Abstract

The project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is a learning model that identifies, through research, real-world problems, from local to global, and develops solutions using evidence to support claims, offers solutions using multimodal approach to a presentation based on a set of 21st century skills. This research aims to analyze the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on video content in learning the basic concepts of science for students. This descriptive research uses phenomenological approach, which is a study that describes the meaning of individuals regarding their experience of a concept or phenomenon. The data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The interactive analysis model from Matthew B Miles and Hubermen is used for data analysis. The model technically consists of 4 (four) main phases: data collection, data reduction or simplification, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The analysis results show that the implementation of the PjBl learning model is effective, as seen from the students activities which closely complies to the steps. In addition, students are more creative, active, and innovative in learning science and show more confidence. Students are also more independent in learning about the topic they are interested in and becoming tutors for their friends

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of flash-based interactive multimedia learning on the fifth-grade elementary school students' thematic integrative learning outcomes. The study is a quantitative study with a True Experimental Design type of posttest-only control design. The population was 180 fifth-grade students, with 40 fifth-grade students chosen as samples using cluster sampling. The data collection used multiple-choice questions to measure the results of integrative thematic learning of the experimental and control class. The hypothesis test used is t-test. The results of the t-test analysis show that flash-based interactive multimedia learning affects the integrative thematic learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of using flipbook-based E-modules in thematic learning for fourth graders at SDN Girimoyo 02, Malang Regency. The study’s research method involves questionnaires and tests, students’ and teachers’ questionnaire responses, expert validation questionnaire results, and post-test and pre-test results. Based on the results of the study, the students’ questionnaire response was 92.85%, the teachers’ was 99%, the experts’ validation was 78%, the media validation questionnaire was 91%, the teacher questionnaire responses showed 99%, and the student questionnaire response was 93, 85. Based on these results, the E-module is categorized as valid and appropriate to use in learning activities, and the students’ cognitive result on the pre-test was 47.78, and the post-test was 83.34. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test scores, it showed an increase, and the results of the analysis of the validation results and the responses of students and teachers showed that the E-module was effective by showing success in thematic learning, so that students understand the material well

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has invaded the world of education over time. This, of course, must be balanced with the quality and professionalism of teachers. Teachers must be rich in information and technology mastery to build mature learning concepts. Of course, in order to generate student activity in learning, it also needs to be supported by learning tools that the teacher has prepared. The current pandemic condition makes students study online. In such conditions, teaching materials are needed to help students master the material independently. Electronic modules can be developed and integrated with the theory of multiple intelligences in learning  to build students' concepts and thinking skills in learning maximally. The results of the multiple intelligence-based e-module research developed are feasible to use because they meet the valid, practical, and effective criteria. Based on the validity test conducted by media experts, material experts, and teachers, the average score was 3.85. The practicality test through a student response questionnaire conducted with a limited and wide-field trial obtained an average score of 3.64 and was categorized as effective in learning completeness with 84%.

Abstract

LKPD is one of the learning materials developed by the teacher. Integrating  LKPD with local wisdom can lead the students to learn well while at the same time know about Banyuwangi local wisdoms. There are so many kinds of Banyuwangi local wisdoms, among others, Batik Blambangan, Tumpeng Sewu Tradition, Barong Ider, Barong Kemiren, and Endhog endhogantradition. Banyuwangi,  located in the east of Java island, is known as “The Sunrise of Java” due to the sun rising firstly in this region. Besides, Banyuwangi is also famous as the Using Region that has unique local wisdoms. The objective of this study is to describe a preliminary study about local wisdom LKPD in the Bayuwangi region, including curriculum analysis, integrating local wisdom by theme mapping, and deciding lessons based on the basic competence and indicator. The study uses descriptive qualitative  with teachers in Banyuwangi as the research subjects selected using purposive sampling technique. Moreover, the data collection used observation, documentation, and interview. The study was started by doing a preliminary study with curriculum analyses related to LKPD, mapping materials, determining LKPD, and making LKPD. Based on observation, LKPD made by the teachers were not linked to local wisdom. Therefore, improvement is needed to develop LKPD based on Banyuwangi local wisdoms. In addition, local wisdom LKPD can help students to know the value of local wisdoms in the LKPD integrated with the lessons. In the end, it is expected that there will be LKPD developed by the teachers by incorporating local wisdoms

