Abstract

Abstract: The establishment of science-technology Islam originated from the transcendental consciousness that God acts directly provide instruction to people in his capacity as al-'Alim and al-Mu'allim al-Nās with inspiration pattern into intuition or follow the instructions of the Quran on the basis of faith in the verses relating to science-technology. God teaching techniques outlined by humans with the conceptualization, theorization, saintifikasi, and technologization the verses of Allah either paragraph quraniyyah and kauniyyah. Starting point is the establishment of science-technology read. Results of reading will get something, a concept, or a variable. Thus, the more the reading of a Muslim will increasingly have something, concepts or variables. If the reader can find the basic relationship of two or more things, concepts, variables, then he can find one unit theory. Segususan systematic theory will result in one branch of science. Human intellectual activity that knows no stopping, then starting from only one branch of science will continue to be found various kinds of science. The next route, childbirth science technology. And, science-technology school of Islam embraced the benefits of technology for the service in order to obtain marḍatillah. Abstrak: Rute pembentukan sains-teknologi Islam berawal dari kesadaran transendental bahwa Allah berperan langsung memberikan pengajaran kepada manusia dalam kapasitasnya sebagai al-‘Alim dan al-Mu’allim al-nās dengan pola pengilhaman ke dalam intuisi atau mengikuti petunjuk al-Quran atas dasar iman dalam ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan sains-teknologi. Teknik pengajaran Allah dijabarkan oleh manusia dengan jalan konseptualisasi, teorisasi, saintifikasi, dan teknologisasi terhadap ayat-ayat Allah baik ayat quraniyyah maupun kauniyyah. Dan, sains-teknologi Islam menganut mazhab manfaat teknologi untuk ibadah dalam rangka memperoleh marḍatillah. Keywords: konsep, teori, sains, teknologi, marḍatillah.

Abstract

AbstractThe role of the ulama founder of Nahdlatul Ulama with the historical development of NU is closely, like currency side. The pattern of the development of the mind with the organization cannot be removed from the thinking of the founding. K.H. Hasyim Ash'ari, K.H. Abdul Wahhab Hasbullah and K.H.R. Asnawi Kudus is three great figures that have a very important role in upholding the teachings and values of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah in Java through both pesantren, ideas and the books written by them. This research aims to know the role of the leaders of the third phase of the development of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah in Java and movements done by the three prominent figures in upholding the values of Ahl al Sunnah wa al- Jama’ah.Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah what is meant here is in the context of the NU s, where Ahl al- Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah be owned claims NU. Since it was established in 1926. The existence of the Hijaz Committee initiated by the K.H. Abdul Wahhab Hasbullah does not remove from several factors, one factor among others: international factors, religious ideologies and nationalities. With the formation of the Committee of the Hijaz was born Jam’iyah Nahdlatul Ulama as container and vehicle to preserve the values of Ahl al-Sunnah Wa al-Jama’ah al-Nahdliyah. The values of the Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah spread through boarding schools and books of the yellow and the results of the third ideas community.

Abstract

Abstract: In this contents, Hadith reflects the different teaching of Islam, including creed, worship, and muamalah. All of that requires a different treatment and understanding the proportionally. This article examines how to understand the Hadiths in the field of muamalah and what is the paradigm construct of it. By using the method of subjective-humanistic hermeneutics, this article produces findings, as follows: first, the Hadiths of muamalah reflect construct of human relationships and it can change according to the changes and development of social life. Therefore, these Hadiths can be understood by using the anthropocentric paradigm, oriented on the needs of humans and make it as a subject and object either of the understanding. Second, this anthropocentric paradigm aims to find the sunnah and host it again in the present day. This anthropocentric understanding holds on to the principles and the universal values contained in the text of the Hadith as well as humanistic social ethics that upholds human values that are fairness, equal and tolerant without discrimination in various fields.Abstrak: Dari segi kandungannya, hadis Nabi mencerminkan muatan ajaran tentang akidah, ibadah dan muamalah. Kesemuanya itu membutuhkan pen­sikapan yang berbeda dan pemahaman yang proporsional. Artikel ini meng­kaji bagai­mana memahami hadis-hadis Nabi dalam bidang muamalah serta bagai­mana konstruksi paradigma yang dimaksud. Dengan menggunakan metode hermeneutika subjektif-humanistik, artikel ini menghasilkan temuan, sebagai berikut: Pertama, hadis muamalah merefleksikan konstruk relasi manusia, dan bisa berubah sesuai dengan perubahan dan perkembangan kehidupan sosial. Oleh karena itu hadis-hadis ini bisa dipahami dengan meng­gunakan paradigma antroposentris, yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan manusia dan menjadikannya sebagai subjek sekaligus objek dalam pemahaman. Kedua, paradigma antropo­sentris ini bertujuan untuk menemukan sunnah Nabi dan meng­hadir­kannya kembali dalam konteks sekarang. Pemahaman antropo­sentris ini berpegang pada prinsip dan nilai-nilai universal yang terkandung dalam teks hadis serta etika sosial humanistik yang menjunjung tinggi nilai kemanusiaan yang berkeadilan, setara dan toleran tanpa diskriminasi dalam berbagai bidang.

