Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap tentang implementasi Kawasan Tanpa Rokok di Universitas Dian Nuswantoro. Survei awal berdasarkan pengamatan penelitimenunjukkan partisipasi siswa yang rendah dalam implementasi Kawasan Tanpa Rokok. Daerah yang seharusnya bebas asap rokok, tetapi masih ditemukan perokok. Penelitian ini merupakan survei cross sectional . Responden adalah 96 mahasiswa aktif . Data primer meliputi karakteristik responden , pengetahuan, sikap dan partisipasi yang diukur denganwawancara. Data sekunder diperoleh dari profil UDINUS. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan dengan uji chi square. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 83,3% responden memilikipengetahuan yang baik, sebesar 93,8% responden memiliki sikap yang baik, sebesar 83,3% responden memiliki partisipasi kurang pada implementasi Kawasan Tanpa Rokok. Analisisbivariat menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok dengan tingkat partisipasi dalam implementasi Kawasan Tanpa Rokok ( p value = 0,065 ), tidak ada hubungan antara sikap tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok dengan tingkatpartisipasi dalam implementasi Kawasan Tanpa Rokok ( p value = 0,585 ). Berdasarkanpenelitian, perlu penelitian kualitatif tentang pendapat perokok untuk bersama-sama mewujudkan Kawasan Tanpa Rokok di kampus, karena sebagian besar perokok tergolong berusia muda, sosialisasi tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok di UDINUS kepada dosen dan mahasiswa dan dibutuhkan penegakan Kawasan Tanpa Rokok pada kampus dalam bentuk pengawasan di area kampus dan meningkatkan peran mahasiswa melalui kelompok sebaya.Kata kunci: partisipasi, mahasiswa, implementasi, Kawasan Tanpa Rokok

Abstract

Background. Place of registration of outpatients is often regarded as a place of registration, even though this is the place of first contact occurs between patients with officers as thebeginning of a ministry. TPPRJ need to be placed on the officer who has a good competency, security services, as well as providing comfort and enjoyment. therefore, researchers wanted to find out patient satisfaction for the quality of service at the TPPRJ about competence officers, security services, as well as the comfort and enjoyment in the hospital.Method. Type of research used is descriptive, with a survey method and study population were patients who enroll in TPPRJ in 2011 with a sample of 98 patients. This research instrumentusing quisioner with interviews, primary data obtained from quisioner, processed and analyzed descriptively.Result. Results obtained from the research results on aspects of staff competence highest patient satisfaction in terms of officer performance is 92.85%, on the security aspects of patient care the highest satisfaction in terms of security of injury does not occur at the registration counter is equal to 97.95%,on the aspect of comfort and enjoyment of the highest patient satisfaction of service in terms of state of the waiting room in the registration that is equal to 89.79%Conclusion. Of patient opinion about what caused the dissatisfaction of patients in the tpprj then the suggestion that the authors give is more nimble workers in providing care for patients, the TPPRJ more concerned about the ease and speed of service procedures, as well as on the tpprj attention to patient safety while queuing at the counter registrationKey words: patient satisfaction, quality of service, TPPRJ.

Abstract

Background. To attract the attention of consumers, the food and beverage manufacturers to add a few additional ingredients such as dyes. But not all the additional materials used aresafe for health, such as yellow and rodhamin methanil-B where the two materials containing hazardous substances that are carcinogenic heavy metal that can cause liver dysfunction,skin allergies, cancer, respiratory tract irritation, seizures the throat, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, kidney damage can even result in coma. Habits of primary school age children andconsumerism tend are not careful when spending money given by the parents. It is therefore necessary to study the behavior of students around the school snack habits.Method. This type of research is eksplanatory research and methods used are interviews with a sample approach to cross as many as 67 students sectional.dengan Miftahul AkhlaqiahMI district. Ngaliyan Semarang.Result.The results showed no relationship between students knowledge in the habit of eating snacks with a p value 0.033. And there is no relationship between the attitudes of students inthe habit of eating snacks with a p value 0.150Conclusion. Abstract

Background Lifting technique is a way to lift the loads with a shoulder and the loads are in appropriate capacity. Haul labors in 2nd floor of Yaik Permai in Johar fruits market in Semarangare informal workers who work manually in lifting goods using shawl and did not use other equipments so there would be risks of accident on workers such as aches or injuries to the lower back. The purpose of this research is to figuring out correlation between lifting technique and complaints of lower back pain on haul labor in Yaik Permai in Johar fruits market in Semarang 2012.Method: This research is an Explanatory Research with survey method and Cross Sectional study design. The populations of this research are 62 haul labors 2nd floor of Yaik Permai in Johar fruits market in Semarang. The samples are 27 haul labors that taken by using Purposive Sampling, with inclusion criteria aged 27-40 years old, 1-year service, female, and exclusion criteria did not have lower back pain record before, in a healthy condition during the data collection, and there is a history of sprains prior to working.Result: The study showed that 88,9% haul labors had complaints of lower back pain while working, 77,8% experiencing lower back pain due to lifting jobs, 70,4% experiencing pain when returning home, 59,1% sprained on hip area while working, 70,4% transporting on over the knees bellow the shoulders and close to the body, 88,9% who put their body closer between two legs if the loads are on the floor. There is correlation between lifting technique and complaints of lower back pain with p value 0,012 and correlation coeficiency (r) 0,479 which indicates that there is a significant correlation.Conclusion:Therefore, it is suggested to haul labors to do the lifting jobs correctly, in accordance with lifting techniques and using tools to reduce the heavy burden such as cart orstroller.Keywords : Lifting Technique, Complaints of Lower Back Pain, Haul Labors

