Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence students' decision-making in choosing an educational major. The method used is library research, with the subject being a literature review from journals, books, and related research reports. The object of the study includes variables such as economics, social, culture, and technology that play a role in the decision-making process. Data were collected through document reviews from academic literature in the last five years and analyzed using content analysis techniques with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that internal factors such as interests and talents contribute significantly to determining the choice of major, in line with the career fit theory (Holland, 1997). Meanwhile, external factors such as the influence of family, peers, media, and educational policies also influence students' decisions. This study reveals that students' decisions are the result of a complex interaction of various factors and highlights the importance of positive social environmental support. These results provide new insights for educational institutions in designing policies that support students' decision-making processes

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of statistics in measuring the success of poverty alleviation programs through education, with a focus on identifying methodological gaps and offering new insights for a more holistic evaluation. The research method used is library research with a qualitative approach, where the subject of the study includes academic literature such as journals, books, and government reports, while the object of the study is the use of statistical methods in evaluating education programs. Data collection techniques are carried out through systematic searches of secondary sources from academic databases such as Google Scholar and JSTOR, while data analysis techniques include content analysis and comparative analysis to identify patterns, trends, and gaps in previous research. The results of the study indicate that statistics play an important role in program evaluation, but their use is often limited to conventional quantitative indicators. This study offers a more inclusive approach by integrating qualitative aspects, local context, and advanced statistical methods such as multivariate regression analysis and big data analytics. These findings provide recommendations for improving program effectiveness and contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Students greatly benefit from the presence of this religious figure, particularly during periods of societal change and moral decline. It is believed that students will adhere to religious principles and laws, enabling them to cultivate both virtuous and immoral behavior. The objective of this study is to assess the impact of the IMTAQ program on the development of students' religious character at SD Negeri 180 in Pekanbaru . The research employed a qualitative descriptive research methodology. The research findings indicate that the IMTAQ program has been successfully implemented to cultivate the religious character of pupils at SD Negeri 180 in Pekanbaru. The IMTAQ program at SD Negeri 180 in Pekanbaru . aims to cultivate the religious character of pupils. Teachers play a significant role in fostering qualities such as independence and responsibility. Teachers cultivate the virtues of integrity, reliability, and sagacity. Teachers cultivate a demeanor characterized by respect and politeness. Teachers influence it by instruction, exemplifying, and familiarizing themselves with it via the IMTAQ program. The primary contributing aspect to the development of kids' religious character at SD Negeri 180 in Pekanbaru is the rigorous supervision by teachers. Furthermore, there are other facilities or resources available to support IMTAQ activities. However, the main obstacle to the IMTAQ program's goal of instilling religious values in students at SD Negeri 180 Pekanbaru City is the lack of discipline among the students themselves, as seen by their frequent tardiness in attending IMTAQ sessions.

Abstract

Classroom action research (CAR) requires accurate and efficient data collection to support the process of reflection and improvement in teaching practices. This study aims to examine the techniques, tools, and challenges in data collection in CAR using the library research method. The primary data sources in this study were obtained through a literature review of various journals, books, and publications related to CAR. The analysis was conducted to identify data collection techniques commonly used in CAR, such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. In addition, this research also discusses data collection tools, including observation sheets, video recordings, and online survey applications. Challenges encountered in the data collection process, such as data validity, time constraints, and technical difficulties, were also identified and discussed. The results of the study show that selecting the right techniques and tools, along with effectively addressing challenges, is essential for improving the quality of classroom action research outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to explain how the implementation of the musaqah contract is reviewed in sharia economic law for rubber plantation cultivators in Pematang Duku village, Bengkalis sub-district, Bengkalis district. This research uses interview and documentation data collection techniques. Interviews were conducted with people who collaborate, namely between garden owners and gardeners. All data was analyzed inductively. From the research results, it turns out that the contract was carried out orally without any witnesses or written evidence and the time limit for the contract was not specified. Regarding the fulfillment of rights and obligations carried out by both parties, it is not in accordance with the agreement (contract) because the cultivator does not or does not fulfill the obligation to care for the rubber plantation where this obligation has been imposed on the rubber cultivator and was agreed upon at the time of the contract, this is very detrimental the garden owner. As for the implementation of profit sharing in the practice of musaqah contracts in Pematang Duku Village, viewed from Sharia Economic Law, in accordance with the initial agreement. However, from the profit sharing there is a profit that does not match what the garden owner expects because the cultivator's obligation to care for the garden has not been fulfilled

