Abstract

Capitalization in the banking industry plays a very important role because it serves as a buffeagainst the possibility of risks and indicators of bank soundness. The purpose of this study is analyze the effect of risk and quality of management on the level of capital in Banks listed on thIndonesia Stock Exchange. This research includes descriptive type of research that intends describe the facts on the object of research and test the hypothesis based on empirical da ( empirical research ) . The study used secondary data from Indonesia Stock Exchange ( BEI ) in thperiod 2007-2011. The study population is all banking companies listed on the BEI. The sampleused are 28 banking companies taken with purposive sampling technique. Data obtained froICMD and IDX. Data analysis technique using multiple regression analysis. The result of thresearch concludes that: ( 1 ) NPL risk and index value risk ( Zrisk ) have negative effect on capitaratio ( Capital Adequecy Ratio-CAR ) . The magnitude of the risk of non-performing loans and the risof credit value will cause the bank to establish a credit abolishment reserve, the formation of thcredit cancellation reserves will lead to a reduction in income that can be used as additioncapital, so the sufficiency of capital needs will be reduced ( 2 ) capital ratios. ( 3 ) The managemequality ratio of Net Interest Margin ( NIM ) , Liquid Asset to Total Deposite ( LASCF ) , and Equity Total Liabilities ( EQTL ) have no effect on capital ratios.Keywords: capital adequecy ratio, risk, quality management

Abstract

This study is aimed to find out the influence of Leader-Member Exchange and Empowerment to Performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as intervening variable. The population is all employees of District Health Office in Batang Regency, Central Java. The sample131employees was taken as respondents. The questionnaire was measured using Likert scale with seven options of answer. Validity and reliability test were conducted to test the instrument. While the test model used was determination coefficient and F test ( goodnes of Fit ) . Hypothesis test was done using regression analysis. Based on the result of the study, it can be summarized as: ( 1 ) Leader-Member Exchange does not influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior, ( 2 ) Empowerment positively significantly influences Organizational Citizenship Behavior, ( 3 ) LeaderMember Exchange does not influence Performance, ( 4 ) Empowerment positively significantly influences Performance, ( 5 ) Organizational Citizenship Behavior positively significantly influences Performance, ( 6 ) Organizational Citizenship Behavior does not mediate the influence of Leader-Member Exchange to Performance, ( 7 ) Organizational Citizenship Behavior mediates the influence of Empowerment to Performance.Keywords: leader-member exchange, empowerment, organizational citizenship behavior and performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the influence of working stress and personality toward theteachers' performance in Junior High School Pangudi Luhur Semarang, Salatiga,and Ambarawa with organization of culture as a moderation variable. The population of this study used 118 teachers. Based on the result of the study can be concluded as follow: personality has influence toward teachers' performance, working stress has no influence toward teacher's performance, organization of culture has influence toward teachers' performance, organization of culture moderate the influence of working stress toward teachers' performance, and organization of culture moderate the influence of personality toward teachers' performance. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of personality and Quality Of Work Life on the performance ofthe mediation organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment ( studies in Central Java provincial secretariat office ) . In a study using census method with a total population of 105 respondents. Test used is a test instrument with testing using multiple regression analysis. Test models using test R2( coefficient of determination ) and F test the hypothesis testing is using the t test. Based on the results of the study can be summarized as follows; 1 ) personality positive and significant effect on OCB, 2 ) QWL positive and significant effect on OCB, 3 ) personality positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, 4 ) QWL positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, 5 ) personality positive and significant effect on performance, 6 ) QWL positive and significant effect on performance. 7 ) OCB positive and significant impact on performance, 8 ) organizational commitment is positive and significant impact on performance, 9 ) OCB does not mediate the effect of personality on performance. 10 ) . OCB does not mediate the effect QWL on OCB. 11 ) . Organizational commitment mediates the influence of personality on performance. 12 ) . Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of the leadership and organizational communicationis mediated the job satisfaction of teachers job performance at SMK N Demak .This research type is a field research using a quantitative approach. The population are 120 teachers at SMK N Semarang. The techniques of data analyze use multiple linier analyze model test; R60 2. test, F test, and the hypothesis test use t test, and mediation effects ( path analyze ) . The results of the test as follows : leadership has positive and significant impact on the organi-zational communication; organi-zational communication has positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction; the leadership doesnt have positive and significant impact on the job performance; the organizational communication has positive and significant effect on the job performance, the job satisfaction has positive and significant effect on the job performance; leadership has positive and significant effect on teachers performance through the mediation of the job satisfaction; the organizational communication has positive and significant influence more effectively direct impact on teachers performance through the mediation of the job satisfaction .Keywords : leadership, organizational communication, job satisfaction, teachers jobperformance.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to know the impact of the Value of Tax Object and thechange of Tax Object to the Domestic Product of Regional Bruto in Central Java Province. Then this research also to know the impact of the Value of Tax Object, the change of Tax Object and Domestic Product of Regional Bruto to the acceptance of Land and Building Tax in Central Java Province. This research take data from 35 District/City on the period 20092013. The data analyzed by panel data regression technique. This research found that the Value of Tax Object has a significant positive effect to the Domestic Product of Regional Bruto and the Change of Tax Object has significant positive effect on Domestic Product of Regional Bruto. the Value of Tax Object, Change of Tax Object and Domestic Product of Regional Bruto partially have a significant positive effect to the acceptance of Land and Building Tax. But Domestic Product of Regional Bruto is not the intervening variable on the relationship between Change of Tax Object and the acceptance of Land and Building Tax.Keywords : the value of tax object, the change of tax object, domestic product of regional bruto and the acceptance of land and building tax

