Jurnal Transportasi adalah jurnal ilmiah di bidang ilmu transportasi yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun oleh Forum Studi Transportasi antar-Perguruan Tinggi (FSTPT). Makalah-makalah yang dimuat di jurnal ini merupakan makalah-makalah terbaik dari Simposium FSTPT yang diadakan setiap tahun. Selain sebagai wadah komunikasi ilmiah, penerbitan Jurnal Transportasi juga bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan hasil-hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan bidang ilmu transportasi. Abstract

In this study, traffic accidents occurred on roads in Batu, East Java, were observed. Based on these traffic accident data, a model was built to relate the number of motorcycle accidents with the availability of road shoulders, traffic flow, and traffic speed. The results indicate that the availability of road shoulders potentially reduce the number of motorcycle accidents. Conversely, increasing the speed and traffic flow potentially increase the number of motorcycle traffic accidents on the roads in Batu.Keywords: motorcycle accidents, road shoulders, traffic flow, traffic speed

Abstract

Abstrak Persimpangan merupakan salah satu lokasi yang rawan terhadap kemacetan akibat konflik pergerakan kendaraan. Konflik pergerakan ini menyebabkan tundaan, kecelakaan serta kemacetan. Jika arus lalu lintas terlalu tinggi, masalah yang ditimbulkan karena adanya konflik meningkat sehingga pemasangan lampu lalu lintas perlu dilakukan. Dalam laporan Tugas Akhir ini dibahas mengenai perbandingan antara analisis simpang isolated dengan menggunakan MKJI 1997 dan analisis simpang koordinasi dengan menggunakan program Transyt 12, persimpangan yang dibahas yaitu persimpangan RE Martadinata-Banda, RE Martadinata-Citarum-Lombok, RE Martadinata-Cihapit, RE Martadinata-T Pramuka-Aceh. Dalam perhitungan, data yang dibutuhkan adalah data volume lalu lintas, geometrik jalan seting lampu dan kondisi lingkungan. Data-data tersebut diperoleh dari survei dilapangan.Dari hasil analisa secara system, simpang dengan kondisi isolated mempunyai nilai rasio kendaraan berhenti total adalah 29.028 stops/smp, rasio kendaraan rata-rata adalah 6.603 stops/smp, tundaan total 508.577 smp-jam/jam, tundaan rata- rata 9.436 menit dan panjang antrian 735 m, simpang dengan kondisi koordinasi tanpa optimasi mempunyai nilai rasio kendaraan berhenti total adalah 17.720 stops/smp, rasio kendaraan rata-rata adalah 3.850 stops/smp, tundaan total 836.4 smp-jam/jam, tundaan rata- rata 15.471 menit dan panjang antrian 1165 m, simpang dengan kondisi koordinasi dengan optimasi mempunyai nilai rasio kendaraan berhenti total pada adalah 15.02 stops/smp, rasio kendaraan rata-rata adalah 3.185 stops/smp, tundaan total 656.6 smp-jam/jam, tundaan rata- rata 12.394 menit dan panjang antrian 1004 m.Kata-kata kunci: isolated, koordinasi, transyt, optimasi

Abstract

Accessibility influences people’s chance to reach health facilities. The purposes of this study are to analyze the accessibility to reach health facilities and to compare the accessibility for different classes of health facilities in Bandung. Data regarding actual road distance to reach health facilities and the publicly available digital map are processed using ArcGis software. Analysis in this study applies ARIA method. Results show that class C hospital has the highest accessibility and class D hospital has the best distribution than other classes. The analysis also shows that there is significant difference among distributions area according to hospital classes, but there is no significant difference among distributions area according to accessibility classes. These study results in the form of accessibility map to reach hospital can be employed as a base to develop transportation development and accessibility improvement to health services in Bandung.

