Abstract

This paper develops a microfoundational explanation of innovation commercialization by positioning Strategic Cognition (SC) as the cognitive mechanism through which organizational capabilities are transformed into sustained commercialization outcomes in the Indonesian oil and gas industry. The study addresses an unresolved empirical finding from prior research in this program, theoretically unexplained until now. Drawing on a PRISMA-based systematic literature review of 68 high-quality studies published between 2015 and 2025, the paper identifies a theoretical tension between Dynamic Capabilities Theory, which implies a direct capability-to-performance relationship, and the microfoundations perspective, which emphasizes cognitive mediation. To reconcile this tension, the study theorizes that Strategic Cognition, operating through its three cognitive mechanisms, transforms Internal Dynamic Capability (IDC) and Innovation Ecosystem Quality (IEQ) into Technology Commercialization Capability (TCC), which subsequently drives Sustained Innovation Commercialization Performance (SICP). The proposed framework specifies two serial mediation pathways (IDC → SC → TCC → SICP and IEQ → SC → TCC → SICP). By integrating dynamic capabilities and microfoundational perspectives, the study extends commercialization theory for long-cycle, highly regulated industries, clarifies the capability–performance relationship, identifies the missing cognitive mechanism underlying commercialization capability formation, and offers a theoretically grounded framework for managing innovation commercialization in the oil and gas industry.

Abstract

This study investigates the persistent crowding phenomenon at Mie Gacoan in Bekasi, a densely populated satellite city. The research purposes are to identify the behavior triggers of customer retention and understand the consumer experience from an immersive perspective. Adopting a qualitative approach, the methodology integrates direct observation of spatial dynamics and participant observation across four strategic branches (Juanda, Golden City, Bintara and Harapan Indah), where researchers actively engaged in the purchasing and dining journey. The main findings reveal that the continuous crowds are driven by a strong “social proof” effect amplified by visible queues alongside the restaurant’s successful adaptation as an affordable “third place” for suburban youth socialization. Consumers willingly endure long waiting times because the shared queueing and dining experience serves as a form of lifestyle validation. The business implication suggests that for low-cost food enterprises in suburban markets, atmospheric and social value are just as critical as pricing strategies for sustaining hyper-growth.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of knowledge, attitude, and facilities on community actual behavior in the waste bank program in West Jakarta, with intention as a mediating variable, based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. Waste management remains a critical environmental issue in West Jakarta due to the limited availability of waste bank facilities and low community participation, which contribute to environmental and public health problems. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 110 waste bank facility users selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that knowledge and attitude do not have a significant direct effect on actual behavior but significantly influence actual behavior indirectly through intention, with attitude emerging as the strongest predictor of intention. In contrast, facilities have a significant direct effect on actual behavior without mediation by intention. Intention also positively and significantly affects actual behavior. These findings suggest that community participation is driven by two complementary pathways, namely an attitudinal cognitive pathway through intention and a structural pathway through facilities. This study recommends improving waste sorting facilities and strengthening community intentions through education simultaneously to support the sustainability of the waste bank program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop a conceptual model of community-based lifelong learning practices in Majelis Taklim to support the acceleration of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4). The study employed a qualitative meta-synthesis approach combined with extensive content analysis of empirical findings from previous studies, complemented by policy documents on non-formal Islamic education. The findings reveal that Majelis Taklim has evolved into an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable community learning center. This transformation is supported by a conceptual model integrating four key components: participatory leadership, dialogic learning grounded in participants' lived experiences, the development of contextualized learning materials, and reflective evaluation oriented toward socio-religious empowerment. The study highlights the importance of formal policy recognition and strategic government partnerships in strengthening the role of Majelis Taklim. As locally rooted faith-based institutions, Majelis Taklim possess substantial institutional capacity to serve as key catalysts for advancing the United Nations' global education agenda by promoting lifelong learning opportunities within local communities.

