Abstract

This community service aims to develop a business in the field of mobile coffee run by Setia Kopi in Mataram through a partnership system (franchise). The method used in this community service is Action Research in the form of assistance in making partnership proposals and partnership contracts. The results obtained from this activity are an understanding of the process of business development through a partnership system.

Abstract

In the midst of globalization and modernization, the moral character of the younger generation has shown a concerning decline. This situation highlights the urgent need to strengthen religious character education through approaches rooted in Islamic spiritual values. This community service program was conducted at SMA Islam Al Azhar NW Kayangan, West Lombok, on October 28–29, 2024, focusing on fostering students' religious character through tahfidz (Qur’anic memorization) and tadabbur (reflection on the meaning of the Qur’an) programs. The program involved 40 first-grade students and adopted a participatory-collaborative approach involving teachers and students. The tahfidz program aimed to improve students' ability to read and memorize the Qur’an accurately according to tajwid and makhraj rules, while the tadabbur program encouraged students to understand, reflect upon, and apply Qur’anic values in daily life. The results showed that students still face significant challenges both technically and spiritually, including weak reading ability, low motivation, and a lack of reflective habits. However, the program contributed positively to increasing students’ emotional and spiritual connection with the Qur’an, as well as reinforcing values such as honesty, discipline, and social awareness. An integrated implementation of tahfidz and tadabbur programs is expected to be an effective strategy in shaping a well-rounded and sustainable religious character within Islamic educational settings.

Abstract

The ability to write scientific articles is one of the important skills to be mastered by students. Unfortunately, there are still many students in Mataram City who have difficulty writing scientific articles. This community service activity aims to carry out scientific article writing training for students in Mataram City. This activity took place online well and smoothly and was attended by 25 students and filled by two speakers. This activity is expected to increase students' knowledge and insight regarding writing scientific articles. This activity provides practical insight into finding credible references, using applications for reference management, how to choose journals for publication of scientific articles, both in reputable national journals and reputable international journals.

Abstract

CV. Arena Furniture, a furniture manufacturing company, faced challenges in accurately calculating production cost (HPP) and automatically updating inventory. This project designed and implemented an inventory and HPP system based on Microsoft Excel to automate cost calculations and update inventory in real-time. The implementation of this system contributes to improved operational efficiency and data accuracy, supports strategic decision-making, and facilitates more structured and data-driven business management.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide preparation for students who will carry out an internship program in the hotel industry. This preparation is designed to improve students' readiness to face the real world of work, especially in the hotel sector which highly demands competence, professionalism, and mastery of soft skills and hard skills. The preparation material includes an understanding of the general overview of the hotel business, work ethics, attitude and appearance. This activity is carried out through lecture and question and answer methods. The results of the activity show that students gain a better understanding of the hotel business and are ready to apply ethics, attitudes and appearance according to the material presented.

Abstract

Mustika Beaute is a cosmetic and skincare MSME established on July 31, 2024 in Jembatan Kembar Village, West Lombok. The main obstacles are the absence of a logo, visual identity, and limited digital marketing. This community service program aims to provide solutions through logo design, product packaging, and digital marketing training. The methods used include initial surveys, presentations, discussions, and design assistance. Digital marketing training helps Mustika Beaute utilize social media, websites, and e-commerce. The result is a logo and packaging that reflects the brand's identity as well as improved digital marketing capabilities. This program is expected to strengthen Mustika Beaute's position in the market and support the development of MSMEs in facing competition.

Abstract

The Accounting Competition Program is a form of community service Synergy of Digital Marketing and Accounting: Equipping Students with Business Competencies in the Era of Economic Technology is a program implemented by lecturers and students of the accounting study program at Bumigora University. This program is designed to provide structured training and mentoring, so that students are ready to face challenges in the increasingly dynamic world of work. This community service program is designed with a participatory approach that places students as active subjects in all stages of the activity. This approach was chosen to create a collaborative and applicable learning process. This activity aims to transfer digital marketing and accounting knowledge and foster practical understanding, a sense of responsibility, and a sense of ownership of the contextual learning process. The strategy for implementing this activity was carried out in stages for 3 days and was attended by 115 accounting faculty students from semester one to semester eight with the following stages: Theory and Practice Training, Simulation Project Mentoring, Evaluation and Discussion. Overall, this program succeeded in achieving its main objective, namely to equip students with practical skills in designing digital marketing strategies and understanding their implications for the financial aspects of the business.

Abstract

This community service aims to assist students of the Master of Accounting study program at the University of Mataram in publishing scientific articles in international journals. The participants who were assisted were 3 people with a background of workers who had busy schedules. The results of this service have obtained a Letter of Acceptance from the targeted international journal, namely the International Journal of Management, Accounting and Economics (IJMAE). Thus, community service proves that there are benefits for students to be able to publish scientific articles in international journals.

Abstract

Strengthening Pancasila-based character education in elementary schools is an urgent need amid the decline in the internalization of moral values among students. Local wisdom, such as the Cupak Gerantang folk tale, has great potential as a source of educational values because it is rich in moral messages that are in line with the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, learning in schools is still limited to innovative and contextual media, so teachers need new strategies that are in line with the characteristics of the digital generation. This community service activity aims to improve teacher competence through workshops on the application of Cupak Gerantang animation media assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) at SDN 1 Jenggala, North Lombok. The activity method consists of three stages, namely: (1) planning with needs analysis and material preparation, (2) implementation in the form of training on the use of animation with AI-based voice-over features, and (3) evaluation through mentoring and reflection on learning practices. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the concept of character education, skills in operating AI-based animation media, and the ability to integrate Pancasila values into the learning process. Teachers showed high enthusiasm because Cupak Gerantang animation was considered relevant to local culture and attracted students' interest. Although there were still obstacles in the form of limited technological facilities and variations in digital capabilities among teachers, this activity proved to be effective in strengthening teachers' competencies and offering a character learning model rooted in local culture and in line with the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

The Socialization of the Use of SIAKAD Sevima Application Version 4.5.1.5 at the Aspirasi Institute of Technology and Health was carried out as an effort to improve the understanding and ability of the academic community in operating a digital-based academic information system. Through socialization activities, training, and live demonstrations, participants—especially new students and lecturers—gained a better understanding of SIAKAD features, including KRS filling, KHS printing, grade management, and the use of e-learning. This activity also had an impact on increasing the efficiency of academic administration work and helped identify technical obstacles that can be used as a basis for future system improvements. This PKM demonstrates the institution's commitment to optimizing the application of information technology to support more effective, integrated academic governance, and in line with the evolving needs of higher education.
