Abstract

In the modern era today, coffee consumption lifestyle started to develop and penetrated the community especially in urban areas. The rapid growth of coffee shops in Indonesia, could be seen as well in Bondowoso. The existence of city branding "Bondowoso Coffee Republic" has increasingly encouraged the emergence of modern coffee shops. This study aimed to determine: (1) the characteristics of modern coffee shop consumers in Bondowoso, (2) factors that influenced the preferences of modern coffee shop consumers. Research area was determined intentionally (purposive method), namely the urban area of Bondowoso Regency. The location of the study was conducted at modern coffee shops located in the City. The sampling method used was incidental sampling with a total of 120 respondents in 3 selected modern coffee shops. The results showed that: (1) there were several characteristics of modern coffee shop consumers in urban areas of Bondowoso consisting of male with a percentage of 77.5 percent and female of 22.5 percent, 66.67 percent of consumers had the intensity of drinking coffee as much as 3-4 cups per day, ( 2) formed 4 factors that influenced consumer preferences based on 15 variables, namely brand image, service, coffee and modernity.

Abstract

The implementation of intercropping systems is considered by farmers to be able to overcome the problem of low productivity and fluctuations in vegetable prices. The purpose of this study was to determine Combination of intercropping vegetable farming that provides maximum benefits. The determination of the study area was carried out using a purposive method. The sampling technique uses quota sampling. The method of analysis uses linear programming. The results showed that (1) the maximum benefit of the intercropping model 1 was obtained by planting green mustard and spinach, the intercropping model 2 planting green mustard, spinach and kale, the intercropping model 3 planting green mustard, spinach and basil, the intercropping model 4 planting spinach, green mustard, marigolds and basil. (2) Rare production factors are spinach land on intercropping models 1, 2, 3 and 4, basil land on intercropping model 4, ZA fertilizer on intercropping model 1, manure on intercropping models 2, 3 and 4, callicron pesticide on intercropping model 2 and 4 as well as the amnistar top pesticides in intercropping model 3. (3) The highest increase in maximum profit conditions is in the intercropping model 4 by 15.7% and the lowest in the intercropping model 1 by 13.6%.

Abstract

Batu City is an agricultural area that implements an organic farming system. the emergence of organic farming system as part of a sustainable agriculture system which is one of the answers to the degradation of the agricultural environment, the dependence of farmers on the components of the green revolution and the fading of local wisdom in farmers is very important to get serious attention. The purpose of this research is to describe the perceptions and analyze the factors of adoption of innovations in organic vegetable farming in Batu City. The method of taking the population and the sample of this study were determined by the census method. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of farmers, the nature of technology and the competency of instructors have a positive and significant effect on the adoption of innovations. The factor that has the most influence on the adoption of organic vegetable farming innovations in Batu City is the competency of extension workers. Recommendations that can be given are frequent counseling about organic agriculture and there must also be an understanding of the mindset of the extension participants so that counseling runs optimally.

Abstract

Public awareness of health is currently rising. Now consumers tends to consider the health benefits such as tempe hygiene. Tempe hygiene processed with hygienic using Varieties Grobogan non-GMO, therefore it has good quality and higher price. This study aims to describe the characterictics of consumers, analyze the average value of the maximum that consumers are willingness to pay and determine the factors that influence consumers’ willingness to pay. This study was conducted at 5 Tempe Hygiene market place in Grobogan with a hundred respondents selected using a quota sampling method. Data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis to describe consumer characteristics, CVM (contingent valuation methode) analysis to calculate the average value of maximum WTP and logistic regression analysis to analyze the factor that affects the value of WTP. The result showed that as many as 82% of respondents were willing to pay more for tempe hygiene. The value of WTP is Rp 6,432.00 per pack (350 gram). Factors that significantly affect consumers’ WTP values were age, income and product quality. Based on the analysis result, it can be concluded that the consumers were willing to pay more for tempe hygiene products with the difference between the average price and the real price of 7,19%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the description of performance of the supply chain and analyze the marketing channels for Polianthes tuberosa based on margin calculation and marketing efficiency. The research method used was a survey. Respondents consisted of farmers and actors at the flower marketing agency as well as night. Polianthes tuberosa farmers in Baran Village who were respondents as many as 26 and the number of samples of marketing institutions as many as 30 people consisting of market traders, florists and consumers. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative based on the supply chain development method in the Asian Productivity Organization (APO). The results of the study show that supply chain performance can be said to be quite good, marked by the fulfillment of demand for Polianthes tuberosa interest to consumers. Clear and directed supply chain goals, good supply chain structure, good supply chain management, sufficient and adequate resources and overall good supply chain performance. There are 3 marketing channels that are already efficient with the value of farmer share in marketing channel I that is 50.19%, marketing channel II which is 50.19% and marketing channel III which is 77.21%.