Abstract

Background: The rise of food stalls on campus culminated in the emergence of a variety of issues, among other health problems. In Central Java has started 21 events poisoning (2006), with the number of 1269 people, and 3 patients died. Based on data from DKK Semarang mentioned that the number of patients because of food poisoning in the city of Semarang in2006 reached an average of 21.95%. The results of the initial survey of 14 food vendors on campus UDINUS in the last 3 years (2008, 2009, 2010) showed about 45% have the knowledge, practices and the availability of sanitary hygiene compliance has not been good.Method: This is a “quasi experimental research” with “one group pre-post test design”. Using the observation method of data collection / survey with questionnaires. Purposive sample isdetermined, as many as 25 food stalls crowded. Processing and data analysis performed with SPSS for windows. Data were analized with “ Wilcoxon test “ to know about counseling effectiveness of food stall sanitation.Result: Based on the result of this research was known that there has been improvement of motivation, knowledge, awareness of hygiene and sanitation practices of food stalls target. Based on the results of data processing and analysis can be seen that the general sanitary conditions of hygiene that still needs to be fixed to respondents to the ideal standard sanitaryaspects of the washing, sanitizing processing and sanitary serving / food packaging.Conclusion: To optimize achieving certification stalls it is advisable need assessment for immediate assistance and facilitation to improved hygiene practices and improved sanitation facilities as a series of subsequent certification process that is well worthy of certification for food service businesses. Abstract

Background: Women have a susceptibility to transmission of sexually transmitted infections because of anatomical-biological condition of the female reproductive organs causing pelvic structure of women in a position to “hold” and the female reproductive organs are “entered into”. Cleanliness of the reproductive organs become of vital importance to women in order to avoid reproductive tract infections and cervical cancer. In fact women always put their interests on the final sequence, in which increasingly scarce family resources led to a woman sacrifice their health at the expense of sacrificing time, energy, physical and material to support his family. This is particularly noticeable in rural women are always identified with low education, knowledge and skills. This study aims to describe the behavior of the female reproductive organ hygiene in the rural village of Polaman-Mijen Semarang city.Method: This research is qualitative exploration of research using a case study approach, where data collection is done through in-depth interviews to 10 women in the village. Triangulation of sources used for data validity: peers, parents and health cadres. Furthermore, the data analyzed by thematicResult: Most village women use betel soap to clean their reproductive organs, by the way from back to front, use sanitary napkins during menstruation production from the factory withan average frequency of replacement 2-3 times a day. In the selection of underwear, they have considered the comfortable and absorb perspiration. However, it turns out there are stillcomplaints of vaginal discharge, from which does not disturb until the disturbing comfort. In fact there are some village women who frequently experience vaginal discharge that causediscomfort (itching).Conclusion: The need for increased knowledge about reproductive health for rural women and their mothers, as the people closest to young people through the use of media that is often used by those.Keywords: hygiene, reproductive organ, Woman

Abstract

Background : Severe malnutrition was threatening children under five years growth. Protein deficiency in long time caused severe malnutrition. Children with severe malnutrition hadmicronutrients deficiency, like iron and zinc. Iron and zinc deficiency caused nutritional status decreasing.Objective : This research conduct to analyze the association dietary protein, iron, and zinc intake with nutritional status in severe malnutrition children under five years of age.Method : Study cross sectional in 21 severe malnutrition children under five years of age at work region Semarang City Health Department.The data nutritional status were searchedusing indicator of weight by height (W/H). The data dietary protein, iron, zinc, and fiber intake were searched by semi quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQFFQ). The data analyzed by SPSS 12.0 for windows. Bivariate analysis used pearson product moment and multivariate analysis used multiple regression linier.Result : Nutritional status subjects which using W/H indicator were -5.72 until -3.02. At 13 until 36 month of age, subjects had 6.8 gr/d until 31.5 gr/d dietary protein intake, 1.3 mg/duntil 6 mg/d dietary iron intake, and 1 mg/d until 3.3 mg/d dietary zinc intake. At 37 until 59 month of age, subjects had 11.3 gr/d until 48.5 gr/d dietary protein intake, 2.6 mg/d until 10.2 mg/d dietary iron intake, and 1.5 mg/d until 5.6 mg/d dietary zinc intake. Most of dietary protein (61.9%), iron (90.5%), and zinc (100%) intake were deficit category according to Recommended Dietary Allowances. But, most of dietary protein (61.9%) and zinc (57.1%) were good category, and all of dietary iron was deficit category according to each dietaryrequirements. There were no association between dietary protein (r=0.143;p=0.27), iron (r=0.089;p=0.35), and zinc intake (r=0.122;p=0.3) with nutritional status in severe malnutrition children under five years of age.Conclusion : There were not evidenced of association between dietary protein, iron, and zinc intake with nutritional status in severe malnutrition children under five years of age.Keywords : Nutritional status, severe malnutrition children under five years of age, protein intake, iron intake, and zinc intake

