Abstract

This research aims at identifying how three linguistic unit; word, phrase, and clause is translatedby students and how is the translation quality of the students.The data were gained from three different text. They are then classified based on words, phrasesand clauses. In the analysis, the data which is in the form of words, phrases and clauses weredescribed how it was translated; what technique were applied and whether there was a shift ornot.There are some conclussion derived: at the level of words, established equivalent is the mosttechnique applied in oredinary words, while borrowing is applied in technical terms: at wordsand clauses there are no shift occured while in phrase level there are some shipt occured. Ingeneral translation are accurate at word and clause level while at phrases level translation areless accurate.

Abstract

Ability to say children is the ability of children to count by calling one by one to determine the number or number of objects. Lotto is an educational game used in learning activities in children. The use of lottery media numbers is a form of recognizing numbers in early childhood. The rationale for the emergence of this problem is still the low ability to say children of the Rowo B TK Dharma Wanita Group. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out how to play lotto numbers that can improve the ability to say, children, 2) to understand the ability to remember the ability to count children through playing lotto numbers in children B TK Dharma Wanita Rowo Kandangan Group Semester II 2017/2018 Academic Year. The subjects of this study were students of the Group B TK Dharma Wanita Rowo donated by 25 children. The research was conducted in February 2018. Data collection methods used were observation, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that through the lotto numbers game can improve the ability to count children in the TK B Group of Dharma Wanita Rowo Kandangan Temanggung Semester II 2017/2018 Academic Year. This is evidenced by the increase. The increase only reached 20%, then after the increase in Cycle I it increased to 52%, and Cycle II to 84%, has reached 80%. This success is marked by the child being able to lift by pointing objects, connecting / pairing symbols with objects and writing numbers.. Key words: Ability To Say, Lotto Numbers

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is to analyze and describe the improvement of the ability of teachers in positive learning for teachers at SMPN 2 Ampel Semester II TP 2018/2019 through clinical supervision of Classroom Visitation techniques. The subjects of this study were 6 (six) teachers from SMP Negeri 2 Ampel in Boyolali Regency. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Ampel Boyolali Regency in the second semester. The study was conducted in 2 (two) cycles. Performance indicators are established: if all teachers have achieved a minimum grade point average of more than 21.5 (≥ 21.5). The results show that through classroom visitation techniques, the ability of teachers at SMPN 2 Ampel Boyolali Regency in scientific learning increases to the maximum. The increase can be seen from the average value from pre-cycle to cycle II from 13.17 to 29.17 (an increase of 16). The increase in the percentage of achievement indicators from pre-cycle activities amounted to cycle II from 41.15% to 91.15% (an increase of 50.00%).Keywords: scientific learning, classroom visitation ABSTRAKPenelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan  guru dalam pembelajaran saitifik bagi guru di SMPN 2 Ampel Semester II TP 2018/2019 melalui supervisi klinis teknik Classroom Visitation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sebagian guru SMP Negeri 2 Ampel Kabupaten Boyolali sebanyak 6 (enam) guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Ampel Kabupaten Boyolali dapa semester II. Penelitian dilaksanakan 2 (dua) siklus.  Indikator kinerja ditetapkan: apabila semua guru telah mencapai nilai rata-rata minimal lebih dari 21,5 (≥ 21,5). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui tindakan pembinaan teknik classroom visitation, kemampuan guru di SMPN 2 Ampel Kabupaten Boyolali dalam pembelajaran saintifik meningkat dengan maksimal. Peningkatan dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata dari prasiklus ke ke siklus II dari 13,17 menjadi 29,17 (meningkat sebesar 16). Peningkatan prosentase ketercapaian indikator dari kegiatan prasiklus sebesar ke siklus II dari 41,15% menjadi 91,15% (meningkat sebesar 50,00%).Kata Kunci: pembelajaran saintifik, classroom visitation