Abstract

Aplication is expected to be effort to improve coffee farming in Panti District, Jember Regency is by implementing the people's coffee farming according to Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) guidelines. This study aims to determine the level of application of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) of people's coffee farming, and determine the factors that influence. The analysis uses scoring analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed 1) the level of application of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) of coffee farming was 80.58 or suitable category 2) Adj R-Square value of 63.5%, variability in the level application of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) of people's coffee farming explain by age, education level, family dependent, land area, intensity of smallholder, access farm information, and price perception. F test results obtained that all independent variables simultan have a significant effect on the level of implementation of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) of people's coffee farming. T test results show that the dependents of the family, land area, access to farming information, and perception of coffee prices partially have a significant effect while the age, education level, and intensity of farmers' presence partially do not significantly influence the level of implementation of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) of coffee farming people.

Abstract

Compost fertilizer is fertilizer that comes from the remains of organic matter through a decomposition process with the aim of improving soil structure. This research aimed to determine farmers' perceptions of the use of compost on rice farming, the influence of internal factors and external factors on the perceptions of farmers in using compost on rice farming, and the design of extension and use of compost fertilizer on rice farming to determine the perceptions of farmers on the use of compost fertilizer on rice farming. The research method used is the survey method. The sampling method uses purposive sampling method. The results of this study showed that the highest perception received was 57,1% based on making compost, the age and experience of rice farming do not affect farmers' perceptions, and the design of counseling uses the material for making also using compost on rice farming; the methods used are visual, audio visual, lecture, and discussion; the media used is film.

Abstract

The increase in the number of smallholders (Independent farmers) in Bonti District faces challenges from limited knowledge about cultivation, optimizing the use of production factors, sustainability in production, and the absence of institutions (farmer groups, cooperatives, and farmer groups combined) so that it becomes a problem in the application of the 4 principles and 20 ISPO criteria. The purpose of this study is to analyze the formation of independent farmer groups within the ISPO certification framework. The research method uses the descriptive approach to analyze institutional conditions based on ISPO criteria also uses fishbone diagrams to find out the main problems and to create solutions. The results of this research show the farmers' institutional principles have not been implemented, while 65.96% of the ISPO criteria have not been implemented and only 34.04% of the ISPO criteria have been implemented by farmers. The absence of farmer groups, data collection, and counseling for independent farmer groups in Upe Village. However, farmers show a good response to the initiation of the farmer groups' formation because there is hope that it will facilitate production inputs and the sale of TBS.

Abstract

Nowdays, café business is rapidly growing in Indonesia. It has effect to competitiveness effect to the business. Supply chain agility is crucial to increase competitive advantage in the midst of increasingly complex business competition.The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of supply chain agility on the business performance of the coffee shop in Malang, East Java. Information on research data was obtained from 65 coffee shop managers or owners who were excavated using a questionnaire and analyzed using WrapPLS. The findings of this study are that supply chain agility has a positive and significant impact on the coffee shop business performance thus it plays a role in achieving a coffee shop competitive advantage. With supply chain agility, coffee shop businesses can maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

The development of the coffeeshop grew rapidly in the last 10 years, with the change of adolescent lifestyle patterns in consuming coffee in the coffeeshop. Coffee Latte is one of the usual menu served by the coffeeshop at varying prices. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of consumers, analyzing the value of Willingness to Pay and analyzing the influence of consumer characteristics against the value of consumer Willingness to Pay on coffee latte products. The study was conducted on 15 January to 15 February 2020 located in the coffeeshop around the campus Undip Tembalang with the determination of the location purposive. The research method used is the survey method. Respondents were taken as much as 99 people using accidental sampling. Data collection using primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used are descriptive analysis, quantitative analysis and the analysis of logistic regression. The results of the study gained that most consumers of coffee latte were men with a percentage of 58.6% and women with a percentage of 41.4%. Consumers who are willing to pay more than the current price are 94.9% of respondents and amounting to 5.05% of the respondents are not willing to increase by 5% to 25%. A significant factor affecting the willingness of pay is quality. Keywords: Coffee Latte, Willingness to Pay, Consumers