Abstract

This research discusses the Management of Social Assistance Funds in Improving Community Welfare from the perspective of Maqashid Syariah at the Bengkalis Regency Social Service. The main problem is how to analyze the accountability for managing social assistance funds at the Bengkalis Regency Social Service and how to analyze the accountability for managing social assistance funds at the Bengkalis Regency Social Service from a sharia maqashid perspective. The aim of this research is to analyze the accountability of the management of social assistance funds at the Bengkalis Regency Social Service and to analyze the accountability of the management of social assistance funds at the Bengkalis Regency Social Service from the perspective of maqashid sharia. This research is qualitative research. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Based on the results of the research, the government's role in improving the welfare of the community in sub-districts in Bengkalis Regency through Cash Social Assistance (BST) has been realized, but it is not yet optimal, as the obstacles that still occur are that implementation has not been carried out well and the distribution of aid has not been on target and Timeliness of distribution is uncertain. In Islamic economics, community welfare is measured by the fulfillment of all basic human needs, whereas cash social assistance is only temporary and can meet daily needs in approximately one to two weeks. The realization of Cash Social Assistance (BST) in improving the welfare of society from an Islamic economic perspective is in accordance with Islamic law

Abstract

This paper presents about the development of principal leadership based on total quality management. Total quality management is a practical yet strategic approach, in running the wheels of an organization that focuses on the needs of its customers and clients. The goal is to produce the desired quality of human resources. So that it can continuously improve learning services. This research is a library research using a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the development of principal leadership based on total quality management of a product of school education can be controlled and managed well and neatly arranged so that it can compete at the local and global levels. And can also adjust the needs with current conditions starting from decentralization and administrative functions which can support the implementation, supervision, evaluation of programs in educational units

Abstract

Zakat payment is one of the pillars of Islam that must be carried out by Muslims who have economic ability. However, there are still many Muslims who do not understand the importance of zakat and have not paid zakat properly. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence zakat payments to zakat institutions. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the factors that influence zakat payments to zakat institutions are understanding of zakat, economic ability, awareness of the importance of zakat, availability of information about zakat institutions, and trust in zakat institutions. This study is expected to contribute to the development of strategies to increase awareness and participation of Muslims in paying zakat to zakat institutions.

Abstract

This article discusses the values of inherited traditions from the perspective of the people in Pangkalan Nyirih Village, Rupat. This tradition is one of the customs that is still adhered to and preserved from generation to generation by the people of the village. This study used a qualitative descriptive method using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the tradition of descending to the ground is carried out by children aged 7-9 months or more to introduce them to nature (land) as a foothold. In addition, this tradition also contains a religious meaning which teaches that humans were created from soil and will return to it. In this tradition there are values such as hospitality, religious, and social. These values strengthen brotherhood, ask God for blessings and health, and promote cooperation and mutual cooperation in society. This article concludes that the tradition of descending from the ground has important values in shaping cultural identity and strengthening social relations in the people of Pangkalan Nyirih Village. The advice given is the need to maintain and preserve this tradition so that it can continue to be a valuable part of the cultural heritage of the local community

Abstract

The aim of organizational development, especially educational organizations, is the formation of educational organizations within the provincial and district/city governments, so that educational units at all types and levels are open and generate trust for educators and the community. The organization is open and generates trust for educators and their community. Organizational development interventions tend to emphasize the application of collaborative or interpersonal and group strategies in coordinative or vertical inter-organizational action, in keeping with the spirit of reinvention. In the restructuring of education organizations or reinvented education to improve the activities and programs of the Provincial, District and City Education Offices in carrying out routine activities it must be changed, no longer using a bureaucratic approach with a participatory approach. The paradigm of the education apparatus must be changed, so that it is in accordance with the spirit of implementing school-based management in schools. By giving a big role to schools in the spirit of change, schools have high creativity to compete in improving the quality and quality of education in these schools
