Abstract

The aims of this development are (1) to describe the art of dance training model which have ever given, (2) to describe of training needs of the appreciation of local dance for the teacher of elementary school, (3) to describe first draft of the appreciation of local dance training model for the elementary school teacher, (4) to describe the result of the first design of draft model and set of appreciation training of local dance for the elementary school teacher, (5) to describe the result of expert team evaluation (expert of management, art, and lecture of the art of dance) to the model of training set which is useful for elementary school teacher training; (6) to describe the limited trial result of the implementation of appreciation training model of local dance for elementary school teacher; (7) to describe the appreciation training model of local dance which is developed after getting the trial. The research method is Research and Development (R D). The implementation of model uses single one shot case study design with one group pre-test and post-test. Survey respondents are primary school teachers in Makassar. Data collection interview and questionnaires. Effectiveness of the model is tested through test validation by experts and practitioners, as well as a limited experiment through training. And, the data is analyzed descriptively. The findings of this study are the aspects which affect the needs and success of ASTNDS training implementation. They are: (1) training materials, (2) training programs, (3) the form of training, (4) training instructor, (5) training facilities infrastructure, and (6) CD of dance training. Other findings are generating ASTNDS training model and devices which refers to management functions (2-steps planning; 4-steps implementation, and 2-steps evaluation). Validation and experimental test results show that the model of a hypothetical model of local dance is effective for primary school teachers training. Researcher recommends applying ASTNDS model and training devices in a primary school teacher training because it is proved that it is effective for teacher training on the subject of art, culture and skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was 1) the exploration Application Democ- racy Education in Junior Semarang; 2) What Weakness and Strength Application Democracy Education; 3) How to model Sila Implementation 4 as the locus of Democratic Education in Junior Semarang. The research method research approach and development (research and development). Location of the study will be selected from junior high schools that have implemented Democracy Education in Semarang. This research subject in addition to students, junior high school teacher in the city of Semarang. The results showed that (1) Implementation of democratic education in schools is carried out using a simulated election dominant class president and student council president directly. These conditions resulted in the student will understand that it is democratic. (2) In a democratic learning a lot of teachers who use the method of discussion, the conditions will be created to make students’ perception that the discussion is a method for developing a democratic character. (3) Many students found that dominant, apathetic, normal. Dominant conditions are not controlled by the teacher. (4) The Council is the original form of discussion Indonesia with special characteristics not shared by ordinary discussion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tes kualitas dalam hal validitas, reliabilitas, kompleksitas dan perbedaan kekuatan, dan untuk sampai ke bagian bawah guru bahasa Arab dan masalah tim pembuat tidak melakukan uji analisis item. Penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. teknik pengumpulan data dan dokumentasi dari penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tentang realitas kurikulum dikehendak tuntutan ideal yang sesuai, sehingga memenuhi validitas konten. Tinggi tingkat keandalan tes yaitu 0,76. Bervariasi tingkat kesulitan adalah 66%, terlalu mudah 26% dan tinggi 8%. Setelah membedakan tes yang baik 16%, sedang 46%, kurang 24%, tidak memiliki fitur pembeda 6%, 8% dan negatif. Karena guru atau tim tentang tidak membuat analisis yang tidak semua bahasa Arab guru lulusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, tidak memiliki pengalaman analisis uji, kurangnya saran dari bos yang memotivasi analisis, kurang pemahaman tentang analisa pengujian, dan belum menerima pelatihan di bidang evaluasi dan analisis. Abstract

Abstract. Economic literacy or simply termed "economic literacy" is the ability to identify economic problems, the preparation of alternative solutions by considering the benefits and costs. This study aims to produce LKPD IPS based on comics to increase economic literacy in learners. This development research uses Dick, Carey, and Carey (2009) development models. Product development is piloted through formative evaluation that includes several stages: IPS material expert review, review of design experts and instructional media, one-to-one trials, small group trials, and field trials. The results of the overall evaluation, put this prototype in a very decent category. The test results show that in the field trial there is a difference of mean post test result (83.45) pre test (45.10) with significant level 0.000 0.05. t arithmetic (14.83) t table (1.701). Thus LKPD IPS based on this comic can effectively improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: LKPD, IPS, comics, economic literacy

