Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi dan keanekaragaman gastropoda yang berasosiasi dengan ekosistem mangrove di wilayah pesisir Teluk Tomini sekitar Desa Tabulo Selatan Kecamatan Mananggu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan April sampai Bulan Desember 2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data adalah metode line transek dengan menggunakan kuadran berukuran 1x1 meter. Lokasi penelitian dibagi menjadi 3 stasiun yaitu Stasiun I (dekat Pemukiman), Stasiun II (Area Rehabilitasi), dan Stasiun III (dekat Estuary). Semua jenis gastropoda yang terdapat di dalam kuadran (epifauna dan treefauna) dihitung dan diidentifikasi. Parameter kualitas air yang diukur yaitu suhu, pH, salinitas, dan substrat. Analisis data meliputi komposisi jenis, dan keanekaragaman gastropoda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis gastropoda yang ditemukan pada lokasi penelitian ada 10 jenis dari 7 famili. Komposisi tertinggi gastropoda treefauna dari spesies Littorina scabra yaitu 39,52%, terendah dimiliki oleh gastropoda epifauna dari spesis Chicoreus capucinus yaitu 1,52% . Indeks keanekaragaman secara rata-rata masuk kategori sedang. Kualitas air dan substrat yang terukur masih dalam kondisi layak untuk kehidupan gastropoda. Abstract

Secara umum, kapal penangkap ikan merupakan modal yang sangat penting dalam bisnis perikanan tangkap. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengkaji rancang bangun Purse seiner yang berpangalan di PPI Tenda Kota Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Nilai koefisien balok (Cb), koefisien midship (C), koefisien prismatic (Cp), dan koefisien waterline (Cw) dari purse seiner ini, secara umum sudah belum berada pada nilai kisaran yang menjadi acuan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis kemasan dan lama penyimpanan pada suhu ruang terhadap mutu abon ikan sidat (Anguilla sp.) khususnya pada TBA (Thiobarbituric acid). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai April Tahun 2013 di Laboratorium Pembinaan dan Pengujian Mutu Hasil Perikanan (LPPMHP) Provinsi Gorontalo, di Stasiun Karantina Kelas I Propinsi Gorontalo, dan di Laboratorium Jurusan Kimia Fakultas MIPA Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian utama menggunakan metode eksperimen (Experimental Method) khususnya nilai TBA dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial 3 4 dan 2 kali ulangan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari faktor I: jenis kemasan (plastik vakum, plastik seal, plastik toples), dan faktor II: lama penyimpanan (0 hari, 14 hari, 35 hari dan 56 hari). Nilai TBA abon ikan sidat selama penyimpanan meningkat. Hasil analisis nilai TBA abon ikan sidat dengan penggunaan kemasan berbeda selama penyimpanan memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap peningkatan nilai TBA. Nilai TBA tertinggi pada abon ikan sidat selama penyimpanan hingga 56 hari adalah TBA pada toples plastik sebanyak 0,3849 mg/kg dan yang terendah pada kemasan plastik vakum sebanyak 0,1439 mg/kg. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat tepung tulang ikan tuna difortifikasi kedalam kue bagea, mengetahui konsentrasi terbaik penambahan tepung tulang ikan tuna pada formula kue bagea dengan analisis nilai hedonik, dan mengetahui karakteristik kimia dan mutu hedonik dari formula terbaik. Perlakuan penambahan tepung tulang ikan tuna dengan konsentrasi 1.1%, 2.3%, dan 3.4% dari jumlah terigu dan sagu. Rancangan dan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji Kruskal Wallis dan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil rendemen tepung tulang ikan tuna yang dihasilkan yaitu 56.2%. Hasil uji kimia pada tepung tulang ikan yaitu kadar air 3.49%, abu 29%, protein 12.4%, lemak 1.98%, dan kalsium 3.88%. Hasil uji hedonik formula terbaik adalah formula dengan konsentrasi 1.1%. Hasil uji kimia kue bagea terpilih dengan kadar air 2.22%, abu 1.25%, protein 6.6 %, lemak10.41%, kalsium 0.16%, sedangkan karakteristik mutu hedonik kue bagea formula terbaik dengan hasil; kenampakan: utuh, rapi, bersih, kurang homogen; warna: coklat gelap; aroma: agak tercium aroma khas sagu dan tepung tulang ikan; tekstur: agak renyah agak lama hancur; dan rasa: gurih, agak manis, agak terasa tepung tulang ikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of immersion in a mangrove api-api (Avicennia marina) leaf juice with different doses that affect the survival of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) seeds infected with the parasite Trichodina sp. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The fish used were tilapia that had been infected with an initial intensity of 205 Trichodina sp. This research was conducted for 7 days. The treatment used was the dosage of mangrove leaf juice and water, where the dosages were A (2.5 gram/liter), B (5 gram/liter), C (7.5 gram/liter) and D (Control). The results showed that giving different doses of api-api leaf immersion had an effect on the survival of tilapia where the use of the mangrove leaf juice at a dose of 7.5 mg/liter gave the best survival results with a percentage of 86.66% and also is a solution dose that can reduce the intensity of Trichodina sp. The results of the calculation of the intensity of Trichodina sp. in treatment A (2.5 gram/liter), namely 30 individuals/head and treatment B (5 gram/liter) 15 individuals/head of treatment C (7.5 gram/liter) the intensity of Trichodina sp. 6 individuals/head. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness dose of EM4 (Effective Microorganism-4) pro-biotic to increase the population of Daphnia magna natural feed. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. The treatment in this study used pro-biotic EM4 with a dose of 1 ml for treatment A, a dose of 3 ml for treatment B. 5 ml dose for treatment C and a dose of 7 ml for treatment D. The highest population growth rate was found in treatment A dose 1 ml. Followed by treatment B with a dose of 3 ml, treatment C at a dose of 5 ml and the lowest at treatment D at a dose of 7 ml with values of 0.29, 0.09, 0.05 and 0.03 respectively. ANOVA analysis showed that the provision of pro-biotic EM4 had an effect on the population growth rate of Daphnia magna. The data from the further test of the least significant difference (LSD) showed that treatment A was significantly different from treatment B, C and D. Treatment B, C and D were not significantly different. The results of water quality measurements for temperatures ranging from 26-29 ° C, pH ranges from 5-6 and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) ranges from 4.4-4.9 mg / liter. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding boiled betel leaf (Piper bettle Linn) with different doses on the survival rate of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio) infected with Dactylogyrus sp. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Fish Quarantine Station, Quality Control and Safety of Class I Fishery Products, Gorontalo. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD), 4 treatments and 3 replications. The test method is by soaking the betel leaf stew for 30 minutes. With dosage. Treatment A (control), B (5 ml / L water), C (10 ml / L water), D (15 ml / L water). Observations include the survival of goldfish. Treatment A (86.7%), B (100%), C (93.3%), and D (86.7%), parasite intensity and density of Dactylogyrus sp., observation of clinical symptoms and water quality. The data analysis used was the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the treatment of giving betel leaf stew with different doses on the survival of goldfish infected with the parasite Dactylogyrus sp had no significant effect among treatments. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the content of heavy metal mercury (Hg) in Limboto Lake waters. Sampling was conducted at 5 stations, namely Station 1 (estuary of the Biyonga River), Station 2 (estuary of the Alopohu River), Station 3 (floating net cages), Station 4 (non KJA) and Station. 5 (Outlet at Sungai Tapodu). Sampling both at the surface and the bottom of the water is only done once. Analysis of the content of mercury (Hg) was carried out at the Gorontalo Province Fishery Product Quality Development and Testing Laboratory (LPPMHP). The results showed that the mercury (Hg) content in Limboto Lake waters for Station 1 in the water samples taken was 0.027 mg / L, the sediment samples were 13.61 mg / L, for Station 2 namely water sample 0.013 mg / L and sediment sample 12.27 mg / L, Station 3, namely water sample 0.003 mg / L sediment sample 8.35 mg / L, while Station 4, namely water sample 0.0142 mg / L sediment sample 7.71 mg / L and for Station 5, water sample 0.016 mg / L sediment sample 6.79 mg / L. The condition of the heavy metal content of mercury (Hg), based on water quality standards of 0.001 mg / L and sediment quality standards of 0.2 mg / L, on average, has exceed the maximum limit, namely the level of mercury in the water is 0.0146 mg / L (> 0.001 mg / L) and the mercury level in the sediment was 9,746 mg / L (0.2 mg / L). Abstract

Ekosistem lamun merupakan ekosistem yang penting bagi kehidupan di laut maupun di darat, dan merupakan salah satu mata rantai bagi kehidupan akuatik di wilayah pesisir. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perairan sekitar Pulau Dudepo, Kecamatan Anggrek, Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2012 dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman lamun. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode garis transek kuadrat (line transect kuadrat). Parameter yang diukur dan dianalisis adalah kerapatan, frekuensi, indeks dominansi, indeks keanekaragaman, suhu, salinitas, kecepatan arus, DO, kecerahan, dan substrat. Didapati 6 jenis lamun yang termasuk dalam 2 famili. Jenis Enhalus acoroides dan Thalassia hemprichii dari famili Hydrocharitaceae serta jenis Cymodocea serrulata, Cymodocea rotundata, Halodule uninervis, dan Sryngodium isoetifolium dari famili Potamagetonaceae. Hasil analisis varians (ANOVA) menunjukkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman lamun berbeda nyata. Dari hasil uji Tukey terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antar stasiun yaitu Stasiun I berbeda nyata dengan Stasiun III, Stasiun II berbeda nyata dengan Stasiun III, dan Stasiun III berbeda nyata dengan Stasiun IV. Indeks keanekaragaman pada keempat stasiun penelitian termasuk kategori rendah. Kata kunci: ekosistem lamun, keanekaragaman, Pulau Dudepo.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the village of Limbatihu which runs from January to March 2015 with the aim of this study was to determine the success of the program of rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems in the District Limbatihu village district was Paguyaman Pantai.The method used is a survey method, interviews, and collecting secondary and primary data to support research conducted by the researchers.The data analysis used descriptive analysis to look at the program of rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems.The results of this study address that the program of rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems in the village Limbatihu known to succeed because with the support of local communities and government local village, the successful rehabilitation of the mangrove ecosystem can be seen the value of the participation of the government and local communities to support the implementation of rehabilitation activities carried out by Japesda.