Abstract

This research aims at describing (1) the reasons why the teachers of elementary school atpublic schools do not use the heritage of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta as a learning media incharacter building; (2) the learning media in character building used by the teachers ofelementary school at public schools in Surakarta in achieveing the given competence and thelearning goal; (3) the heritage of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta which may be used as as alearning media in character building in public elementari schools in Surakarta; (4) the ways howthe heritage of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta used as a learning media in character buildingeffectively.The result of the research conclude that (1) the reasons why the teachers of elementaryschool at public schools do not use the heritage of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta as a learningmedia in character building are about the cost (2) the learning media in character building usedby the teachers of public elementari school are those related to history subjet fo grade IV and V;(3) the heritage of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta used as as a learning media in characterbuilding in public elementari schools in Surakarta should be packaged in CD for learning withgood quality voice in the explanation. Abstract

AbstrakKarya ilmiah menjadi tututan bagi sivitas akademika, tanpa terkecuali bagi mahasiswa guna meningkatkan kualitas berfikir secara kritis dan sistematis sebagai media refleksi untuk mengukur kemampuan dari bidang ilmu yang telah dipelajari selain untuk mengangkat kredibilitas institusi pendidikan yang mulai bersaing di tingkat internasional. Kenyataan ini tidaklah mudah untuk direalisasikan karena banyaknya faktor yang mempengaruhi pencapaiannya, mulai dari sumber daya manusia, kurangnya pengetahuan, minimnya strategi mengajar yang tepat yang mampu menjembatani kebutuhan mereka dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Dengan pertimbangan kebutuhan karya ilmiah yang harus dipenuhi oleh mahasiswa, program studi pendidikan bahasa Inggris Universitas Widya Dharma Klaten memberikan pengetahuan tentang Academic Writing secara dini dan terstruktur dengan strategi mengajar yang tepat bagi mahasiswa supaya mampu menghasilkan karya ilmiah baik untuk kebutuhan kompetisi, tugas menulis maupun tugas akhir mereka berupa skripsi pada mata kuliah Writing I sampai dengan VI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Proses pengajaran materi Academic Writing guna meningkatkan kualitas karya ilmiah bagi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan bahasa Inggris di Universitas Widya Dharma Klaten, Penelitian ini merupakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data akan dilakukan secara langsung di kelas yang sudah ditentukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi berupa hasil menulis mahasiswa. Data kualitatif akan dianalisis melalui reduksi data, pemaparan data dan proses validasi Kata Kunci : Academic writing, karya ilmiah, strategi mengajar. AbstractAcademic writing is the obligation should be done by all the students to encourage their critical thinking and systematically as the measurement of the material has been learnt and the tool to improve the institution credibility as the academic writing becomes the competition among students in the wild range of categories. In fact, the academic writing achievement is way too hard for students concerning to the many factors influenced, the limited number of the human resources to teach academic writing, the lack of knowledge about academic writing and less of appropriate teaching strategies to improve students ability in writing academically because of its difficulties have become the major factors of students’ low capability in academic writing. Realizing academic needs require students to write some sort of academic writing, the English department of study program decided to teach students as early as possible and provide the appropriate teaching strategies as it needed in the field of competition, assignments and research and it is implemented into curriculum given in the form of Writing I to Writing VI in each semester which should be mastered by student in order to develop their academic writing skills. This study is the qualitative research which collecting the data by conducting observation, interview and documentation. The data collected was analyzed through data reduction, display and also through data triangulation.Keywords: Academic writing, Teaching Strategies.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the relationship between social support and the ability to socialize children with special needs (ABK). The relationship / influence will be carefully examined by the results of previous studies. This research uses a meta-analysis method. Meta analysis is the study of a number of research results in a similar problem. The unit of analysis in this study is written documents about the relationship of social support to the ability of ABK socialization in the form of journal articles and research reports taken by purposive sampling based on their compatibility with the research theme. The main instrument of this study is the researchers themselves assisted with documentation guidance. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of quantitative data with percentages and analysis of qualitative data for the data of the results of the narrative study of the researches that were found. The results showed that social support from both the family and the teacher could have a positive effect on the socialization ability of children with special needs.Keywords: Meta Analysis, Social support, Ability to socialize, ABK AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial terhadap kemampuan sosialisasi anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Hubungan/ pengaruh tersebut akan penulis teliti dari hasil-hasil penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis. Meta analisis merupakan kajian atas sejumlah hasil penelitian dalam masalah yang sejenis. Unit analisis dalam penelitian adalah dokumen-dokumen tertulis tentang penelitian hubungan dukungan sosial terhadap kemampaun sosialisasi ABK yang berupa artikel jurnal dan laporan penelitian yang diambil secara Purposive sampling berdasarkan kesesuaiannya dengan tema penelitian. Instrumen utama penelitian ini ada peneliti sendiri dibantu dengan panduan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif dengan prosentase dan analisis data kualitatif untuk data-data hasil kajian naratif terhadap penelitian-penelitian yang ditemui. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial baik itu dari keluarga maupun guru dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan sosialisasi anak berkebutuhan khusus.Kata Kunci: Meta Analisis, Dukungan sosial, Kemampuan sosialisasi, ABK

