Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the teacher and student’s activities and to find out the learning outcome. This study applies the class action research (PTK), the research subject is the X-3 Senior high school state I Waru Sidoarjo. This study found that the teacher’s activities is very good with the escalation in each cycle (64,7% and 83,8%), and the students activities also very good with the growth percentages in each cycle (65% and 82,5%). The students learning outcome also increases in its classical completeness 61% to 83,33% by employing the cooperative type TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model.

Abstract

The goal of this study are : 1) to find out the teacher activities by applying the direct learning model in preparing the Annual Income Tax Individual Tax Payer 2) to find out the students activities by applying the direct learning model in the basic competencies Preparing the Annual Income Tax Individual Tax Payer  3) to find out the students’ learning outcome toward the employment of direct learning model in the basic competencies Preparing the Annual Income Tax Individual Tax Payer. This class action research (PTK) is done in three cycles. The data collecting technique is done by doing the observation, documentation, test and questionnaire. Based on the collected data and the discussion, it can be concluded that there’s an enhancement of the teacher in managing the learning process. From the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle with the aspect value 2,8; 3,5; and 4,2, whilst the students activities also increased with the aspect value 2,5; 3,4; and 4. The students’ learning outcome achievement in the 1st cycle is 76, and increase in the 2nd cycle 79,32 and 84 in the 3rd cycle. From the students response questionnaire, it is found that 71% of the students are agree on the application of the direct learning model in the basic competencies Preparing the Annual Income Tax Individual Tax Payer

Abstract

The observation and interview that done on the Economics teacher and so did the students in VIII-C, showed that the students learning outcome remained low. That was because the students hadn’t find their effective learning yet, moreover the teacher tended to apply the speech and discussion method. Thus, they needed the learning strategies to answer their problem. One of the effective techniques that can be applied is the Quantum teaching with mind mapping. This study aimed to find out the class activity in applying the Quantum teaching method with Mind mapping to increase the students’ learning outcomes in Economics lesson. Moreover, this study also aimed to find out the students’ learning outcomes after applying this model. The type of this study is Class Action Research that done in two cycles. The result of the study shows that the implementation of Quantum Teaching learning model with Mind mapping had run effectively. The students and teacher activity were increased in each cycle. Furthermore, the test result shows that after applying the Quantum teaching learning model with Mind mapping, the students learning outcomes is increased in every cycle.

Abstract

The research was done at X-8 class of SMAN 2 Mojokerto. The purpose of this study is to find out the application of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on Micro and Macro economics to achieve the students’ comprehensiveness of X-8 class SMA Negeri 2 Mojokerto. The data analysis showed that the learning model of Reciprocal Teaching on the subject of Micro and Macro economics class X-8 SMA Negeri 2 Mojokerto to achieve the students’ learning comprehension in the second round is 96.97%. It can be seen from the teacher management in managing the learning model of Reciprocal Teaching is increased in every meeting and get better. While the activities of students included in the category of active students. Student opinion on the implementation of teaching Reciprocal Teaching (Teaching reversed) is very positive.

Abstract

Nation of KBK and KTSP as the new curriculum leads the students to be more active, thus the one way learning process is not be used anymore. Moving class is the learning system in which the students themselves come to a certain teacher’s class. The method used in this research is descriptive by describing the implementation of moving class in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya and so does the students response on it. The observation sheet for students activity, teacher activity, and students questionnaire is used for gathering the data. The result of this research shows that the moving class implementation had run well. The media used and other facilities made students felt comfort during the class. While running the moving class, teacher no needed to be in class during the substitution. Moreover, students showed their enthusiasm on Moving class system.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the application of Think Pair Share learning strategies in improving students’ participation in the field of social science studies on employment topic. The aim, mainly to determine the activity of the teacher, student participation, student learning outcomes and student responses on the application of Think Pair Share learning strategies. This study was a class action research. The results showed that there was an improvement of student participation from the first cycle to the second cycle of the value of 2.7 to 3.8. The result showed the student learning in a first cycle is 79% increase to 100% in the second cycles, and almost all students enjoyed the Think Pair Share learning strategies.

Abstract

The study aims to find out whether the learning motivation and the parental attention give the partial or simultaneous effect to the learning outcomes on X grade students in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. The type of the research is associative with quantitative approach, since the purpose of the study is to find out the impact of those two variables. The result of the study showed that the learning motivation variable (X1) is 0,8684 and parental attention variable (X2) is 0,6736, it can be concluded that partially the learning motivation and the parental attention significantly influenced students’ learning outcomes. While the F test result is 0,905437, it can be concluded that simultaneously the students’ motivation and the parental attention influence their learning outcomes significantly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of giving the assignment toward the learning outcomes on Economics lesson. The type of this study is descriptive with quantitative approach. This study employs the purposive sampling and use one class as the object. The data gathered trough the questionnaire and interview. Analytical technique used in this study is a simple linier regression. The data analysis and hypothesis test shows the significant effect of giving the assignment on the learning outcomes.

Abstract

Communication is a means of interaction and connecting people. Besides, communication has an important role in human life since human is a social creature. It means, as the social creature, human cannot live alone and will always interact with the other. Communication is one of the sciences that can be learnt in field of study. This field of study had already learnt and applied by the Education Administration Office students of Economics Faculty of Surabaya State University. From the learning process, the students got good learning outcomes to support the interpersonal relationship. This study aims to find out the effect of learning outcomes on Communication science subject toward the interpersonal relationship among the students of Education Administration Office year 2008. The sample used is the saturated Sample those are all of the students of Education Administration Office year 2008. The data gathering technique are observation, documentation and questionnaire. The data analysis technique is Classical Assumption Test and a simple linear regression. The Kolmogorov – Smirnov test result normal distributed data and linear. The result of the study showed partially that there are no significant effects between the Communication science subject and the interpersonal relationship.

Abstract

The  model  of  this  research  used  classroom  action  research  (CAR).  The  results  showed  (1)  The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle to obtain the value of classical completeness was 69.44%,  while  the  second  cycle  obtained  by  classical  completeness  was  88.88%,  and  the  third cycle obtained  by  classical  completeness  was  97.22%.  (2) Activities of  teachers  in  implementing cooperative learning model type with the media photos Number Head Together in 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle  performed  in  good  criteria.  (3)  Activities  of  students  during  cooperative  learning  Number Head Together media types are classified on the criteria of good photos. (4) The response of students to the type of cooperative learning Number Head Together media photos showed that students were motivated to participate in learning IPS Economy (5) All obstacles which appear in Cooperative Learning Number Head Together types with media images can be resolved.Key Words: Number Head Together,  Photo, learning outcomes.
