Abstract

Most Indonesian learners are bilingual or even polyglot. Not only speaking their mother tongue (which is mostly regional language like Javanese or Sundanese), they are also exposed to foreign languages like Arabic, English and French. However, it does not necessarily means that learning foreign languages is easy for them. According to Chomsky, human beings are equipped with Language Acquisition Device which enables them to acquire any language they are exposed to. It is assumed that the more we are exposed to other languages, the easier it is for us to learn foreign languages. Communicative Approach is used in the learning process at Program Studi Sastra Perancis Universitas Negeri Semarang. This approach focuses on 4 competencies namely: Speaking (La production orale), Writing (La production ecrite), Listening Comprehension (La compréhension orale) and Reading Comprehension (La comprehension écrite). Since Grammar Course has been abolished from the curriculum for a couple of years, it is in these 4 courses of competence that its teaching is integrated into. Unfortunately, most students are not quite competent in these four courses and also weak in Grammar. It is expected that Language Awareness concept help solve this problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengembangkan asesmen alternatif pada praktikum kimia dasar II melalui chemistry fair project berbasis konservasi dengan memanfaatkan daily chemical(2) Mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Development Research) Model pengembangan yang diterapkan Dick dan Carey (1985). Subjek uji coba terbatas maupun subjek uji coba lapangan adalah dosen dan mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan IPA UNNES. Sampel ditentukan secara purposive, yaitu dosen pengampu dan mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Praktikum Kimia Dasar II. Data yang diperoleh dari uji coba ini adalah: (1) masukan dari pakar, untuk menentukan validitas isi dan konstruk dari fitur asesmen; (2) masukan dari sampel uji coba terbatas, untuk menentukan kepraktisan petunjuk chemistry fair project (CFP) berbasis konservasi dengan memanfaatkan daily chemical ; Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket keterbacaan petunjuk pembuatan chemistry fair project (CFP) berbasis konservasi dengan memanfaatkan daily chemical, pedoman penskoran. (3) data hasil belajar siswa untuk mengetahui efektivitas asesmen. Masukan dari pakar angket mahasiswa, dan nilai chemistry fair project (CFP) sampel ujicoba terbatas dianalisis secara kualitatif, dan kuantitatif. Asesmen alternative Praktikum Kimia Dasar II yang dikembangkan dikatakan berhasil baik apabila asesmen yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are describing the application of true or false method in Civics Education learning about the System of Indonesia Republic Government in Class of VI, Beganjing Public Elementary School, Japah, Blora and analyzing the application of true or false method in Civics Education learning about the System of Indonesia Republic Government to the students’ learning result in Class of VI, Beganjing Public Elementary School, Japah, Blora. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR). The results of this research are: 1) the application of true or false method in Civics Education learning about the System of Indonesia Republic Government is using learning group, so the students are active and cooperative in learning, 2)the application of true or false method in Civics Education learning about the System of Indonesia Republic Government is analyzing the statement, so the subject mastering is getting stronger, 3) the application of true or false method in Civics Education learning about the System of Indonesia Republic Government is increasing the students’ learning result according to the increasing of average point and completeness in daily examination.

Abstract

The purpose of this research mendeskripsi the model needs insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik and designing the prototype insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik .The methodology used in this research is research and development .The results of research while presented by , concluded the following .The level of the needs of the model discourse leads on aspects of student motivation , the aspect of matter or the contents of books , presentation of aspects , the aspect of the materials and keterbacaan , and the aspect of grafika .The prototype design insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik referring to the seven pillars of the conservation i.e. the pillars of biodiversity , the pillars of clean energy, a pillar of green building and internal transport , nirkertas policy pillar , the pillars of waste management, the pillars of ethics art and culture , the pillars of conservation volunteers.

Abstract

Peningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan memperbaiki sikap belajar mahasiswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konstruktivis berbasis nilai-nilai karakter konservasi berbantuan E-learningi adalah fokus dalam penelitian ini, sebab pembelajaran E-learning dapat menyentuh aspek aktivitas dan kreativitas mahasiswa. Pengembangan yang dipilih adalah pengembangan dengan model 4D yang diadaptasi menjadi 4P, yaitu pendefinisian (analisis awal-akhir, analisis peserta didik, analisis materi, analisis tugas, dan merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran khusus), perancangan (penyusunan kriteria tes, pemilihan media, pemilihan format, dan desain awal), pengembangan (validasi ahli dan uji coba), dan penyebaran. Adapun perangkat yang dikembangkan adalah Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) dan Rancangan Tatap Muka (RTM), yang dilengkapi dengan Lembar Diskusi dan E-learning. Adapun rata-rata prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen adalah 89,38 yang melebihi batas minimal nilai B, sehingga ratarata prestasi belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol yang rata-rata prestasi belajarnya adalah 80,50. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran efektif.

