Abstract

Abstract The game Formula 1 Circuit is a positive exercise in which the arena likes a formula 1 racing car can be the attraction of students to carry out these activities, so as to enhance physical fitness, can ultimately improve sprint technique. Based on the results of this study can be stated that the implementation of cooperative learning model think pair share (TPS) in the game of Formula 1 Circuit is very effective in helping students to improve the technical ability of sprint. The application of this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning that can still be developed on the subject of further study. Abstract

Abstract Pedagogical competence is a typical competence which only belong to teachers, thus differentiate their professions from the others. Physical education pedagogical competence of teachers is the teacher’s ability to manage the learning, including the students understanding, instructional design and implementation, learning outcome evaluation, and the development of student’s potential. Pedagogical competence of teachers plays important role in learning process done by the teacher in order for the whole process considered to be qualified. The quality of learning demonstrated by the effectiveness of learning that can be observed from preparation, execution, and the student’s activities during learning process. Besides, it can be revealed by knowing the results of four components which are results, volition, method, and cooperation. Therefore, it is necessary to know the relation between pedagogical competence with the effectiveness of learning, and how much the contribution of pedagogical competence to the effectiveness of pedagogical learning. This research is non-experimental with the type of correlation with the quantitative descriptive approach. The research subjects are 34 physical education teachers as PNS in a public elementary schools in Taman, Sidoarjo. Pedagogical competence of teachers are determined by the pedagogical assessment questionnaires filled out by 30 principals. While the effectiveness of learning is determined by class formative evaluation (FCE) questionnaire completed by 1,334 students and analyzing classroom observation radio and filling a physical education evaluation sheet by 5 observers. The hypothesis is proven using Pearson product moment formula r and r Spearman rank order. The results showed that the value of teacher’s pedagogical competence is in category great with a value of 82.88%. While the effectiveness of learning physical FCE based questionnaire in category good with a value of 2.68 and based on the analysis of instructional videos in category good with a value of 68.35%. From the results of hypothesis testing there is a significant relationship between teacher’s pedagogical competence with physical education learning effectiveness FCE based questionnaire. Proved by the value of rcount 0.402>0.399 rtable. While based on the video analysis shows that there is no significant relation proved by the p value 0.097 > 0.05 with rcount equal to 0.277 in the category of weak ties. The relation between teacher’s pedagogical competence with learning effectiveness of physical education based on FCE questionnaire is 16.16% and based on analysis of video learning using physical education classroom observation sheet of 5.16%. Conclusion: so the better the effectiveness of pedagogical competence, the better teacher’s physical education learning will become. Keywords: Pedagogical Competence, Learning Effectiveness

Abstract

Abstract  Physical education, sport and health in schools generally prioritize on the basic, including motor skills. Physical education, sport and health not only affects the physic of students, it also covers non - physical areas, such as helping improve the intellectual, the process of socialization in school, family and community; cognitive ( knowledge ) and affective ( attitude ) . To support the students in the school, it takes a good physical fitness. Physical fitness is the ability to perform daily activities with full vitality and alertness without experiencing significant fatigue. With increasing physical fitness and health is expected that students will be better in other subjects receive. This research aim to find out correlation between endurance of heart and lungs and the academic achievement on eighth grade student of SMP Negeri 1 Tarik and to find out how big the role endurance of heart and lungs to their the academic achievement. The type of research is qualitative research with correlational method. Instrument that applied to measure endurance of heart and lungs using MFT and for academic achievement using raport. Data analysis using contingency coefficient. Based on the research result its obtained that student who have very poor VO2 Max status are amounted of 42 students (11 students have poor academic achievement, 19 students have average and 12 have good academic achievement),  meanwhile student who have poor VO2 Max are amounted of 15 students (5 students have average academic achievement, 6 students have a good, and 4 students is very good), student who have good enough VO2 Max is 4 stuents ( 3 students have very good academic achievement and 1 student have the best). Data calculation result using SPSS 20.0 show value result as big as 0.651 and 0.000. it show that sig (0.000) < alpha 0.005, that mean Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, from the research result it can be known that endurance of heart and lungs related with academic achievment especially to eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tarik school year 2012-2013. Abstract