Abstract

Abstract: The commonly accepted assumption among Muslim scholars is that the abrogation (naskh) theory is regarded as method necessary for interpreting the Qur’ān and for law-making. This article is aimed to explore how it has been used to support ideological interest. At the beginning, some traditions, which are contradictory to each other, ascribed to ‘Alī bin Abī Ṭālib, for instance, which supports the importance of knowledge on naskh should be categorized as unreliable ones. The traditions have been distorted and interpreted in different context to argue for the importance. In wide range of the abuse, the naskh has been used to interpret some ambiguous verses, such as what Aḥmad Al-Baḥrānī, a Shiite scholar, done to set up his own theological belief. Meanwhile, the Muslim jurists have applied it as a method of making of law decision. ‘Abdullah al-Karkhi (w. 340 H), a Hanafite scholar, for instance, used it to attack against legal opinions of non-Hanafite scholars. Since al-Shafi‘is era till contemporary time, the naskh has been regarded as a method of developing Islamic law, of course, in different contexts and trends. Abstrak: Asumsi umum yang sudah diterima di kalangan sarjana Muslim adalah bahwa teori naskh dianggap sebagai perlu yang perlu untuk menafsirkan al-Quran dan untuk penentuan hukum. Artikel ini dimaksudkan untu mengekplorasi bagaimana ia digunakan untuk mendukung kepentingan ideologis. Pada mulanya, beberapa hadis, yang saling bertentangan satu sama lain, yang dianggap bersumber dari ‘Al ī bin Abī Ṭālib, misalnya, yang mendukung pentingnya ilmu pengetahuan tentang naskh harus dikategorikan sebagai yang tidak dapat dipercaya. Hadis-hadis yang terdistorsi dan ditafsirkan dalam konteks yang berbeda untuk membuktikan kepentingan tersebut. Dalam deretan penyalahgunaan, naskh digunakan untuk menafsirkan beberapa ayat yang ambigu, seperti yang dilakukan oleh Aḥmad al-Baḥrānī , seorang ulama Syi‘ah, dalam seperangkat kepercayaan teologis. Sementara itu, para ahli hukum telah menerapkan ini sebagai sebuah metode dalam menentukan hukum. ‘Abdullah al-Karkhi (w. 340 H), seorang bermazhab Ḥanafī, misalnya, menggunakannya untuk menyerang pendapat-pendapat hukum dari mazhab-mazhab non- Ḥanaf ī. Sejak era Syāfi’ī hingga masa kontemporer, naskh telah dianggap sebagai sebuah metode membangun hukum Islam, tentu saja, dalam trend dan konteks yang berbeda. Abstract

Special concern on the sources of Islamic history contributes to the thoughts and identity of Indonesian Muslims. Muslim self-esteem can be formed from these historical sources. The formation of Muslim self-esteem gives the right decision so that it does not come out of the context of religion and humanity. The historical source used in this study is the text of the 1983 Nahdlatul Ulama Declaration (NU). The concept of Islam Nusantara (NU) 2015 is an implication of the values of the text of the declaration. The purpose of this study is to provide new insights regarding the 2015 NU's concept of Islam Nusantara by analyzing the historical sources of the text of the 1983 NU Declaration and exploring the values of self-esteem contained in the text of the declaration. The study used a qualitative method with psychohistory approach. This study produced two discussions: 1) The 2015 NU's concept of Islam Nusantara. 2) Psychohistory self-esteem in the historical source of the text of the 1983 NU Declaration. This study concluded that the conception of Islam Nusantara 2015 was mandated by the 1983 NU declaration, in its implementation provides Islamic self-esteem that can hinder the process of radicalization.

