Stilistika adalah kajian linguistik terhadap teks sastra dan non-sastra. Artikel inimembahas analisis stilistika semiotik terhadap puisi dengan Systemic FunctionalLinguistics dan Verbal Art Semiotics. Pembahasan dilakukan melalui kajian pustaka dananalisis dokumen, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif and pendekatan intrinsikobjektif. Data pembahasan berupa data kualitatif. Analisis semantik menghasilkan maknaautomatized dan foregrounded. Makna pertama menghasilkan kohesi leksikal yangmenghasilkan pokok pembicaraan. Besides being one of the efforts to have texts transformed into Indonesian,this article also aims at studying and describing the pitutur, or values reflectinggood character, in the Javanese text Tiyang Tani lan Tikus.The text Tiyang Tani lan Tikus (TTT) is one of the texts contained in thecodex Serat Dongeng Warni-Warni and belongs to the category of literarymanuscripts. The codex is part of a collection stored at the library of Sana Budaya,Yogyakarta, given the code number PB C 154 71 Rol. 144 No. 13. The manuscriptis in prose using Javanese orthography. It tells a story but the time of its writing andthe name of the person who copied it in writing are not mentioned. However, inview of the condition of the paper used, it could be estimated that it was written inthSurakarta early in the 20 century.The essential values of good character contained in the story of TiyangTani lan Tikus are of (1) simplicity in life, (2) empathy, (3) softness of heart, (4)loyalty or faithfulness, (5) spirit of togetherness, (6) love toward others, and (7)frugality. All those values could be developed into material for the teaching ofvalues to children. This is an important matter because, in one's development,childhood is a sensitive period for the optimum development of somepsychological aspects if the environment could give adequate stimulation. Storiesor fables told to children could become a means of stimulating the development ofsome psychological aspects of children so that they could hopefully gain theuppermost boundary of their range of potential development.Keywords: Javanese classical fables, values of good character

This article describes titles of drama scripts or theatre performances in Indonesiareviewed in Tempo in 2001-2005. The data resources were review articles on theatres in themagazine recorded in a compact disc. The data were collected by sorting all the articles,categorizing them based on the problems, reading them carefully, and making notes onthem. The data were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative technique. The findingsshowed that theatre performances in Indonesia reviewed in Tempo in 2001-2005 included:11 foreign scripts, 7 translation scripts, 8 adaptation scripts, 29 purely Indonesian scripts,2 Javanese scripts, and 7 articles on theatres. The number of foreign, translation, andadaptation scripts was 26. This number was almost the same as that of purely Indonesianscripts (and Javanese scripts) which was 31, so that the ratio was 26:31. The findingsshowed that Tempo, in terms of its theatre orientation, reviewed domestic and foreigntheatres equally.Keywords: theatre performance, theatre column, review, Tempo magazine.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mana yang yang lebih efektif antara:(1) Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) dan Cooperative Learning Approach(CLA),(2) Task-Based Language Teaching(TBLT) dan Cooperative Learning Approach, dan (3)Communicative Language Teaching dan Task-Based Language Teaching dan (4) yang palingefektif antara Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Language Teaching danCooperative Learning Approach dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara mahasiswaUniversitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengannonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswasemester 5 Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo, tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sample dipilihmenggunakan teknik simplecluster random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan onewayANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan UjiScheffe. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)Communicative Language Teaching lebih efektif daripada Cooperative Learning Approachdalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara, dengan nilai mean difference = 10.08920, (2)Task-Based Language Teaching lebih efektif daripada Cooperative Learning Approachdalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara, dengan nilai mean difference = 19.42360,dan (3) Task-Based Language Teaching lebih efektif daripada Communicative LanguageTeaching dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara, dengan nilai mean difference =9.33440 dan (4) Task-Based Language Teaching paling efektif diantara ketiga pendekatanyang diteliti.Kata Kunci: Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Language Teaching,Cooperative Learning Approach

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) proses kreatif Dee Lestari dalam menulis serial Supernova, (2) faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi Dee Lestari dalam menulis serial Supernova, (3) wujud proses kreatif Dee Lestari dalam menulis serial Supernova, dan (4) teknik penceritaan Dee Lestari dalam menulis serial Supernova. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data berupa wawancara dengan narasumber dan novel serial Supernova. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca catat dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif yang terdiri atas memilih data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tahapan proses kreatif Dee Lestari terbagi menjadi empat tahapan yakni tahapan persiapan, inkubasi, iluminasi dan verifikasi. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi proses kreatif terbagi atas faktor internal terdiri atas suasana hati, pengalaman hidup, imajinasi dan intuisi. Sementara faktor eksternal terdiri atas jenis kelamin, umur, pandangan hidup, latar belakang sosial dan budaya serta dorongan menulis. Wujud proses kreatif dalam menulis serial Supernova terdiri atas empat elemen yakni tema, alur, latar, dan penokohan. Teknik penceritaan dalam menulis serial Supernova terbagi atas lima teknik, yakni teknik pemandangan, adegan, montase, kolase, dan asosiasi.Kata Kunci: proses kreatif, pengarang, kajian ekspresif, serial Supernova CREATIVE PROCESS OF DEE LESTARI IN WRITING SUPERNOVA SERIES (AN EXPRESSIVE STUDY) ABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal (1) Dee Lestari's creative process in writing the Supernova series, (2) the factors that influence Dee Lestari in writing the Supernova series, (3) the creative process of Dee Lestari in writing the Supernova series, and (4) the technique telling Dee Lestari in writing the Supernova series. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The sources of data in this study were interviews with resource persons and serial novels Supernova. Data collection was done by reading note technique and interview. Data analysis in this study used qualitative descriptive consisting of selecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the stage of the creative process Dee Lestari was divided into four stages of preparation stage, incubation stage, illumination stage and verification stage. Factors that affect Dee Lestari's creative process are divided into internal factors comprising mood, life experience, imagination and intuition, while external factors consist of gender, age, life view, social and cultural background and writing impulse. The creative process of Dee Lestari in writing the Supernova series consists of four elements, namely theme, plot, background, and characterization. Dee Lestari's storytelling technique in writing the Supernova series is divided into five techniques, namely scenery, scene, montage, collage, and association techniques.Keywords: creative process, author, expressive study, Supernova series
