Abstract

This study explains the direct and indirect effects of kyai leadership quality on the quality of pesantren education seen from teacher and kyai perspective as measured through leadership, pesantren culture and teacher work motivation. This research is a quantitative research using survey method and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique. The research subjects were 32 pesantren in Banten Province and with 192 respondents consisting of 32 kyai and 160 teachers. The study found that the leadership quality of kyai had only a direct effect on pesantren culture and teacher work motivation, but did not have a direct effect on the quality of pesantren education. The quality of kyai leadership has an indirect effect on the quality of pesantren education through pesantren culture and teacher work motivation. This research is in line with the leadership theory of paternalistic-free rein leadership and charismatic-traditional-rational, which leads to the quality of kyai leadership has no direct effect on the quality of pesantren education in Banten Province.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan keaktifan siswa kelas XI Jasa Boga 3 SMK Negeri 1 Tegal tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian menggunakan dua siklus dengan metode pengambilan data menggunakan tes, angket dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa meningkat dari 6,11% menjadi 86,11% atau kenaikannya sebesar 80%. Keaktifan siswa naik dari 30% menjadi 80,56% atau kenaikannya sebesar 50,56%.

Abstract

Teknolgi Informasi yang menjadi tranding topik saat ini menjadi sebuah keharusan seluruh komponen masyarakat memanfaatkannya. Seluruh bidang berusaha meningkatkan eksistensi, managerial, administrasi, pemasraan dan brandingnya melalui optimalisasi teknologi informasi. Perkembangan saat ini masyarakat cenderung menggunakan teknlogi multimedia dalam upaya memunjang pekerjaanya. Perkembangan teknologi Informasi sebagai bagian dari dunia pendidikan merupakan angina segar bagi guru dalam proses pengembangan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia juga merupakan alternatif yang sangat tepat dalam proses memaksimalkan kualitas pendidikan khususnya pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Melalui pengembangan multimedia Indonesian culture dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Macromedia Flash 8 ini diharakan mampu menambah proses pembentukan karakter siswa sekolah dasar dengan lebih mengenal secara audio visual kebudayaan yang ada di Negara tercinta Indonesia yang sast ini anak-anak kita mengalami kemerosotan dalam hal penghayatan nilai-nilai budaya Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) the difference between students who take internet-based learning group investigation with students who take the group investigation learning library based on improving student learning outcomes; (2) the difference between students who take internet-based learning group investigation with students following study group investigation based library of digital literacy to increase the ability of students.This research is a quasi experiment with non equivalent control group design. The variables in this study included the independent variable in the form of model of learning and investigation group namely internet-based moderator variable and the dependent variable of the ability of digital literacy of students. The population in this study were junior high school students KHM. Nur Surabaya, with a sample of students in grade 8 -A and 8 - C. The instrument used is a matter of pretest and posttest material capabilities IPS, observations, and questionnaires digital literacy abilities of students. Data were analyzed using ANOVA test and test two paths independent sample t - test (with significance level of 5 %). The results showed that: (1) Increasing the learning outcomes of students who received internet-based learning group investigation is higher than the students obtain a library-based learning group investigation. (2) Increasing the capability of digital literacy of students who received internet-based learning group investigation is higher than the students obtain a library-based learning group investigation

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out how effective is using sharing experience model with comic media on the results of science learning of grade V students at SDN 1 Geneng District Jepon Blora regency for academic year 2016/2017. The form of this research is quantitative research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study was conducted during two meetings, where each meeting was held for 70 minutes. Data collection techniques in this study using tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis technique consists of two stages. The first stage is the normality test and the second stage is the normality test and hypothesis test consisting of t test and test mastery learning. The result of the research shows that the use of communication experience-assisted model sharing model is effective on science learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN 1 Geneng District Jepon Blora regency for academic year 2016/2017. Keywords : experience sharing model, comic, science learning outcomes .