Abstract

Background. Report Information System of In-Patient Non Transmitted Diseases in Semarang Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital that was computer base, it couldn’t makes informationwhich user want. This is because of the should report form is not same with now report form. So, this matter cause officer has to work twice activity for makes the right report form. The aim of this research is make the suggest design of Report Information System of In-Patient Non Transmitted Diseases in Semarang Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital.Method. The type of the research is descriptive with approach of cross sectional to obtained data at the time of the research is done. The research instrument are observation and interviewwith sistem user. The research instrument consist of patient identity data, in-patient registrasion data, in-patient diagnose data, and exit patient data. Processing data are collecting,classification, tabulation, and report, it is also analising to compare between old system with new system.Result. From the result of the research, the process of Report of In-Patient Non Transmitted Diseases are input patient identity data by officer of TPPRJ, input in-patient registrasion databy officer of TPPRI, input in-patient diagnose data and exit patient data from in-patient medical record document by officer of input data of medical record. From this, officer of report toprint the Report of In-Patient Non Transmitted Diseases, Report of In-Patient Non Tranmitted Diseases per Disease, Report of In-Patient Non Transmitted Diseases per Age, Report ofIn-Patient Non Tranmitted Diseases per Sex, and Report of In-Patient Non Transmitted Diseases per Exit.Conclusion.There are not found the Right Policy and Procedure which specific about manual or system of Report of In-Patient Non Transmitted Diseases. The fault of the now systemcan be repaired with the new system that suggest of researcher. Abstract

Background. Hospitals not only produces organic and inorganic waste, but also infectious waste containing hazardous toxic materials (B3). Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)Hospital Kelet Jepara implement wastewater management Bio Natural system. After operating for more than a year has not been done evaluating whether hospitals Kelet WWTP withBio Natural system capable of treating wastewater to meet established quality standards. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the WWTP with Bio Natural systems inreducing the chemical parameters in the wastewater by effluent quality standards according to the Central Java Provincial Regulation No.10 of 2004.Method. The type and design of the study was a descriptive cross sectional approach. In this case the only researchers to make observations and measurements of the levels ofBOD, COD, ammonia, phosphat parameters, without any intervention or treatment of liquid waste water treatment plant there. Where samples in this study were drawn at the WWTPinlet, after a septic tank, baffled reactors, anaerobic filters, and the pool of indicators.Result. Jepara Kelet Hospital WWTP Bio Natural systems are effective in lowering levels of 84.82% BOD, COD content of 93.04%, 94.75% Ammonia levels. Phosphate levels do notmeet quality standards, the effectiveness of only 39.21%. Efforts is to increase the flowering plant that has flowers such as the ability to absorb phosphate kana, Phragmites sp, Cyperussp, sp typa.Key Words: Bio Natural, BOD, COD, Amoniak, Phospat.

Abstract

Helminthiasis adalah infeksi cacing pada usus manusia yang disebabkan oleh Enterobius vermicularis, Ascaris Lumbricoides dan Tricuris Trichuria. Helminthiasis adalah cacing yang sangat mudah menular. Ini tergantung keseimbangan antara parasit, manusia dan lingkungan. Sanitasi yang jelek dan kebersihan pribadi contohnya kebersihan dan memotong kuku, tidak mencuci tangan setelah defekasi, makanan yang terbuka, memudahkan penularan penyakit, terutama anak-anak. Pada survei awal di SD gedang Bina Remaja ditemukan 46,9% pelajar terinfeksi cacing ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mencari hubungan antara helminthiasis dengan kadar Hb pelajar SD Gedong Bina Remaja tahun 2011.Metode penelitian ini observasional dan analisis laboratorium menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 32 pelajar dari SD Gedong Bina Remaja semarangyang memenuhi syarat. Uji statistik untuk menguji hipotesis antara variabel bebas dan terikat menggunakan uji Chi Square test.Hasil uji statistik didapatkan ada hubungan antara infeksi Helminthiasis dengan kadar hemoglobin dengan p value 0,001 , ditemukan 46,9 % positif infeksi cacing dan 53,1% negatifcacing, dengan minimal kadar Hb 8,1g/dl dan maksimal 13,1g/dl dengan kadar Hb normal 18,8%, 53,3% rendah dan 18,1% sangat rendah.Untuk pelajar SD Gedong Bina Remaja untuk meningkatkan sanitasi dan kebersihan pribadi dengan secara teratur memotong kuku, membersihkan tangan sebelum makan dan setelah defekasi, dan tidak membeli makanan sembarang tempat dan meminum obat anti cacing membendazol sesuai dosis. Untuk peneliti lain melakukan penelitian infeksi helminthiasis pada anak.Kata Kunci: Enterobius vermicularis, kadar hemoglobin, Siswa SD
