Self-isolation is one of the efforts of the Indonesian Ministry of Health in handling the spread of Covid-19. This study aims to describe the behaviour of the community on compliance with the implementation of health protocols, especially related to self-isolation and to design a strategy for strengthening community compliance in self-isolation based on community empowerment and participation. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research was conducted at Bumi Mulia Housing Estate, Semarangan, Sidokarto, Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The participants involved in this study were all residents of the Bumi Mulia housing estate. Problems are identified through the measurement of community knowledge and behaviour, then followed up by making a conceptual framework and program of activities so that the community can jointly participate in participatory efforts to overcome the problems that have been identified in the previous stage. There are still problems related to community knowledge and behaviour in terms of self-isolation. Knowledge and attitudes that are not yet good in this case will affect the behaviour of the community regarding compliance with health protocols, especially related to self-isolation. Empowerment and community participation can be used as a strategy model in strengthening community groups to face health problems through community participation. With community empowerment and participation, people will be able to solve problems more effectively, independently, and organized to create conditions for people who are more prepared to face disasters. Keywords: Self-isolation, covid-19, community empowerment

Coronavirus Disease 2019 or Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by a new virus, namely the Coronavirus, which spreads easily and causes a high mortality rate. Knowledge is everything that is known based on human experience itself and knowledge will increase according to the process of experience experienced by individuals. Knowledge is very important for all people to avoid risks such as anxiety, panic and stress during the Covid-19 pandemic. Anxiety is an emotional state that arises when individuals are experiencing stress which is characterized by a feeling of tension in the mind that makes individuals feel worried and accompanied by physical responses such as a racing heart, rising blood pressure and others. Coastal communities are people who are left behind economically, socially, especially in terms of education and health services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge level and anxiety about the Covid-19 pandemic in coastal communities in Ai-Bari Hamlet, Kukin Village, North Moyo District. This study uses a descriptive correlative study design with a quantitative approach and uses Jaspen's M Correlation Test. The results show that most respondents have a good level of knowledge, 50 respondents (41.7%), while the anxiety level of the majority of respondents is at the level of not anxious 58 people ( 48.3%). The results of the jaspen's M test obtained the value of M = -0.1. The conclusion in this study shows a significant relationship between knowledge and anxiety levels with the result value using the Jaspens's M correlation test where r count > r table (0.38 > 0.21) then the hypothesis H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted.

The limited availability of water causes problems in agricultural activities in urban areas. This setting has forced farmers to use polluted river water for crop irrigation. This study aimed to measure the effect of water quality on the growth of red spinach plants. The method employed an experimental with Randomized Block Design (RAK) with three replications, consist of a watering treatment group used river water, filtration water, and well-water. The dependent variables were plant height, number of leaves, dry weight of leaves, and dry weight of roots. The quality of river water and filtered water based on BOD5 and COD parameters has exceeded the class II quality standard as plant irrigation water according to PP No 82 of 2001. However, the well-water was polluted based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 32 of 2017. The plants watered by the river water had the highest number of leaves and tallest plants. In contrast, the dry weight of leaves and roots was highest in plants watered with filtered water. Differences in the source and quality of watering water affect plant height and root dry weight. Applying appropriate water treatment and irrigation technology can obtain significant benefits and minimize risks in river water use.

Collecting data using in-depth interviews and analyzed using the Van Manen method. This study resulted in two themes, namely 1) At first it was normal, 2) Realizing dangerous diseases. The final statement that connects the two themes is “There is a change in perception of Covid-19.” Subsequent research can explore the role of parents in controlling Covid-19 prevention behavior in adolescents and design a web-based Covid-19 application for adolescents.
