Abstract

The use of gas for the domestic sector especially in Java island, is the largest consumer center in Indonesia. Natural gas providers  face the main challenge of providing adequate supplies to meet the increasing demand. The BUMN company that sells and distributes its products in the form of natural gas in Central Java is the PGN Semarang sales area. As a company engaged in the service sector, a good strategy is needed so that the company can carry out all operational activities more efficient and effective.This study aims to analyze the National Gas Company business strategy (study at the Semarang PGN sales area). The type of research is qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collection technique by interviewing interviewees and direct observation. The number of speakers is 4 speakers, who are Head area and employees of the Semarang PGN sales area who are also the strategists. The results showed that the strategy developed by PGN Sales Area Semarang was the result of a SWOT Analysis based on alternative strategis. The implementation of the strategy implemented and obtained from the SWOT results has been effective because it is in accordance with the vision, the availability of HR (Human Resources), facilities and infrastructure that support PGN. Although there are several obstacles in implementing its strategy, PGN Sales Area Semarang is committed to continue to improve the implementation of its strategy in the distribution of natural gas in Semarang.Suggestions for this research are the addition of CNG fleet in meeting natural gas needs, increase distribution of gas sales due to gas supply continuity, increase and improve the size for the effectiveness of strategy implementation, socializing the use of BBG to the public, provide excellent service to customers, doing routine monitoring and evaluation related to ths implementation of PGN's business development strategy.

Abstract

PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of financial services the largest and has the most extensive network in Indonesia. PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia has also been successfully serving the financial needs of the Indonesian people’s for 119 years. PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk in providing services to their customers should be as optimal as possible so that they are satisfied. But in reality there is no indication of customer dissatisfaction over the quality of services provided by BRI Unit Ngesrep Semarang.The purpose of the research was to determine the extent to which the level of customer satisfaction BRI Unit Ngesrep Semarang on the quality of services provided to customers. The type of this research is descriptive analytical. The sample in this research were 98 respondents who are customers of savings simpedes at PT. BRI (Persero) Tbk Unit Ngesrep Semarang. The research data was collected using interview techniques, while the research instrument using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Importance and Performance Analysis.            Based on the Importance and Performance Analysis, then be conclusion that the average total for the dimension of quality of service is 86,27 % include in the category are satisfied.Advice can be given for the company is to maximize the suggestion box, improving the condition of the parking BRI Unit Ngesrep Semarang, increase comfort lounge area and increase the speed of the queuing system.

Abstract

Retaining employees is becoming a necessity for companies today. The participation of the employees role encourages employees to taste will have company so not difficult for employees to maintain the quality of the resulting product. Besides career development can add to the sense og belonging will be of the company. Compensation received influence on intention to stay of employees in the company. Think about employees, welfare and increase facilities will be the added value of the company. The proposed hypothesis there is the influence of employee participation, career development and compensation received against the intention to stay the production employees of PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. This type of research is explanatory research. The technique of sampling is Probaility Sampling. A type of Simple Random Sampling with the sample as much as 91 respondents as well as. The questionnaire as an instrument of research, methods of analysis used in this study using linear regression analysis with the help og 21.0 SPSS For Windows. The results showed that employee participation variables have significant effents (partial) against the intention to stay amounted to 7,4%. Career development variables have significant effects (partial) against the intention to stay amounted to 8,2%. The compensation has significant effects (partial) against the intention to stay by 10%. Employee participation, Career development and compensation received has significant effects (partial) against the intention to stay amounted to 15,2%. Based on the research results, then it is recommended that the company increase the compensation by better in facilities, besides giving more opportunities for employees to be able to develop a career and be more active in rate the participation of employees. Through this expected level of intention to stay at PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill will increase.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of today's business world, the more visible the role of human resource management in an effort to grow the business. In the past two  years,  quantity of product below the standard in PJ. Muria Jaya Kudus keep increasing. So company must maintance the employee performance in order to reach company goals. This study aims to determine the influence of variable work environment, work ability and compensation on the performance of the production employees PJ Muria Jaya Kudus. This study population are permanent employees of the production, amounting to 38 people. This study uses census approach, where all members of the population be respondents. Measurement scale using a Likert scale. In the analysis of data using simple linear regression test and regression test with SPSS 20.00. The results showed that the work environment have a positive effect on employee performance, work ability have a positive effect on employee performance, and compensation have a positive effect on employee performance. work environment, work ability, and compensation are jointly contributing positively towards employee performance. Based on the results of this study concluded that the work environment, employability and compensation a positive influence on the performance of the production employees in PJ. Muria Jaya, either partially or simultants. From the results of this study suggested the company to improve the work environment related to air circulation and air temperature in the workspace; Improve employees ability to understand the rules and policies of the company. And expected to consider the wage increases granted to employees throughout the company are still in capability.

