Abstract

This article aims to analyze the transportation performance in logistics of perishable foods in Greater Bandung and to identify the product loss of mushrooms and cabbages. It can be concluded that the main factors influencing the performance of transportation for perishable foods are: (1) Transportation operating hours adjusted to harvest time and market opening time, (2) Trip routes divided by 2 are using the shortest/ closest route and using a toll road, (3) Type of vehicle depend on the scale of production, the scale of the order and the distance of the trip, (4) the sale of products from farmers according to the nearest market location. Transportation cost contributes about 2-5% of product price. And, main factor of transportation cost is load factor. For cabbage, there is a 20% product loss from farmers to traders in central/ traditional markets.

Abstract

In order to realize public accountability, the program study must actively build an internal quality assurance system. To prove that the internal quality assurance system has been implemented properly and correctly, the program study must be accredited by an external quality assurance institution. Criteria for evaluating commitments in accreditation are outlined in number of standards and are presented by programs study in instruments of forms. The problem that arises is that data/ documents for the process of supporting accreditation forms are not all available in the Program Study so they still have to involve other units to obtain them. The purpose of this study is to design a data management system to prepare the availability of data / documents to support the process of preparing accreditation forms. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method is used with the waterfall model in designing this system. This research has produced an application system called Dokumen Akreditasi Online which is oriented towards standards of accreditation form. Overall the results of testing the system functionality shows that all features in the application can be run. The results of measuring the level of user satisfaction amounted to 75.27% which means that users are satisfied with this system. Thus, the need to prepare for accreditation is faster and easier and useful for other administrative needs.

Abstract

National defense is all efforts to maintain the national sovereignty, the territorial integrity of a state and the safety of all nations from threats and disruption to the integrity of the state. It is important because the strength of the country lies in its defense, which will affect national development. As a national defense industry, PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (PT DI) is responsible for providing defense equipment for its users; Ministry of Defense and the Indonesian National Armed Forces. The product sales contribute 61,79% to the total sales revenue for company. However, this percentage is still far as the targeted then PT DI needs another strategies in order to maintain its business. Since the last 5 years, PT DI only focused on military products. On the other hand, PT DI cannot depend only on sales from military product because there is still high possibility contract cancellation due to changes the policy, the products do not meet as the requirements, or lack of budget. The main problem faced by PT DI is decreasing percentage of aircraft sales. Therefore PT DI needs expanding their market by producing N219 and N245 aircraft for commercial configuration as one of the company's development methods. However to produce new products, PT DI will face main problem that is how PT DI enters the commercial market to increase sales of N219 and N245. The analysis using both internal and external analysis. The company's internal analysis consists of STP analysis and Marketing Mix. Moreover for external analysis, the authors using PESTEL analysis, Porter's 5 forces analysis, competitor analysis, and customer analysis. It is found different perspectives between current marketing mix of PT DI with customer perspectives related to N219 and N245 aircrafts. The existing marketing mix is not optimal and effective. The new propose marketing strategy which consist of product, price, place, and promotion are need to overcome this issue

Abstract

Every company is vulnerable to bankruptcy, including banking industry. Bankruptcy of a bank will have an effect on other industries, because it as intermediation institution. If the intermediation process is stalled, the payment system will stall and disturb economic activities. Therefore research about indicator to predict the bankruptcy is important. Risk management must be implemented to detect and manage risk arising from bank operations. Banks can manage bankruptcy risk from the efficiency side. This study focus on the effect financial ratio (Return on Assets and Equity to Total Assets), size bank, and macroeconomic to bankruptcy predictions. Most of the bank's revenue from credit, it is on the asset side in the balanced sheet. If the bank has small assets then potentially have financial distress. The paper aims to conceptually and based on theoretical review studies. There are signaling and efficiency theory as basic theories related with these concept. By classifying the result of previous research, found some propositions: Return on Asset, Equity to Total Asset, Size Bank, Inflation and Gross Domestic Product are able to predict bank bankruptcy. The research believes that the proposition of this study result can be tested empirically mainly in banking industry

Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia is surrounded by three continental plates which cause the emergence of earthquake pathways, a series of active mountains throughout Indonesia, and the inevitable tsunami. Considering the large potential and risks arising from such natural disasters, disaster mitigation is important to minimize the risk, one of which is through humanitarian logistics. Pangandaran Regency is the focus of this study given that in 2018, Pangandaran is the 16th most disaster-prone area out of 514 districts/cities in Indonesia and the 5th out of 27 districts/cities in West Java. It would be a high risk if mitigation, preparation, and logistics response in Pengandaran is not well planned. The focus of this research is to determine the strategic location of disaster emergency response warehouse placement with the Set Covering Problem algorithm and determine the optimal route to the location of refuge using the Nearest Neighborhood Heuristics, Local Search, and Simulated Annealing algorithms.
