Abstract

Abstract.The aims of this study was: (1) to explain the implementing of PBI (Problem Based Instruction) models with Performance Assessment in the surface area and volume of cube and beamsat VIII-A Class of Junior High School 1 Jenggawah Jember at even semester of 2012/2013 academic years; (2) to analyze students’ activities during teaching learning process by using of PBI (Problem Based Instruction) models with Performance Assessment; (3) to analyze the result of students’ achievement after implementing of PBI (Problem Based Instruction) models with Performance.The research design used Classroom Action Research (CAR).The research subject was 37 students in class VIII-A of SMP Negeri 1 Jenggawah. Data collection method was observation, interview, test, and documentation.In the first cycle, completeness the student learning outcomes classically is 59,46%. And the second cycle, completeness the student learning outcomes classically is 89,19%. So the increase of the both cycle classically above was 30,37%. Abstract

Abstract.The research purpose is to know the process and result of development of mathematics learning instruments based on contextual teaching and learning by setting of cooperative learning jigsaw for rhombus and kitestopic at seventh grade of junior high school. The products refer to the component of contextual teaching and learningand phases of jigsaw. Learning instrumentsdevelopment model refers to 4D Thiagarajanmodels which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate.This research has fourproducts namely lesson plan, worksheet,student book and evaluation test. Based on the validation process and try out of learning sets can be concluded that the learning sets have satisfied of the validity, practice, and effective criteria. The data collection methods used in this research is, test interview, documentation, observation,and questionnaire. Abstract

Abstract.Problem solving abilityshould be trainedandtaughtbyteacher to a vocational studentwhois preparedtoplungeintothe world of work. One effortto trainstudents'problem solving abilityisPolya’smodel. Polyamodelconsistsoffour stages:understanding theproblem, makingthe completion ofthe plan, implementthe plan, andre-examine. The purposeof this study is todetermine the problem solving ability of SMK IbuPakusari’s multimedia studentson the subject oflinear program. Data collection methodusedis the method oftesting, interviews, anddocumentation. From the researchit can be concludedthat the percentage of students in problem solving ability is high, medium, low on stage to understand the problem is75%, 12,5%, 12,5%. For the percentage of students on stage the completion ofthe plan is 40,63%, 18,75% ,40,62%. On stage implementthe plan is 46,87%, 18,75%, 34,38%. As for the re-examine is 37,5%, 34,38%, 28,12%. Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to know the application of M-APOS for overcome student’s mistakes aboutvolume of cube and cuboidtopic at eight grade of juniorhigh school. M-APOS is development of APOS theory. M-APOS using ACE teaching cycle that consists of three components: activities, classroom discussion, and exercises. The subject of research is students of VIII E class SMPN 7 Jember in even semester academic year 2012/ 2013. The kinds of student’s mistakes consist of error using data, error of theorem or definition, technical errors, and another mistakes. This research design is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and the method of data collecting using observation, interview, test and documentation. The result of research indicate that the result of learning activity increase of student’s activity of cycle I reach 82,2% and cycle II reach 85,8%. While the student’s mistakes at cycle I reach 17,4% and cycle II 8,55%. So, the mode of teaching can increase student’s activity and decrease the student’s mistakes. Abstract

Abstract.There are manystudentswhohave difficultyin solvingmath problems. Difficultiesresulted instudentsmaking mistakein solvingproblems.The kinds of student’s mistakes consist of the use of data errors, error of theorem or definition, technical errors, language interpretation errorsand another errors. Therefore, appliedcooperative learning modelof jigsaw type toovercome thestudent’smistakes in solvingthe Algebraic Factorization problems at eighthgradeSMP Negeri 11 Jemberacademic year2013/2014. This research design is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Basedon this research,the application ofcooperative learning modelof jigsaw type canincrease the activity ofstudentsanddecreasestudent’s mistakesin solvingAlgebraic Factorization.The percentage ofeffectivenesson the first cycle of 43.23 % and 33.05 % for the second cycle . So it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model of jigsaw type is effective enough to overcome student’s mistakesin solving Algebraic Factorization. Abstract

Abstrak. Belajar adalah suatu aktivitas mental/psikis yang berlangsung dalam interaksi yang aktif dengan lingkungan, yang menghasikan perubahan-perubahan dalam pengetahuan, pemahaman, ketrampilan dan nilai sikap. sehingga hasil dari belajar mahasiswadapat diartikan sebagai aktivitas mahasiswa dalam lingkungan. lingkungan yang maksud dapat berupa lingkungan dalam kelas pada saat proses pembelajaran dan dapat berupa pembelajaran berbasis e-learning yaitu dengan memanfaatkan e-learning dalam pemahaman materi. Web enhanced course merupakan salah satu cara pemanfaatan ict yaitu pemanfaatan internet untuk pendidikan, ntuk menunjang peningkatan kualitas kegiatan pembelajaran secara tatap muka di kelas. pembelajaran berbasis ict dengan menggunakan e-learning dapat dikatakan salah satu terapan dari authentic assessment karena sumber belajar tidak hanya buku wajib, cara pembelajaran tidak hanya di dalam kelas tetapi bias dilakukan dimanapun dan kapanpun. materialjabar linier diberikan dalam kelas dan sebagian diupload dalam e-learning yang disajikan dalam bentuk modul, lkm, latihan soal dan tugas. dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis e-learning dengan authentic assessment, terdapat 26% mahasiswa yang mendapat nilai mutu a dan sebanyak 48% mahasiswa yang mendapat nilai mutu b. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang diterapkan membawa dampak positif terhadap hasil akhir belajar mahasiswa. hanya terdapat 5% atau 2 mahasiswa saja yang mendapatkan nilai mutu d atau dinyatakan tidak lulus dalam mata kuliah aljabar linier ini. Abstract

Abstract. A G graph of order p and size q is called an (a,d)-edge antimagic total if there exist a bijection f:V(G)∪E(G)⟶{1,2,…,p+q} such that the edge-weights, w(uv)=f(u)+f(v)+f(uv), uv∈E(G), form an arithmetic sequence with first term a and common difference d. Such a graph G is called super if the smallest possible labels appear on the vertices. In this paper we study super (a, d)-edge-antimagic total properties of connected Tribun graph. The result shows that a connected Tribun graph admit a super(a,d)-edge antimagic total labeling ford=0,1,2 for n≥1. Abstract

Abstract. Abstract

Abstract. For a simple undirected connected graph G(V,E) with vertex set V and edge set E a labeling  : V  E → {1, 2, 3, ..., k} is called a total k-labeling. A total k-labeling is defined to be an edge irregular total k-labeling of the graph G if for every two different edges uv and xy of G there is t(uv) ≠ t(xy). The minimum k for which the graph G has an edge irregular total k-labeling is called the total edge irregularity strength of the graph G, denoted by tes(G). In this paper, we determine the total edge irregularity strength of volcano graph tes(Gbm,n) and the total edge irregularity strength of s copies volcano graph tes(sGbm,n). Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the difficulties experienced by the eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Bangil in solving algebra material problems based on the concept understanding ability and to describe the factors causing the students’ difficulties in learning algebra. The subject of this research is the students of VIIIC and VIIID of SMPN 2 Bangil in the 2013-2014 academic years. The data of the research are obtained from validation sheet, written test, and questionnaire and interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that the students still have difficulties in understanding the concept of algebra, in which the highest difficulty is on the indicator in restating a concept and applying the concept and algorithm into problem solving, while the factors causing the students’ difficulties in learning algebra based on the results of the questionnaire are the internal factor and the external factor. Key words: learning difficulties, the concept understanding ability, algebra.
