Jurnal Tematik
Jurnal Tematik merupakan media komunikasi para akademisi, guru dan pemerhati dunia pendidikan dalam perspektif kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian kritis yang aktual berkenaan dengan tema-tema pendidikan, seperti kebijakan atau regulasi pendidikan, kurikulum, inovasi pembelajaran (kajian materi, pendekatan, model, metode, media dan evaluasi belajar) dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan dasar. Terbit tiga kali dalam setahun yakni April, Agustus dan Desember. Terbit pertama kali untuk edisi April 2012. Jurnal Tematik adalah jurnal berkala ilmiah berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian pendidikan dasar pada fokus aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan jurnal nasional bermitra bestari yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun dalam bentuk cetak dan online oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. Pernyataan ini menjelaskan perilaku etis seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam penerbitan artikel dalam Jurnal Tematik, termasuk penulis, dewan penyunting, mitra bestari, dan penerbit. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of the use of manipulative media in project learning on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 56 years at Paud Harapan Mandiri. This type of research is true experiments. Determination of class samples is done randomly with a total sample of 15 classes per class. The instrument of data collection is the observation guide. Data analysis using t-test and observations were carried out with the observation guide that has been provided with a real level of α = 0.05. Based on the results of the study obtained an average value in the experimental class 10.73 with the highest value of 12 and the lowest value of 9, so that the ability of children to recognize the geometrical shape of the experimental class gained a significant difference. While the average value in the control class 6.7 with the highest value of 8 and the lowest value of 5, so that the ability of children to recognize the geometric shape of the control class has not been maximally developed. Based on these results the hypothesis states that tcount (10.58)> 〖t〗 _table (1,701) at the level of α = 0.05. So it can be concluded that the use of manipulative media in learning projects significantly influences the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6 years in Harapan Mandiri PAUD Medan District Medan City.

This study aims to know how the implementation of learning to count in TK ASSISI Medan. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research to see the implementation of numeracy learning in TK ASSISI Medan. Retrieval The data source in this study was purposive sampling, namely 3 classes of TK B ASSISI Medan, namely TK B1, TK B3, and TK B5. Data collection techniques used were non-participant observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study showed that seen from the Zoltan P Dienes theory that the implementation of numeracy learning in TK ASSISI Medan still did not involve children in learning, games were still rarely performed and the media and teaching aids were also still underused.

The study aims to know the application of direct learning assisted by computer media to improve the reasoning ability and learning motivation of Madinatussalam private Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. This type of research is classroom action research with data collection techniques through observations of tests of mathematical reasoning ability, teacher and student activities, and student motivation questionnaires. Based on the results of the study found: (1) the use of direct learning assisted by computer media can increase student motivation in learning mathematics in the first cycle by 66.61%, in the second cycle by 79.56%. (2) the use of direct learning assisted by computer media can increase students' mathematical reasoning ability in learning mathematics circle material I by 40.00%, cycle II 85.71%, and (3) class completeness has increased towards mathematics learning by 45.71 %. Thus it can be concluded that an increase in motivation and ability in mathematical reasoning students circle material through the use of direct learning assisted by computer media in class VIII MTs Private Madinatussalam District Percut Seituan District

This study aims to describe; 1). Strengthening Educational Character Program (PPK) based on classroom management in elementary school, 2). The obstacles on the implementation of Strengthening Educational Character Program (PPK) based on classroom management, 3). The solutions of the implementation of Strengthening Educational Character Program (PPK) based on classroom management. This research belonged to descriptive qualitative. The researcher used interview, observation, and documentation as the technique of collecting data. The result of this research showed that: 1). Strengthening Educational Character Program (PPK) based on classroom management had done through class dealing, class control, and classroom settings by integrating character values, 2). The obstacles in the implementation of Strengthening Educational Character Program (PPK) based on classroom management was the willingness of students to obey the lack of classroom agreements and the limitations of classrooms, 3). The solution of the problems were teachers should give counselling, to hold meeting, and minimized the tools and media within the classroom.