Abstract

Abstract As archipelagic countries, seaport plays important roles in Indonesian economy. The performances of seaport significantly influence the economic growth as well as product competitiveness. Therefore, the efficiencies in seaport have received more and more attention. The traffic circulation of freight transport in the internal seaport are potentially affects the key performance of seaport. This study shows the relationship between traffic performance with the performance of seaport, which is reflected as the loading and unloading parameter. In which the improvement of traffic performance potentially increase in the loading and unloading performance. The microsimulation based approach is the applied, by taking into account the Seaport of Cigading as case study. Keywords: seaport internaltraffic, microsimulation, loading/unloading, bulk seaport  Abstrak Artikel ini berisi kajian terkait pengaruh perbaikan pengelolaan lalulintas terhadap kinerja pelabuhan. Kondisi geografis Indonesia yang terdiri atas berbagai pulau menempatkan pelabuhan sebagai salah satu infrastruktur utama transportasi Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, perbaikan kinerja pelabuhan memiliki arti penting terhadap sistem transportasi Indonesia secara umum, maupun terhadap aspek pertumbuhan ekonomi. Salah satu aspek dalam sistem kepelabuhan adalah aspek sirkulasi lalulintas internal. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan pengelolaan lalulintas internal memberikan dampak positif dalam peningkatan kinerja pelabuhan secara umum, yang terlihat dari potensi bongkar muat pelabuhan. Model simulasi-mikro yang umum digunakan untuk menganalisis kinerja lalulintas jalan raya digunakan dalam studi ini, dengan mengambil Pelabuhan Cigading sebagai studi kasus. Kata-kata kunci: lalulintas internal pelabuhan, bongkar/muat, simulasi-mikro, pelabuhan curah

Abstract

The waste of sawdust ash available in Ternate, North Maluku Province, has the potential to be used as material for making asphalt concrete mixtures. In this study, the waste of sawdust ash was used to make a mixture of type B Hot Rolled Sheet Asphalt Concrete (HRS). The results showed that sawdust ash has the potential to be used as the filler material in the mixture of type B HRS. It was shown also that the voids in mixture of the type B HRS in this study were very high, which could reduce the durability of the mixture. The use of sawdust ash has also the potential to produce cheaper mixtures.Key words: sawdust ash, hot rolled sheet, voids in the mix, durability.

Abstract

Abstract As one of the TDM alternative for improving bus public transport services, park-and-ride (P&R) could support a larger mode shift from private car users. Experience from other developed countries proves that P&R could bring more passenger uses mass transit system. Two important parameter for the successful of P&R services are location and tarif.  In Jakarta, the successful implementation of Blok M-Kota first busway corridor could not be followed by others, due to low quality of transfer facilities. Abstract

Abstract In a complex system, such as in the field of transportation safety, the problem is actually present in the basic structure of the system. Therefore, an analysis of the system is needed to solve the problems in a comprehensive manner. For this reason, a systems approach is highly demanded. The systems approach is not just a matter of theory but also the practical way of thinking and philosophy in solving a problem. System dynamics model presents a set of cohesive steps to be followed systematically by understanding the root or basic cause of any problems under consideration. By providing insight into the feedback process, system dynamics models provide a better understanding of the users of the system to understand the dynamic behavior of a system. Keywords: system dynamics, systems approach, model, transport safety  Abstrak Dalam suatu sistem yang kompleks, seperti dalam bidang keselamatan transportasi, permasalahan sebenarnya terdapat pada struktur dasar sistem tersebut. Oleh karena itu, analisis terhadap sistem dibutuhkan untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan secara komprehensif atau diperlukan suatu bentuk penyelesaian yang menggunakan pendekatan sistem. Pendekatan sistem bukan hanya menyangkut masalah teori tetapi juga mengenai cara berpikir dan filsafat praktis dalam memecahkan suatu masalah. Model dinamika sistem menyajikan seperangkat langkah-langkah penyelesaian kohesif yang harus diikuti secara sistematis dengan memahami akar atau penyebab dasar setiap permasalahan yang dipertimbangkan. Dengan memberikan wawasan dalam proses umpan balik, model dinamika sistem memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada pengguna sistem untuk memahami perilaku dinamis suatu sistem. Kata-kata kunci: dinamika sistem, pendekatan sistem, model, keselamatan transportasi
