Abstract

Modelling of the water flow distribution in Cilacap’s water, Indonesia is challenged by geographically properties. This area is a strait adjacent to Indian Ocean with a strong current flow characteristic. A three‐dimensional model has been developed to understand the pattern of the flow and the sediment distribution in this waters. The parameters used in modeling includes hydro-oceanography, such as tidal, river discharge, bathymetry and sediment. River discharge that used came from Donan and Yasa River. In this research current and sediments model will be makes using numerical simulation with hydrodynamics equations. Based on the hydrodynamic simulation, at the spring tide period, the average and the maximum current magnitude are 0.6m/s and 0.8m/s respectively. But at this time the cumulative erosion/sedimentation is not too large. During the neap tide, the average current magnitude is 0.2 m/s and the sediment is moving significant at river. So in this time experience a great erosion/sedimentation. The dominant type of sediment in this waters is a type of sand. The sediment deposition in this area affects the shipping lane, particularly in the vicinity of the jetty.

Abstract

Bioethanol is one of alternative renewable energy that can be produced by distillation process. Distillation itself is a method of separation and purification that most widely used in the chemical industry. Nowadays, distillation equipment that is commonly used in the industry is sieve tray tower due to its affordable in cost and simplicity in design. Its performance can be improved by the addition of packing on the tray can improve efficiency. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the developed steel wool packing in sieve tray distillation with regards to the bioethanol purity. Our results showed that the addition of the developed packing in each tray significantly increased the concentration of ethanol up to 99.5%

Abstract

The reservoir is the tendon of water in order to accommodate the excess rain water in the rainy season and its utilization in the dry season for various purposes, both in the field of agriculture as well as the interests of the community. To find out the cause of the crack wall of the reservoir Pilangbango Madiun, East Java, then do the test strongly press on concrete walls and soil investigations on the area of the reservoir. Spunpile 400 mm in diameter used by the mounting distance 200 cm and a depth of 12 m and pole mounted on the heels of concrete walls. Manual calculation of the results and analysis of the Finite Element program it can be concluded that in the presence of an additional retaining her 400 spunpile mm using a distance 200 cm and a depth of 12 m, retaining wall construction is then quite able to hold style pillow case and Sliding with style has a safety factor more than 1.5. So the movement of the sliding walls do not happen again.

Abstract

Studi ini membahas tentang kajian ship-to-ship sebagai bagian dari rantai pasok liquified natural gas (LNG) untuk kebutuhan pembangkit listrik yang tersebar di Indonesia Bagian Timur (IBT). Keinginan pemerintah untuk memanfaatkan gas bumi dalam bentuk LNG sebagai bahan bakar alternatif pada pembangkit listrik yang telah ada maupun pembangkit yang telah ada di IBT memerlukan sarana dan prasarana berupa stasiun penerima maupun kapal-kapal LNG skala kecil. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi untuk mendistribusikan gas dari sumber LNG ke pembangkit-pembangkit adalah LNG yang akan diambil dari kilang hanya dapat dilakukan oleh kapal besar karena fasilitas jetty yang pada awalnya memang didesain hanya dapat menerima kapal berukuran besar. Metode yang diusulkan pada studi ini adalah LNG diambil oleh kapal LNG berukuran besar yang dapat dilayani oleh jetty yang kemudian akan ditransfer ke kapal LNG yang berukuran kecil (small LNG vessel) melalui konsep ship-to-ship (STS) transfer. STS direncanakan dilakukan dimana LNG carrier berukuran besar ditambatkan dengan sistem penambatan tunggal, kemudian small LNG vessel berlabuh di sisi kapal LNG besar dengan bertambat pada 4 tali tambat. Pada dasarnya kajian STS ini terdiri dari dua tahap diantaranya adalah pemilihan lokasi STS dan analisa motion pada saat STS dilakukan. Ada 4 lokasi yang dipertimbangkan sebagai lokasi STS diantaranya adalah Fakfak, Manokwari, Namlea, dan Halmahera. Pada studi ini, kapal LNG ukuran 155.000 m3 dan shuttle LNG vessel ukuran 3000 m3 adalah objek dalam kajian STS pada studi ini. Analisa terhadap gerakan yang mungkin terjadi saat proses STS dilakukan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak MOSES. Teknik prediksi tiga dimensi (three-dimensional prediction technique) digunakan pada studi ini untuk memperkirakan floating body motions dalam short-crested seaway. Berdasarkan data lingkungan mengacu pada metocean data yang terdiri dari data angin, gelombang, dan arus, Fakfak terpilih sebagai lokasi terbaik untuk dilakukannya STS transfer dan hasil simulasi mendapatkan bahwa STS transfer di Fakfak aman untuk dilakukan selama proses STS transfer dilakukan pada tinggi gelombang 2m

