Abstract

Uniform heat distribution during the post cure process is essential for maintaining the dimensional stability and mechanical properties of automotive rubber products. The damper configuration in a post cure oven influences air circulation, which may affect the quality of cured O-rings. This study aimed to compare the effects of Half-Open and Full-Open damper configurations on O-ring quality characteristics, including Inner Diameter (ID), Thickness, and Hardness. An experimental comparative design was employed using 60 O-ring specimens, consisting of 30 specimens for each damper configuration. Product characteristics were measured using a digital vernier caliper, dial thickness gauge, and Shore A durometer. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene's test, independent sample t-test, and process capability analysis (Cp and Cpk). The results showed that both damper configurations produced O-rings within the specified quality limits. Independent sample t-tests revealed no statistically significant differences in Inner Diameter (p = 0.116), Thickness (p = 0.195), or Hardness (p = 0.147). However, the Half-Open configuration exhibited lower process variation and higher Cp and Cpk values, indicating superior process consistency compared with the Full-Open configuration. These findings suggest that the Half-Open damper configuration is preferable for improving process stability and maintaining consistent product quality during the post cure process in automotive rubber manufacturing.

Abstract

English Language Programs (ELP) is an English course institution that still manages customer data, course history, payments, student attendance, and alumni data manually using paper-based documents such as student ledgers, attendance lists, and teaching reports. This condition causes difficulty in tracing customer history, the absence of a structured alumni database, and the lack of a tracer study mechanism to monitor graduates. This study designs and builds a web-based backend information system integrating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and alumni tracer study management at ELP. The system was developed using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework, the Model-View-Controller (MVC) concept, and a MySQL database. The Waterfall method was applied, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The result is a backend system capable of managing customer data, course registration, monthly payments, student attendance, teaching reports, alumni data, and tracer study forms, with access divided between Staff and Admin roles. Black Box Testing results show all features function according to requirements.

Abstract

Employee performance is a critical factor influencing organizational effectiveness, competitiveness, and long-term sustainability. In recent years, workplace spirituality has gained increasing scholarly attention as an organizational resource that promotes meaningful work, interpersonal connectedness, ethical values, and employee wellbeing. This study aims to examine the intellectual structure, research trends, and thematic development of workplace spirituality in relation to employee performance through an integrated bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review. Bibliometric data were retrieved from the Scopus database using relevant keywords related to workplace spirituality and employee performance, while the review process followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA 2020) guidelines to ensure a transparent and systematic selection of studies. Bibliometric mapping was conducted using VOSviewer to visualize keyword co-occurrence, research clusters, and conceptual relationships among the identified themes. The systematic review synthesized empirical findings from the selected studies to identify the mechanisms through which workplace spirituality contributes to employee performance. The findings reveal that workplace spirituality is closely associated with employee engagement, work engagement, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior, and psychological wellbeing, all of which contribute to improved employee performance. The bibliometric network further indicates that religiosity, spirituality, ethical leadership, and organizational culture constitute important supporting themes within the development of this research field. Despite the growing body of literature, limited studies have integrated workplace spirituality with contemporary organizational capabilities and sustainable human resource management perspectives. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive overview of the intellectual landscape of workplace spirituality research and proposing future research directions to strengthen organizational strategies for improving employee performance through meaningful work environments and positive organizational values.

Abstract

The development of vocational education requires the implementation of learning models that can improve students’ competencies actively and in line with the needs of the workforce. One model that is widely used is Project Based Learning (PJBL) because it places students at the center of learning through project completion. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Project Based Learning implementation among students of Politeknik LP3I Jakarta Depok Campus. This research used a descriptive quantitative approach with a frequency table method. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 81 students who participated in project-based learning in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year and were analyzed using a Likert scale. The results showed that the implementation of Project Based Learning obtained an average score of 3.99, which is classified as good. These findings indicate that Project Based Learning is effective in improving the quality of student learning, especially in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and project completion. However, several aspects still need to be improved through more optimal guidance during the learning process. Therefore, Project Based Learning can be considered an effective learning model to support the achievement of student competencies in vocational education.