Abstract

form of books. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of materials and media in locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative learning devices containing traditional game content. The research site was carried out in class II were 20 students. The research uses a research and development approach through the Dick & Carey model with 7 stages. The results of the study on indicators of introducing the traditional game of switching stars, taxes and pickles on the content feasibility achievement with an average overall score of 3, then the demonstration indicator through pictures on the presentation achievement obtained an average score of 2.25, as well as indicators of the use and attractiveness of letters on the achievement language and readability score 2. The assessment also consists of device assessment, and LKS assessment (material expert and media expert). The assessment obtained in the assessment of learning devices obtained a percentage of 88.89% which means that it meets the valid criteria. Meanwhile, the LKS assessment is based on the validation results of material and media experts, both of which get a percentage value of 90%, which means it is valid

Abstract

The implementation of learning in elementary schools applies thematic learning. Nevertheless, in reality, the learning process has not run optimally. It is because linkages among materials are not optimal, and there is no particular learning media for thematic learning. One of the efforts to optimize thematic learning is to develop thematic learning media. This study aims to develop JESSTAR media for thematic learning of theme 9 grade VI SD and test the learning media's feasibility. This study is developmental research in the field of education. JESSTAR media development uses the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The study was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Asahduren. The data collection method used is observation, questionnaire, and interview. The data analyzed in this research is a descriptive qualitative analysis to process data from the result of expert review and a quantitative descriptive analysis to process data on product validity and practicality test as indicators of media feasibility. The validity test results of media experts, material experts, and learning designs obtained the percentage level of validity of 95.00%, 90.67%, and 96.00%, respectively. If it is converted, then everything is in the excellent category. The results of the practicality test for teachers, small group trial, and large group trial obtained the percentage practicality level of 92.38%, 94,83%, and 93.73% respectively. If it is converted, then everything is in the excellent category. Based on the results of validity tests by experts and results of practicality tests by practitioners (teachers) and students, it can be seen that JESSTAR media is in the excellent category. Thus, it can be concluded that the JESSTAR media is suitable for use as a learning media for theme 9 in grade VI elementary schools

Abstract

The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in changes in all aspects of life including aspects of education in Indonesia. Learning that is usually carried out in schools turns into at-home online. PJOK learning provides learning experiences to students in the form of physical activities, play, and exercise that are planned systematically to stimulate physical growth and development, motor skills, thinking skills, emotional, social,  and morals. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of PJOK learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools including planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research subject consisted of 25 students and teachers of class III of SDN Wirogunan Pasuruan City. The research method used is qualitatively descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the PJOK learning process was carried out online

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the principal's academic supervision on the professional competence and pedagogic competence of elementary school teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach, using statistical methods and descriptions. The data analysis technique used the Spearman rank RHO correlation test. Three instruments are used in this study, namely educational supervision instruments, professional competencies, and pedagogic competencies. This study used 10 random samples with the sample criteria being elementary school teachers. The results of this study indicate that there is a strong, significant, and positive relationship between the implementation of academic supervision and the professional competence and pedagogic competence of elementary school teachers

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengembangan media interaktif chesee (cheerful house of children) untuk pembelajaran tematik tema permainan tradisional pada kelas 3 sekolah dasar.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan pengembangan model Lee & Owens yang meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data diambil dari kelas 3 SDN Torongrejo 1 sebanyak 10 peserta didik. penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumupulan data ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, lembar angket, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menghasilkan produk berupa media interaktif Chesee (Cheerful House of Children) dengan menggunakan aplikasi articulate storyline 3 dan membuat buku panduan penggunaan media yang dicetak menggunakan artpaper. Data hasil presentase dari validasi media 94,23%, validasi materi 81,25%, respon pengguna guru 88,88%, respon pengguna peserta didik 1 94,44%, respon pengguna peserta didik 2 94,44%, dan hasil evaluasi peserta didik dengan nilai rata-rata 92, 5. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pengembangan media layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dari hasil respon pengguna media interaktif Chesee (Cheerful House of Children) dapat menarik dan efektif untuk peserta didik kelas 3 SD. saran yang diberikan yaitu penambahan video permainan tradisional jamuran dan dubbing
