy as it looks, one of factor that influence the customer's loyalty is customer satisfaction. customer's satisfaction play an important role to maintain a continuity of business so it can face the rivalry. there are some factors to shape customer's satisfaction and create customer's loyalty. price is one amongst them, where a suitable price with its advantages can create customer's satisfaction and so followed by customer's loyalty. beside price, a good service quality or as what customer expect can also create customer's satisfactiom. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of price and service quality to consumer loyalty through customer satisfaction of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia customers. the sample of this research is 100 respondents with purposive sampling approach technique. data analysis method that been used are validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determinant, simple and multiple regressionsignificance test (T test and F test) using SPSS version 21.0 and Sobel Test with Preacher Tool. The results of this study indicate that the price category of 48% is appropriate. Service quality category known as 58% stated good. The customer satisfaction category known as 40% is satisfied. Categorization of customer loyalty is known by 47% is loyal. From the data analysis results, it is known that price and service quality have a significant influence on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty variables. Price variables that affect customer loyalty through customer satisfaction occur full mediation (full mediation) and a variable service quality that is affect customer loyalty through customer satisfaction occurs partial mediation (partial mediation). Suggestions that can be given is that PT. Telekomunikasi Indonsia Semarang is promoting the advantages of IndiHome products from other broadband, accelerating employees in handling problems faced by customers, employees prioritizing customer interests by better understanding customer desire.

Abstract

Investors have to make the right decision to invest. Investors can analyze the condition of the company by looking at its financial performance. This research was conducted to examine the effect of variable of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TAT), Return on Assets (ROA), and Price Earning Ratio (PER) of the Stock Return, either partially or simultaneously at retail companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014.This research is an explanatory research with 22 companies as population and the number of sample that examined after passed the purposive sampling phase is 12 companies. The results of regression analysis shows that the variable of Total Asset Turnover (TAT), Return on Assets (ROA), and Price Earning Ratio (PER) partially give significant effect on stock returns, while the variable of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER ) partially give no effect on stock returns. These five variables used in this study (CR, DER, TAT, ROA, and PER) simultaneously affect 58% to the stock return.Investors need to be cautious in making investments, the Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) that are too high tends to pose a risk. Whereas the Total Asset Turnover (TAT), Return on Assets (ROA), and Price Earning Ratio (PER) may be used by investors as a parameter to measure the performance of the company to predict stock returns.

Abstract

The number of retail markets in Semarang which getting larger lead into business completion among them. It made the costumer has many choices to change their preference in choosing the retail markets. Carrefour is one of modern retail markets in Semarang which categorize as hypermarket. Because of many business competitors which had more decent atmosphere, more strategic area, and cheaper price the amount sales in Carrefour was decrease in line with the rate of costumer debit in 2014-2016.The objective of this study was to discove the influence of store atmosphere, location and price on the repurchase intention of the costumer Carrefour DP Mall Semarang. This study is an explanatory research. The method of data collection used in this study was accidental sampling. There are 100 respondents as the sample of this research. The data was analyzed through validity test, reliability test, crosstab, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linier regrestion, double linier regrestion, t test, F test by using IBM SPSS version 16.0.Based on the analyzed result, it can be concluded that there was a significant positive influence among store atmosphere, location and price on costumer repurchase intention partially and simultaneously. The suggestion which could be give to the Carrefour DP Mall Semarang is to redesign the display and the decoration inside the shop to be more attractive and considering the Price of some ítems which might be higher tan the competitor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and examine the effect of product, price, and promotion to the Toyota Yaris purchasing decisions on PT. Nasmoco Gombel Semarang. This study uses explanatory research approach to the 94 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling method.Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using linear regression analysis. Based on the results of analysis variables influence product purchasing decision variable at 64.9%. Variables affect the price of the purchase decision variable of 93.3%. Promotion variable influence on purchase decisions 74.8%. Taken together the variables of product, price and promotion influence on purchase decisions of 94.9%. The better the product, the price is cheap, and attractive promotions then the higher the purchasing decision. Suggestion for the company, the company should keep perform periodic evaluation and improvement so that the product in the eyes of consumers better than other similar products. Companies must keep a decent price for the consumer that is based on income levels and competition, keep frequent and interesting promotion

Abstract

This research was motivated by the increasing of SMEs omzet cause Batik development. Batik SMEs of Pati Regency and Semarang District are potential to thrieve but the sales is fluctuate and not achieving the sales target has been set. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation toward marketing performance through innovation in Batik SMEs of Central Java. Type of research is explanatory with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. Population is Batik SMEs of Pati Regency and Semarang District. Samples are 76 owners Batik SMEs of Pati District and Semarang Regency. Technique of sampling using saturated sampling or census This study uses quantitative analysis techniques using validity, reliability test, the correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the determination coefficient, significance test (t test) in one direction, regression 2 stages, and Sobel test using A.F. Hayes program. The results of the study are positive effect of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation partially on innovation, and innovation positive effect to performance marketing. Regression analysis is known that the two stages of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation influence on innovation with a coefficient of 0.166 and 0.739. Innovation on the performance of marketing at 0.464. Further Innovation acts as a partial mediating variable.