Abstract: Tauḥīd is a teaching that is most influence to galvanize the soul so strong and steadfast. Soul freedom, independence, personal, and loss of fear to face all hardships of life, the courage to face all the difficulties, so that did not differ between the living dead, the origin to seek Allah's pleasure, is the former doctrine of monotheism which rarely peerless in this life struggle manusia. This article will elaborate Hamka’s thought in aspects of divinity, which is how people can come to God with a wide variety of street or door. Hamka stated that to reach God can be reached with a variety of doors: art, philosophy, the question of the nature of life, mysticism, and the way nature. These doors have their own way in the process of finding God. By providing these doors, through which every person will surely have their own experiences with the Lord. Abstrak: Tauḥīd adalah ajaran yang sangat besar pengaruhnya bagi menggembleng jiwa sehingga kuat dan teguh. Kebebasan jiwa, kemerdekaan, pribadi, dan hilangnya rasa takut menghadapi segala kesukaran hidup, keberanian menghadapi segala kesulitan, sehingga tidak berbeda di antara hidup dengan mati, asal untuk mencari rida Allah, adalah bekas ajaran tauḥīd yang jarang taranya dalam perjuangan hidup manusia. Artikel ini berusaha mengelaborasi pemikir¬an Hamka dalam aspek ketuhanan, yakni bagaimana manusia dapat sampai kepada Tuhan dengan berbagai macam jalan atau pintu. Hamka menyatakan bahwa untuk mencapai Tuhan dapat ditempuh dengan berbagai pintu: seni, filsafat, pertanyaan hakikat hidup, tasawuf, dan jalan fitrah. Pintu-pintu ini mempunyai caranya masing-masing dalam proses menemukan Tuhan. Dengan menyediakan pintu-pintu ini, setiap orang yang melaluinya pastilah akan mempunyai pengalaman masing-masing bersama dengan Tuhan tersebut. Abstract

The Corona Virus pandemic has created policies to foster people to stay healthy and free from this disease. However, there are groups of people who ignored the covid-19 protocol for some mystical and spiritual reasons. This study taking place in Mranggen central java, observing the Majlis shalawat of Jalatunda. The congregation of zikr and prayers of Jalatunda believe that the shalawat of  Simtu al-Durar may avoid them from all kinds of diseases. The value of mysticism strengthens the spirituality of the congregation.  We use a phenomenological approach to describe and explain each variable into material for analysis. This study found that the mysticism exists in public belief has become a vehicle for the practice of reciting shalawat which further improves the spirituality of the congregation of the assembly.