Abstract

The number of food processing SMEs in 2014 increased compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, anincreasing number are not necessarily followed by the success of the business. For that, you need toknow what factors are affecting the performance of SMEs. This study aims to determine the influence offactors of food processing performance of SMEs. This type of research is exploratory research. Thesamples used were 62 respondents with saturated sampling technique. The analytical method used isquantitative analysis, consisting of factor analysis, correlation, determination test, simple regression test,t-test, regression test and F-test using SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Discussion of the results showed thecharacteristics of SMEs, the characteristics of the entrepreneur, the entrepreneur psychology, andhuman resources have a medium level of relationship and positive influence on the performance ofSMEs, but only two were significant, namely the characteristics of SMEs and human resources, whilecreativity and innovation does not affect the performance of SMEs. SMEs advised to improve the qualityof marketing, attention to the environment to add to the experience, do not waste the opportunity comes,consistently keep running the business, improve the equipment and the willingness to use newtechnologies.

Abstract

The rapid growth of coffee shops in a few years has made competition even tighter. Consumer behavior in decision making is influenced by several factors including price, product, and location. Peacockoffie is one of the well-known coffee shops in the city of Semarang. The problem in this research is what caused the increase and decrease in Peacockoffie's annual sales turnover in the period 2013 to 2017 amid the mushrooming of coffee shops in Semarang City. The results of the study show that the price, product, and location variables have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Of the three variables analyzed, product variable coefficients are greater than price variables and location variables. From the three variables also obtained results that the price variable has a greater influence on the purchasing decisions of Peacockoffie Semarang, which is equal to 0.955, while the location variable is 0.776 and the product variable is 0.687. The results of this study indicate that although price variables are relatively cheap, product variables are considered satisfactory, and location variables are quite strategic, but there are other factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions in Peacockoffie Semarang, ie consumers do not make Peacockoffie a top priority compared to other existing coffee shops in the city of Semarang. The researcher suggested that Peacockoffie improve the quality of the products offered, such as adding more innovations in the products offered and in the presentation of products to be a product advantage compared to other coffee shops. As well as enhancing branding, Peacockoffie is a comfortable and good place to enjoy coffee.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality and to save the results to the decision of Bank Muamalat Indonesia Indonesia Sharia. This type of research is explanatory. The number of samples taken were 100 respondents with accidental sampling method. Collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, observation. Testing hypotheses using statistical analysis covering the correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, t-test and F test results of this study show that in partial positive influence on product quality saving decisions by 17.7%, the variable for the result a positive effect on saving decisions by 4.7%. Simultaneously, the variable quality of the product and the results of a positive influence on the decision of saving of 22.4%.

Abstract

The main problem is decreased decision making in using Kosti taxi service. The driving factors predicted are consumer satisfaction and service quality.The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of service quality in decision making on using kosti taxi services based on consumer satisfaction through intervening variable. Type of research is explanatory research. Samples used is 100 respondents who are taxi customers Kosti Semarang.The sampling technique used is accidental sampling and purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaire and literature study . The technique of data analysis is validity test, reliability test, crosstab analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple regression test, multiple regression test, significance test (t-test) and simultaneous test (f-test) using IMB SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 16.0 version.Based on the analysis shows that consumer satisfaction and service quality have an effect on decision making of using services. Service quality’s variable has bigger effect than consumer satisfaction on decision making on using services in the amount 61,6% than 45,4%            Recommendations for taxi service company Kosti Semarang is to increase consumer satisfaction especially in terms of passenger safety and better service quality.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of brand image, product quality and after-sales service on purchase decisions Honda Supra X 125 at PT Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera. This study used an explanatory approach to research on 100 respondents. Sampling is done by accidental sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Determination test results showed that 32.7% of decision variables can be explained by the variable purchase brand image, 60.5% purchase decision variables can be explained by the variable quality of the product, 40.8% purchase decision variables can be explained by variable after-sales service. 61.2% purchase decision variables can be explained by the brand image, product quality and after-sales service. The results of hypothesis testing (t test) that brand image has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, The quality of the product has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Furthermore, after-sales service has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Hypothesis test (F test) the brand image, product quality and after-sales services together - each has a positive influence and significant impact on purchasing decisions. So that concluded the three variables, both individually and collectively - each has a positive and significant impact on the purchase decision of Honda Supra X 125 at PT Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera Semarang.

Abstract

One of the parameters that affect the performance of employees is the motivation and discipline of work, because it is instrumental in improving a work effectiveness. A company can not develop if the productivity of employees also increased in view of the increasing levels of competition in the business world. Motivation and discipline have an influence in increasing produktiitas employees. Because it is, motivation and discipline is an important concern by the company to improve productivity at PT. Kimia Farma Plant. Where the company is engaged in the manufacture of the pharmaceutical industry to produce oil and cosmetics.               This research uses explanatory research approach to 48 respondents with sampling techniques Probability Sampling. Sampling techniques (sampling techniques) that provide equal opportunity for each element of the population to be elected as members of the sample. Data collection techniques in this research using interview techniques, questionnaire and literature study. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using analytical tools in the form of the cross table, validity, reliability, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing with T test and F test               The conclusion from this study is that there is influence between motivation and discipline to work productivity in PT. Kimia Farma Plant Semarang. Influence motivation towards productivity by 58.3%, the effect on the productivity of work disipin of 62.5%. Saran, the company needs to improve the productivity by increasing motivation through direct observation at regular intervals employees and improve discipline by improving the application and perform a closer scrutiny of the violations. But in this case the management should give consideration greater motivation, considering the influence of motivation on productivity is lower than disciplinary influence on productivity.
