Abstract

Community is a group of people who share and support to each other and Collegiate is a person who has been followed of graduated from a school or university.The technological growth, development a collegiate community website can be a communication media and brotherhood between the graduated. With that technology, soit made Collegiate Relation Community Website, Sahid University of Surakarta. Collegiate Relation Community Website, Sahid University of Surakarta build uses a PHP program language and MySQL database, it is developed using data modelwith DFD, ERD, and Data Dictionary, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 as an easier way to use the website. By website Collegiate Relation Community Website, Sahid Universityof Surakarta, graduated can interact and change information like sharing the story, vacancy, etc. Collegiate Relation Community Website is having the character ofdynamic, so the information can be served in this website always up to date. This research yield a Collegiate Relation Community Website, Sahid University of Surakarta. Assessment Quality of Collegiate Relation Community Website, SahidUniversity of Surakarta pursuant to important aspect of method McCall by random sampling using some factors which related to software operational character there arecorrectness, reliability, efficiency, integrity, portability, flexibility, usability and maintainability. Result conclusion of Collegiate Relation Community Website, SahidUniversity of Surakarta is 75,5 %, it is Good.

Abstract

Technology in the business world increasingly plays an important role. One of them is the application of a computerized of sales information system on the companyfor the work efficiency. This ways is more and more often used because it useful for storage of data and make the search for data or information easier, in order avoid theusual dereliction that usually find in the manual storage systems. Various problems that often arise as a result of manually managing on Semesta Art Galery are: (a) the stock of goods in warehouse is difficult to be controlled, (b) high risk loss data of purchase and sales transaction, and (c) recording system of non-cash sales / credit is not optimal. The objectivity of the research is to build sales information system on Semesta Art Galery in case for: 1) change the manual sales system into computerized systems. 2)Increasing sales by adding non-cash sales menu / credits on software that is built so hoped non-cash sales system can increase the number of costumers, and 3)helps thestaff in processing of goods sale data, supplier data reports, reports sales, and bill of sales transaction. This system is build using the waterfall method (the life cycle ofsoftware) and uses the programming language Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server 7. based on results of testing system using Mc Call method, show a total value of the quality is 75.4% with the conclusion that: 1) the sales information system is easy tolearn and operate by the user, 2) can run on hardware and operating systems that exist in the Semesta Art Gallery, 3) has good level in efficiency, very effective to minimize the errors that occur, and is hoped can be used as a tool to optimize sales system in the Semesta Art Gallery.

Abstract

Websites of Sahid university Surakarta is still difficulty in renewing the availability of information because only one admin who manages the website, so thatmuch of the information or announcements that are not updates. This study aims to develop the website of university Sahid Surakarta. This website is an extension of theprevious website management website admin only done one course, turned into a website that has a lot of admin for ease in its management and presentation ofinformation and menus are easily understood by the user. System development using object-based method, the website was built with the needs of the university, both visitors and admin managers. A website called qualified ifit meets several criteria of quality. Software quality measurement in this study using methods McCall, with the five factors used for assessing the efficiency, reliability,maintainability, usability, and compability. McCall method was chosen because it has been widely used and are good enough to measure the quality of a software Products derived from this study is a university Sahid Surakarta website elearning integration, where websites are built with the needs of the university. Features presented in this website include the ease of managing the news and information, registration of students online and print out the registration form. After testing the method of McCall, the system is a total value of quality (71,75 %). Thus the results of such testing, the website is expected to facilitate the management of the website and the presentation of information so it can be applied to the Sahid university of Surakarta.

Abstract

Learning media can help teacher to convey the intent of teaching learning materials. Development of instructional media should take attention to several aspects: usercharacteristics, aspects of software quality, design aspects that include linkages to the curriculum, and the aspect of visual communication. As part of visual communication,the aesthetic aspects should also be considered. Aesthetics is related to the harmonization of all the elements of art affect the feelings or emotions that learningmedia users. This paper reviewed the elements of aesthetic aspect which must be considered ini design of learning media.

Abstract

VoIP is a technology that utilizes the Internet Protocol to provide voice communications electronically and in real-time. How it works to change the voice intodigital data format that can be transmitted through a specific IP network. Conducted research methodology, consisting of six strands include observationalstudies and interviews, literature study, analysis and system design, experiment, test the quality of the system, and conclusions.VoIP works on a computer network installed VoIP server. The server acts as a proxy that has the benefits of inter-user communication. VoIP communications can becarried out within the scope of the campus and outside the campus with an internet connection.The test results with the method of random sampling McCall using several factors related to the operational properties of software, it can be concluded that thequality of VoIP in Sahid University of Surakarta was 76.5% with good results.