Abstract Elementary School No. Ploso II. 173 is located in the eastern part of the sub-district of Surabaya cider farms, of every class there are some students who are overweight. One of the causes of obesity is due to the influence of lifestyle, a lifestyle far different surabaya child with a few years ago, the proliferation of stores, depots and eat a variety of snacks that do not make children more aware of that has been consumed. The pupose of this study is to determine the prevalence of obesity in primary school age children according to IMT/U and the research method used is a type of survey research. Subjects in this study were student of SDN Ploso II consisting of 503 children using the percentage of data analysis. From the analysis research got the result of student who are very thin as many as 8 children (2%), student who are skinny as many as 17 children (3%), student who otherwise normal as many as 387 children (75%), student otherwise fat as much as 94 children (18%), and students who were obese were 11 children (2%). Then the prevalence of obesity in primary school age children in SDN Ploso II Surabaya by 2 % and most likely to become obese is obese category student by 18% and the factors that affect the child is obese parents social status, nutrition excessive, family genetic and physical activity conducted by the students. Abstract

Abstract Submission of material on the subjects of Physical Education, Sport and Health in schools, generally just put physical activity top priority such as the development of basic movement and improvement of physical fitness, so that the delivery of material tend not to appropriate to the Standards of Competence (SC) and the Basic Competency (BC) subjects Physical Education, Sport and Health One material that is often overlooked is the health education. This is consistent with the observation on junior high school 2 Krian that the delivery of health education materials on Penjasorkes subjects tend to be neglected, so that the form of cognitive assessment formative test was never performed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of formative tests to increased health education learning outcomes in class VII student of SMP Negeri 2 Krian and to determine the magnitude of the effect of formative tests to the improvement of learning outcomes in the health education class VII student of Junior High School  2 Krian. This research is a descriptive approach through quantitative experiments. Research design used is Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study is a class VII student of Junior High School  2 Krian totaled 360 students consisting of 10 classes. Sampling using cluster random sampling is a class VII-D as an experiment group with a number of 35 students and VII-I as a control group by the number of 36 students. Based on the analysis of different test with different sample, obtained significance value of 0.170 for pretest calculations the control and experiment. Based on the analysis of data known to an increase in health education learning outcomes in the control group was 18.79 %, while the increase in health education learning outcomes in the experiment group was 32.22 %, so the percentage increase in health education learning outcomes in the experiment group is higher 13.43 % of the control group. From the calculation results of different test with different sample (independent sample t-test) obtained significance value of 0.030 <ρvalue (sig) 0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of giving formative test to increase  learning outcomes health education  to students in class VII of  junior high school 2 Krian. Abstract

Abstract In penjasorkes (physical, sport and art education) in SDN Komplek Kenjeran II Surabaya lesson of kicking by inner food have been performed yet the result not optimum. In previous lesson teacher used direct learning model with the limitation where teacher dominates in the process, lack of feedback, students become individualistic and had less cooperation. It was indicated by assessment that have been performed at grade V SDN Komplek Kenjeran II Surabaya, where 28 students or 80% had less criteria and 7 students had mark 70 or above or 20% had good criteria. Hence this research used cooperative learning model of student team achievement division (STAD) type which emphasized on learning in group and cooperation among group members. STAD learning is one of cooperative learning model using small groups that consist of 4-5 heterogeneous member, it is mixture of achievement level, gender, social and ethnicity background in hope that the learning can improve learning result. This research aimed to identify learning result improvement of kicking by inner foot using Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model in students at grade V SDN Komplek Kenjeran II Surabaya. This research was experimental research using class action approach or class action research (PTK). Subject of research was students at grade V SDN Komplek Kenjeran II Surabaya.  It was due to all problem were derived from this class. Number of students was 35 students with 20 males and 15 females. Research result was following: in cycle 1, 18 students or 51.42% were successful to surpass KKM and it was said that learning method implementation had not been completed. In cycle 2, 31 students or 88.57% were successful to surpass KKM. Since percentage was more than 75,00% it was determined as complete. For mean of kicking by inner foot, initial study resulted in 20% and the final study had 88,57%. Hence learning result improvement of kicking by inner foot before and after receiving Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method was 17.50%. Abstract

Abstract Physical Education, Sport and Health to the point of physical fitness. SMP Yayasan Islam Malik Ibrohim (YIMI) Gresik is one of schools that use MI. The most important point in MI approach is everyone has eight intelligences or more. They are linguistic, kinesthetic, naturalist, mathematic-logic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal and spatial. The objective of this study is to know the comparison of physical fitness level between naturalist and kinesthetic intelligent students, especially at 8 grade student of SMP YIMI Gresik, this research use Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) as a physical fitness test. In this research, applying for purposive sampling  and by use of statiscal data t-test analysis, and sample amounted to fifty one students. Based on statistical data analysis is known that thitung obtained 1,339 < score ttabel 2,011 so it is concluded that Ha is rejected because thitung is smaller than ttabel. In the other words, there is not difference in of physical fitness level between naturalist and kinesthetic intelligent students. Abstract

