Abstract

The research is aimed to determine the influence of organizational culture on employee performance mediated by the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The sample of the research is 70 persons who worked as an administrative/ a non educative employees in Manado State University. The data collecting in this study uses three types of scale; those are the organizational culture scale, job performance scale, and organizational citizenship behavior scale. The results of multiple regression analysis shows that OCB is not a mediator between organizational culture and job performance correlation. However, when in together organizational culture and OCB have a correlation with job performance with the relational coefficient (R) 0,420 (p=0,004) and by the effective donation (Adjusted R Square) 17,7 %. Organizational culture perception can become OCB predictor with effective contribution mark 10%, while for the job performance have an effective contribution mark 15,2 %. Furthermore, OCB also can become a predictor of job performance with an effective contribution mark 15%.

Abstract

Conducted a variety of deviant behavior of children and adolescents (such as conduct disorder, juvenile delinquency and criminality) have risk factors such as the rise of psychopathic personality disorder. This study aimed to test the hypothesis of attachment relationship of parents to children psychopathic tendencies. The sample was a teenager in prison. Methods of data collection using a scale child-parent attachment and psychopathic tendencies scale. The analysis technique used is regression. The results showed a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.370 with F at 12,380, p = 0.001 (p 0.05), which means that there is a significant correlation between child-parent attachment with psychopathic tendencies in adolescents. Determinant coefficient () of 13.7%, this indicates that the variable child-parent attachment affects the psychopathic tendencies of 13. 7% and 86.3% were influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of retirement planning, religiosity, positive affect and negative affect on retirement anxiety on employees of PT.Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) III Medan area. The sample size of this study was 100 people taken 20% of the total population. Data collection in this study using four scales namely retirement anxiety, retirement planning, religiosity, and PANAS (positive negative afect Affect scale). The results of multiple regression analysis showed jointly retirement planning, religiosity, positive affect and negative affect may be a predictor to predict retirement anxiety by 31.3% to R = 0.559 (p = 0.001). Retirement planning can be a predictor retirement anxiety of 6.3% (p = 0.012), the religiosity of 6.3% (p = 0.013), positive affect by 7.2% (p = 0.007), and negative affect by 26.3% (p = 0.001)

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between bullying burnout experienced by employees. The hypothesis was a positive relationship between bullying with burnout in employees. This means that the higher the tendency of bullying experienced by employees experiencing burnout will be higher, the lower the contrary, the trend of bullying experienced burnout in employees will get low. Subjects were employees of the company Liquid Club engaged in the field of entertainment as much as 40 people. The results of the analysis of the obtained product moment correlation r xy of 0.373 (p 0.01). This suggests a positive relationship between bullying experienced by the employee burnout. Determinant coefficient obtained for r 2 = 0.139 means bullying against burnout variable contribution of 13.9%. Thus the hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between bullying experienced by burnout in employees can be accepted.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship of achievement motivation and self-esteem with the performance of primary school teachers in Malang. The results of this study indicate that between self-esteem and performance of teachers is a significant positive correlation with the yield at 6.416, p = 0.022 (p 0.05). It shows the higher the self-esteem of a teacher, the higher the performance of elementary school teachers in Malang, and conversely the lower the self-esteem, the lower the performance of primary school teachers in Malang. The results of research that achievement motivation have a relationship with the teacher's performance, it is in accordance with the theories that have been proposed which states that the presence of high motivation from both inside and outside, then the teacher will be able to improve its performance optimally. While effective contribution shows that self-esteem and achievement motivation with the same effective contribution of 40.7% of the teachers' performance, the remaining 59.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aimed to know adjusment of college students with low vision. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method. Data were obtained through interviews with five students with low vision who are undergoing the process of education in college. The data were analyzed thematically and use coding of the verbatim record from the interview. Strengthening the credibility of the research conducted by use investigator triangulation and checking by peers through discussion. Based on the analysis results obtained five main themes. These themes describe problems faced by Persons with low vision in the university campuses, Academic Adjustment in the university, Social Adjustment in the university, Adjustment Strategies used by persons with low vision to Solve Learning Problems in the university, and Factors Affecting Persons with low vision Academic success in Higher Education.

Abstract

This Research with the phenomenological approach aimed to understand meaning of political trust of mahasiswa santri and knowing the psychological processes underlying, by describe meaning of relationship between mahasiswa santri and Kiai in the social system in pesantren as the basis of political relationships that occur in it. This study used in-depth interviews to collect data from 5 respondents. Collection of respondents used snow-ball technique. The validity of our results used the intersubjective validity. The results showed that students political trust against Kiai was the form of identification based on paternalistic interpersonal relationships. Paternalism bring political inklusivisme that is strengthened by the judge of competency consistency and performance of kiai as political leaders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi kontribusi dukungan sosial terhadap prestasi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan indigenous psychology dengan metode survey kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan open ended questionnaire. Total responden 250 partisipan siswa SD, rentang usia antara 10-12 tahun. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan proses kategorisasi content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi dukungan sosial dari keluarga lebih berperan terhadap pencapaian prestasi pada subjek SD (86,4%), dibandingkan kontribusi dukungan sosial yang diterima dari guru (6,4%) dan teman (4%). Besarnya kontribusi dukungan sosial secara langsung terhadap pencapaian prestasi tidak terlepas dari bentuk dukungan yang diterima oleh subjek. Bentuk dukungan emosional (44,4%) merupakan frekuensi bentuk dukungan sosial yang paling tinggi diterima subjek siswa SD dari sumber dukungan sosial yang mereka miliki yang diikuti bentuk dukungan spiritual (18,8%), dukungan relasional (16,0%), dukungan informasional (12,4%), dukungan material (5,2%) dan dukungan temporal (3,2%).

Abstract

This study aimed to answer the question "what are the skills required from prospective employees for HR position ?". This study used a qualitative descriptive survey approach. The data analysis used content analysis techniques. Source of data of this study study were 100 companies who advertise job openings in online job site with HR position with any of the terms was psychology graduate. From the analysis found two categories of skills required for the position HR company that was hard skills and soft skills. Understanding of labor laws was a hard skill that has a top frequency, at 19.79 % , followed by the ability to recruit and selection (14.5 %) , training and development of employees (12.98 %), and the ability to use psychological tests (11.83 %) . Category of soft skills that has top frequency was communication skills (12.09 %) , followed by the ability to work in teams or individually (9.89 %) , ability to work under pressure (9.62 %) , and good personality (7.96%).

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the relationship between self concept and creativity with students interest in entrepreneurship. The partisipants were class XII student SMKN 2 and 4 Madiun, totally 420 students. Date collection metod used scale interest in enterprenuer, self concept, CORE scale. Data analysis used was multiple regressions. Analytical result obtained by double regress F (59,840), p = 0,000 (p 0,01) which means that self concept and creativity have a significant relationship with interest in enterprenuership. The result of correlation analysis between self concept by showing interest in enterpreneurship with t (9,580), p = 0,000 (p 0.05) which means there was a very significant positive correlation between self concept and interest in enterprenuership.The result of correlation analysis between creativity and interrest entreprenuership showed t (2,012) with p = 0,046 (p 0.05) which means there was significant positive correlatioan between creativity and interest in enterprenuership.
