Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, adversity quotient and self-efficacy of class XII students in welcoming UAN (Ujian Akhir Nasional). The research samples count to 122 students. This research used multiple regression analysis techniques. From the correlation analysis it is known that there is a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy in grade XII MAN 1 Magelang (rx1y = 0,6; p = 0,000) which means that the first hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, there is positive relationship between adversity quotient and self-efficacy in grade XII students MAN 1 Magelang (rx2y = 0,285; p = 0,01) which means that the second hypoyhesis of the study is also accepted. The third hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and adversity quotient simultaneously with self-efficacy was accepted because R = 0,61 and F count F table (35,203 3,072).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi kontribusi dukungan sosial terhadap prestasi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan indigenous psychology dengan metode survey kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan open ended questionnaire. Total responden 250 partisipan siswa SD, rentang usia antara 10-12 tahun. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan proses kategorisasi content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi dukungan sosial dari keluarga lebih berperan terhadap pencapaian prestasi pada subjek SD (86,4%), dibandingkan kontribusi dukungan sosial yang diterima dari guru (6,4%) dan teman (4%). Besarnya kontribusi dukungan sosial secara langsung terhadap pencapaian prestasi tidak terlepas dari bentuk dukungan yang diterima oleh subjek. Bentuk dukungan emosional (44,4%) merupakan frekuensi bentuk dukungan sosial yang paling tinggi diterima subjek siswa SD dari sumber dukungan sosial yang mereka miliki yang diikuti bentuk dukungan spiritual (18,8%), dukungan relasional (16,0%), dukungan informasional (12,4%), dukungan material (5,2%) dan dukungan temporal (3,2%).

Abstract

One of the interests in childhood development is in sex. Masturbation is the normal phase performed in children age 3-6 tahun (Phallic Phase) but should immediately diverted to other things. Masturbation as a habit can lead to other developmental tasks hampered because the attention, engraving and energy of children focused on one thing only. This study aims to determine the role of behavior therapy against the masturbation in childhood to prevent the increase of LGBT actor. The subject of this research is two childrens who do behavior of masturbation in the Regency and Malang City. The research method used is case study. The intervention methods are Model ing and Operant conditioning with token economy method. Observation, behavior interview an psychological test used as the assessment method. While the assessment and measurement in this research by using reversal design or A-B-A-B. The results of research shows that behavior therapy has an important role as a form of psychological intervention that can overcome the problem of masturbation behavior on childhood. Thus the possibility that the child becomes LGBT can be prevented at the beginning and behavior therapy can be applied tosubjects with the same widely.Salah satu minat dalam perkembangan masa kanak-kanak adalah seks. Masturbasi merupakan fase normal yang dilakukan pada anak usia 3-6 tahun (Fase Phallic) tetapi harus segera dialihkan ke hal lain. Masturbasi sebagai kebiasaan dapat mengakibatkan tugas perkembangan lainnya terhambat karena perhatian, pikiran dan energi anak terpusat pada satu hal saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran terapi perilaku terhadap masturbasi pada masa kanak-kanak dalam mencegah peningkatan pelaku LGBT. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua anak yang melakukan perilaku masturbasi secara berlebihan di Kabupaten dan Kota Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Metode intervensi yang digunakan adalah Modeling dan Operant conditioning dengan metode token economy. Observation, wawancara perilaku, tes psikologi digunakan sebagai metode penilaian. Sedangkan penilaian dan pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain pembalikan atau A-B-A-B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terapi perilaku memiliki peran penting sebagai salah satu bentuk intervensi psikologis yang dapat mengatasi masalah perilaku onani pada masa kanak-kanak. Dengan demikian kemungkinan anak menjadi LGBT dapat dicegah sejak awal dan terapi perilaku dapat diterapkan pada subjek yang sama secara luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji bagaimana peran hardiness orang tua dalam mendukung pendidikan anak ketika berada di pesantren. Melalui pendekatan survey kualitatif deskriptif dalam perspektif indigenous psychology. Penelitian ini melibatkan 111 subjek yang terdiri dari 108 responden kuesioner dan 3 subjek wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa aspek commitment, control, challenge sebagai bagian dari teori hardiness yang memainkan peran sangat signifikan dalam mendukung anak di lingkungan pesantren. Sikap konsisten (39,81%) dan optimis (35,19%) termasuk sikap yang dominan dalam aspek komitmen orang tua, sementara dukungan emosional (48,15%) dan kolaborasi parenting (38,89%) untuk mendukung kontrol yang efektif. Strategi resilience (37,04%) yang menonjol dalam menghadapi tantangan, hal tersebut mencerminkan ketangguhan orang tua ketika menghadapi sebuah tantangan. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya orang tua untuk memahami kombinasi antara hardiness, dukungan emosional, dan kolaborasi parenting dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter anak serta memberikan sebuah wawasan yang baru dalam bidang psikologi pendidikan dan pengasuhan yang ada dalam konteks di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

Flaming di media sosial, yaitu perilaku mengirimkan pesan dengan nada kasar atau menyerang yang telah menjadi fenomena yang marak di kalangan pengguna internet, termasuk mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap flaming di media social kepada teman sebayanya, serta dampak yang ditimbulkannya terhadap interaksi online. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam pada mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan di Universitas Gajayana Malang untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai pandangan mereka tentang flaming, alasan di balik terjadinya flaming, serta bagaimana mereka merespons perilaku tersebut terutama pada teman sebayanya. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola persepsi dan pengalaman mahasiswa terkait flaming. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa umumnya memandang flaming sebagai perilaku negatif yang dapat merusak hubungan interpersonal dan menurunkan kualitas komunikasi online. Beberapa faktor pemicu flaming yang teridentifikasi meliputi perbedaan pendapat yang tajam, anonimitas di media sosial, dan kurangnya kontrol emosional. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa mahasiswa sering merasa tertekan atau terganggu oleh flaming, namun sebagian cenderung mengabaikan atau memblokir pelaku flaming sebagai strategi penanganan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah flaming di media sosial merupakan isu serius yang memengaruhi interaksi mahasiswa secara online, dan diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih bijaksana dalam berkomunikasi di dunia maya.