Abstract

Education obtained through the institution of one school. Education conducted in the learning process in the classroom. The success of the learning process can be seen on the achievement of learning objectives that have been set from the learning process in schools such as the implementation of learning memalui subjects namely mathematics. Based on interviews and observations stated that in the implementation process of learning math teachers still use conventional methods such as lectures, discussions, and assignments. Teachers are not using an innovative learning models and media pembelaajaran are less varied. Students less enthusiasm and less active in the following study. Students assume that math is a subject yag difficult. These circumstances make the learning outcomes in mathematics is low. Researchers applying the learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) media-assisted wheel of fortune in the learning process. The purpose of this study to determine the students can pass the study after obtaining the model and the media as well as knowing the difference between the learning outcomes using conventional methods and the learning model NHT assisted medai wheel of fortune. This study uses data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, documentation and testing. Data analysis technique used is normality test, homogeneity test, test complete learn and T-test.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of organizational culture, job stress, and job satisfaction toward organizational commitment of teacher in XYZ School. This research uses a quantitative approach with path analysis as a method to find the effect among variables. The subjects of this research are 37 teachers at XYZ School. As for the analysis of the data, SmartPLS 3.0 is used for data processing and hypothesis testing. The result of this research showed that: (1) Organizational culture has positive influence on job satisfaction, (2) job stress has negative influence on job satisfaction, and (3) Organizational culture has positive influence on organizational commitment, (2) job stress has negative influence on organizational commitment, and (3) job satisfaction has positive influence on organizational commitment.

Abstract

Prestasi belajar siswa merupakan tingkat keberhasilan siswa menguasai materi peelajaran setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan Studi Pendahuluan yang dilakukan di salah satu sekolah di Kab. Kuningan menunjukkan rata-rata nilai UAS Semester Ganjil 2015/2016 sebesar 56. Model Learning cycle 5E dipandang sebagai salah satu alternatif solusi yang memiliki tahapan-tahapan yang dapat membantu siswa untuk meningkatakan prestasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa sebagai efek diterapkannya model Learning Cycle 5E. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa-siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP di Kab. Kuningan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) prestasi belajar siswa secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai <g> 0,43 yang termasuk kategori sedang. 2) prestasi belajar siswa pada setiap aspek kognitif mengalami peningkatan masing-masing sebesar 0,64 untuk aspek C1, 0,51 untuk aspek C2, dan 0,34 untuk aspek C3, yang semuanya berada pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value Planting of strong character and care through social skills program in SMA Al Hikmah Surabaya. The research was conducted on students who take the program of social skills class XI in the school year 2014-2015 in the village Parerejo, Purwodadi, Pasuruan. Implementation of the research in May-June, 2015.This study used a qualitative method with a grounded theory approach. Research using instruments: (1) direct observation (2) field notes (3) interviews and (6) documentation. This study identified two themes in his research consisted of planting the value of strong character through a social skills program, and implantation on the character concerned with social skills program. Two themes are based on research goals predetermined and interconnected to form a theory of value investment of strong character and care. In this study, students follow a program of activities that instill values of toughness and concern to the students through several activities, namely home stay program residents, social service and leadership. From the research there is a positive response from the students to the values of strong character, especially in terms of attitude: to make an effort, enthusiasm, patience, perseverance, and a high work ethic. Similarly, there is a positive response to the values of the characters to care, especially in terms of attitude: helpful, respectful and civil, discipline, empathy, and unpretentious.

Abstract

This study aimed is to determine the effect of problem based learning model of the competence of knowledge and critical thinking skills of students about the conflict between the villages. This study  uses experimental research design.  The techniques of pretest-posttest randomized  control  design is used in this study. The  population was the whole of the class XI at Madrasah Aliyah BPD (board of villages organizer )  Iha  in Maluku Province which consists of three classes. While the  sample consisted of two classes, namely XI 2 as an experimental class that implements the model problem based learning and XI 3 as the control class that implements direct instructional model. The t-test  is used to analize the data .  The results showed that the descriptive analysis model of problem based learning effect to enhance the competence of knowledge and critical thinking skills of students based on several things, namely: (1) the  students activity is categorized  actif, (2) completeness of the learning outcomes achieved. This is indicated by sig 0,000 ≤ 0.05 and the t calculated  (5.637) ≥ t table (1.688). This means that there are differences in the average post-test students on the model of problem based learning is better than direct learning model in terms of improving the knowledge and competence of critical thinking skills.