Abstract

ugar factory waste is pretty exciting stuff for in the analysis. Waste generated solid, gas, liquid still need to utilize the waste handling. On this occasion, the researcher triedto analyze molasses added to concrete materials. In this study, we created two groups of specimens will be compared to the results which one is better. Then the object testedsectioned with a compression test machine. After investigation it turned out the result showed the difference between concrete with molasses added material would be betterthan ordinary concrete. Top Calculation results divisive 15.63 Kg/cm2 test without added ingredients and 33.71 Kg/cm2 concrete with molasses added ingredients.

Abstract

Pada era teknologi informasi seperti sekarang ini, sangatlah dibutuhkan informasi yang dapat menunjang dalam pengambilan keputusan secara cepat, tepat dan akurat. Sistem informasi inventory yang ada pada CV. Haruming Estu ini belum optimal, karena masih menggunakan cara manual. Walaupun sudah menggunakankomputer akan tetapi komputer yang digunakan selama ini hanya digunakan untuk membantu pengetikan biasa dan belum digunakan seoptimal mungkin untuk mengolahdata menjadi informasi-informasi. Oleh karena itu perlu dibuat sistem informasi inventory berbasis komputer sebagai alternatif untuk menghindari kesalahan dalam pengolahan data inventory pada sistem yang lama. Sistem informasi inventory yang akan dibuat ini dibangun dan dikembangkan menggunakan pemodelan data dengan DFD, ERD dan Kamus Data, diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Delphi serta pemanfaatan database Paradox dalam pengelolaan dan penyimpanan datanya. Dengan menggunakan sistem informasi inventory yang memanfaatkan teknologi komputer sebagai alat bantunya, maka informasi secara cepat, tepat, dan akurat akan dapat dipenuhi. Informasi yang diperoleh dari pemrosesan data yang diterima pemakai dapat digunakan untuk mengambil keputusan serta dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kinerja perusahaan. Informasi yang dihasilkan dari sistem informasi inventory ini yaitu laporan data barang, laporan data pemasok, laporan data pemborong, laporan data transaksipembelian, laporan data transaksi penjualan, laporan data retur pembelian, dan laporan data retur penjualan.

Abstract

Making a decision becomes a complicated process if it does not go through the correct steps and is not supported by concrete data. Moreover, it also occurs for the type of unstructured decision making. Because of this type of decision is rare and not easy to be programmed so that the decision-making process should use the fact that is supported by the valid data. One of the example in this case is the choosing of department in a university for new students. It is a complicated process and can allow them to make a mistake. Therefore, to minimize errors in choosing of department in accordance with the ability of students, it needs technology as a tool. This study takes a case study to guide new students in choosing of department at Sahid University of Surakarta. The criteria used in making of this model is based on the assumption of the author trough considering some assessment. The aim of this study is to develop a process decision-making model by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Expert Choice tool (EC) Professional 9.0

Abstract

Internet technology is significant growth in the software industry. The existence of millions of web address as one sign of the development of internet technology. Until now, the Internet is still believed to be one of the media to disseminate information. Internet more trusted by developers and users to obtain the desired information without looking at the resources. Most of the web developers pay less attention to the quality of the web. There are some developers who tend to take attention to the look and less concerned with the content and vice versa. In fact a lot of factors that must be considered when a developer will design and develop the web. A website should be consider software quality and also meet the quality factors of the design and the content. There are several methods used in assessing software quality factors, among which are Mc Call and ISO 9126. While the methods used to measure the quality of the website and the WebQual include methods Waller.This paper aims to review what are the quality factors that must be considered by a website designer to design a good website based on software quality and website quality.

Abstract

E-mail is a service have the shape of electronic mail message with fixed format that accepted and sent over the internet network with certain rule. E-mail Server, or Mail Server is application that handle delivery process and acceptance of e-mail message. At this research built E-mail Server with web base client e-mail and E-mailServer system uses Linux Fedora 7 as the server operating system, with MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) qmail that recognized rely on have speed and high security level as the E-mail Server application and MUA (Mail User Agent) Squirrelmail as the web based client e-mail. MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) is E-mail Server application that used to handle delivery process and e-mail acceptance. Web base mail is web base client e-mail functioned as the link bridge between user and E-mail Server machine pass by web browser. In this research conducted assessment and data arrest with method of literature study at various of sources either from book or browsing in internet hits MTA qmail, MUA Squirrelmail, IMAP, WebServer Apache, and DNS Server BIND. In other hand also conducted observation method to E-mail Server system, and use experiment method till got result the most maximal. Intention of research this is the creation of a reliable E-mail Server system that can provide e-mail service for academic person at Sahid University of Surakarta with address http://mail.usahidsolo.ac.id, to support academic activity in Sahid University of Surakarta. Final conclusion from this research based on study analysis elegibility subyektif user in random sampling by using four assessment aspects, that is e-mail service helps study, easy e-mail service is understood, easy to operate e-mail service, and display aspect webmail. Can be concluded that the usage of E-mail Server for e-mail service in Sahid University of Surakarta is good.
