Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how many orders for raw materials for Moringa leaves in order to get optimal costs using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method that occurred at CV. Atlantic in Tanjung Ara Village, Tanah Jambo Aye District, North Aceh District. Primary data was obtained by observation, interviews using direct questionnaires with respondents. Secondary data was obtained through journals, books and company records for one year (January-December 2022). In this study has one sample, namely the owner or director of CV. Atlantic. The determination of the sample used in the study used the case study method where the number of samples taken only came from internal informants, namely the Director and Deputy Director of CV.Atlantic. The data analysis method used in this study is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock (SS) and Re Order Point (ROP) methods. The research results obtained on the EOQ method were as much as 32.16 kg with a frequency of purchasing moringa leaf raw materials 16 times in one year. The total cost of raw material inventory based on CV. Atlantic which is Rp 7,378,764.00, while based on calculations using the EOQ method the total cost of raw material inventory for moringa leaves is Rp 580,731.25 so using the EOQ method CV. Atlantic can save as much cost Rp 6,789,032.75. Safety Stock based on the EOQ method of 2.35 kg / month of moringa leaf raw material. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the results of the trend of shallot production in North Sumatra in 2021-2030 whether it will increase or not. The data used in this research is secondary data. The object of research in this study is statistical data on the annual shallot production in North Sumatra Province at the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for 2011-2020. The appropriate research method in this study uses the trend parabola. This is because the trend parabola has the smallest Mean Squared Error (MSE) value of 4,215,734.62 and the smallest percentage of Mean Absolute Precentage Error (MAPE) is 2.1% compared to other methods. The results showed that forecasting shallot production in North Sumatra Province has increased. There is a deficit between shallot consumption and production, for this reason it is necessary to breed shallot seeds, and increase the area of shallot plantations in North Sumatra Province to increase shallot production and productivity so as to be able to meet the demand for shallot consumption in North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

The land is an important natural resource because land management functions to produce a valuable product and the land itself has economic value. One way to determine the value of factors of production originating from nature such as land is to use the concept of land rent. Rejang Lebong Regency is an area of citrus plantation development. the interest of farmers to plant oranges is quite high but limited land causes farmers to convert coffee fields into citrus fields. the purpose of this study was to determine the value of land rent from coffee and citrus fields on conversion land. The study was conducted in August - December 2019 in Pal VII Village, Bermani Uluraya District, Rejang Lebong Regency. census data was collected on 40 farmers. The respondent's criteria are to have a citrus crop that is already produced on the conversion land. Data were analyzed based on von Thunens's theory, namely land rent based on the market approach. The results showed that the value of land rent of citrus plants is greater than the value of the land rent of coffee plants.

Abstract

Mung bean production in Demak Regency is an export commodity to the Asian region which began to be developed more than 10 years ago, demand for exports is open as much as possible. Efforts to meet the demand required accuracy of quality and competitive production. For this reason, knowing the green bean supply chain is necessary. This research aims to analyze the product, money, and information flow of green beans in the Demak Regency. Using a descriptive research method using Purpose Sampling, research respondents in 3 districts had the most significant harvest area in the last 3 (three) years. The results showed that product flow consisted of 3 streams, namely 1) P – PP – PP/D – PB and K; 2) P - PP - PB - SE and 3) P - PP - SE, financial flows, namely consumers to production input shops and Exporter Suppliers to production input shops, while the flow of information runs from downstream to upstream and from upstream to downstream from farmers to exporters and vice versa as well as from farmers to consumers.

Abstract

The agricultural sector of West Java Province has a strategic function as a national food barn and supports the needs of basic foodstuffs, especially rice. However, on the other hand, the production of rice and most of the agricultural sector commodities of West Java Province continues to decline. It aims to analyze the contribution of the agricultural sector and the agricultural subsector. Analyze and classify the position of the agricultural subsector. Analyze and classify the growth and competitiveness of agricultural subsectors.  Analyze and identify the agricultural subsectors that are being developed.  The data analysis consists of Contribution Analysis (Share), Klassen Typology Analysis, Shift Share Analysis, Static Location Quotient Analysis, and Dynamic Location Quotient Analysis in the period of research analysis, namely 2010-2019.    The results showed that the overall agricultural sector contribution was 8.11%, the largest contribution was the food crop subsector 3.69%, horticultural crop subsector 1.58%, livestock 1.06%, fisheries 0.85%, plantation crops 0.73%, and the smallest forestry 0.08%. The food crops and horticultural crops subsector is positioned as an advanced but depressed subsector, while the plantation, livestock, forestry, and fisheries subsector as a subsector is relatively lagging.  The fisheries subsector has faster growth, while the food crops, horticultural crops, plantation crops, animal husbandry, and forestry subsectors have slower growth, and the entire agricultural subsector has less competitiveness.  The food crops and horticultural crops subsector is the leading subsector, but all agricultural subsectors have the potential for slower development in the future. The results of this study are expected to be input and consideration for the West Java Provincial Government in developing policies related to agricultural development.

Abstract

The objectives study is determining the price-forming market between the producer and consumer markets of shallots, garlic, and large red chilies in Indonesia. Analyze the transmission of commodity prices of shallots, garlic, and large red chili at the level of producers to consumers. Analyze the length of time for adjusting the price of shallots, garlic, and red chilies at the price level of producer and consumers in Indonesia. Indonesia was chosen as the object of research because Indonesia which have fluctuating prices. Transmission analysis was performed using an error correction (ECM) model. In the ECM, short-term imbalances for short-term unbalanced adjustments and long-term equilibrium adjustments. The results of this study show price changes in shallot commodities occur at the producer level while in garlic and red chili commodities, price changes occur at the consumer level. In the process of transmitting shallot prices in Indonesia, the adjustment of chili prices at the consumer level experienced a lag of 5.7%, garlic commodities adjustments in garlic prices at the produce level n experienced a lag of 7.7% and in commodity onion prices the adjustment of chili prices at the producer level experienced a lag of 7% towards a long-term price balance. The long-term relationship shows that if at the time of the increase price in consumers rises, the price of chili at the producer level will also rise. The value of the ECT coefficient explains that the adjustment between the long-term correctable is 3.3%, 4.5% and 2%. This means that price adjustments to the price balance conditions on the commodity of shallots, garlic and large red chili in Indonesia take a period of 2 months.
