Abstract

This paper aimed to establish the development of textbooks written argumentation based reasoning pattern argumentaif. Through R & D study design, this study produced findings that textbooks written arguments used in the current school textbooks covering publications Pusbuk (BSE), a textbook published by the private sector, and textbooks terbita MGMP. The entire book has a structure of the same material, ie understanding (concept), characteristic / criteria, and the steps are written arguments like writing in general, (2) the development of text books written arguments through support ICT based argumentative reasoning patterns in high school students are prepared based on the principle of development, the provisions of the development, and the steps / procedure development. The principle of development used is based on the principle of coherence, relevance, consistency, and adequacy. The provision of development used whether they reference the development, content, organization of material, material development, presentation, and evaluation. In the meantime, the steps in preparing to write argumentative texts based argumentative reasoning patterns include analyzing SK and KD, determine indicators of achievement, identify basic theories used, compiling textbooks, textbook editing, and verification of eligibility, and (3) The development of textbooks written arguments based argumentative reasoning patterns assessed both by teachers and students of high school and fit for use in learning at school.

Abstract

Background of the research is experience in teaching IPBA (Science of Earth and Space) for some years. It shows that most of students’ final test results are not satisfied. It is caused by some factors, such as low student’s motivation, less learning source, featureless and monotonous teaching method (lecturercentred). For solving the problem, discussion is applied in teaching with the teaching material from related virtual research. The objectives are (1) giving experiences to students for doing research by using virtual research, (2) giving ability for writing research result in the form of paper ksmethod are (1) introduction, (2) determining research topic for each group, (3) doing research, (4) discussion, (5) evaluation. The research result shows that students’ understanding about research material presentation is good. It is showed in discussion, questions in discussion is difficult and must be answered by combining one concept and other concepts. The change of giving questions and responds is used well by participants. In every discussion material there are about 12 students give high quality questions and responds. The questions and responds can be answered well by group that presents material.

Abstract

The aim of this research are for descipting many correlation of variebl which can be contributed to policy of the head master or regional leader of educatonal departemen, to explore the resistence of teacher while they implemented the action research project in the class, to expand the moodel of statistic that can contructed. The population in this research are the teacher in study program of vocational in SMKN Teknologi at Semarang City, there are 240 personals. The sample are the teacher in adaptive program, there are 140 personals. With mehod of purposive random sampling, can be took 60 personals. He data analysis by SPSS program. The research finding explained that correlation between leadership and culture organitation 0,86; the corelation of leadership and motivation for reasearh 0,87; the corelation between leadership and motivation for research to implementation of CAR is 0.89; the corelation between supervision and motivation for research to implementation of CAR is 0.77; The resarcher‟s sugestion is that leadership and culture organitation is must be strong built for supporting the increasing of teacher competency in research, the supervisor program must be a strong direction and best planning. The motivation for research can be improved by the best leadership and supervision give away for implementation of CAR strategy. Keywords: Profesional teacher, CAR, Vocational School

Abstract

Sports game is one of game and sport material that aims to develop learners’ motor coordination through team play activities. Not all schools teach all the materials in big ball games. Based on the explanation above, it is necessary to develop a great ball game that can develop motor coordination skills of learners. Development procedures used; 1) analyzing the products that will be developed, 2) develop initial product, 3) validation experts, 4) field trial, 5) revision of the product, and the results of product development. Instruments used; 1) the data of pulse capture, (2) the questionnaire related to the learner psychomotor responses, cognitive, and affective (3) observation of the effectiveness of the basic techniques used in the product. Results of this study that have been found; (1) TEAMS SPORT products games, (2) the effectiveness of game products to increase physical activities of students, (3) the TEAMS SPORT game can overcome the limitations of the instructional time allocation, (4) the complexity of motor coordination skill. The conclusion are the use of SPORT TEAMS game product in learning gives the effect to the physical intensity, can cope with limited facilities and infrastructure, can overcome the limitations of instructional time allocation, and provide an experience of complex motor coordination. Suggestions for Sports teachers in high school to use this game at school, in learning a great ball game high school class X.

Abstract

Learning achievements of X TKR1 SMK Negeri Semarang 7 is low, especially on science lesson with an average value of the school year repetition scieence lesson 2010/2011 is 60 (before remidial) with the percentage of students who graduated only 44% percent when passing grade of science lesson is 75. This is certainly a concern to researchers as a science teacher because SMK Negeri 7 Semarang having a good reputation well known in Central Java. This is because the characteristics of a class X TKR1 like to play, and the attitude of solidarity of the group must be upheld, even for things that are less good. It certainly is disturbing the learning process. In an effort to overcome these problems a teacher as a researcher, trying to apply the methods of the game in groups, with the hope that the game will make learning a fun atmosphere, as claimed by Taufan Surana (2008:1) that a pleasant atmosphere is a necessary prerequisite to children love to learn. The purpose of this study were (a) To improve science learning outcomes in class X TKR 1 (b) To determine a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. Research subject is X TKR1 SMK N 7 Semarang, which is located in Lima Jl.Simpang Semarang. Research will be conducted in May to June. The analysis performed is descriptive analysis, the credibility test using the method of triangulation of data sources. The results of application of joyful learning model using games guess my word is as follows: (a) a large increase in the average classical is 10.4 (Classical 83.4 average at cycle 1 to 93.9), (b) a large increase in the number of students who qualify for passing gradeis 20% from 77% in cycle 1 to 97% in cycle 2. Teachers are expected to be able to apply the learning model “Joyful learning” in schools so that learning becomes more enjoyable. The school should be supported by improving facilities and pre facilities, in order to create a fun learning atmosphere for students (Joyful Learning).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the response of students to the social studies lesson on the last clock marked with students listening to teacher explanations, dare to answer questions, actively working on the task, courage to ask, and dare to express an opinion. Steps to be taken is the action planning and execution. Planning carried out by identifying the various problems that arise in every process pembelajaranr, while the action taken was to conduct recreational learning, active, challenging, effective, and contextual (PRAMEK). Implementation PRAMEK to increase students' responses did not walk easily. The cause is still difficult to translate PRAMEK teachers in learning in the classroom, not fully ihlas make changes learning, still think the class is indeed different from other classes, and still trying to find a formula that is more fitting in implementing the learning. Learning from previous experience of the master teacher PRAMEK. In implementing the teacher learning the more comfortable carrying out learning so that students' responses have increased in accordance with the purpose of research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research mendeskripsi the model needs insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik and designing the prototype insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik .The methodology used in this research is research and development .The results of research while presented by , concluded the following .The level of the needs of the model discourse leads on aspects of student motivation , the aspect of matter or the contents of books , presentation of aspects , the aspect of the materials and keterbacaan , and the aspect of grafika .The prototype design insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik referring to the seven pillars of the conservation i.e. the pillars of biodiversity , the pillars of clean energy, a pillar of green building and internal transport , nirkertas policy pillar , the pillars of waste management, the pillars of ethics art and culture , the pillars of conservation volunteers.

