Abstract

Dunia perekonomian yang semakin kompetitif di bidang perindustrian dan manufaktur membuat banyak perusahaan tidak mampu bersaing dengan kompetitor di bidangnya. Pada bagian Case Assy UP di PT.Yamaha Indonesia terdapat permasalahan operator yang masih banyak waktu luang dan pembagian uraian pekerjaan yang belum seimbang sehingga produktivitas yang dihasilkan tidak maksimal. Pada penelitian ini, data yang diambil dari lembar pengamatan yang berisikan tentang aktivitas-aktivitas kerja operator yaitu waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan tersebut yang akan disesuaikan dengan uraian pekerjaan pada tiap-tiap posisi. Analisis beban kerja memberikan pengukuran yang tepat untuk menentukan berapa jumlah operator yang dibutuhkan dan menentukan beban kerja yang tepat untuk setiap operator. Sehingga menentukan hasil akhir dari pekerjaan yaitu produktivitas. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis beban kerja hasil yang diperoleh adalah rata-rata hasil produktivitas meningkat sebesar 33% dibandingkan dengan rata-rata produktivitas awal. Beban kerja operator menjadi lebih seimbang karena beban kerja awal tertinggi 92,25% dan beban kerja terendah sebesar 67,93%, sedangkan setelah perbaikan beban kerja tertinggi 99,97% dan beban kerja terendah sebesar 96,28%. Jumlah operator adalah 8 orang setelah dilakukan penelitian maka diperoleh jumlah operator ideal adalah 6 orang.

Abstract

All of the production activity   in a company cannot be separated with the material handling activity. There are a lot of companies that still use the traditional work system in the material handling activity, namely manual material handling systems. CV. Graffity Labelindo is one of company which conducts material handling mostly using human power, especially the material handling activities done by the lamination machine operators. This activities lifting materials about 6-15 kg from the bottom (floor) into the top, makes workers have to bent  to lift the materials, and then carry the materials by hand while moving about 20-24 meters.. Based on the results of questionnaires Nordic Body Map the biggest complaint that perceived lamination machine operator found on the neck, arms, thighs, waist, and back. The methods used in this research is OWAS  (Ovako Working  Analysis System). According to the data processing, the result shows that almost all the material handling activity done by the lamination machine is included in the risk category 3 (three) which is positions with harmful effects on the musculoskeletal system (high risk) an require the corrective action. The corrective action done to reduce or prevent risks of musculoskeletal disorders on the operator lamination machine is designing work facilities and improvements to the working methods. The results of the improvements can lower risk category operators lamination machine into risk category 1 (one) as to its normal position without any effects that can interfere with the musculoskeletal system (low risk).

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company main business automotive manufacturing. In producing the vehicle , the company uses a wide variety of parts , and which are part muffler . In the storage part mufflers require a fairly wide area , because there are 4 types of parts muffler with the same amount of container that is used pallet containing 30 pcs to be stored in accordance with the indications of the respective part . Part muffler having too much stock so that the buildup . When supply process takes a long time and area inventory requires a large area and that a lot of man power. In a problem that occurs in PT. XYZ, the authors analyze and compare methods that have been applied, the Kanban method and Junbiki method, where the two systems will produce a comparison in terms of man power requirements ( labour ), work time and inventory area. With Junbiki method which has the concept of zero inventory, then the result analysis shows that by using the Junbiki method to the needs of area per period can be reduced 91 % , labor requirements can be reduced by 20 % and for a time requirement handling and supply can be reduced by 22%, The research proves that Junbiki method better than the kanban method.

Abstract

In the current era of regional autonomy, regional development will be more complex. The existence of the gap between the region and the development of globalization resulted in competition between regions become increasingly tight. Sleman Regency has superior sectors in the construction, transportation and warehousing sector, real estate services and services business, which is influenced by sleman regency which is adjacent to Yogyakarta City so that it can form urban agglomeration area. Sleman Regency urban agglomeration region is a sleman district area as center of education, office, hotel and National Peace Center in accordance with RT / RW of Sleman district.

Abstract

Manual Material Handling process often caused a danger to the health and safety workers, such as accidents at work and injured muscle (musculoskeletal disorder) on the part of worker’s body. In this study will suggest to improve the alternative of manual handling in Menjangan soy sauce factory. From di proposed result that the work force on segment of the worker’s body smaller than the work force by using the old way. With a smaller force, the moment that occurs will be samller, so that the work load becomes lighter. With a lighter work load can minimize the possibility of a muscle injury in the works.

Abstract

Cibaduyut is a shoe industry center area, located in Bandung city, West Java. This industry is required to be able to improve productivity and quality assurance of footwear produced to be able to compete with other similar companies. Generally, based on observations in previous research, the condition of the craftsmen works with simple equipment in a work environment that does not meet the requirements of an ergonomic working system that meets the requirements of effective, convenient, safe, healthy and efficient. Several improvements have been made to improving facilities, environments and working methods. These improvements still seem less effective and efficient because the work culture is still irregular. Based on the above, it is necessary to improve the work culture with the 5S method in every work station / process thoroughly and systematically so as to form a good working moral movement through the process of education, forming habits, discipline and building mindset of workers who support productivity effective, comfortable, safe, healthy and efficient, so that Cibaduyut shoe will able to compete in the future.

