Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of the amount of tapioca flour mixture to the quality of beef meatballs. This study used a complete randomized design with one factor, namely the amount of tapioca flour  (T): (20% 30% 40% and 50%). The parameters analyzed were the degree of acidity and value organoleptic (color, flavor and firmness). The results showed that the addition of various levels of different starch towards making meatballs can produce the same pH that is 5.5 whereas the normal pH is 7.0, which means the acidity level is still below standard. In the organoleptic tests it can be concluded that the addition of starch at various levels in the making meatballs there is no real effect on the taste and aroma, while the color and texture of the tapioca flour at the level of 40% and 50% there is a very real difference effect.Keywords : The meatballs and tapioca ingredient

Abstract

Hypothesis interior through this be contained influence time and temperature preserving fresh cement Peranakan Etawa (PE) Goat about motility spermatozoa. See through the will be fresh cement Peranakan Etawa Goat from animal husbandry Mr Dono in a place in Blitar. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Factorial. Research used was fresh cement Peranakan Ettawa goat. The result of the research indicated that spermatozoa quality of Peranakan Etawwa goat at 5°C in different preserving time within and without extender showed the significant differency (P<0, 01). However contained influence the very obvious time confusion fresh cement peranakan Etawa goat about temperature confusion nor such interaction the two of them. Conclusion the hardearned from product through this that is storage from temperature at 5°C see quality the most good that is capable hold out to long confusion in 45 hours as compared with storage from temperature space the only capable hold out to long confusion in 30 hours.Keywords: Time and temperature various, fresh semen, Peranakan Etawa goat, motility Spermatozoa

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the feed conversion and income over feed cost extra pulp fed soya and cassava fermented. materi used were 12 male merino sheep with an average weight of 30 kg. Experimental method which consists of 4 treatments with 3 replications livestock. The treatment P0 control; P1 concentrate 90% + 10%; P2 concentrate 80%+20%; P3 concentrate 70%+30%. The variables were observed in this study include feed conversion and income over feed cost. Results of this study that the addition of soy pulp and onngok fermented in concentrate feed did not significantly affect feed conversion (P<0.05) and income over feed cost (P <0.01). The average feed conversion P0, P1, P2, P3 are respectively 5286.40; 5922.90; 3598; 51 and 2578.44 and the average value P0 income over feed cost 243 224; 173 339; 345 113; 576 885. It was concluded that the use of fermented soybean and cassava dregs did not significantly affect feed conversion but it can increase the value of income over feed cost.Keywords: Fermentation, Feed Convertion, Income Over Feed Cost

Abstract

ABSRACT This study to determine the Substitution ofconcentrate with by-product of Meal wornm on feed conversion and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) of rabbits. The material used in this study were 12 rabbits aged to months with an average initial weight is 0,5 kg. Basal feed given is forage, water spinachand concentrates. Forage given as much as 40% and the rest is concentrates. Treatment research is the substitution of concentrate with the by-product of Meal worm as muchas 0% (P0), 33,3% (P1), 66,7% (P2), and 100% (P3). The research method was an experiment with a randomized block design, 4 treatment three replication. The research variabels are feed conversion abd IOFC (Rp/head). The research data were tabulated and analyzed using analsysis of variance, if there is a difference than continued by Honestly Significat Difference (HSD). The results of data analysis showed no difference (P>0.05) with substitution of concentrate with the by-product of Meal worm on feed conversion and IOFC of rabbit rearing. Average feed conversion op P0,P1,P2,and P3 were : 7.22; 5.91; 7.91; and 11.83 respectively. While the average IOFC (Rp/head) for P0,P1,P2, and P3 were: 1,960; 4,936; 6,691; and 3.361 respectively. The substitution of concentrate with 33,3% of the by-product of Meal worm can be applied in rabbits rearing. Based on the results of research in sampulkan that substitution Meal worm waste with prosetase 20% give the best feed conversion and substitution as much as 40% gave the highest value of IOFC, Based on the research results obtained, it is advised to use the substitution of concentrate with Meal waste as much as 20%. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the leaf extract beluntas and Azolla on carcass weight and carcass percentage broiler ducks. This study uses field research by using a completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 4 treatments with 4 replicates and each treatment using 12 broiler ducks. Aspects observed in this study is the carcass weight and carcass percentage on broiler ducks. From the results of this study showed the highest body weight contained in P0B treatment for only 1400 grams, while the lowest was in the weight of 1000 grams P3D. This difference is due to the degree of weight gain with different consumption. From these results it can be seen that the leaf extract beluntas and Azolla show that there is a real impact on carcass weight. Because at the time of treatment the first week to the second week pobud remaining feed, whereas in the second week of treatment until the third week of feed pobud run out. This difference is due to the degree of weight gain and consumption are different. Based on the results of analysis of variance is known that the use of leaf extracts beluntas and Azolla significantly affect carcass percentage of 40-day-old broiler ducks. The real effect of this is due to the use of extracts of leaves beluntas and each treatment as much as P1 beluntas (0.18 kg) and P1 azolla (1.02 kg), P2 beluntas (0.12 kg) and P2 azolla (1.08 kg), P3 beluntas (0.06 kg) and P3 azolla (1.14 kg), in the diet is not giving effect to the carcass percentage. Abstract

