Abstract

This study expects a teacher has learning methods to better support classroom learning, thus resulting in a productive and active learning. Indonesian textbooks and academic self-expression SMA / MA / SMK / MAK class XII 2nd semester curriculum in 2013, the Ministry of education and culture through learning to write fiction in the novel. This study uses a method that is Pictur Picture and Picture and Picture Learning model is a learning method that uses images and paired or sorted into a logical sequence. Learning is characterized Active, Innovative, Creative, and Fun. Learning Model relies images as a medium of learning. These images become a major factor in the learning process. In pulling teaching of writing fiction in the novel, the author tried to examine the learning method and Pictur Picture.

Abstract

TThe aim of this study is to examine T the use of Indonesian by foreign speakers in Youtube video content. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with sociolinguistic approach. The data sources from this research are video creators videos on the Youtube.com networking site also known as Youtuber. The data was collected by the method of referring and ably by looking at the video of Youtuber. Youtuber selected based on customer number and audience size on each video. Data were analyzed to find code mixed form, code change, interference and language integration. The results of the study indicate that Indonesian foreign speakers are still influenced by English as well as local languages, such as Sundanese and Javanese. The use of local languages is due to the environmental influence of these Youtubers live. In addition, the emergence of regional language use is also influenced by culture. Another distinctiveness that arises is the use of taboo language by speakers either using a foreign language or regional language in the form of mentions related to sexuality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hal, yaitu, ketika wawancara informal dengan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok pada tanggal 11 Agustus 2014 dan 24 Desember 2014, ada beberapa masalah siswa kurang berminat dalam menulis sebagai Setiap siswa ditugaskan untuk menulis, siswa yang mengeluh, dalam banyak kata-kata siswa dalam pendek korsleting, siswa yang kurang beruntung dalam menulis teks sesuai dengan struktur, karena siswa teks banyak yang tidak mampu merumuskan teks sesuai dengan struktur yang sebenarnya, Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode ini disebut metode kuantitatif untuk data penelitian dalam bentuk angka dan analisis menggunakan statistik. Data dianalisis hasil tes, menguji kinerja menulis biografi teks. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menguji kemampuan siswa untuk menulis biografi teks berdasarkan orientasi kualifikasi struktur lebih cukup (LDC) daripada dengan rata-rata 72,58. Kemampuan siswa untuk menulis biografi teks berdasarkan struktur peristiwa / masalah yang kualifikasi Lebih dari Cukup (LDC) dengan rata-rata 67,74. Kemampuan siswa untuk menulis biografi teks sesuai dengan struktur kualifikasi reorientasi adalah Cukup (C) dengan rata-rata 62,09. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dijelaskan pada Bab IV, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semester pertama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 dalam menulis teks biografi didasarkan pada struktur teks mampu menulis biografi teks kualifikasi Lebih dari Cukup (LDC) dengan nilai rata -rata 69,57.

Abstract

Indonesian language is a must subject that all of the university student should be taken in term of their final task, which is scientific work, named skripsi. The lecturer of Indonesian language has concern in term of the lack of written ability that the university students nowadays have. The researcher’s effort in the affectivity of Indonesian language learning by using student active learning method, which is the emphasize of student activity in the classroom. This method requires student to interact in the learning process. Beside that, student should also have criticism to the problem that might be happen in the classroom’s learning process. The purpose of writing this article is to examine the learning of Indonesian conducted in the Management class in UIN Syarif Hidayatullah by using student active learning. Through the method of student active learning that has been examined by the researcher in the Management classroom A and B in Economic and Business Faculty of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the researcher has the satisfactory result in the Management classroom A, and the unsatisfactory result in the Management classroom B. The average score of mid-semester test of the Management classroom A is 83,14 (A), The average score of mid-semester test of the Management classroom B is 72 (B). The average score of final-semester test of the Management classroom A is 80,4 (A) The average score of final-semester test of the Management classroom B is 78,43 (B). The average score of formative and daily tasks of the Management classroom A is 82 (A), and the average score of formative and daily tasks of the Management classroom B is 77,1 (B).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan diskriminasi gender dalam novel Isinga karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara teknik kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah novel Isinga karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany. Metode yang digunakan adalah content analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan hal-hal berikut. Pertama, menunjukkan adanya diskriminasi gender yang mencakup berbagai hal, baik fisik maupun seksual. Kedua, karakteristik kaum laki-laki dalam novel Isinga karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze what the shape of morality value, what the causal factor of morality value, and what the impact of of morality value described in Fabulous Udin film. This study is qualitative study. The technique of data collection is watching and noting. The technique of data validation is increasing perseverance, applying triangulation, and discussing with experts. The technique of data analysis is Miles and Huberman model. The result of this study is: 1) the shape of morality value described in Fabulous Udin film is give the one motivation, trying to keep a friendship, having a simple way of life or positive, and demulcenting people’s mind load;  2) the causal factor of morality value described in Fabulous Udin film is: a) it’s necessary to assure people to act good thing; b) it’s needed to be a sensitive, stiff, and calm person; c) every single action has their own consequence; d) human is a social creature; and 3) the impact of of morality value described in Fabulous Udin film is a) the society well-understand the meaning and purpose of careness and help; b) the society is more care about people’s problem; and c)the society is wiser to take a decision.