Abstract

This research is aimed to measure the satisfaction level of Cha-cha Milk Tea‟s service and also the attributes that are needed and used to be priority of improvement by management. The method used is Service Quality (SERVQUAL) which is integrated into Importance and Performance Analysis‟s method (IPA). Data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 80 respondents ofCha-cha Milk Tea‟scustomer. The results showed  unsatisfactory levels of service satisfaction, because the satisfaction scores is less than 1. Attribute “Toilet yang bersih” is the attribute with the largest negative scores, and the other attributes which is be the priority of  improvement  are : “Karyawan yang selalu memberi salam dan sapa”, “Adanya iklan yang menarik minat pelanggan”, “Sarana parkir yang luas”, “Toilet yang bersih”, “Tersedianya pengharum ruangan”, and “Selalu mengedepankan layanan profesional”.

Abstract

Dengan lebih dari 200 juta penduduk, Indonesia memiliki potensi besar dalam sumber daya manusia, namun pendidikan masih menjadi polemik di negeri ini. Ketimpangan pelayanan pendidikan adalah salah satu dari banyak masalah yang menjadi polemik antar wilayah. Dalam banyak kesempatan, banyak yang mengatakan bahwa Pulau Jawa memiliki infrastruktur yang jauh lebih baik daripada pulau-pulau yang lain. Hal tersebut terkait dengan fakta bahwa ibukota Indonesia berada di Pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui adakah keterkaitan antara kualitas pelayanan pendidikan dan jarak dari ibukota negara ke daerah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode clustering untuk melihat kesamaan kualitas pendidikan di 33 provinsi di Indonesia. Dari clustering yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa jarak ke ibukota hampir tidak berpengaruh pada kualitas pelayanan pendidikan di daerah tertentu dan diyakini bahwa kualitas pendidikan adalah fungsi yang tergantung pada variabel yang lebih kompleks.

Abstract

Main discussion of this study is about the need proper entrepreneurship training program in higher education, especially for students, this study aims to acquire as well as to develop a proper entrepreneurial training model to improve ability of business management among students. The approach Model used in this study are ; 1) the development model of training science and technology for Entrepreneurship (IbK) , 2) model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) is one of the training strategy oriented contectual teaching and learning process (CTL) .The CTL  training concept helps the  trainers / instructors / teachers to links materials with real world situations as well as to encourage the participants  using their knowledge to be applied in their real life situation the members of society. From the training model implementation results, it can be concluded that: 1) The training model combining The Problem Based Learning (PBL) and the  development of  science and technology training model for Entrepreneurship (IbK )could be effectively applied in an  entrepreneurship training program for higher education level students, 2 ) This model succesfully synergize the materials / theories of the training to the real world situations ; 3) This model also works to build the teamwork. Finally, this model manage to indicate its effectiveness by the level of attendance at  90%, as well as teamwork formed in making innovative, original and worth-to-be implemented business proposal.

Abstract

Pests in rice crops, namely mice, stem borer and  Wereng Coklat (Nilaparvata lugens Stal). Wereng coklat  is classified as very dangerous for the rice crop. This pest is highly detrimental to the agricultural system in Indonesia, with attacks on a wide area in a short time. This pest control methods such as by controlling in farming, controlling the resistant varieties, physical controls and mechanical and biological control. That method is not effective, so a more practical way to control and quickly began to do that is chemically using pesticides. But the impact of pesticides is dangerous, especially due to the use unwisely. So that environmentally friendly technologies needed to control pests and ecosystem. Target of this research is to develop a prototype tool wereng coklat control without pesticides powered windmills that are environmentally friendly. Prototype are designed with two modes, namely automatic controlled with motion sensors and manual.  Prototype was designed with a mechanical concept that is environmentally friendly, it is to reduce the effects caused by the use of chemical pesticides. The purpose of this research is to design wereng coklat pest control device with a motion sensor that consists of a mechanical vacuum and aluminum propeller. The mechanical vacuum linked to the pipe that tipped on light suction funnel. In the suction funnel installed motion sensors that serve to detect the presence/movement wereng coklat pests.  The voltage source is derived from the modification of dry cell connected to a windmill which functioned as a generator. Dry cell store electricity converted from windmills. This study is experiment research with developed by tested prototype both pre and post test. The prototype developed by considering three factors: time of arrival (X1), time seedlings (X2) and the planting location (X3) against the number of catches (Y). This device does not use pesticides, but rather take advantage of the weakness of wereng coklat pest are very sensitive to light. Based on the test results we can conclude that the most influential variable to variable number of catches (Y) is variable Planted Area (X3) with a coefficient of 0.372. Then variable planting time (X2) with a coefficient of 0.355 and the smallest influence is variable arrival time (X1) with a coefficient of 0.140.