Abstract

This study was to investigate the effect of transformational leadership and motivation to work on teacher performance moderated by the organizational culture. The specific objectives of the study was to examine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance, the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, the influence of organizational culture on teacher performance, organizational culture moderates the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance, and organizational culture moderated the effect of motivation to work on teacher performance. This research is an explanatory research study that proves the influence of transformational leadership and motivation to work on teacher performance organiza-tional culture moderated. This study uses the study population ( census ) amounted to 117 respondents. Data of this research is primary data obtained directly from the source. The method of data analysis using a model of moderation with a quasitype interaction techniques. The results showed that transformational leadership positive and significant impact on teacher performance, motivation positive and significant impact on teacher performance, organizational culture does not influence the performance of teachers, organizational culture does not moderate the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance, and organizational culture moderated the effect of work motivation on teacher performance.Keywords: transformational leadership, motivation, teacher performance, organizational culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of competencyand job characteristic on job satisfaction mediated by the work motivationat Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Pati. This research was conducted with a sensus method and implemented in Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Pati. Technical test data used in this study include validitas test, reliability test, multiple regression analysis, t test, and mediation test to verify and prove the hypothesis of the research. From the analysis and discussion show that competency does not influence on work motivation,job characteristic positively significanly influence on work motivation, competency does not influence on job satisfaction, job characteristicpositively significantly influence on job satisfaction and work motivationpositively significantly influence on job satisfaction. Motivation is not proven as a mediation variable of competence influence on job satisfaction while the influence of characteristic to job satisfaction motivation proved as mediation variableKeywords: Competency, Job characteritics, Motivation and Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, learning organization and organizational commitment to the performance of teachers and the role of organizational commitment mediate the influence of work motivation and learning organization on teacher performance in secondary school teachers in Batang sub-district of Batang district. The population in this study is the teachers of SMP Negeri in Batang sub-district amounted to 256 people. Because the population is relatively large then the sampling with purposive sampling method, that is sampling with certain criteria. In this case researchers used a sample of teachers who have received certification allowance amounting to 188 people. Then from 188 people, who returned the questionnaire answers amounted to 141 people. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The result of hypothesis test showed that (1) work motivation has positive effect to organizational commitment, (2) learning organization has positive effect to organizational commitment, (3) work motivation has no effect on teacher performance, (4) learning organization has positive effect on teacher performance, (5) organizational commitment has a positive effect on teacher performance, (6) organizational commitment mediates the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, (7) the direct effect of organizational commitment on teacher performance is greater than indirect influence through organizational commitment. Abstract

This study entitled Effect of Work Environment and Employee Appreciation Achievement Motivationas Mediating Variables in Semarang PAK Foundation . The problem of this study is how the role of the work environment , rewards and motivation on employee performance . This study aims to examine and analyze the role of work motivation in mediating the effect of the work environment and rewards on employee performance PAK Foundation Semarang . The population in this study are all employees of fixed and variable Foundation PAK Semarang . The study sample totaled 102 respondents were selected using purposive sampling method . Methods of data collection using questionnaires . The data analysis method used is regression analysis . Test mediation using path analysis path. The results of this study indicate that the work environment significantly influence motivation, reward significant effect on work motivation , work environment does not affect the performance , awards significant effect on job performance , motivation to work a significant effect on employees' work performance , work motivation mediates the effect of the work environment on employee performance and work motivation mediates the effect of rewards on employee performanceKeywords : work environment , respect, work motivation , employee job performance