This research to know the effect of the use of jackfruit seed flour as a filler material to the quality of laying duck meatballs. The material used in this study were jackfruit flour 0% (P0), 5% (P1), 10% (P2), 15% (P3) and 20% (P4) This method uses Group Random Design (RAL) with four repetitions. Using single variance analysis data. The results of the organoleptic test and cooking shrinking showed that in the treatment of P0 and P1 with the seed starch level of 0-5% jackfruit there was a very real effect (P <0.01). While on P2, P3 and P4 do not influence good elasticity, aroma, taste, color, and texture. This is why the more the addition of starch level will decrease. Suggested in the process of making meatballs duck meat using 95% tapioca starch with 5% starch seed jackfruit

Abstract

Pengencer air kelapa adalah pengencer semen alternatif yang dibuat dengan bahan baku lokal dan murah. Penelitihan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas spermatoza sapi PO (Peranakan Ongole) dalam pengencer air kelapa selama penyimpanan pada suhu 4-5 oC. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Loka Penelitian Sapi Potong Grati Pasuruan dan Laboratorium Reproduksi Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Brawijaya, pada bulan Maret hingga April 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percoboaan dengan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Terdapat 3 perlakukan, P1 = Pengencer air kelapa + 20% kuning telur, P2 = Pengencer air kelapa + 20% kuning telur + 0,4% putih telur + fruktosa 0,01 gr/ml. P3 = Pengencer air kelapa + 20% kuning telur + 0,4% putih telur + fruktosa 0,02 gr/ml dengan 10 ulangan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kualitas spermatozoa antara pengencer pengencer air kelapa (P1, P2, P3) selama peyimpana suhu 4 – 5 oC.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui saluran pemasaran susu segar di KUD Karangploso Desa Bocek Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemasaran susu sapi KUD Karangploso Desa Bocek Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dan wawancara langsung dengan anggota KUD Karangploso. Variabel penelitian meliputi biaya pemasaran, total keuntungan pemasaran, dan margin pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa saluran pemasaran susu sapi di Desa Bocek Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang yaitu : Peternak →KUD →IPS →dan Konsumen. Biaya pemasaran Rp. 572,75 per liter, total keuntungan pemasaran Rp. 1.727,25 per liter dan margin pemasaran Rp. 2.300,00 per liter dan biaya pemasaran dari KUD ke konsumen total biaya pemasaran Rp 291,05 per liter, total keuntungan pemasaran Rp 2.808,96 per liter dan margin pemasaran Rp 3.100,00. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa saluran pemasaran susu sapi di KUD Karangploso Desa Bocek Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang sudah lebih baik. Saran yang dapat peneliti berikan untuk peternak di Desa Bocek Kecamatan Karangploso Kabupaten Malang yakni harus lebih ditingkatkan lagi dalam beternak sapi perah supaya mendapatkan susu yang berkualitas baik. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out the marketing channels of fresh milk at Karangploso Village Cooperative in Bocek Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency. The material used in this study was the marketing of cow milk Karangploso KUD Bocek Village Karangploso District, Malang Regency. The method used in this study is a survey method and direct interviews with members of the Karangploso KUD. Research variables include marketing costs, total marketing profits, and marketing margins. The results showed that marketing channels for cow's milk in Bocek Village, Karangploso Sub-District, Malang Regency were: Breeders → KUD → IPS → and Consumers. Marketing costs Rp. 572.75 per litre, total marketing profit of Rp. 1,727.25 per litre and marketing margin of Rp. 2,300.00 per litre and marketing costs from KUD to consumers with total marketing costs of Rp. 291.05 per litre, total marketing profit of Rp. 2,808.96 per litre and marketing margin of Rp. 3,100. The conclusion of this study is that the marketing channel of cow's milk in Karangploso Village Cooperative in Bocek Village, Karangploso Subdistrict, Malang Regency is better. Suggestions that researchers can give to farmers in Bocek Village, Karangploso Subdistrict, Malang Regency, which must be further improved in raising dairy cows to get good quality milk.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian substitusi pakan lengkap dengan fermentasi dried quail waste (DQW) terhadap konsumsi dan pertambahan bobot badan domba Merino. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis laboratorium dan percobaan pada ternak. Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan dan pertambahan bobot badan domba, analisis dapa mengunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), dan jika terdapat perbedaan maka dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Dried quail waste memiliki potensi besar sebagai bahan pakan pengganti, karena dari analisis laboratorium dried quail waste yang difermentasi dengan penambahan onggok dan tetes mengandung protein kasar 25.10 %. Pemberian substitusi pakan dengan fermentasi DQW sebesar 5% (P1) dapat memberikan pertambahan bobot badan sebesar 150,80g / ekor/ hari, P0: 79,37g / ekor/ hari dan P2: 103,18g/ ekor/ hari. Dan konsumsi pakan P0:1,80 kg/ekor/hari, P1: 1,86 kg / ekor/hari dan P2: 1,76kg / ekor/ hari. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa, Pemberian substitusi pakan fermentasi DQW berpengaruh nyata pada pertambahan bobot badan domba Merino (P<0,05), dan tidak berpengaruh pada konsumsi pakan domba Merino (P>0,05). Abstract The purpose of this study is to know substitution effect of giving complete feed with Dried quail waste (DQW) fermentation To feed consumption and Body weight gain merino sheep. Method used is experimental laboratory and experiment on animals. The variables measured were feed consumption and weight gain Merino sheep, data analysis using randomized block design, and followed by test Duncan. From the research that has been done can be seen that Dried Quail Waste have considerable potential as substitute material feed, because of laboratory analysis dirt Dried Quail Waste fermented with the addition of cassava and drops contains crude protein 25.10 %. Results Giving feed substitution of DQW by 5% (P1) can add weight gain by 150.80g / head / day. P0: 79.37g / head / day. and P2: 103.18g / head / day. And feed consumption P0: 1.80kg / head / day, P1: 1.86kg/head/day, P2: 1.76kg / head /day. Based on the results of this study concluded that, Giving substitution Feed with fermentation DQW significant effect on Merino sheep body weight gain (P<0.05), and no effect on Merino sheep feed intake (P>0.05).

