Abstract

Transfer services represent advancements in banking technology within information systems, significantly enhancing operational efficiency across various domains. This case study delves into the Latte Factor concept within the interbank transfer service, elucidating the accrual of minor expenses that, if overlooked, can markedly diminish daily income. The FLIP application emerges as a pioneering tool providing cost-free inter-bank transfer services. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method serves as the analytical framework, encompassing validity and reliability tests (Measurement Model Analysis), and Path Analysis (Structural Model), aimed at scrutinizing the relationships among variables within the model. The SEM data emanates from 100 respondents utilizing the FLIP application in the Depok area, spanning diverse professions and age groups. With commendable outcomes in terms of data validity, reliability, and path analysis utilizing the SEM method, it can be deduced that the FLIP application exerts a significant influence on users within the interbank transfer system. Consequently, the data results furnish substantive value, affirming the efficacy of the FLIP application in the financial landscape.

Abstract

In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, mobile applications have become integral to everyday life, transforming interactions across various services, including food procurement. Despite the growing popularity of online food sales, challenges persist in ensuring accessibility and user satisfaction, particularly with traditional dishes like "bakso tusuk." This research aims to address these challenges by prioritizing intuitive user interface design and enhancing user experience within a specialized food sales application for bakso tusuk. Through the effective integration of UI/UX design elements, the goal is to deliver a seamless and enjoyable online shopping experience for users, thereby fostering trust and bolstering business growth within the digital sphere. Employing the Design Thinking methodology, the study progresses through empathizing with users, defining problems, generating ideas, prototyping solutions, and testing outcomes, ultimately striving to produce a user-centric application that positively impacts the online culinary industry and enhances consumer convenience in digital food purchasing. Recommendations include broader engagement with respondents for empathy-driven problem-solving and future updates tailored for web-based platforms, ensuring ongoing enhancement and competitiveness in the dynamic market.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) governance is a framework used by organizations to effectively manage and control their information technology resources, aiming to maximize business value. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS), in its responsibility to provide critical data, faces challenges in optimizing their IT management. This research aims to apply the COBIT 2019 framework as a structure to improve Information Technology (IT) governance at BPS, facilitating efficient and smooth management of critical data services. The findings of this research reveal that BPS has not carried out a comprehensive assessment of Information Technology (IT) governance. Apart from that, there are challenges in managing order data and stock information. In addition, BPS requires a more structured information technology governance process to ensure targeted and effective use of technology, so that companies can achieve their goals more efficiently. The literature review process helps in identifying gaps in current research, paving the way for more comprehensive and insightful research. After conducting calculations for the analysis of objectives APO13 and DSS04, different results were obtained. In APO13, the questions asked only reached level 3, which means it stopped below 85%, specifically at 66%. Meanwhile, in DSS04 the questions asked continued up to the last level with a consistently high percentage, above 85%. By integrating these findings into the research, this study becomes enriched with a strong theoretical foundation, ensuring an in-depth and rigorous analysis of this issue.

Abstract

The use of mobile banking services has grown rapidly and revolutionized the banking sector, offering customers convenient and efficient access to banking services without time and distance limitations. However, this convenience comes with information security risks. Therefore, user information security behavior is crucial to minimize these risks and their impacts. This study aims to analyze the information security behaviors of mobile banking users in Indonesia, focusing on the factors that influence these behaviors. This research surveyed 365 respondents who use mobile banking applications, with diverse genders, ages, education levels, and mobile banking application preferences. The study measured five dimensions of information security behavior: password management, messaging app usage, internet usage, devices usage in public, and incident reporting. The research found that information security behaviors among mobile banking users vary significantly. These findings highlight the importance of banks integrating user behaviors into comprehensive information security strategies. This study contributes to enhancing information security practices in mobile banking by providing insights into user behaviors and demographic influences.

Abstract

This research presents the development of a Group Attendance System for higher education institutions using Laravel and VueJS frameworks. The system addresses the limitations of traditional attendance tracking methods by offering a web-based, mobile-optimized solution. Employing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, the study outlines the design and implementation process, including the creation of a user-friendly interface for both administrators and student coordinators. The application facilitates efficient management of student groups, scheduling of meetings, and real-time attendance tracking. Comprehensive blackbox testing validated the system's functionality across critical areas such as user authentication, student registration, and attendance recording. The results demonstrate significant improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of attendance management, contributing to the advancement of digital solutions in educational administration..

