Abstract

This research aims to explore the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance mediated by job autonomy at CV SKM Indonesia. During this yearly pandemic, job autonomy is applied in CV SKM Indonesia conceived by the work from the home method. Quantitative methods are chosen to process the questionnaire employees filled in—collecting 34 respondents as a total population from multiple divisions in CV SKM Indonesia and using multiple linear regression from SPSS PASW18 software for an analytical tool. This study verifies the positive and significant effect between transformational leadership and employee performance mediated by job autonomy as an intervening variable. This study shows that the practice of transformational leadership from the leader of the company is going well, and employee also has an excellent job autonomy on their self and that is helping them increasing performance to complete their job in the company. The company should let the employee make a monthly evaluation and keep improving their new work system to increase their performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find the most accurate predictor model of financial distress. The company has the potential to go bankrupt. Bankruptcy can be predicted using an accurate predictor model as an early warning to anticipate financial distress. This research was conducted on the global retail industry which is included in Kantar's 2019 Top 30 Global Retails (EUR). The data in this study were taken from 60 annual reports for the 2018-2019 period and a sample of 30 on global retail companies. The accuracy rate is calculated by the number of correct predictions divided by the total data and multiplied by one hundred percent. This study compares four predictor models of financial distress, namely the Altman model, the Springate model, the Taffler model, and the Grover model. With the results of the study, the Grover model has the highest level of accuracy, which is 76.67%.

Abstract

Sexual harassment has become a global problem. Previous research has revealed that many negative impacts can be caused and affect the condition of someone who is sexually harassed. This study aimed to investigate the effect of sexual harassment on turnover intention and examine the mediating role of job satisfaction among hotel employees in Surabaya. A total of 32 hotel employees participated through a purposive non-probability sampling technique. This research uses partial least square (PLS) as its statistical analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between sexual harassment with turnover intention. Sexual harassment has a negative effect on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction has a negative effect on turnover intention Results also indicate that job satisfaction plays the mediator role between sexual harassment and turnover intention among Surabaya hotel employees.

Abstract

Lending to conventional banks is an activity that will generate profits for the banks, and with credit, it can improve the welfare of people in a country. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Third Party Funds (TPF), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (ROA), Non Performing Loans (NPL), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) on credit disbursement at conventional banks period year 2015-2019. This study uses quantitative data types with associative methods. The sample is 24 banks with a purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the SPSS software application. The results show that TPF and LDR had a positive and significant effect on lending. CAR, ROA, and NPL did not affect distribution credit. However, simultaneously the independent variables affect the dependent variable (credit distribution). Banks as providers of funds must pay attention to the factors that influence lending so that both banks, users of funds, and the government can benefit from the provision of these funds.

Abstract

The study investigates how the effect of employee engagement on organizational trust and tests whether psychological well-being and transformational leadership mediate the effect of employee engagement on organizational trust. Companies need organizational trust to produce competent human resources so that be able to achieve company goals. Previous research found that employee engagement affects organizational trust and is mediated by psychological well-being and transformational leadership. Therefore, the research here wants to test the effect of an employee on organizational trust and whether psychological well-being and transformational leadership. The population in this study are 90 employees at PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop 8 in Surabaya using the snowball sampling method in data collection. The results of the structural model are that employee engagement has a significant impact on organizational trust. Employee engagement has a significant impact on psychological well-being. Employee engagement has a significant impact on transformational leadership; psychological well-being has no significant impact on organizational trust. Transformational leadership has not a significant impact on organizational trust.  Employee engagement on organizational trust has not indirect impact by psychological well-being. Employee engagement on organizational trust has not indirect impact by transformational leadership. The managerial implication of this study's result can review the factors that can increase their psychological well-being and transformational leadership on employee engagement. Future research in companies may involve organizational commitment variables, organizational culture variables, and job satisfaction variables because it becomes interesting to involve.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of emotional intelligence, organizational citizenship behavior and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X Pabrik Gula Lestari Nganjuk. This research is a type with a quantitative approach with a population of 185 permanent employees, and the sampling technique uses slovin sampling with a sample of 128permanentemployees. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis by IBM SPSS 25 software. The measurement scale used is the Likert Scale. The results of the study explained that emotional intelligence significantly and positively affects employee performance. Besides that, organizational citizenship behavior has a significant and positive impact on employee performance, and job satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on employee performance. The company should maintain its performance by building a communication and work culture that has been carried out based on the values of emotional intelligence, OCB level, and employee satisfaction. In addition, it can also provide work motivation to employees in the company by providing rewards through various programs that can improve work performance and increase employee performance.