Abstract

This study looks into how students use ChatGPT to help them with their learning. A qualitative method was used to deeply understand what students thought about ChatGPT, the benefit things they found from using it, and the difficulties they face while using it. Data was collected by an online questionnaire distributed using Google Forms to students who had used ChatGPT for their assignments. The results show that ChatGPT helps students learn better, learn complicated topics, come up with new ideas, and finish their assignments more effectively. Participants also mentioned that ChatGPT provides quick and easy answers, which makes it a useful extra resource for learning. Some people also expressed concerns about how accurate the information was, especially since it was mostly created by AI.There was a worry that people might rely too much on this content without checking if it's correct. It was suggested that everyone should use their own thinking skills to verify the answers they find. This study finds that ChatGPT can be useful for students in college, but it also reminds us that it's important to use digital tools carefully and to approach AI in a responsible manner.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate how motivation to learn affects the success of group-based learning among students at Politeknik LP3I Jakarta. Specifically, the study seeks to determine the level of initiative and persistence students demonstrate when working in groups, as well as how strongly their motivation enables them to cope with challenges such as imbalanced workload distribution among members. A quantitative, descriptive research design was applied in this study. Data collection was carried out through an online Likert-scale survey administered to 32 currently enrolled students at Politeknik LP3I Jakarta from the 2024–2025 cohort, selected through a stratified random sampling procedure. Using SPSS, the collected data were processed through validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and simple linear regression analysis. Findings indicate that every item in the questionnaire met the criteria for validity and reliability, with a Cronbach's Alpha score of 0.870. Based on the regression analysis, the resulting equation was Y = 13.401 + 0.795X, with an R² of 0.645, indicating that 64.5% of the variance in group task productivity is explained by learning motivation. Furthermore, the partial t-test revealed a statistically significant relationship (t-count = 7.132, exceeding the t-table value of 2.042; significance level = 0.000). These findings support the conclusion that learning motivation exerts a positive and significant influence on enhancing group learning outcomes among students at Politeknik LP3I Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of work-life balance and burnout on employee productivity at PT XYZ, an automotive manufacturing company characterized by high production pressure and demanding shift schedules. This study employed a quantitative approach using primary data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online to 85 respondents selected through simple random sampling. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results show that work-life balance had no significant partial effect on work productivity, while burnout had a significant partial effect with a positive relationship at the 10 percent significance level, which can be explained through the concept of eustress. Simultaneously, both variables were found to significantly affect work productivity, although the adjusted R square value of only 0.053 indicates that many other factors outside this study also influence employee productivity. These findings offer practical implications for PT XYZ to develop employee psychological well-being programs, such as an Employee Assistance Program, to prevent the long-term negative effects of burnout, while also opening opportunities for future research to explore other variables relevant to work productivity in the manufacturing sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of human resource competency development at the Directorate General of Religious Courts (Ditjen Badilag), identify the obstacles encountered in its implementation, and find solutions to these obstacles in order to improve the quality of public services, particularly the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP). This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques that include face-to-face interviews with Human Resources Managers, as well as a review of documents comprising official information from the Ditjen Badilag website and service data from the Badilag PTSP for the period January–April 2026. The research results indicate that the internal, needs-based human resource competency development program—which includes technical and functional training for service managers—has had a positive impact on improving the quality of public services. This is reflected in the rising scores of the Public Satisfaction Survey (SKM) and the Employee Satisfaction Survey (SKP), which demonstrate positive evaluations from both the public and internal staff regarding the quality of the PTSP within the Directorate General of Badilag. Furthermore, the agency achieved the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) designation in 2020 and the Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) designation in 2021. The success is supported by legalization service data, which show that an average of 99.5% of legalization requests were processed on the same day as the filing date. However, implementation still faces three common challenges: budget constraints, time constraints due to employees’ operational workloads, and the misalignment of training participants with program objectives. In response to these challenges, the agency has implemented solutions such as optimizing training through online platforms, coordinating schedules more intensively from the planning stage, and refining the participant selection process based on profile alignment and competency needs.

Abstract

This study examines whether job placement influences the work motivation of Politeknik LP3I Jakarta alumni, using a descriptive-correlational quantitative design. The population comprised Business Administration graduates (2021–2025 cohorts) with at least one year of work experience in Jabodetabek, from which 30 respondents were drawn via probability sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire, which proved valid (r-count above the 0.3610 r-table value) and highly reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.95), with normally distributed data and no multicollinearity or heteroscedasticity issues. Simple linear regression produced the equation Y = 60.866 + 0.133X. As the t-count (1.833) was below the t-table value (2.048) and the significance level (0.077) exceeded 0.05, job placement was found to have no significant effect on work motivation. The R² of 0.107 indicates job placement explains only 10.7% of motivation variance, with the remaining 89.3% attributable to factors such as compensation, working conditions, leadership, and career development suggesting other variables play a more dominant role and warrant further study.