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology which render visual information such as three-dimensional (3-D) virtual objects and allow users to interact with virtual and real object at the same time. This technology can help student to learn intuitively and interactively through simulation which is equipped with AR. This paper discusses the physic simulation such as force, gravity, friction, spring, gears and chain through AR. The system that we built is deployed on mobile platform specifically Android based devices and based on marker-less AR. Instead of a black-and-white square marker, we use image corresponding the context to trigger and visualize the simulation. By simply touch the correspondent image, student can interact and alter the course of the physic simulation.

Suatu negara perlu memperhatikan tingkat kemakmuran bangsanya, sebab dengan demikian maka negara tersebut akan mengalami banyak kemajuan dalam tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. masyarakat. Dari hal tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa peranan mencetak wirausaha sangat memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan. Jadi generasi penerus bangsa perlu dikembangkan Indonesia mempunyai cita-cita dalam mencapai keadilan bagi masyarakatnya, sehingga cita-cita ini harus diterjemahkan dalam visi dan misi yang ada. Dalam banyak tulisan baik dalam surat kabar maupun penelitian, masalah perekonomian sering mendapatkan sorotan. Usaha Kecil Menengah adalah salah satu bentuk upaya pemerintah dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja guna mencapai tingkat kesejahteraan menjadi entrepreneur, yang mana dapat ditempuh melalui jalur pendidikan tinggi, yaitu adanya mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Prestasi wirausahawan tentu perlu disimak pula. Pendidikan kewirausahaan di Indonesia masih kurang memperoleh perhatian yang cukup memadai, baik oleh dunia pendidikan maupun masyarakat. Banyak pendidik yang kurang memperhatikan penumbuhan karakter dan perilaku wirausaha peserta didik, baik di sekolah-sekolah kejuruan, maupun di pendidikan profesional. Orientasi mereka, pada umumnya hanya pada menyiapkan tenaga kerja. Untuk itu, perlu dicari penyelesaiannya, bagaimana pendidikan dapat berperan untuk mengubah manusia menjadi manusia yang memiliki karakter dan atau perilaku wirausaha.Banyak penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa peranan literasi keuangan khususnya akuntansi sangat lemah, padahal pelaporan Untuk pengembangan modal usaha, perluasan produksi tentu membutuhkan dana tambahan, yang dapat diupayakan melalui ekonomi dari hasil usaha adalah mutlak diperlukan. kredit usaha misalnya perbankan. Abstract

The phenomenon of voltage and or current harmonic distortion often occurs in industrial electrical system. The harmonic distortion waveforms are caused by non-linear loads. Active power filters can reduce harmonic distortion on almost any harmonic order that appears. The p-q theory is a widely used method to calculate harmonic reference currents that required. This paper proposes an active power filter controlling method that can determine the desired harmonic order to be compensated specifically. Through this method, only the desired harmonic order will be compensated. This proposed method increases the effectiveness of p-q theory in the calculation of current harmonic suppression. the simulation results show that the proposed method can suppress the desired harmonics to be compensated, ie 3rd order from THD 30% to 0.46%, while in 5th order from 10% to 0.09%.

Abstract

The importance of usability can determine the success or failure of the web application. Conventional approaches of usability evaluation methods only consider the average score from usability assessment which represents the frequency of problems from users when using the website. Another approach to measure the impact of usability factors can be calculated using the method of Partial Least Square. The case study show that combining between this two approaches (average score of usability assessment and impact of usability factors) can be considered for decision makers in prioritizing factors usability.

Abstract

Globalization in higher education has a direct impact on competition among universities in Indonesiawhich becomes keener. The competition motivates each university to continuously improve its quality. The existence of the Internet creates electronic communications and this is the beginning of the term Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM). Electronic word of mouth has become a phenomenon that is essential to the improvement of the image in a company / organization / institution. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of someone’s motivation who engaged in electronic word of mouth to enhance the image of the college. This research used quantitative method by analyzing the data using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SEM is review the multivariate analysis of variables or using scale nominal / ratio. Research shows that people are motivated to do eWOM because positive self enhancement, to helping the company, and advice seeking. The findings suggest that eWOM positive and significant effect on the image of the college.