Abstract

This research aims at knowing how much consumers undertand about their rights as it is in Undang Undang No 8 1999 about consumers' rights , and knowing whether through education consumers can effectively build justice based on Pancasila. This research is qualitative research. The data sources are consumers, producers, and business people. The data collecting technique is interview, observation, content analysis and focus group discussion. This research applied purposive sampling. The data validity applied method triangulation. The analysis technique applied interactive  analysis. This technique  comprises  data  collecting, data display, data reduction, verification and conclusion. The result of the research says that the consumers do not know about the consumers right protection which is guaranted by UPPK, and consumers education is only effectively conducted in the relation between business people and consumer in buying and selling process. Business people still state clause exoneration which is forbiden by UUPK so that law enforcement is needed. Key words: consumers empowerment, consumers education

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The content / material taught social studies at theState Elementary School District of Banjarsari; (2) the way teachers develop the content /materials in social studies at State Elementary School District of Banjarsari, and (3) The valuespaedagogis of Kraton Surakarta historical heritage which can be used as material developmentof social studies at the State Elementary School District of Banjarsari.This research was conducted at the State Elementary School District of Banjarsari andin Kasunanan, Mangkunegaran and Museum Radyapustoko. Form of research is descriptivequalitative single case study strategy spikes. Source of data derived from informants, places andevents as well as documents. Data collection was carried depth interviews with teachers,principals, and employees Kasunanan, Mangkunegaran and Museum Radyapustoko and otherinformants who really know the historical heritage Kraton Surakarta. Observations carried outon learning activities in the classroom social studies, Kasunanan, Mangkunegaran and MuseumRadyapustoko. Analysis of documents related to historical relics and documents KratonSurakarta curriculum and learning tools, especially social studies teacher. Sampling ispurposive sampling, time sampling and sampling snowbal. To obtain the validity of data usedtriangulation data / sources and methods. The data analysis technique used is interactiveanalysis, the analysis process that moves between the three components include data reduction,data presentation and verification / drawing conclusions that interact with the data collectioncycle.The conclusion of this study: (1) The content / material elementary school social studiesis still a general knowledge about the development of Hindu-Buddhist kingdom and the kingdomof Islam, so the historical heritage Kraton Surakarta not been included as study material; (2) Indeveloping the content / learning material social studies, teachers still use other sources, whilethe historical heritage Kraton Surakarta not be the object of the assignment, and (3) Historicalevidence Kraton Surakarta has left some value paedagogis both from a religious / religious,politically, economically, and culturally so worthy to serve as the development of social studiesmaterials can even be used as study material.Keywords: The historical heritage, development of learning materials, subjects IPS.