Abstract Physical Education is a compulsory subject in school curriculum, in elementary, junior high and senior school. One of the objection of physical education, sports, and health is providing the opportunity for students to improve their physical fitness. Physical fitness is a physical ability to perform daily physical activities optimally and still be able to perform other physical activities without any significant fatigue. The Purpose of this study was to compare the level of physical fitness among eleventh grade students in Brawijaya Islamic high School, Taruna Nusa Harapan High School, and Taman Siswa High School in Mojokerto. This research uses a quantitative non-experimental using comparative approach called comparative descriptive. The sample in this study are 30 students from each school. Samples taken by cluster random sampling method, one class from each school. To determine the level of physical fitness of students using MFT test or Multistage Fitness Test.    The result of this study, the average level of physical fitness of eleventh grade students in Brawijaya Islamic High School is 30,760. The average level of physical fitness of nine grader students in Taruna Nusa Harapan is 29,077. The average level of physical fitness of nine grader students 27,630. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), if the Sig> alpha (0.05), then H0 is accepted since there is no significant difference. Obtained from SPSS, Sig. 0.242 > alpha (0.05), it can be said that there was no significant difference in the level of physical fitness among nine grader students of Brawijaya Islamic High School, Taruna Nusa Harapan High School, and Taman Siswa High school in Mojokerto. Abstract

Abstract Passing is one of the basic movements in the game of basketball and also can help move the ball to another friend. If the game of basketball cannot do right operand, the game is likely not able to run. There are many learning methods are used in order to improve basic motor skills in students passing. But in reality there are many students who have not been able to master the basic motion passing with the method that has been applied by educators. Therefore, other methods are needed that can improve students' ability to master the basic motion of passing in basketball. This study aimed to determine the effect of drill and practice methods in teaching physical education on learning outcomes chest pass in basketball games. This research is quasi experiment with descriptive quantitative approach. Subjects in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Kota Mojokerto using cluster random sampling technique totaled 37 students. Class is selected into the sample class X-4. Using research instruments pass the test wall. The purpose of this study is to know the improvement of student learning outcomes using drill and practice learning methods on the basis of motion basketball chest pass. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that learning used a drill and practice method gives better impact on learning outcomes chest pass that is equal to 44.45%. Abstract

Abstract Physical education is a form of education which uses body movement as a mean and the purpose of education. Through physical education, students are directed to the physical activities including sports ability, one of them is the learning process of underhand pass in volley ball. Based on that matter, the increasing of teaching-learning in physical education at school is needed and the innovation in teaching-learning model which can coop with that problem is also needed Based on that matter, the researcher is formulating some problems which are whether there is effect and how big is the effect of applying cooperative learning model, Think-Pair-Share, on the learning result of underhand pass volley ball at the students of eighth grade students  of  SDN Singowangi subdistrict Kutorejo or not. The aim of this research is to know the effect and how big is the effect of applying cooperative learning model, Think-Pair-Share, on the learning result of underhand pass volley ball at the students of eighth grade students  of of SDN Singowangi subdistrict Kutorejo Mojokerto. This research is an experimental study with using descriptive quantitative approach. Experimental study is a research conducted tightly to find out cause-effect relationship between variables. One of the main characteristics is the existence of treatments given to the subject. in this research, the researcher uses one group pre-test post-test design. The population which is used by the researcher is the eighth grade students  of SDN Singowangi Kecamatan Kutorejo Mojokerto consist of six classes which have 242 students.  the sample of this research is the students in class V consitc of 38 student. The application cooperative learning model, Think-Pair-Share to see value t greater than t table, Hence, it can be concluded that there Ha acceptance and Ho a push away, because value t greater 13,062 > value t table 1,684. The rate of improvement for the researcher sample and after the cooperative learning model, Think-Pair-Share applied is 23,65%. Hence, it can be concluded that there is significant influence between the implementation of cooperative learning model type think-pair-share and the learning improvement in volley ball down-pass on the eighth grade students  of class V SDN singowangi kecamatan  Kutorejo Mojokerto.
