Abstract

ABSTRACT This article review some of the research on organizational effectiveness has been done by several researchers theory of organization. The discussion starts from the view of traditional theory in the 1950 – 1960 to the modern view that has undergone improvements in the year 1970 – 1980. Several approaches have problems and weaknesses of each, so some of the models proposed can be utilized, although significantly, but very difficult to find the best due to the complexity of organizational effectiveness and each organization has different criteria. It is very difficult to produce a model that has the capability of high validity and generalizability. A model may be suitable for use in an organization but not necessarily suitable for use in other organizations. Keywords: organizational effectiveness, goal approach, functional approach

Abstract

ABSTRACT Marketing strategy is very important for a company where marketing strategy is a way of achieving the goal of a company. So also in small and medium enterprises need to implement a marketing strategy. Problems faced by small and medium enterprises for this are: 1) lack of capital to develop the business, 2) marketing strategy, and 3) the dependence of micro high enough to season and market demand, causing the business to be volatile and difficult to develop. To overcome the above problems, particularly in the implementation of small to medium enterprise marketing strategy, then things can be done is to do: 1) market segmentation, in designing a product, small and medium businesses have to run the market segmentation. By segmenting the market, small and medium businesses can better optimize each product release. 2) Cooperation among small and medium businesses. Cooperating with other small and medium businesses as well needs to be done in order to strengthen mutual efforts. Keywords: Marketing strategies,  small and medium enterprises

Abstract

Abstract Preparation of business plans to be an important communica-tion medium for the entrepreneur to explain the business profile to be developed. An increasingly competitive business conditions will require a leader figure who is able to face competition, so we can make preparations to solve these problems and we can indirectly determine the level of risk to be faced. Without planning, a com-pany will lose focus in achieving a goal. Planning helps managers answer some question as to what the a company target growth rate of corporate profits, whether the position of competitors and how the opportunities for profit. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examined the effect of quality, features and Sony Ericsson mobile phone models of consumer satisfaction survey on the economics faculty student UniversitasSlamet Riyadi Surakarta. Mobile (cellular telephone) is a communication tool that can connect among fellow men. The presence of mobile phones is a huge leap forward in human history. Cellular technology is the most modern communication technology and the most promising in terms of quality, efficiency and economy. Features found on Sony Ericsson mobile phones include a camera, a browser, wifi, bluetooth, infrared, music player, video player, email, radio, video recording, external memory, Short Message Service, Multi Media Service, and so forth. This study was a survey conducted at the Faculty of Economics, University of Slamet Riyadi are addressed to students regular classroom in Accounting and Management. Samples were performed in non-random sampling is a sampling technique using purposive Accidental Sampling. From the results of the regression model F test used to predict the effect of quality, features, and models of consumer satisfaction is significant. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the significance of the effect of pricing, promotion, and quality products to the general ledger product purchasing decisions on PT Tiga Serangkai International General Book Division. The population in this study is that consumers generally buy books published by PT. Tiga Serangkai in  bookstore Gramedia and Togamas in the city of Yogyakarta, Solo and Semarang. Samples were taken by 100 respondents. The results showed that prices and promotions significantly influence the decision of the general purchase of books, is the quality of the products had no significant effect. Abstract

ABSTRACT In investment decisions, management must deal with uncertainty in the future. The uncertainty of a number of possible events can occur. Risk management is what needs to be considered in investment decisions. Management needs to incorporate an element of risk in the investment proposals of thinking, so that each investment project has a different risk levels. This will affect the required rate of return (Required Rate of Return), which determines whether a feasible investment project is accepted or rejected. Approach to the measurement of risk in investment decisions, among others: the mean standard deviation approach, certainty equivalent approach, risk adjusted discount rate approach, sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, break even analysis. Abstract

ABSTRACT Environmental, organizational and technological factors create a high competitive business environment, where these factors are rapidly changing, which is sometimes unpredictable way. Due to this rapid change, the company (in this case SMEs) need to react quickly in the face of problems and opportunities resulting from the new business environment (which focuses on the consumer). So in order to succeed (survive) in this dynamic world, companies should not only perform traditional measures such as lowering costs, but also perform activities such as changing the structure of innovation or process as a critical responses activities. Abstract

ABSTRACT One of main causes for multicrisis in Indonesia are mismanagement and moral hazard problem in every sektors. Political situation and economy is a two sides which linked each other. So far, executives in government mostly see politics and economy as the effort to gain power for individuals or groups, fully ignoring the essential task for manager to maintain the country using good management principles which will enable to rise sustainable value of creation.
