Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Nahdlatul Ulama's martial arts organization, Pagar Nusa, in Nogosari District in preserving Islamic civilization amid social change. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, this study was conducted in Nogosari, Boyolali, with the research object being the Pagar Nusa Nogosari District trainers. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis included data condensation, data presentation, and verification. This study investigates the organization's historical background, educational system, religious activities, and social impact. The findings show that Pagar Nusa serves not only as a martial arts institution but also as a platform for building Islamic character and spiritual development. Practices such as dhikr Tahlil, Rotiban, and Mujahadahan are used to instill Islamic values in members' daily lives. Moreover, the structured training levels and integration of Islamic principles position Pagar Nusa as a strategic force to face modern challenges and maintain social harmony. This study also highlights the uniqueness of Pagar Nusa Nogosari, including the 12 sikap pasang. The organization's activities have a positive impact on the community, providing security and promoting spiritual growth. This study concludes that Pagar Nusa is an essential part of NU's efforts to promote Islamic values and community development.

Abstract

This study aims to identify SVO pattern sentences that have undergone structural transformation found in WhatsApp texts of Thai students at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta and compare them with native Indonesian students. This study is based on the generative syntax approach developed by Noam Chomsky. The results of the study show that sentence patterns that appear such as ellipsis, use of abbreviations, and incomplete sentences are characteristic of language use, with the dominant S-V-O, S-V, and V-S syntactic patterns. Southern Thai Malay shows greater flexibility in the application of existential structures and elliptical forms than Indonesian. Meanwhile, Indonesian is more loyal to standard and adaptive structures, such as simplifying structures and eliminating elements that are considered unimportant in the digital context. However, both languages ​​maintain the S-V-O pattern as the main syntactic basis. This shows that digital communication encourages a shift from rigid syntactic norms to more flexible and functional structures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan disfemisme dalam novel Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati karya Brian Khrisna melalui kajian semantik. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bentuk-bentuk disfemisme yang terdapat dalam teks. Data penelitian berupa kata dan frasa disfemisme yang diambil dari novel tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat 45 data penggunaan disfemisme dalam novel Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa disfemisme dalam novel ini terbagi menjadi dua kategori utama: kata dan frase. Disfemisme berbentuk kata terdiri dari 32 data, yang mencakup kata dasar dan kata berimbuhan, sedangkan disfemisme berbentuk frase berisi 13 data. Analisis dipilih beberapa data utama yang dianggap paling representatif, mengandung unsur kekasaran yang jelas, dan mencerminkan pola yang dapat ditemukan pula dalam data lainnya. Penggunaan disfemisme ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ungkapan kasar, tetapi juga mencerminkan kritik sosial dan emosional yang mendalam terhadap kondisi kehidupan tokoh. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bahasa yang dapat digunakan untuk menyampaikan ideologi pesan dan menciptakan efek emosional yang kuat dalam sastra.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan sebagai pendidik profesional.  Guru profesional memainkan peran krusial dalam mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang efisien dan berkualitas.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi wawancara terhadap tiga orang pendidik yang mempunyai pengalaman mengajar di tingkat SD, SMP, dan SMA di Solo Raya.  Dari penelitian ini diperoleh data bahwa para guru memiliki kompetensi yang baik dalam menjalankan tugas mereka seperti pendidik profesional, termasuk sebagai sumber belajar, fasilitator, pengelola, demonstran, pembimbing, motivator, dan evaluator.  Mereka mampu menguasai materi pelajaran secara efektif, menumbuhkan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, dan memotivasi siswa untuk terlibat dalam studinya.  Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi bahwa para guru menghadapi tantangan dalam menjalankan tugas mereka, seperti mengelola kelas yang besar dan beragam, berhadapan dengan siswa yang memiliki latar belakang dan kemampuan yang bervariasi, serta beradaptasi dengan kemajuan zaman dan teknologi.  Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mengalami perubahan tanggung jawabnya sesuai dengan berjalannya waktu dan modifikasi kurikulum.  Mereka harus terus memperbarui pengetahuan dan keterampilannya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan pedoman untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of newspaper digitization and its application to consumers, as well as its role in preserving newspapers at the National Press Monument. Using a qualitative case study method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that newspaper digitization has a significant impact in facilitating information access for consumers, especially the younger generation who are more accustomed to digital technology. Through platforms such as Sidak and E-Paper, the National Press Monument is able to provide newspaper archives efficiently and widely. Despite facing several challenges such as limited staff and copyright issues, digitization remains a crucial strategy in addressing the challenges of information in the digital era.

Abstract

In the effort to improve the overall quality of education, especially in Gresik Regency, reliable human resources are needed, namely professional teachers or educators. Professional teachers are supported by several underlying factors, such as teacher competence and the professional components of teachers. Teacher competence includes four aspects, namely pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competence. This study aims to determine and describe the correlation between teacher competence and teacher professionalism in the learning process in Gresik. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data sources were obtained from interviews with elementary school teachers, junior high school teachers, and senior high school teachers who have at least five years of teaching experience in Gresik. The data analysis technique used by the researcher is the interactive technique of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show a mutually reinforcing relationship between teacher competence and professionalism. Teachers who possess mastery of four competencies tend to exhibit professional behavior such as being a resource for learning, manager, facilitator, motivator, demonstrator, mentor, and continuously evaluating learning and teaching success. Therefore, mastery and strengthening of teacher competencies directly contribute to the enhancement of teacher professionalism in the learning process.

