DVC became one of the most phenomenal novel with the best selling in the world and became the subject of discussion amongits readers, including Christians scholars.Dealing with the novel, there are three groups to response. First, the opinion believes that Jesus was just an ordinary man who descends from ‘Merovongian dynasti’ of Mary Magdalena, as the Holy Grail, and that opinion does not disseminate the belief. Abstract

Abstract

Tafsir (exegesis) scholars traced in the Nusantara archipelago, will not be separated from the figure of ‘Abdurrauf al-Fansuri with his Tarjuman alMustafid. Through this work, tafsir had been developed through many media teaching until today. This work also allegedly gave birth to a variety of tafsir model and methodology of qur’anic interpretation in the archipelago. At least two aspects of the interpretation gives birth to the scholars transmission; and to development of the science of interpretation. Firstly, through the activities of teaching; and secondly, through writings. Through these two transmission lines the network of interpretation, until today continues to progress well.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to uncover Islamic life of Baduypeople, who are divided into three: Baduy Dalam(internal Baduy) which iscalled Tangtu, and Baduy Luar (external Baduy)which is divided into twotribes i.e. Panampingand Dangka. Compared to other first two Baduys,Baduy Dangka is more intensive in having Islamization. However, in fact, all Baduys have close relations to Islam, due to their original principle theso-called Sunda Wiwitan, or Slam Sunda Wiwitan. Nevertheless, SundaWiwitan (Slam Sunda Wiwitan) is still simple and sincretic. Even thoughone of Baduy is Islamizing itself, the relationship with other Baduys isrespectable, and religious toleration in between them is well-mannered aswell.
