Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Medical Records Unit management plays an important role in supporting healthcare service quality, particularly in the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). This study aimed to evaluate the management of the Medical Records Unit based on the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC) at Bhayangkara Level I Hospital, Pusdokkes Polri. A descriptive qualitative method with a case-study design was employed. Seven informants were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and document review and were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the management functions had been implemented through work-program planning, task distribution, service delivery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and periodic monitoring and evaluation. The identified constraints included EMR system disruptions, delays in document completion, and increased workload. The application of management functions supports the effectiveness of Medical Records Unit management; however, continuous improvement remains necessary to enhance service quality.

Abstract

Ultra-micro enterprises represent the backbone of Indonesia's entrepreneurial ecosystem by generating employment opportunities, stimulating local economic activities, and supporting inclusive economic development. Despite their considerable contribution to national growth, many of these enterprises continue to struggle with organizational sustainability because of limited managerial capability, inadequate knowledge resources, weak collaborative networks, and uneven adoption of digital technologies. While previous studies have separately examined the influence of social capital, intellectual capital, or innovation on business outcomes, limited empirical attention has been devoted to understanding how these strategic resources interact through digital innovation to enhance sustainable performance among ultra-micro enterprises. This study develops an integrated structural model explaining the mechanism through which social and intellectual capital contribute to sustainable business performance by strengthening digital innovation capability. The proposed framework combines the Resource-Based View, Knowledge-Based View, and Dynamic Capability Theory to explain how internal organizational resources and external relational assets jointly generate long-term competitive advantage. Empirical evidence was obtained from 204 owners of ultra-micro culinary enterprises in Bekasi City, Indonesia. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling based on predetermined operational criteria. The proposed hypotheses were examined using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) implemented in Smart PLS 4. The analysis demonstrates that both social capital and intellectual capital positively influence digital innovation while simultaneously exerting significant direct effects on sustainable performance. Digital innovation also contributes positively to organizational sustainability and partially mediates the relationships between organizational resources and business performance. Among all explanatory variables, intellectual capital exhibits the strongest influence on sustainable performance, highlighting the strategic importance of entrepreneurial knowledge, managerial competence, and organizational learning. These findings suggest that sustainable competitiveness among ultra-micro enterprises depends not only on access to strategic resources but also on the capability to transform those resources into continuous digital innovation. The study extends contemporary strategic management literature by integrating three complementary theoretical perspectives into a unified explanatory framework and provides practical guidance for policymakers and entrepreneurship development institutions seeking to strengthen digital transformation within the ultra-micro sector.

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education demands absolute readiness from the entire academic community, particularly lecturers and students. This study aims to analyze the critical role of digital literacy for both lecturers and students in addressing and overcoming challenges in the digital transformation era using a systematic literature review method evaluating 10 core selected studies. The results demonstrate that digital literacy for lecturers spans far beyond basic technical operational skills, heavily encompassing digital pedagogical proficiency to design adaptive learning environments. For students, digital literacy plays a vital role in fostering critical thinking, independent learning abilities, and virtual collaboration skills. The synergy of digital competencies between lecturers and students constitutes the core driver for successful educational technology implementation, modern curriculum alignment, and mitigation of disruptive technological impacts within university environments. The conclusion reinforces that holistic digital literacy serves as the primary foundation for transforming higher education institutions into sustainable, future-ready learning ecosystems

Abstract

Green peer communication is frequently treated as a persuasive route to sustainable consumption, yet its association with purchase intention may depend on consumers' internal evaluations and confidence in environmental claims. This study examines how received green word-of-mouth is associated with green purchase intention among Generation Z consumers in Bandung, Indonesia. Using the stimulus-organism-response framework and self-efficacy reasoning, environmental concern and perceived consumer effectiveness are modelled as parallel mediators, while green-claim skepticism is specified as a direct inhibitor and a first-stage moderator. A cross-sectional purposive survey produced 278 valid responses, which were analysed using partial least squares structural equation modelling. Received green word-of-mouth was positively associated with both mediators, and both were positively associated with purchase intention, whereas its direct path to intention was non-significant. Green-claim skepticism was negatively associated with purchase intention and weakened the first-stage relationships. The conditional indirect effects remained positive but declined as skepticism increased. The findings indicate that peer communication is most relevant when it corresponds with concern and personal efficacy and when environmental claims remain credible and verifiable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work facilities and competence on employee performance through motivation at the Jambi Search and Rescue Office. The study used a quantitative approach with explanatory research methods. The study population was all employees of the Jambi Search and Rescue Office, while the sample size was 90 respondents. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. Prior to hypothesis testing, the research instrument was tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used path analysis with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 to examine the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results showed that work facilities had a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. Competence also had a positive and significant effect on motivation. Furthermore, work facilities, competence, and motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation was proven to mediate the effect of work facilities on employee performance and the effect of competence on employee performance. The research findings indicate that improving the quality of work facilities and employee competence can increase work motivation, which ultimately impacts employee performance. This research implies that the Jambi Search and Rescue Office needs to continuously improve the availability of work facilities, develop employee competencies through education and training, and strengthen work motivation to enhance the effectiveness of task implementation and the quality of service to the public.