Abstract

The escalation of the quality of education in Indonesia is currently undergoing a significant transformation along with the development of artificial intelligence (AI), as well as the rapid development of social media technology, or commonly referred to as Edu-Content. The application of AI and Edu Content technology in education provides opportunities for the development of learning methods that are more innovative, effective, and quickly understood by students. By utilizing data analysis and machine learning, the curriculum can be tailored to the needs of individual students, so that the learning experience becomes more personal and in-depth. AI also plays a role in increasing the accessibility of education, allowing remote areas to obtain quality learning materials through digital platforms. Meanwhile, Edu-Content makes it easier for students with attractive illustrations on every platform they use. In addition, the application of AI in the evaluation process can provide faster and more accurate feedback, helping educators identify areas that need improvement. Therefore, collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the technology sector is very important to ensure that the implementation of AI in education can run sustainably and inclusively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola, fungsi, kategori, dan peran sintaksis pada kalimat tunggal dalam opini karya mahasiswa yang dimuat di koran digital Solopos.com. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data berupa teks opini mahasiswa yang terbit pada Januari hingga April 2025. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode simak melalui teknik sadap dan catat, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode agih dengan teknik bagi unsur langsung (BUL) serta teknik lanjutan seperti ganti, perluas, dan ubah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keragaman struktur sintaksis dalam kalimat-kalimat tersebut. Pola kalimat tunggal yang dominan adalah pola S+P+O. Penggunaan pola tersebut pada kalimat tunggal dalam kolom opini mahasiswa mempermudah pembaca untuk memahami pesan secara jelas dan lugas. Fungsi subjek paling banyak diisi oleh nomina dan frasa nominal, fungsi predikat oleh verba dan frasa verbal, objek oleh frasa nominal, dan keterangan oleh frasa preposisional. Kategori yang paling dominan adalah nomina, frasa nominal, dan verba. Peran sintaksis yang ditemukan mencerminkan makna semantis yang beragam, dengan peran pelaku paling sering muncul pada fungsi subjek dan peran tindakan dominan pada fungsi predikat. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan kalimat tunggal dalam opini mahasiswa mendukung penyampaian gagasan secara efektif serta menunjukkan pentingnya pemahaman fungsi, kategori, dan peran sintaksis dalam menganalisis kualitas bahasa tulis jurnalistik. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya, penulis menyarankan agar analisis diperluas dengan mengkaji kalimat tunggal, majemuk, dan kompleks secara bersamaan dalam teks opini.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze syntactic errors in the scientific papers of Thai students at the Raden Mas Said State Islamic University (UIN) Surakarta. As foreign speakers, Thai students often experience first language (L1) interference when writing in Indonesian, which causes various errors at the syntactic level. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through documentation of Thai students' scientific papers collected purposively. The data analysis technique was carried out by identifying, classifying, and interpreting forms of syntactic errors based on seven characteristics of effective sentences: equivalence, parallelism, assertiveness, economy, accuracy, cohesion, and logic. The results of the analysis show that students still make various syntactic errors in all of these aspects. The main causes of errors include differences in the structure of Indonesian and Thai languages and lack of mastery of formal language rules. These findings are expected to be used as evaluation material in teaching Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA), especially in academic writing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kesalahan sintaksis dalam karya ilmiah mahasiswa asal Thailand di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Sebagai penutur asing, mahasiswa Thailand kerap mengalami interferensi bahasa pertama (L1) saat menulis dalam bahasa Indonesia, yang menyebabkan berbagai kesalahan pada tataran sintaksis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi karya ilmiah mahasiswa Thailand berupa makalah dan tugas akhir mata kuliah yang dikumpulkan secara purposive. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan, dan menginterpretasikan bentuk-bentuk kesalahan sintaksis berdasarkan tujuh ciri kalimat efektif, yaitu: kesepadanan, keparalelan, ketegasan, kehematan, kecermatan, kepaduan, dan kelogisan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa masih melakukan berbagai kesalahan sintaksis pada seluruh aspek tersebut. Faktor utama penyebab kesalahan meliputi perbedaan struktur bahasa Indonesia dengan bahasa Thai serta kurangnya penguasaan terhadap kaidah kebahasaan formal. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing (BIPA), khususnya dalam penulisan akademik.

Abstract

This research examines the Tomb of Ki Kebo Kenongo in Pengging, Boyolali, as a site rich in historical, archaeological, and religious values in the context of Javanese culture. Ki Kebo Kenongo, or Ki Ageng Pengging, was an important figure during the transition from the Majapahit Kingdom to the Demak Sultanate, known both as a nobleman and as a spiritual figure of Sheikh Siti Jenar's disciple. An interdisciplinary approach is used in thisresearch, including the historical method to trace the genealogy, socio-political role, and spiritual teachings of Ki Kebo Kenongo; the archaeological approach to analyze the structure, materials, and ornaments of the tomb; and the religio-cultural approach to understand the pilgrimage tradition that is still alive in the community. The results show that this tomb is an important spiritual center, reflecting the combination of Islamic values with local wisdom and Javanese culture. The architecture of the tomb shows the acculturation of Hindu-Buddhist and early Islam, with pilgrimage practices reflecting the diversity of the community's religious expressions. Pilgrimage traditions such as prayer recitation, flower sowing, and kenduri emphasize the function of the tomb as a spiritual space as well as a symbol of cultural identity. This study emphasizes the importance of recognizing local sites as part of Indonesia's cultural heritage and national history
