Abstract

This study aims to produce the process of developing teaching reading materials and produce teaching reading materials with Vark (Visual, Auditory, Read / write, and Kinesthetic) models for class 1 valid and practical educators and students. The development is based on the Plomp model (Preliminary Research, Prototyping Phase and Assessment Stage) which emphasizes the context of needs (educators and students) so that the initial reading skills learning material is produced based on the Vark model. Based on the results of the Kevalitan trial, it can be seen from the validation of content, language, presentation, graphics and lesson plans, overall 93.10% with valid valid categories. Praticality of teaching materials is seen from the educator's response, 98.92% of the students' responses are 96.15% while the effectiveness of Reading is a percentage of 100%. It can be concluded that the preliminary reading material using the Vark model that was developed is suitable for use in reading the beginning with the Vark model in grade 1 elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve learning activities and student learning outcomes in learning the ability to read Javanese text using direct learning models in fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in class IV SDN 01 Manguharjo, Madiun City with a total of 26 students. The method used to collect data in the form of observations, questionnaires, and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively by the Milles Huberman flow method. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of students who complete learning with the direct learning method is 92.3% and 7.7% is incomplete. These results state that the completeness of learning material with the direct learning method has been successful, because it has reached a predetermined percentage of 80%. That way this direct learning method can improve the learning process and student learning outcomes in reading Javanese script

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) a positive and significant relationship between parenting and interpersonal intelligence with mastery of social science competency, (2) a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal intelligence and mastery of social science competency (3) positive and significant relationships jointly parenting parents and interpersonal intelligence with mastery of IPS knowledge competencies. This research is an ex post facto research type of correlation research. The population is 220 fourth grade students at SD Gugus XI Buleleng Subdistrict in 2018/2019 academic year. A sample of 135 students was determined by proportional random sampling method. Hypothesis testing uses simple regression test and multiple regression test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test showed: (1) a positive and significant relationship between parenting style and mastery of social science competency with a correlation of 0.621 (2) a positive and significant relationship between interspersonal intelligence and mastery of social science competency with a correlation of 0.689 (3) positive and significant relationship of parenting and interpersonal intelligence with mastery of social science competency with a correlation of 0.786. This means parents' parenting and interpersonal intelligence affect the mastery of the IPS knowledge competency of grade IV students in SD Gugus XI, Buleleng Subdistrict, 2018/2019 Academic Year.

Abstract

Regular class design make students uncomfortable and uninterested in learning. The purpose of this study was to examine the contribution of the interior of classroom and learning motivation on learning outcomes PPKn. This study used correlational study. Technique sampling using simple random sampling. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires, documentation, observation, and interviews. Test instrument through validity and reliability test. The data analysis technique used is the prerequisite test data analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between class interior and learning motivation towards learning outcomes PPKN with a very strong category and contributes quite high which means that the interior of classroom and learning motivation plays a role in improving student learning outcomes, especially in PPKn lesson. The final conclusion is that the interior of classroom and learning motivation contribute to the learning outcomes PPKn Force Elementary School third grade Draupadi Gunungpati District of Semarang

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain the analysis of Mathematics teaching materials of Grade V Elementary Schools in Malang. The research method used is the type of qualitative research. The subject of this research is the fifth grade elementary school teacher in Malang. The type of data used is qualitative data obtained from the responses of teachers and students as users of teaching materials, as well as observational studies of the implementation of learning and documentation which includes the school curriculum, teaching material, and photos of learning activities. The research results that the teaching materials of Mathematics in Class V learning steps are accommodating for the achievement of learning objectives. The material is presented in an integrated and holistic manner according to the basic competencies that must be achieved. In general, the material is more on the discovery of concepts learned by students, not yet up to the application of concepts. Learning resources, facilities and learning experiences of students have not accommodated the local wisdom