Abstract

This research aims to obtain data on innovative learning models implemented in science teaching by junior high school teacher, to describe the character development of students in learning science, and to formulate recommendation for innovative learning.The research method used a survey. Area purposive random sampling technique is used to determine the 30 science teachers in the Semarang city Central Java. The subjects were learning device developed by teachers of science. Data were collected by using a list of suitable instruments, assessment formats, questionnaires, and interview guides. Data were analyzed using descriptive-qualitative techniques and evaluative analysis. Results of this research are a) applied the innovative learning of cooperative, problem based learning, problem solving, and inquiry, b) the value of the character that was developed includes honesty, cooperation, respect their opinions, critical thinking, c) the value of learning through teacher developed characters group work, laboratory work, and make a report/portfolio. Conclusion of this research that the teacher has implemented several innovative learning but has not been systematically and effectively less, and the character development of students have done. Based on the results analysis of the research recommended that school administrators need training for principals and superintendents about visionary leadership and innovative learning and training needs for teachers of educational research related to effective implementation of innovative learning and character development as well as it’s measurement.

Abstract

Background of the research is experience in teaching IPBA (Science of Earth and Space) for some years. It shows that most of students’ final test results are not satisfied. It is caused by some factors, such as low student’s motivation, less learning source, featureless and monotonous teaching method (lecturercentred). For solving the problem, discussion is applied in teaching with the teaching material from related virtual research. The objectives are (1) giving experiences to students for doing research by using virtual research, (2) giving ability for writing research result in the form of paper ksmethod are (1) introduction, (2) determining research topic for each group, (3) doing research, (4) discussion, (5) evaluation. The research result shows that students’ understanding about research material presentation is good. It is showed in discussion, questions in discussion is difficult and must be answered by combining one concept and other concepts. The change of giving questions and responds is used well by participants. In every discussion material there are about 12 students give high quality questions and responds. The questions and responds can be answered well by group that presents material.

Abstract

The research finding showsthat development of Science learning based onICT in animalsand plantsadaptation competency can effectivelyincrease the students’ activity, it is shown that students work dominantly using computer as alearning media, teachers usuallyimplement learning based on ICT, it can complete the studentslearning outcomesalso studentsand teachersresponsetowardlearning process based on ICTbelong to good.

Abstract

The Javanese learning activities have many weakness which come from the teachers, students, and learning materials. From the teachers, more than 60% the teachers are not professional because they don‟t graduate from the Javanese Language. They are still less experience in Javanese teaching. From the student, they are not interested in learning Javanese language. They look down the Javanese language. As the impact of this is that the students are not competence. From the learning materials, there is no Javanese curriculum which was arranged based on need analysis. In the syllabus, there are some mistakes, mainly in developing Basic Competence, Indicators, Life skills, Learning experiment, and valuation. The teachers have difficulties in developing the curriculum, choosing  he teaching method, choosing materials, making learning media, and arranging evaluation. Learning Javanese language is not satisfied, because students‟ competence are still under KKM, the students are not interested in learning. The Suggestion in learning Javanese language: Teachers suggest to be held workshop, seminars, the references are available, and learning media are available. The Students suggest that learning Javanese will be interesting if to be given in simple language (familiarly), and learning materials familiarly. Keywords : Javanese language,

Abstract

This study was an experimental research with true experimental design. which aimed at describing the effectiveness of digital storytelling on students’ emotional intelligence. The object of this research was students of third and fourth elementary school. This research conducted in three elementary schools in Tegal regency. The collecting data technique was observation and questionnaire. Hypothesis testing used was t-test. The research instruments were tested by validity and reliability test. It is concluded that digital storytelling is effective as a learning model to improve students’ emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The purposed of this research are: 1) how the implementation of the strategy of character education through learning-based mind mapping with Mindjet Mind Manager, 2) the extent of implementation of the strategy of character education through learning-based mind mapping with Mindjet mind manager in improving students’ understanding of the concept of office management, 3)What values are embedded in the learning based mind mapping with mindjet mind manager. This research is classroom action research. The results showed that: 1) Implementation of character education through learning-based mind mapping with Mindjet mind manager implemented with methods of theory and practice in the learning process, so that students in a creative character, respect other people’s work, honest, confident and brave their ideas and ideas can be formed, 2) learning-based mind mapping with Mindjet mind manager is highly effective in improving students’ understanding of the basic concepts of management offices. It also increases the activity and attention of students during the learning process and the learning ability of lecturer in management,3)character values that are embedded in the learning process is self-reliance, hard work, creativity, honesty, respect other people’s work, critical. Advice related to the results of this study are: 1) At the time of implementing the learning-based mind mapping with Mindjet mind manager should facilities and infrastructure such as the Internet must be available and connected to the well, 2) For optimum learning more, at the beginning of the lecture lecturer should provide examples of using the program prior to the student with coherent phase.
