Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of brand image IM3 to loyalty, either directly or indirectlythrough the satisfaction. This research used a quantitative approach and the respondents which the customersof Indosat IM3 on four Universities in Malang . The data collection used accidental sampling method. Pathanalysis was used to test and analyze hypotheses by considering the classical assumption test. The resultsof the study showed that the brand image significantly affect the service satisfaction and customer loyalty.Indicators of Brand image contributed 47.5% to total customer satisfaction. Meanwhile satisfaction accountedfor 30.7% of customer loyalty. Two indicators of brand image consist of guarantees and social identificationhas no significant effect on customer satisfaction. While, two other indicators of brand image consist ofpersonal identification and status has a significant influence on customer satisfaction. From path analysisknown that there is indirectly influence of the status of personal identification to loyalty through customersatisfaction.

Abstract

Safety management practices not only improve working conditions but also positively influenceemployees, attitudes and behaviors with regard to safety, thereby reducing accidents in workplace. Thisstudy measured employees’ perceptions on six safety management practices and self-reported safety knowledge,safety motivation, safety compliance and safety participation. The study conducts a survey by usingquestionnaire among 69 Pelaksana Produksi Pabrik III (Executive Production Factory) PT. Petrokimia Gresik.The reliability and validity of all the indicators were found acceptable. The data are analyzed using PartialLeast Square (PLS) with SmartPLS version 2.0.The result is safety management practices have direct andsignificant influence to safety performance, safety management practices have indirect and significant influenceto safety performance through safety knowledge, and safety management practices have indirect influence tosafety performance through safety motivation.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper attempts to construct eWOM concepts based on input-process-output perspectivesthat produce a framework based on the identification of academic literature. This is based on the developmentof the internet world, e-commerce, and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) that is able to influence consumerbehavior. The approach of this paper uses the literature review method of several journals relevant to thetheme and study of communication principles in Islamic perspective and then discuss the data. The findingsin this paper suggest that eWOM is relatively new. This is considered to be quite representative in theliterature review regarding eWOM. The results of the review also get some research showing the theory thatexplains about eWOM phenomenon. The discussion not only aims to meet the gap in eWOM research butalso produces an overview in analyzing eWOM communication. It can present a structured approach inresearching various literatures and identify existing trends and gaps, aiming to find an overview in research oneWOM. The results can integrate the classification framework that can present the concept framework inother studies.

Abstract

The exchange rate will react against change of inflation and interest rate, at least there are three theories that explain the relationship between inflation, interest rate, and exchange rate, namely purchasing power parity, interest rate parity, and international fisher effect. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of purchasing power parity, interest rate parity, and international fisher effect on the Rupiah exchange rate against US Dollar. The populations in this research included inflation time series data, nominal interest rate, real interest rate, and Rupiah exchange rate. The data used in is secondary data form the inflation report, nominal interest rate, real interest rate, and Rupiah exchange rate quarterly. The independent variable used purchasing power parity, interest rate parity, and international fisher effect,the dependent variable used the Rupiah exchange rate against US Dollar. The result of this study indicated that the purchasing power parity, interest rate parity simultaneously had a significant influence on the exchange rate of Rupiah/US Dollar.

Abstract

This research was conducted to test the influence of financial management on financial performanceof UKM/ SMEs Batik in Bangkalan Regency. This research used census method therefore the sample in thisresearch is all UKM Batik in Tanjung Bumi Village, Bangkalan Regency. The total of them were 66 UKM Batik.The data collection methods in this research were Observation and Documentation Technique. The dataanalysis technique used in this research was Multiple Linear Regression. The result of this research was theVariable of Financing Activity was the strongest variable as the measurement of financial performance ofUKM in Bangkalan Regency. Meanwhile, the variable of Investment Activity was the weakest variable. Afterthat, both partially and simultaneously, the variable of operation activity, financing activity, and investmentactivity have role in the financial performance of UKM Batik in Bangkalan Regency

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or corporate social responsibility undertaken by PT KertasLeces known as CSR (Community Development Partnership Program). This study used descriptive qualitativemethod, which the researchers suggested empirical problem at PT Kertas Leces beforehand which thenbecame the basis of the holding of a study with a focus on the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) or Community Development Partnership Program (CSR) in the perspective of Islam. Based on thesurvey results revealed that the outputs or outcomes of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or CommunityDevelopment Partnership Program (CSR) PT Kertas Leces are their environmental management work thenfulfilled the rights of employees and their families, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) or partner inmateswho received soft loan can be independent and grow, their waste handling is good then created the environmentaround PT Kertas Leces, and their social investments PT Kertas Leces to the people around. In the Islamicperspective of what is done by PT Kertas Leces is appropriate, namely in terms of the values of (a) preservationof the environment and preserve it; (B) efforts to eradicate poverty; (C) putting something morally cleanerthan morally dirty, although bringing greater profits; and (d) to be honest and trustworthy.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the influence of emotional quotient to job performance; the influencespiritual quotient to job performance; to know organizational citizenship behavior mediated emotional quotientand spiritual quotient to job performance. This research was explanatory research. The population in thisstudy are 155 employees of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Malang and the number of samples are 61 employees.Research results revealed that emotional quotient has no effect directly to job performance; spiritual quotienthas no effect directly to job performance; OCB is not able to mediate emotional quotient to job performanceand OCB was able to mediate the spiritual quotient to job performance.

Abstract

Microfinance as an effective tool provides financial service for those who do not have the accessor could not be accessed by a commercial bank or other financial institution. The Growth of Baitul Maal watamwil (BMT) as one of the Islamic financial institution is very fast and massive. There are many challengesand obstacles that inhibit the growth of it, either from internal or external of BMT. The purpose of this studyis to identify the issues faced by the urban of BMT (Bogor City), used Analytic Network Process (ANP). Thestudy also attempt to provide solution of the BMT problem faced. The result of this study showed that theproblem of internal Issues was more dominant than External Issues, with the priority level of 54%. Based onthe Internal Problems aspect, the dominant issue was the problem of “Low Quality and understanding ofHuman Resource”. Meanwhile an aspect of the external problem is “the strictness of Business Competition”.Furthermore, the solution could be implemented are 1) Training for Human Recourse 2) BMT Mentoring bythe relevant government.

Abstract

Facing ASEAN Economic Community 2015, SMEs in Indonesia should have competence andcompetitive advantage as the key to face competition for trading in ASEAN levels. The competitivenessexpected is including quality of the product aspect, access for information of marketing and resources.Because of that, this research has a goal to know the role of E-Commerce with a case study of SMEs in MalangCity. Research Method used is field observation in some SMEs that have implemented E-Commerce as MarketingStrategy. Results of the research indicate that the significant role of E-Commerce to the improvement of marketaccess of SMEs in Malang. The biggest influence is on improvement sales of products and the expansion ofnew market shares. In the future, this research is expected to be an overview of the importance utilization of Ecommerce.The lack of knowledge of E-commerce strategy and access for marketing information for SMEs inIndonesia became one of the problems that must be resolved in facing AEC 2015.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of board of directors and commissioner diversitieson leverage ratio. The study population includes all manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia StockExchange in the period of 2013. Samples were taken from 63 manufacturing companies listed on IndonesiaStock Exchange in the period of 2013 with a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used wasmultiple linear regressions. The results of this study show that the board of directors and commissioners donot significantly influence the leverage ratio.