This study aims to improve vocabulary mastery using the TPR method with charade games media. Type of this research is Classroom Action Research. There were 26 students in grade 3 of SD Negeri Pabelan 1 studied. The research instruments used were teacher observation sheets and residuals, as well as structured tests. The results showed that there was an increase in the activities of teachers and students from cycle I and cycle II by applying the TPR method with an average score of teacher activity not experiencing an increase or a decrease of 10 with a percentage of 100%, both in cycle I and cycle II. The average score of student activity has increased, in the first cycle the average score of student activity was 25.5 with a percentage of 63.75%, then in the second cycle the average score increased to 36 with a percentage of 90%. While the completeness of vocabulary mastery in the first cycle of students who reached KKM (minimum passing grade) amounted to 17 students or 65% then increased in the second cycle which reached KKM of 24 students or 93%. Thus, the TPR method with charade games media can improve student vocabulary

This study aims to increase the motivation to learn theme 1 through the application of the Group Investigation learning model for 4th grade students of SDN 1 Sukorejo. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) carried out in two cycles consisting of 4 stages, namely the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students in grade 4 at SDN 1 Sukorejo, totaling 30 students. The data collection technique used was non-test (observation, documentation) and then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed an increase in the average percentage of learning motivation from the first cycle totaling 7 students (23.33%) included in the classification highly motivated, 11 students (36.67%) entered the classification quite motivated while 12 students (40%) entered in classification is not motivated and cycle II as many as 26 students (86.67%) enter the classification highly motivated and 4 students (13.33%) in the classification are quite motivated. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Group Investigation learning model can increase motivation to learn theme 1 grade 4 SDN 1 Sukorejo.

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes and shape student character through the STAD type cooperative learning model at SDM 060809 Medan. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research conducted at SDN 060809 Medan with the subject of research being the fifth grade students totaling 22 people. The object of research is the application of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Social Studies Learning Outcomes and Shape Student Character. The research data were obtained from the learning scenario, the Student Character Questionnaire Observation sheet, and the Student Learning Outcomes Test. The results of the validation of the device in the category (can be used with several revisions) and the results of the test instrument test have a reliability of 0.97 or very high. The study consisted of 2 cycles and the test was given at the end of each cycle. The results of data analysis in the second cycle obtained the results: (1) Formation of Character Students have met the specified percentage of 91%; (2) The learning achievement test score of 95.45% of the number of students who took the test was successful. Based on the results of the second cycle, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD Cooperative Learning Model can shape students' Character and Student Learning Outcomes. This success occurs with various revisions of action based on the results of reflection on the learning process and results.

This study aims to determine adolescent conformity behavior and attainment of adolescent self-identity through Assertive Training Techniques. This type of research is experimental research. The results showed that there was an influence on the use of assertive training techniques to reduce peers' conformity in class VII Puteri Sion Medan Medan. The average score of peer conformity scores at the pre-test = 52.7 while after the service (post-test) obtained an average score of peer conformity = 84.5. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of assertive training techniques to reduce peer conformity in class VII Medan Daughter Middle School Academic Year 2012/2013. This was tested using the t test obtained from calculations with the results of tcount = 2.22719> ttable = 2.13, so the hypothesis proposed was "There is a positive influence on the use of assertive training techniques to reduce peer conformity in class VII Puteri Sion Medan Middle School " acceptable.

This study aims to know the effect of life pharmacies on the introduction of science in children aged 5-6 years old at TK Aisyiyah BustanulAthfal 06 Bromo Medan. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research design. The design in this study was Pre-Experimental Designs, in the form of One-Group PretestPostest Design. The sampling technique is done by random sampling, namely by selecting samples by random method, because the population has the same characteristics in terms of age, namely 5-6 years of age. Data collection techniques by observing with the observation guide instrument. Data analysis with descriptive statistics and t-test to test hypotheses. The results of the analysis show (posttest) that utilizes a better pharmacy / higher compared to the control class. The highest score was in the posttest 14 data, whereas in the 12th pretest. Posttest data averages 10.1, for pretest data 7.5. Based on these results it states that a live pharmacy provides a significant influence on the introduction of children's science that is from the results of hypothesis testing obtained t count = 18.57> t table = 1.729. This shows that there is a significant influence of life pharmacies on the introduction of science of children aged 5-6 in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 06 Bromo Medan.