Abstract

This paper aimed to study the effect of corporate image and service quality on loyalty by using trust as a mediating variable. This research uses quantitative data. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with the type of judgmental sampling). The sample used in this study were 220 respondents. The research method used path analysis--data collection through a questionnaire. The results showed that company image has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, service quality has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, the corporate image has a positive and significant effect on trust, service quality has a positive and significant effect on trust, and trust has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. Kantor Pos Trenggalek is expected to improve the image of Kantor Pos Trenggalek so that customer perception will be better for the services provided and improve and develop the quality of services provided to customers and fix service problems.

Abstract

Organizational citizenship behavior is valued as work-related behavior that is not related to the formal organizational reward system, and, in aggregate, encourages the effective functioning of the organization. This is shown from some data obtained that the teaching staff or lecturers of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) from the existing basic tasks and functions, which consists of research and social services, are considered not enough to be done only during working hours. Therefore this study sees that OCB is conducted by a Unesa's lecturers. This study aims to determine the effect of Internal Branding and Brand Commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior for teaching staff. This research uses a quantitative approach, using the questionnaire method by determining accidental sampling. The formulation of the technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Through multiple linear regression analysis techniques, the findings in this study answer the research hypothesis between ain, (1) the influence of Internal Branding on Organizational Citizenship Behavior of teaching staff at Unesa has a positive impact, the coefficient results showed 0.183 (0.000 <0.05), then the first hypothesis test accepted, (2) Effect of Brand Commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior has a positive effect, with a coefficient result of 0.44 (0,000 <0.05) then the results of the second hypothesis test are accepted, (3) Effect of Internal Branding and Brand Commitment on Organization Citizenship Behavior is stated Significantly, the F-count results show 136,299 (0,000 <0.5) then the results of the third hypothesis test are accepted.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important aspect of overall company performance. Hospitals as a complex organization require effective and efficient employee performance in providing services to the community. This study aims to analyze the effect of SIMRS quality and non-physical work environment on person-organization fit and employee performance at RSI Jemursari Surabaya. The sample of this study was permanent employees who were SIMRS users at Jemursari Hospital as many as 85 respondents. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale modification and uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method that is run with SmartPLS 3.0 software to analyze the data. The results showed that the quality of SIMRS had a positive and significant effect on person-organization fit, non-physical work environment had a positive and significant effect on person-organization fit, the quality of SIMRS had a positive effect on employee performance but not significantly, non-physical work environment had a positive influence on performance employees but not significant, and person-organization fit has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the effect of Intrinsic Religiousness on Attitude toward Digital Piracy (2) find out the effect of Intrinsic Religiousness on Intention to Commit Digital Piracy (3) find out the effect of Attitude toward Digital Piracy on Intention to Commit Digital PiracyThe type of research used is associative with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 2013-2018 students of Universitas Brawijaya who using Microsoft Office and worship in mosques on the main campus of Universitas Brawijaya. The sample used in this study was 115 respondents taken by using purposive sampling and data collection methods using questionnaires. Data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis (path analysis). The data in this study were processed using SPSS. The results of this research show that Intrinsic Religiousness (x) has a significant on Attitude toward Digital Piracy (z) and Intention to Commit Digital Piracy (y), moreover Attitude toward Digital Piracy (z) have a significant effect on Intention to Commit Digital Piracy (y).