Abstract

Background of this research was student do not pay attention to politeness anymore. Each of them just showed their emotions rather than etiquette in language. Moreover, the main key of etiquette is can communicate properly to the hearer and behave politely while discussion is going on. Interruption is permitted in discussion if students are aware of etiquette behavior. Purpose of this research was: (1) to describe the form of polite and impolite utterance in discussion activity based on student politeness principal active years 2016, 3 – years diploma of Solok Nursing Program Study Health Ministry Padang, and (2) to describe the politeness and impoliteness language sign. Type of this research was qualitative research by using descriptive method. There was no change in data of this research to make any symptoms or any certain aspect appear. Techniques of collecting data were: (1) observation and recording, and (2) field record. Data analyzing was conducted by using observation, recording and interview techniques. This stage would show the result of realization in politeness of language and also the deviation form of maxim politeness. There were 15 cooperative principles by Leech, 6 utterances were categorized as tact maxim, 4 utterances were categorized as generosity maxim, 3 utterances were categorized as approbation maxim, and 2 utterances were categorized as agreement maxim.

Abstract

The reserch has aim to describe the result of empiric test of authentic assessment model in speaking competence. The method used in the research was the Research and Development method, i.e. a research method which used to produce a certain product, and examine the effectivity of the product. The research was belonging to the step of model examining. The model examining was conducted by experimenting the authentic assessment model of the speaking competence. The examination were conducted by testing the receiption view of the model developed through the trying out of the apply of assessment model and finding out the properity and its receiption through the statements exploration of the respondents and the expert which act as the lecturer of the speaking competence subject. The respondents or informants statement were acquired by comparing the preview assessment model and the assessment model proposed. Based on the result of the model testing, it can be concluded that by using the assessment rubric, the speaking competence of the students can be known through the various components of the speaking competence in a detail. The difference of the assessment between one jury to other represented that the scores were not too significant different. It means that the perception of the two juries toward the components material were almost equivalent. The condition showed that the objectivity of the assessment was in a high level.

Abstract

Tindak tutur ekspresif adalah tindak tutur yang dimaksudkan penuturnya agar ujarannya diartikan sebagai evaluasi tentang hal yang disebutkan di dalam tuturan itu. Tuturan-tuturan memuji, mengucapkan terima kasih, mengkritik, mengeluh, menyalahkan, mengucapkan selamat, menyanjung, termasuk ke dalam jenis tindak tutur ekspresif. Tuturan tersebut dapat diekspresikan melalui media lisan dan media tulis. Ada juga yang berupa iklan seperti yang tertulis pada alat-alat transportasi di antaranya adalah pada bak truk.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the cohesion aspect anaphora and katafora the Kompas newspaper editorials. The method used in this study is qualitative content analysis with technical analysis is a method used to examine in greater depth discourse. The results showed that of the 12 editorial discourse data showed as many as 164 pairs of sentences. Research data of 164 couples found 67 sentences have cohesion anaphora or as much as 40,48% and only 14 pairs sentence with katafora cohesion or 8,54%. Aspects of cohesion anaphora is used predominantly in building cohesion sentence. From the use of markers, can be show that demonstrative pronouns as much as 54,32% more often appear in a sentence with cohesion. It indicates that the demonstrative pronoun marker has an important role in forming the sentence cohesion.