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to determine the extent of teacher responses related to the use of manuals for compiling LKS based on Multiple Intelligences. In this study using descriptive qualitative research. Data collection procedures carried out by observation, documentation, and questionnaires. While this study uses data analysis of the Miles and Huberman models. The results obtained from this study are the teacher gives a positive response related to the use of manuals for compiling LKS based on Multiple Intelligences. The teacher is more helpful or easier to understand LKS and types of intelligence. The teacher does not feel difficulties in making worksheets, because in the guide can provide inspiration to innovate in making worksheets.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the content of character values on the folklore of Sumatra Island based on Strengthening Character Education (PPK). Research data sources are folklore taken from the 34 Most Popular Archipelago Folklore book written by Desy Rachmawati and published by Andaliman Books, 2019, 223 pages. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Furthermore, the data collected was analyzed with a content analysis model, namely (1) determining and discussing the content of character values  on the folklore of Sumatra Island based on Character Education Strengthening (PPK) and (2) summarizing the results of the analysis of character education values in the story. The results of this study are the values of character education contained in the story of the island of Sumatra, among others (1) religious, (2) independent, (3) mutual cooperation, and (4) integrity. Religious character values include the firm sub-values of establishment, sincerity, and protecting the small and marginalized. Independent character values include work ethic (hard work), fighting spirit, and courage. The character values of mutual cooperation include sub-values of cooperation, solidarity, empathy, commitment to joint decisions, and help. Integrity character values include the sub values of honesty, example, loyalty, moral commitment, and responsibility. The value of character education can be obtained through various things, one of which is reading and tradition that develops in the community, namely folklore

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop Delima (Home Plan) media on the Playing Subtema in the home environment for grade II elementary school. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development). The selection of this type of research is due to the authors developing a learning media product, namely Media Pomegranate (Plan of Home Environment) which is valid, practical, and effective. The results of the study showed that Pomegranate media developed were said to be valid because they obtained an average score of 4.8 and were in the good category. Likewise, the RPP, LK, and THB that were developed to support the use of Delima media were also said to be valid, because they obtained average scores in a row of 4.5, 4.1, and 4.3, and all were in the good category. The results of the implementation of the implementation of learning, student activities, and THB are said to be practical because they obtain an average score of 4.7 and 4.8 respectively and are in the good category. While THB students are said to be effective, because they have reached the established indicators.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter di Aucland University Of Technologi Faculty education, kemampuan mahasiswa di bidang akademik dan non akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa di Auckland University Of teknologi, Faculty Education. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan data bahwa penerapannya Pendidikan Karakter sangat efektif, terlihat sekali bahwa Negara New Zealand merupakan sistem pendidikan terbaik didunia dengan kualitas yang di akui secara international. Adapun penerapan 18 karakter dalam proses pembelajaran dikelas, didalam keluarga maupun dimasyarakat. Penerapan Pendidikan Karakter, dalam pembelajarannya seperti di panggung pertunjukan sehingga karakter mahasiswa terpegang secara individu, proses pembelajarannya semuanya menggunakan digital, dilakukan dengan mengikuti sintak atau tahapan sebagai berikut perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi langsung oleh pimpinan fakultas yang berbasis karakter. Tahap perencanaan dilakukan dengan membuat SOP di awal perkuliahan, tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan ke dalam kelompok, dan evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan melakukan tanya jawab sebagai bentuk refleksi selanjutnya

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries in Asia with low reading literacy skills. Therefore, the mastery of reading literacy is vital for students and the Indonesian people. This study aims to describe the process of implementing flipbook media that can improve the reading literacy of 2nd graders of elementary school and measure the improvement of their reading literacy after the application of flipbook media. The method used is Classroom Action Research. The data collection uses observation techniques and documentation, and the literacy tests uses test sheets and documentation. The subjects of this research are 17 elementary school students in the 2nd grade of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 8 Surabaya. Based on the study results, the data show that flipbook media was applied online at the habituation stage and was carried out for 15 minutes before reading. The application of online-based flipbook media can improve students’ reading literacy and learning activities of the 2nd-grade students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 8 Surabaya. The increase in reading literacy results can be seen in the literacy test results carried out in 2 learning cycles. Before applying flipbook, the result of classical literacy completeness was 29.41%. In the first cycle, the acquisition of classical reading literacy mastery was 47.06%, while in the second cycle, the classical completeness was 82.35%. So, it can be concluded that the use of flipbook media can improve the reading literacy of the 2nd-grade students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 8 Surabaya
