Abstract

Teaching materials is a set of instrument or learning instrument containing learning materials, methods, limitations, and how to evaluate systematically designed and attractive in order to achieve the expected goals of achieving competence or sub competence in all its complexity. The purpose of this paper to introduce B. tabaci which act as vectors CpMMV virus on soybean and its relation to the resilience of promising lines of soybean that can be used as teaching materials student. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden Jambegede, Malang. The results showed that the relationship between preference B. tabaci character CpMMV resistance is directly proportional, meaning that the increasing preference of Bemisia tabaci CpMMV will increase the intensity of attacks that can be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the important thinking skills in the XXI century. TIMSS results showed an average of reasoning ability and application domains are relatively low. One learning model which mandated 2013 curriculum is the implementation of guided inquiry require the participation of learning resources such as interactive multimedia. This study aims to determine the effect of interactive multimedia-assisted guided inquiry towards critical thinking skills. This study is a Quasi Experiment. The study population was all students in SMA Negeri 1 Sumberrejo the school year of 2015/2016 with a sample of students in class XI IPA 1, IPA 2, and IPA 5. The study was conducted in April-May 2016. The instrument in the form of critical thinking skills test. Data were analyzed with covariance (Anacova). The results showed that the interactive multimedia-assisted guided inquiry affect the students' critical thinking skills. LSD test results show the critical thinking skills of students increased by 400,2% in the class of gieded inquiry and 416.8% in class multimedia-assisted guided inquiry.

Abstract

Bryopsida or mosses is one of diversities which takes an important role in life, for example take an important role to absorb water, oxygen supplier and being habitat for other organism. This research aimed to know the diversity of various mosses at Tahura R Soerjo. This research conducted from February to April 2016 used a survey method of a free random approach. The identification is based on structure gametophyte, especially leaf morphology, because the sporophyte not always be seen. The result of the research are 25 species of mosses, that will be arranged becomes supplement for Biology student in State University of Malang.

Abstract

The material is considered to be still difficult mostly related to the mechanism of action of the organ. SMP 18 Malang used as a place to study because there are elements of inquiry has actually been used by teachers, but still fragmentary, syntactic inquiry has not been implemented in full. Learning science most are still using the conventional method of the lectures. The medium used there only rely on manual print books, there module be accompanied inquiry interactive multimedia no one has made. Inquiry-based modules with interactive multimedia expected to be used to support student learning. This type of research is the development of research. The research model development using Thiagarajan. Stages Thiagarajan models include define, design, develop, and desseminate. However on hold at the stage of development research desseminate. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed 82.14% of matter expert validation, validation media experts 83.33%, teachers validation 98.88%, validation students 94.19%. Based on the achievement of product development validation results are valid and fit for use. Suggestions that more needs to be done should be printed and manufactured product development.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are the embodiment ability due to changes in current behavior of education. Improving the quality of education can be the beginning of the learning process in which there are iteration between teachers and students. Teachers must create strategies to facilitate students with different abilities to be active in learning. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through strategies TASC combined iMindMap. Research was conducted at SMAN 4 Sidoarjo 2015/2016 school year, the class X MIA 3 by the number of students 39. The research was quasi experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The results obtained showed that the mean score on the pretest of student learning outcomes by 60 and increased the posttest with a mean score of 84. Mastery learning outcomes of students reached 97%. Based on the results of this study concluded that learning strategies TASC combined with iMindMap can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is conducted due to the problems faced by the fifth graders of Ampelgading 01 Public Elementary School. They find difficulties in understanding social science subject, indicated by students’ learning outcomes. Only 5% students of class pass the Minimum Passing Criteria of 70. Teacher-centered learning decreases the interaction between teachers and students and students with students, which related to the development of social skills such. Therefore, interactive learning model is needed to build good classroom atmosphere and improve students’ interactions. One model of interactive learning is a Make a Match.This research used quantitative and quasi-experiment methods, Quasi-experimental design used is nonequivalent control group design, using independent t-test assisted with SPSS 16 software for data analysis.The research result presents following the treatment in experimental class using cooperative teaching model ‘Make a Match’ using slide share, average grade of posttest obtained from control group is 66,15 while the experimental class gained the average of 75,18; control class obtained social skills scores with the average of 45 and 61 for experimental class. t test result indicates the cognitive learning measured from gain score of pretest and posttest have significant value of 0.000 and social skills shows significant value of 0.000. It is known that 0.000> 0.05, indicates that is related to the effect of cooperative teaching model ‘Make a Match’ using slide share to the social science cognitive and social skill.

Abstract

This study aimed to explain the relationship between independent variables, intervening variable and dependent variable, namely prakerin experience (X_1), insight to work world (X_2), honesty competence (X_3), employability skill (X_4), and work readiness (Y) with the subject of students SMK in Probolinggo. This study is included in quantitative research. Analysis technique used was path analysis with trimming mode. Population of this research were all students SMK in the City and District of Probolinggo grade XII TKJ academic year 2015-2016. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) prakerin experience, insight to world of work, honesty competence, employability skill and work readiness of students SMK in the City and District of Probolinggo is included into good category (2) There is a significant influence and positive between prakerin experience, work world insight and honesty competence towards employability skill; (3) There is a significant influence between prakerin experience, work world insight and honest competence towards work readiness through employability skill.

Abstract

Learning science in junior high school in general is focused on mastery of concepts and basic science has not yet developed abilities, such as the ability berinkuiri. Therefore, it is necessary to find the appropriate steps to improve the process of learning science. The purpose of the study iniuntuk improve learning outcomes by using the skill aspect of inquiry learning model level. The method used in this research is mixed method. The instrument used is the syllabus, lesson plans, and the observation sheet keterampilan.Teknik data collection using observation. Aspects of data analysis skills using data reduction method, coding and interpretation. Results of research conducted on 36 students showed the ability berinkuiri learners increased by using the model level of inquiry. Results of learners aspect of overall skill increases with the good category. The conclusion from this study that the use of models level of inquiry to improve the ability berinkuiri learners and improve learning outcomes aspects of science skills of learners.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of environment-based guided inquiry learning model on scientific process skills and mastery of science concept in ecosystem topic. The study was utilized quasy experimental design. Population in this study was seventh grade student in SMP Negeri 4 Kopang. Instrument used in the form of multiple choice and essay tests. The result showed that there were difference of science process skills and the mastery of concept between students who studying by environment-based guided inquiry learning model and conventional learning model.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to produce guided inquiry-based teaching materials; in ecosystem topic using Lahor lake as learning source, for increasing science process skills cognitive learning outcomes of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Selorejo Blitar. Teaching materials developed are the syllabus, lesson plans, handouts, and worksheets. 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) research and develop. Teaching materials was validated by a experts validator and teacher, and then test the individual and small-scale trials. Validation and readness test show that teaching materials developed have high gain validation score (mean ≥ 90). This means that teaching materials developed are very feasible to use in learning. The level of adherence learning reached 85%. The score of science process skills of students is in good category. The cognitive learning outcomes reached minimum mastery standart. Thus the developed teaching materials can enhance science process skills and cognitive learning outcomes of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Selorejo Blitar.