Abstract

ABSTRACTReading is one of the language skills needed to be taught in the classroom. Reading is also needed to be mastered by the students, in order to get some information from English text to increase their knowledge. The purpose of reading process is understanding what has been read. Therefore, it cannot be separated from comprehension. The aims of this research were to know whether the use of printed mass media can improve the reading comprehension and to describe the class condition when printed  mass  media  were implemented at  the  eleventh grade of SMK Plus Bhakti Oetama Gondangrejo in Academic Year of 2017/2018. This research was conducted at the Eleventh grade of SMK Plus Bhakti Oetama Gondangrejo. The method of the study was classroom action research which was conducted from August until October 2017. The data were collected through test and non-test. The tests consisted of pre-test and post-tests. While, non-tests consisted of observation, interview, field notes and documentation.  Furthermore,  the  researcher  used  qualitative  and  quantitative  data analysis to analyze the data. The results of the research showed that printed mass media improved the students’ reading comprehension. The mean score of pre-test was 51.46, post-test 1  was 69.96 and  post-test 2  was 79.96. T-test  was  used  to  compare the significance of teaching reading comprehension with df = n-1 = 25. In t-table values, significance 5% was 2.060 and significance 1% was 2.787. The result of pre-test and post-test 1 was significance which 2.060 < 17.452 > 2.787. Then t-test between post-test 1  and post-test 2  the result  was higher which 2.060  < 16.025 > 2.787. It can be concluded that using of printed mass media especially C’ n S Magazine improved students’ reading comprehension. Moreover, the class condition was more conducive after  they  used  texts  from  C’  n  S  Magazine.  A  lot  of  students  were  excited  and motivated during teaching learning process. Keywords: Reading Comprehension; Printed Mass Media; Classroom Action Research  ABSTRAKMembaca adalah salah satu keterampilan bahasa yang perlu diajarkan di kelas. Membaca juga perlu dikuasai oleh siswa, untuk mendapatkan beberapa informasi dari teks bahasa Inggris untuk menambah pengetahuan mereka. Tujuan dari proses membaca adalah memahami apa yang telah dibaca. Karena itu, tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pemahaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan media massa cetak dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dan untuk menggambarkan kondisi kelas ketika media massa cetak dilaksanakan di kelas sebelas SMK Plus Bhakti Oetama Gondangrejo di Tahun Akademik 2017/2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI SMK Plus Bhakti Oetama Gondangrejo. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dari Agustus hingga Oktober 2017. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan non-tes. Tes terdiri dari pre-test dan post-test. Sedangkan non-tes terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, peneliti menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media massa cetak meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 51,46, post-test 1 adalah 69,96 dan post-test 2 adalah 79,96. Uji-t digunakan untuk membandingkan pentingnya membaca pemahaman mengajar dengan df = n-1 = 25. Dalam nilai t-tabel, signifikansi 5% adalah 2.060 dan signifikansi 1% adalah 2.787. Hasil pre-test dan post-test 1 adalah signifikansi yaitu 2,060 <17,452> 2,787. Kemudian uji-t antara post-test 1 dan post-test 2 hasilnya lebih tinggi yaitu 2.060 <16.025> 2.787. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan media cetak, terutama Majalah C 'n S meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Selain itu, kondisi kelas lebih kondusif setelah mereka menggunakan teks dari Majalah C 'n S. Banyak siswa yang bersemangat dan termotivasi selama proses belajar mengajar. Kata kunci: Pemahaman Membaca; Media Massa Cetak; Penelitian Tindakan Kelas

Abstract

Curriculum structure of Early Childhood Education contains development programswhich cover religion and moral values, physical ability, cognitive, language, social emotionaland arts. These aspects need improvement through learning in Early Childhood Education.Child`s world is world of play. The most effective way a child to learn is through games becausechildren will never bored, they will happy when they played, and with playing the children canlearn a lot about things.Today learning in Early Childhood Education have a lot of distortion. There are a lot ofEarly Childhood Education institution applying learning with teacher centered style, this can beobserve by the children just only sit, hear, and must do their homework without option to chooselearning activity which held. For various Early Childhood Education aspects can developoptimally, needs an innovative learning approach which fun in Early Childhood Education.