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan level ekstrak bawang merah terhadap kualitas semen cair kambing peranakan ettawa (PE) dengan menggunakan pengencer ringer’s dextrose. Materi yang digunakan adalah semen segar kamping peranakan ettawa (PE), Ringer's Dextrose, dan ekstrak bawang merah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan menggunakan analisis statistik RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap). Pada penentuan tingkat ekstrak bawang dalam Dextrosperlich Ringer penguat adalah suhu ruang penyimpanan, hasil terbaik yang diketahui pada motilitas individu (P <0,01) adalah tambahan 2% sebanyak 71,87 ± 2,5. Dalam menentukan tingkat Ekstraksi ekstrak bawang Ringer Dextrose room temperature, hasil terbaik yang diketahui dalam survival (P <0,01) adalah penambahan 2% sebanyak 90,63 ± 0,97. Pengaruh kadar ekstrak bawang dalam pengencerRinger's Dextrose juga memberikan kelainan (P <0,05) di samping 2% sebanyak 0,61 ± 0,18. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penambahan ekstrak bawang bombay pada diluent Ringer's Dextrose memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap motilitas, viabilitas. Perlu penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai lama penyimpanan untuk mengetahui bagaimana ekstrak bawang bisa dapat mempertahankan kehidupan spermatozoa. Abstract The purpose of this research was to know and study the influence of level of different onion extract in diluent Ringer’s Dextrose to the quality of goat Ettawa cross breed’s semen room temperature storage. The material which was used is fresh semen Ettawa cross breed’s, Ringer’s Dextrose, Onion extract. The research method which is used is experimental by using statistical analysis of RAL (Complete Random Design). On the determination of the level of onion extract in a diluent Ringer’s Dextrose which is store room temperature, best results were known on motility of individuals (P<0,01) is in addition of 2% as much as 71.87±2.5.In determining the level of onion extract dilution Ringer Dextrose room temperature, the best results are known in survival ( P < 0.01 ) was the addition of 2 % as much as 90.63 ± 0.97. The influence of level of onion extract in diluentsRinger’s Dextrose is also giving abnormality (P<0,05) in addition of 2% as much as 0.61±0.18.The conclusion of this research is the addition of onion extract in diluent Ringer’s Dextrose give the real influence to motility, viability. It needs further research concerning the length of storage in order to find out how onion extract could sustain the life of spermatozoa.