Abstract

Komunikasi interpersonal merupakan elemen penting dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama dalam interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pola komunikasi interpersonal guru di dalam kelas serta pengaruhnya terhadap keaktifan siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap beberapa guru, ditemukan bahwa keterbukaan, perbedaan generasi, dan strategi komunikasi yang digunakan guru mempengaruhi efektivitas interaksi di kelas. Wawancara serta observasi partisipatif penelitian ini melibatkan 4 (empat) guru pelajaran umum kelas XI (sebelas) dan 1 (satu) orang guru bimbingan konseling Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMK). Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan yakni bahwa faktor keterbukaan, perbedaan generasi, serta pendekatan komunikasi yang diterapkan guru memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap efektivitas komunikasi dan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Guru yang menerapkan pendekatan berbasis personal dan fleksibel cenderung lebih berhasil dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Hambatan komunikasi yang ditemukan meliputi perbedaan karakter siswa, keterbatasan adaptasi terhadap teknologi, serta faktor sosial-emosional yang mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini dikorelasikan dengan teori komunikasi interpersonal dan teori active learning yang keduanya menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan komunikasi secara langsung kepada siswa guna membangun sikap kritis dan aktif atas suatu pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of family functioning and self-control on procrastination behavior among students. The research subjects consist of 300 active students in Malang City. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through three measurement scales: the family functioning scale, the self-control scale, and the procrastination scale. The sampling technique was conducted using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0 software for Windows with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate a highly significant influence of family functioning and self-control on students' procrastination levels. The correlation coefficient of these two variables on procrastination produced a significance value (p) of 0.00 (p < 0.01). The effective contribution of family functioning and self-control to procrastination behavior was 58%. Therefore, this study concludes that family functioning and self-control have a positive and highly significant influence on students' tendency to delay tasks in Malang City.

Abstract

Social media has become a platform that influences people's lifestyles and consumption patterns. Consumerist behavior is often triggered by various psychological factors, such as the bandwagon effect, where individuals are driven to follow trends to feel accepted and self-control, which plays a crucial role in managing impulsive consumption.This study is a quantitative research that aims to analyze the influence of the bandwagon effect and self-control on consumerist shopping behavior on social media. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire survey targeting Generation Z, with a total of 280 respondents participating in this study. The collected data was processed and tested using the Normality Assumption Test and Regression Test. The results show that the bandwagon effect (X1) has a positive and significant impact on consumerist behavior (Y), where the tendency to follow trends or others' actions encourages individuals to make purchases without deep consideration. Meanwhile, self-control (X2) is found to have a negative and stronger influence on consumerist behavior (Y) compared to the bandwagon effect (X1). Individuals with high levels of self-control are able to manage impulses, resist external pressure, and make more rational decisions, leading to lower consumerist behavior. These findings indicate that self-control (X2) plays a crucial role in mitigating the negative effects of the bandwagon effect (X1), especially in the context of online shopping on platforms like TikTok.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between self-esteem and social support on cyberbullying behavior among students. The research participants consisted of 120 students aged 18–22 years, 55 women and 65 men selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using three instruments, namely the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale to measure the level of self-esteem, the Social Support Questionnaire to assess social support, and the Cyberbullying Behavior Scale to measure the intensity of cyberbullying behavior. The regression analysis results show that self-esteem has a significant negative effect on cyberbullying behavior (β = -0.202, t = -2.091, p = 0.039), which means that the higher an individual's self-esteem, the lower their tendency to commit cyberbullying. In contrast, social support had a significant positive effect on cyberbullying (β = 0.196, t = 2.031, p = 0.045), indicating that in some cases, certain social supports can increase involvement in cyberbullying. The simultaneous regression test shows that both variables contribute significantly to cyberbullying (F = 3.115, p = 0.048). The results of this research emphasize the importance of developing intervention programs that focus on increasing self-esteem and positive social support as preventive measures in reducing cyberbullying behavior among students.

Abstract

Pesantren, as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, create unique environments where Santri (students) navigate complex social dynamics and behavioral expectations. Understanding conformity in these settings is crucial for developing educational approaches that balance religious character formation with individual well-being. This research examines the life experiences of Santri and the meaning of conformity in the Pesantren environment of Lembaga Tinggi Pesantren Luhur Malang (LTPLM). Involving nine Santri with a minimum stay of two years, this study employed a descriptive phenomenological approach through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results showed that conformity includes adherence to rules, acceptance of Pesantren values, and cultural adaptation, which support the strengthening of religious identity and the learning of social values. The findings also revealed challenges such as social pressure to conform and the potential for negative behavior due to the culture of seniority. This study concludes that conformity in Pesantren serves as a profound learning process for Santri character building. The implication of this research is the need for adaptive educational policies to minimize the negative impacts of conformity while supporting the development of socially and spiritually balanced Santri.