Abstract

Abstract: This study reveals the function of morality and religion, especially for today's contemporary society. In fact, moral and religious issues are intimately related to human life in today's global era which has experiences a change or shift of meaning and function. Truthfully, the function of morality and religion in contemporary society barely possesses any value. Morality is noticeably a classic problem that hinders the freedom of human life, as well as religion is considerably an individual issue and another world issue (hereafter). Therefore, the focus of this study is the nature and function of morality and religion for the contemporary society, and the relationship of man, morality, and religion (Islam). Through answering the various issues above, this study uses a philosophical approach (philosophy as a method). The use aims to wholly, radically, and rationally understand what the nature and function of morality and religion for human life or for the contemporary society to the point that the understanding reaches its essential and fundamental meaning. Those issues are principally related to human and humanity. The moral and religious dimensions have been fused with the existence and essence of human life. Religion (Islam) is in accordance with the nature of humanity, and it contains the values of morality. Thus, philosophically, it implies that man, morality, and religion (Islam) is one species, and they cannot be separated. Consequently, morality and religion (Islam) should be implemented in a whole series of human life in the contemporary and global age like nowadays. Abstrak: Pengkajian ini menampilkan persoalan fungsi moralitas dan agama, khususnya bagi masyarakat kontemporer dewasa ini. Secara faktual persoalan moral dan agama adalah persoalan yang terkait dengan kehidupan manusia yang pada era global sekarang ini telah mengalami perubahan atau pergeseran pemaknaan dan fungsi. Secara faktual fungsi moralitas dan agama pada masya¬rakat kontemporer nyaris tidak memiliki nilai apa-apa. Moralitas dianggap persoalan klasik yang menghambat kebebasan hidup manusia, demikian pula agama hanya dianggap sebagai persoalan individu dan persoalan dunia lain (akhirat). Oleh karena itu yang menjadi pokok kajian dalam tulisan ini adalah apa hakikat dan fungsi moralitas dan agama bagi kehidupan masyarakat kontem¬porer, dan bagaimana korelasi manusia, moralitas, dan agama (Islam). Menjawab berbagai pokok persoalan di atas, dalam kajian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan filsafat (filsafat sebagai metode). Penggunakan pendekatan filsafat, dimaksudkan agar apa yang menjadi hakikat dan fungsi moralitas dan agama bagi kehidupan manusia atau bagi masyarakat kontemporer dapat pahami secara menyeluruh, mendasar (radikal), dan rasional, sehingga sampai pada hakikatnya yang paling hakiki dan mendasar. Persoalan hakikat dan fungsi moralitas dan agama, sesungguhnya merupakan persoalan yang terkait dengan manusia dan kemanusiaan. Dimensi moralitas dan agama sejatinya telah menyatu dengan eksistensi dan esensi manusia sendiri. Agama (Islam) sesuai dengan fitrah kemanusiaan, dan di dalamnya terkandung nilai-nilai moralitas. Dengan demikian secara filosofis dapat dikatakan bahwa manusia, moralitas, dan agama (Islam) merupakan satu spesies, yang satu dengan lainnya tidak dapat dipisahkan. Oleh karena itu moralitas dan agama (Islam) harus diimplentasikan dalam seluruh rangkaian kehidupan umat manusia pada era kontemporer dan globalisasi dewasa ini.

Abstract

The sustainability and cultural change, including gender, was associated with the delivery of value between generations. The existence of well-established interpretation of the text, which does not allow a new interpretation of the text, which is delivered to religious community make gender values remained relatively unchanged, even continuously reproduced. In this case, the transmitter of religious value, the preachers, seen in the Muslim community as the respectable and credible persons. Therefore, the doctrine they convey tend to be trusted and obeyed, without any possibility of other interpretations. The delivery model of one-direction model of messages delivery with lack of dialogue and participation of the audiences, no chance to new interpretations are another causes that led the concept of gender relatively unchanged

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to revisit the polemic between Hamzah Fansūrī and Shaykh and Nūr al-Dīn al-Ranīrī about the apostasy of Wujūdiyyat Mysticism of Hamzah Fansūrī expressed by Nūr al-Dīn al-Ranīrī. This polemic of Wujūdiyyat and Waḥdat al-Wujūd in other term was not only interesting in its time. It is also relevant until now. Recent studies with a variety of disciplines have been working dozens of pieces on this problem. Based on research by using a set of research methods, it is found that the allegations filed by Shaykh Nūr al-Dīn al-Ranīrī against Hamzah Fansūrī are not proven. This shows that categorizing Hamzah Fansuri and his understanding as apostates is a misleading accusation.Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk meninjau kembali polemik antara Hamzah Fansūrī Syekh dan Nūr al-Din al-Ranīrī tentang kesesatan tasawuf Wujūdiyyat Hamzah Fansūrī yang diungkapkan oleh Nūr al-Din al-Ranīrī. Polemik tentang Wujūdiyyat dan Waḥdat al-Wujūd dalam berbagai term tidak hanya menarik pada masanya, namun juga relevan sampai sekarang. Penelitian sebelumnya dengan berbagai disiplin ilmu telah menghasilkan puluhan karya tentang masalah ini. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dengan menggunakan se­perangkat metode penelitian, ditemukan bahwa tuduhan yang diajukan oleh Shaykh Nūr al-Din al-Ranīrī terhadap Hamzah Fansūrī tidak terbukti. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mengkategorikan Hamzah Fansūrī dan pemahamannya sebagai murtad adalah tuduhan yang menyesatkan.