Abstract

The role of technology in today's business world is becoming increasingly important, especially in supporting the growth of companies or organizations. By optimizing Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT), institutions can enhance their competitiveness. However, the optimization of information technology assets also increases the risk that can threaten the achievement of company goals. Effective IS/IT risk management is crucial to maximizing the usefulness of information technology assets and improving business process efficiency. The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) requires good IS/IT risk management, particularly for the E-Gudang Information System used to manage Confiscated Goods (BHP). The risks of data loss, information leakage, and data input errors are challenges faced by Satpol PP in Surabaya. The E-Gudang Information System helps control BHP, manage inventory, and is integrated with other departments such as the public order and general affairs divisions. However, operational risks remain. Therefore, a comprehensive information technology risk management analysis is needed. The ISO 31000:2018 method is used to identify, assess, and manage these risks. ISO 31000:2018 provides guidelines for risk assessment, helping to evaluate the risk value of each identified risk. This study aims to minimize potential risks and provide recommendations to Satpol PP regarding risks in the E-Gudang Information System. The results of this study found 12 potential risk threats, including 2 with a high level, 9 with a medium level, and 1 with a low level.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis of comments on YouTube videos related to MPL Season 13 was conducted using an Ensemble Learning-based classification method. This study focuses on identifying sentiment patterns in comments and determining team popularity based on positive fan support. The methods employed include initial planning, data collection through scraping techniques using the YouTube Data API v3, and preprocessing steps. From a total of 6,424 comments collected, the number of relevant comments was reduced to 5,185 after the cleaning, case folding, stopword removal, slang conversion, stemming, and tokenization stages, resulting in 3,131 positive comments and 2,064 negative comments. Various classification methods were applied simultaneously and combined using ensemble machine learning techniques with a majority voting approach. Before classification, the data was processed using SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique) to address class imbalance. The testing results showed that the hard voting method achieved an accuracy of 86,70% (with 90% training data and 10% testing data), while the soft voting method reached an accuracy of 86,17%. The labeling process was carried out using the Flair library, validated by a confusion matrix. The application of a labeling method that combines both automatic and manual approaches successfully improved classification accuracy and minimized potential errors. Additionally, this analysis identified the highest supporter count, with 877 supporters for EVOS, followed by RRQ and ONIC with 743 and 556 supporters, respectively. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of sentiment analysis in the context of e-sports and open up opportunities for further analysis in future research.

Abstract

The transformation of the manual attendance system into an online system has been carried out by various parties, including government agencies, offices, and schools. For example, a school that has implemented an electronic-based learning management system can use the attendance form feature as a way to record students' attendance in the learning process. However, this feature is considered to have shortcomings when applied during face-to-face learning in class because absent students can still fill in from wherever they are as long as they can access the form. The existence of a radius limit is necessary to limit only students who are within the range of the class area to be able to fill out the attendance form. This research aims to design an online presence system by applying the haversine formula using the Extreme Programming method. This formula was chosen because it is suitable for calculating the distance between two coordinate points on the earth's surface assuming the earth is round. Extreme Programming is a method for building fast software systems that consists of planning, design, coding, and testing phases. Through 30 experiments, a percentage of 96.6% was obtained, which shows that the haversine formula can be applied to limit the distance in a presence system.

Abstract

User needs for applications considering rapid technological advancements present unique challenges. In this context, the KANO method is employed to provide an overview of the required features and to depict user perception of needs and satisfaction levels. The application designed for the RIOT Indonesia running community offers 10 attributes/features: Attractive UI, Easy to Use, Informative, Data Security, App Performance, Notification Feature, Attendance Feature, Gamification Feature, Strava Integration, and Calendar of Activities. The distributed questionnaire is expected to yield results that map out each feature. In conclusion, this study successfully captured respondents’ perceptions of feature requirements for the RIOT:ID application. Responses from participants helped categorize each feature, revealing that Data Security is a high-importance, One-dimensional feature, although it has a lower impact on satisfaction. Seven features, including Attractive UI, Ease of Use, and Strava Integration, fall under the Attractive category, indicating their significance and potential to enhance satisfaction. Conversely, Notification and Gamification features have minimal influence on user satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the readiness to adopt information technology in the Gapoktan Life Baru community in East Cempaka OKU District using the Community Readiness Model (CRM) method. CRM measures several aspects, namely Community Effort, Knowledge Towards Issues, Leadership, Community Conditions, Community Knowledge, and Related Resources. This research involved 23 respondents who were members of the New Life Gapoktan. The research results show that the Community Effort (CE) aspect obtained a score of 3.86, Knowledge Towards Issue (KT) 3.32, Leadership (LS) 4.55, Community Conditions (KM) 3.89, Community Knowledge (PM) 3, 45, and Related Resources (ST) 4.06. Based on the overall score, the level of community readiness reached a final score of 3.86, which indicates that the community is at the initiation stage, which means efforts to adopt information technology have begun, but still require further strengthening. These results indicate that society has begun to realize the importance of implementing information technology, although more intensive efforts are still needed to achieve a higher level of readiness in adopting information technology optimally.