Abstract

Volleyball subject is both theory and practice subject. In accordance with the standards of competence and basic competence to be achieved, this course, beside providing the theory of playing volleyball game, also consist of playing the game in the field. Based on the characteristics of the course it is necessary to assess both theory and practice aspect. Performance assessment is an alternative assessment that covers all aspects of student ability. Research was carried out by implementing evaluation tools to asses learning outcomes through early field trials and the second field trials. In addition, students‟ perceptions are collected through the questionnaire and teacher‟s perception through interview. Learning outcomes in both early and later field trials showed good results. There are 98% of students agreed with the application of the evaluation system. Lecturer stated that it‟s a practical system. Keywords: Performance assessment; evaluation tools; volleyball

Abstract

Vocational education curriculum 2013 that applied nationally in the academic year 2014/2015 mandated that religious subject added character educational in which contactwith aspects of soft skills. This needs to be addressed by LPTK as producer vocational teacher candidate, so that future graduates are able to fulfill the mandate of the curriculum. Curriculum vocational teacher candidates who applied seems also still focused on providing hard skills competencies, so that graduates do not have adequate soft skills competence. On the other hand in the world of work has been going on trend shift in terms of hard skills to soft skills.Research and development is designed to go through stages and multiyear to produce soft skills development strategy for prospective teachers of vocational school. Development strategy departs from theoretical studies and mapping needs soft skills aspects of relevant research, analysis and LPTK vocational curriculum, soft skills needs and job requirements of future trends, soft skills required by vocational teachers, teaching soft skills already there, done to map the needs and later for further development until the hypothetical model generated Late models. Subjects were LPTK lecturers, teachers of vocational productive industrials. Data were obtained by observation and interviews, review of documents that the results were analyzed with descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. There are several aspects of the soft skills required candidates vocational school teachers, among others: (1) self-discipline, (2) responsibility, (3) the spirit of the work, (4) problem solving, (5) collaboration, (6) the ability of communication, (7) personality, (8) social attitudes, (9) critical thinking, (10) creative thinking and innovative, (11) confidence and (12) self-motivation. Soft skills development strategy skills prospective teachers through extra-curricular with gradual pattern through four stages, namely: (1) the development of talent themselves, (2) environmental adaptation, (3) involvement in the organization and (4) development of social life and soul of educational. There needs to be a policy of the leaders of institutions to incorporate soft skills as part of the curriculum and study for the development of the model and test to kwoning the effectiveness of the model.

Abstract

Lecturers have a responsibilityto make their learning process positive and productive. Just likeother learnings, visual art learning also needs innovative learning methods. But this statement is not in line with the reality. In general the visual art learning still describes authoritative educational practices and lecturer-centered-learning.The lack ofinteractive communication between faculty and students and learning resources, students tend to appreciate, passive and accept just lectures given by lecturer. At the time of learning student appreciation rate still low. It is seen when students are faced with works that have meaning and value of tall. Student difficulties in understanding, appreciate andevaluate to performent art. Oflearning activities the impact of low competencestudentsin the art appreciates. To improvethe learning activities researchers applied the method of group investigation. Problems in the reseach such as what the application of group method of investigation can increase motivation, responbilitas, and the standards of competence students. The purpose of research are to describe the application of group method of investigation can increase motivation, responbilitas, and the standards of competence students. The research designusing theprocedurePTK that implemented in two cycle, each cycle consist of planing, acting, and reflection. Research subject are lectures and strudents even semester 2012 consisting of 8 girls and 7 boys. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, document and field record. Data analysis using descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study shows that there is improvement on students’ motivation, motivation, responbilitas, andthe standards of competence students. Improve Students Competence occurs ineachindicator, responbilitas 5 indicator, and competence students on appreciatethework of art 5 indicator. Conclusionsof the researchis that The Investigation Group Method can Improvestudents motivation, responbilitas, andthe standards of competencein appreciating fowadrs’ visual art creation. Sugestions of the research are that (1). Lecturers should apply this method to improve students’ motivation, (2). Students shouldndo visual arts appreciation to improve cognitive, affective, and psichomotoric competence, (3). Education institution should support any learning method innovation invention to develop the quality of the institution.