Abstract

The company as an organization that has a goal to generate profits is inseparable from the role of marketing strategies in the company, including purchasing decisions. This research was conducted as a decline in sales at Mr. K Cafe in 2017, so we have to know what factors that influence the purchase decision. This study aims to determine consumer perceptions of price, product quality, location, and purchase decision of Mr. K Cafe, and then to determine the effect of price, product quality, and location against purchasing decision on Mr. K Cafe. The research data was collected from 100 Mr. K Cafe consumers who live in Semarang City. The type of research is explanatory research. The technique of sampling is non probability sampling based on purposive sampling method. The result of the research showed that the price influence the purchase decision at the amount 27,9%. Product quality influence the purchase decision at the amount 74,3%. Location influence the purchase decision at the amount 19,7%. Meanwhile, simultaneously price, product quality, and location influence the purchase decision at the amount 76,9% while the rest 23,1% influenced by the other factor beside price, product quality, and location. Based on the calculation of F Test shows that there is a positive influence between price, product quality, and location to purchasing decison. It is means the cheaper the price, the better the quality of product, and the more strategic the location, the higher purchasing decisions of food and drinks at Mr. K Cafe. In addition, product quality has the most dominant influence with regression coefficent value of 0,948. Suggestion in this research is to adjust the price of the product with the serving portion. In terms of product quality both taste and variety of products must be upgraded and improved. Moreover in terms of the location, it is need to improve access road to location.

Abstract

Business activities are required to be alert to the global economy. The Fact as a motivation for people who engage in business activities, work and be able to create more advanced economies are better able to compete with other countries. Motivation is an important subject for managers because managers work through and with others. act as the driving motivation willingness and desire to work according to measurements and the desired limits. In addition to motivation, employee performance is also influenced by the work discipline. Where discipline is a person's awareness and willingness to comply with all company regulations and social norms in force. But in fact a high motivation to work without being followed with discipline can interfere with the performance of the employee in the employee productivity. This research intended to find out the effect of motivation and discipline on the performance of employees of PT. New Ratna Motor Semarang. This research used random sampling proporsionate techniques with 63 respondents.Analysis is conducted cross tabulation analysis, correlation, multiple regression, testing the coefficient of determination and tests of significance. From the regression analysis equation Y = 2.821 + + 0,142X2 0,339X1. Where the performance variable (Y), motivation (X1), and the Discipline of Work (X2). Hypothesis testing using a significance test showed that the two independent veriabel studied was shown to significantly affect the performance dependent variable.Respondents said about performance of employee it’s good and some employee having a mistake to finish the job and  they don’t have inisiatif to solve it. The company have a solution to complete the target and finishing a job in overtime. Motivation and discipline are high enough to have effect on the performance of employees of PT. New Ratna Motor Semarang. In addition to these two factors it is worth reviewing the company concerned and the factors or other variables related and significant effect on the performance of employees such as leadership, compensation, organizational culture, work environment, and work productivity. These factors are calculated can improve the performance of employees, so that the quality and quantity of work expected of employees in accordance with the company.

Abstract

Laptop is a device that is very important because it helps every individual the usual deals to the technology of such students and college students to make it easier in carrying out almost every task .Acer always top ranked the top brand in an index on 2013-2015 year. However in three years the percentage of the acer decline every year though still be ranked first. This is caused by the increasing number of competitors who give a lower price and promotion that has intensively by a competitor. So as to make the community switch to using a competitor products.Type of this research is explanatory research, with a population of about 100 respondents who buy and use laptop brand acer. The sample collection to research it uses non-probablility sampling. Technique the sample collection use purposive sampling. Data collected through the questionnaire. The method of analysis the data used the use of tabulating cross, correlation, regression, regression simple, and multiple regression by using application SPSS.This study conclude that price and promotion influential of the decision the purchase, whether partial and a stimulant, variable promotion have more impact of variable price.Based on it, researchers suggest that company acer have to increase back promotion acer that consumers know that laptop acer is laptop numer one in Indonesia and also reevaluate them the prices offered has appropriate or not

Abstract

Commonly, every company in running its operational activity requires supported factor that to achieve good performance and high productivity.  Human resources is one of the most important factors, because in the absence of good quality of the role of quality human resources, company activities will not be implemented optimally. To achieve a company goals, employees need motivation to improve performance. In addition motivation factor of work, the need for training as a process that complement of workers to get knowledge with specialized skills. This study was conducted to determine the effect of training on motivation to performance of the production employees case studies on women workers in PT. Ungaran Sari Garment Unit Pringapus.  In this study the data obtained using the technique of random sampling with sample determination that is done with the formula in the opinion of Slovin as many as 98 respondents.                Analysis that conducted is multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing via t-test and F-test, the coefficient of determination and cross-tabulations. From the analysis of regression the equation result is Y = 6.040 + 0,097X1+ 0,275X2. Where the performance variable (Y), motivation (X1), and training (X2). Hypothesis testing using t test and F test showed that the two independent veriabel studied was shown to significantly affect the performance dependent variable.                Suggestion that proposed by author, among others, should emphasize the importance of regulating others, reach a future in the company, seeking feedback in the work and the opportunity to achieve the goals (ideals) life / work. Moreover, the authors also suggested to maintain the achievements of training that already good and reduce the error rate in the work by analyzing mistakes that often in job then provide specific training to employees about the mistakes often made when the employee works.