Abstract

Assalamah Playgroup-Kindergarten as one of the early childhood institution seeks to develop innovative learning models by using interactive learning cd developed by teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the media developed by teachers and to know how big the effectiveness of instructional media used in learning activities.The method used in this research is to use an experimental method that is pretest-posttest control group design that compares the learning achievement of children before and after treated learning by using power point learning cd and compared between the experimental group and the control group.Results from this study are media generated was declared invalid. It is based on data obtained from experts and materialvalidator. In addition to a valid media used in learning with religious themes on Assalamah Playgroup-Kindergartenin Ungaran also effective in the learning activities, it can be seen from the rise in learning outcomes among students, especially in kindergarten B.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model history room berbasis media visual bertema sejarah lokal di Kabupaten dan Kota Semarang. Secara khusus, tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut (1) Mengembangkan pengembangan prototype model history room berbasis media visual bertema sejarah lokal pembelajaran sejarah; (2) prototype model dikembangkan menjadi model history room berbasis media visual bertema sejarah lokal pada pembelajaran sejarah; (3) Menguji efektivitas model history room berbasis media visual bertema sejarah lokal diterapkan dalam praksis pembelajaran. Luaran yang akan dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Prototype model history room berbasis media visual bertema sejarah lokal; (2) Model history room berbasis media visual bertema sejarah lokal; (3) Publikasi ilmiah terkait hasil penelitian dalam seminar dan jurnal terakreditasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan “Penelitian Pengembangan” (Research and Development). Dalam penelitian ini Research and Development dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan model history room berbasis media visual bertema sejarah lokal. Pengembangan ruang sejarah merupakan satu hal yang dibutuhkan oleh guru sejarah. Ruang sejarah memberikan kesempatan bagi guru untuk memanfaatkan secara optimal media-media visual untuk pembelajaran sejarah. Ruang sejarah dapat digunakan untuk menunjang keberhasilan pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013. Melalui ruang sejarah pendekatan saintifik dalam pelajaran sejarah menjadi lebih mudah diimplementasikan. Pemanfaatan ruang sejarah memiliki beberapa manfaat. Pertama, ruang sejarah mampu menyediakan “rumah” bagi guru sejarah. Kedua, keberadaan ruang sejarah mampu membangun dam meemlihara atmosfer pembelajaran yang efektif. Ketiga, ruang sejarah mampu membuat pembelajaran sejarah lebih efektif. Keempat, ruang sejarah dapat menghemat waktu pembelajaran karena media dalam ruang sejarah telah tersedia dan dapat dimanfaatkan secara segera.

Abstract

The research problem is the minimum ability of social studies teachers to develop the indicators of competencies and assessment instruments achievement. This study aims to improve the ability of social studies teachers to develop the indicators of achievement of competencies and assessment instruments through workshops and individual meetings.Determining the teachers’ability to develop the competencies achievement indicators,indicator scorecards were used which contains 8 aspects, whereas to determine the ability to develop assessment study instruments,the card consists of three aspects which contains 11sub aspectswere used.Workshops with individual meetings were taken to improve the teachers’ability. Workshop selected as an activity that integrates theory and practice as well as to meet the characteristics of adult learning, while the individual meeting were used to solve the problem of an individual nature and eliminate the psychological barriers of teachers who feel embarrassed to revealed problems in the workshop forum.Before the action was carried out, the number of teachers who are able to develop competence achievement indicator is 0%, after cycle 1 = 13.33% and after cycle 2 = 100%. Teachers whowere able to compile an assessment instrument before action is taken, is 6.67%, after the first cycle=60%, after 2 cycles to 100%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap bagaimana pemanfaatan limbah dan manajemen limbah home industri Konveksi Pengusaha Muslim sebagai upaya menambah pendapatan keluarga di desa Tingkir Lor kecamatan Tingkir Kota Salatiga. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan diskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi , wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah 6 pengusaha home industri konveksi. Teknik keabsahan data dengan menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan teori. Teknik analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi dan penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang di dapat dari penelitian ini adalah, tidak ada limbah home indutri yang tidak bisa dimanfaatkan. Baik limbah berupa kain, benang, plastik, dan kardus. Sampai saat ini baru limbah kain dan benang yang sudah bisa dimanfaatkan dengan maksimal, untuk limbah plastik dan kardus belum mampu dimanfaatkan secara maksimal mengingat kurangnya tenaga yang mempunyai keahlian dibidang tersebut. Sehingga limbah plastik dan kardus hanya dijual kepada pengepul. Limbah kain catton baik jenis kain kaos atau kain baju, untuk jenis kain pe dan polister masih kurang. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah sulitnya mencari tenaga kerja yang mau menanganani limbah, menjamurnya industri di kawasan Salatiga dan sekitranya terutama garment menyebabkan pengusaha home industri di Salatiga mengalami kesulitan, pekerja muda lebih memilih kerja di perusahaan dibanding di home industri. Saran sebaiknya pemerintah terkait untuk dapat memberi pengaruh kepada masyarakat melalui motivasi dan ketrampilan khusus yang berhubungan dengan home industri konveksi sehingga pengusaha home industri bisa terpecahkan.

Abstract

Social science subjects need to be constructed to shape the life of a democratic citizen. Organizing the material needed to form a controversy very intelligent character and critical learners. Organizing materials studied so interesting controversy will be able to develop a model that is capable of learning controversy develops the creativity of learners. The problems of this study are: (1) Which materials in IPS is controversial in the Junior High School?, (2) how teachers prepare and implement instructional materials IPS on the controversy?, and (3) how the teacher needs to be learning model on the IPS material controversy?.This study uses a design research and development (R & D), proceeded by a qualitative approach to determine the need for learning model IPS on the matter of controversy. Data collected through observation and interviews, and data analysis techniques used qualitative analysis.Based on the results of the study concluded that the learning material in the field of IPS controversy has not constructed well by the teacher. Teachers have not done the analysis of the material by separating the material which can be developed to foster critical thinking of students because it contains materials that controversy. Thus, the learning was done using a learning model that is not based matteri, because equating the controversy materials with other materials. This happens because the educational background of teachers who monodisiplin and analysis of materials that do not involve groups of teachers in the MGMP forum as well as a lack of understanding of the controversy in the learning material IPS. Based on the conclusions suggested: (1) teachers need to do the analysis of learning materials in MGMP so that the development of learning materials are made into more depth, and (2) there needs to be an understanding of the learning model that can be used by teachers to develop the material controversy in social studies.
